Vikram and Neha mock Jai as they watch him struggle with his fatal injuries. Jai stuns the two by rising with Babu Anna's gun and shoots Neha in the forehead, killing her instantly, to Vikram's horror. Luger and Steamboat faced each other at The Great American Bash in July with Luger winning by disqualification after Luger refused to wrestle Steamboat until the match's no-disqualification clause had been waived. Flyin' Brian Pillman challenged Luger at Halloween Havoc 1989: Settling the Score for the US Title, which Luger won. He also defeated Pillman in a rematch on the November 15 Clash of the Champions IX: New York Knockout to retain the title and end the feud.

Kingston joined Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW) and was almost immediately placed in the role of enforcer and mouthpiece in the BLKOUT faction. Kingston and fellow BLKOUT member Joker won the CZW World Tag Team Championship from the Kings of Wrestling (Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli) on February 11, 2006, at Seven Years Strong: Settling The Score. Seven months later on September 9, Kingston defeated Chris Hero to win the CZW World Heavyweight Championship after an extended feud. As a result of winning the CZW World Championship, BLKOUT vacated the tag team championship, and the Kings of Wrestling won them in a tournament, but were attacked by BLKOUT afterwards.

Seeing through Rinza despite his memory loss, Jinga joins Rinza's army to use the Fang of God in order to conquer the world while using Boel to create the Fang of God and sending Banbi to fight Rian. Jinga then joins the fray while returning their knights' Makai armor to defeat them as the Fang of God activates, his memories fully restored as he kills Rinza while revealing his only motivation is settling the score with Ryuga. The two battle before Jinga is once more slain by Ryuga, reunited with Amily in the Demon World as he decides to battle an awakened Messiah. As revealed in Kami no Kiba: Jinga, after being destroyed by Messiah, Jinga eventually reincarnated as a human and a Makai Knight named Jinga Mikage, an impossible case as Horrors do not truly die.
