The band was founded in 2007. The members come from the hardcore punk scene and have worked with among others, the streetpunk band Razor Bois and the crossover band Siberian Meat Grinder. Common to all members is a fondness for the hip-hop of the 1980s / 1990s like the Beastie Boys, Cypress Hill, or the Transplants and an anti-fascist attitude. After renaming they changed to their current style to connect aggressive rap with guitar-heavy hardcore beats, followed a year later by releasing a second self-titled demo tape with three songs.

A three-year hiatus occurred before the band was snapped up by Rick Rubin's Def American Records for whom they recorded a second self-titled album (Trouble) in 1990 with Rubin producing. More experimental than previous efforts, the album (featuring new drummer Barry Stern, formerly of Zoetrope) expanded upon the group's tentative psychedelic notions within its traditional use of power chords. The group embarked on a year-long tour before returning to the studio. In 1992 Manic Frustration was released, delving into Beatlesque psychedelia and featuring some of Trouble's most aggressive, energetic performances ever.

Enrico Fermi and his colleagues developed the world's second self- sustaining nuclear reactor after Fermi's previous experiment, the Chicago Pile-1. The X-10 was the first reactor designed for continuous operation. After the end of World War II the demand for weapons-grade plutonium fell and the reactor and the laboratory's 1000 employees were no longer involved in nuclear weapons. Instead, it was used for scientific research. In 1946 the first medical isotopes were produced in the X-10 reactor, and by 1950 almost 20,000 samples had been shipped to various hospitals.

The band's only material with Bennington was the EP High Rise in 2013. STP has released two albums with Gutt on vocals; its second self-titled album on March 16, 2018 and eighth studio album Perdida on February 7, 2020. While initially rising to fame as part of the grunge movement of the early 1990s, further releases from the band expressed a variety of influences, including psychedelic rock, bossa nova and classic rock. The band's evolution throughout the 1990s and early 2000s involved periods of commercial highs and lows, brought about in part by Weiland's well-publicized struggles with drug addiction.
However, in the idealistic stage, a youth now becomes enslaved by internal forces such as conscience, reason and other "spooks" or "fixed ideas" of the mind (including religion, nationalism and other ideologies). The final stage, "egoism", is the second self-discovery, in which one becomes self-conscious of oneself as more than his mind or body. Throughout the book, Stirner applies this dialectical structure to human history. Part one is a sustained critique of the first two periods of human history and especially of the failure of the Modern world to escape from religious modes of thinking.

Goodsell (1896), page 112. According to Harold Schechter, "Throughout the confession, Harry does in fact display many of the traits that we now know are typical of serial murderers: overweening narcissism, juvenile sadism... pyromania, a total lack of empathy for other human beings. Like other serial killers, he would experience his 'murderous impulse' as a kind of autonomous 'second self that would suddenly 'come over him.' Interestingly, he also seems to have suffered from convulsions as an adolescent, possibly as a result of a head injury -- a factor found in the background of many serial killers."Schechter (2012), page 253.
A second self-titled album, Small Faces, followed, which, if not a major seller, was very highly regarded by other musicians and would exert a strong influence on a number of bands both at home and abroad. Three weeks before, their old label, Decca, released the album From The Beginning, combining old hits with a number of previously unreleased recordings. It included earlier versions of songs they re-recorded for Immediate, including "My Way Of Giving", which they had demoed for Chris Farlowe, and "(Tell Me) Have You Ever Seen Me?", which they had given to Apostolic Intervention.
In 1983, after his departure from Kansas, Livgren recorded his second self-produced album for CBS, Time Line with Hope, Warren Ham, Michael Gleason and drummer Dennis Holt. By the end of the recording sessions, the session musicians had jelled, and he decided to name the group AD. Due to legal entanglements caused by his contractual obligations with Kansas, Livgren was unable to market AD in the mainstream secular market. After negotiating with the record label, he received a waiver to perform with AD in the Christian rock market. Unfortunately, this would become a hindrance to commercial viability for the band.

The track "Sunchild" instantly became the audio signature of the radioshow "Im Sumpf" on Austria's Public Radio Station FM4 (ORF) in 2002. During the recordings of s/t and the following concerts, some guest musicians were associated to the band. Together with the groups of artists WR, MFU and David Kleinl, the band created a visual concept for their live-appearances.

In her process of evaluating our relationships with computers, Turkle interviews children, college students, engineers, AI scientists, hackers and personal computer owners in order to further understand our relationships with computers and how we interact with them on a personal level.

There are two types of crosslinkers, which are the chemicals that bond together cellulose chains, the first ones only bond cellulose chains, while the second self-polymerize resins as well. N-methylol and DMDHEU are reagents commonly used for the treatments because of their relatively low costs; however, they produce free formaldehyde, which has been identified as a potential human carcinogen, and it can also cause harmful dermatological effects. The use of titanium dioxide (TiO2) (as a catalyst/ co-catalyst for these reactions) has become an alternative way to minimize the formation of free formaldehyde and fabric strength loss. Dimethyloldihydroxyethyleneurea (DMDHEU) is the most commonly used durable-press finish.

Many critics favorably compared the songs on Hurley to the songs from Weezer's first three albums. Scott Heisel at Alternative Press and Ben Patashnik of Rock Sound compared the song "Ruling Me" to the songs from the band's self-titled debut and second self-titled album. As Country Joe and the Fish's popularity grew, the band relocated to San Francisco in early 1966 and became popular fixtures at the Avalon and the Filmore Auditorium. On June 6, 1966, the band recorded a second self-produced EP, which was packaged separately from the Rag Baby magazine and, upon its release, debuted the new psychedelic rock incarnation of the group. The EP fulfilled the band's ambitions to incorporate electric instruments into their music, effectively melding the instrumentals and pioneering an early template for the musical subgenre of acid rock. It included McDonald's compositions "(Thing Called) Love" and "Bass Strings" on the A-side and the six-minute "Section 43" on the B-side.
This rare recording has since become a collector's item. Arrogance's debut album, the self-released, self-produced LP Give Us a Break , came out in 1973. A more acoustic folk style had, by then, replaced the early hard-rock, but the trademark vocals, harmonies and smart lyrics were very much in evidence. The sound became more upbeat when percussionist Ogie Shaw was replaced by drummer Steve Herbert and the result was Arrogance's second self-labeled LP, Prolepsis, coming out in 1975.

The same year they opened shows for Paramore's Brand New Eyes World Tour in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, following a petition which reached over 7,000 signatures, and also covered Rebecca Black's song "Friday" to celebrate their 5th anniversary. Later that year, their song "Primeira Lembrança" was nominated for the MTV Video Music Brazil award, in the "Hit of the Year" category through popular voting.

However several sociologists have pointed out that while it is important to acknowledge and identify the structural inequalities inherent in differentials in digital technology use, this concept is rather simplistic and fails to incorporate the complexities of access to and knowledge about digital technologies.Willis, S. and Tranter, B. Afghans sometimes used RPG-7s at extreme range, exploded by their 4.5-second self-destruct timer, which translates to roughly 950m flight distance, as a method of long distance approach denial for infantry and reconnaissance. During the South African Border War, the Soviet RPGs used by SWAPO guerrillas and their Angolan supporters posed a serious threat to South Africa's lightly armored APCs, which could be easily targeted as soon as they stopped to disembark troops. During the First (1994–1996) and Second Chechen Wars (1999–2009), Chechen rebels used RPGs to attack Russian tanks from basements and high rooftops. Chechen fighters formed independent "cells" that worked together to destroy a specific Russian armored target.

On November 1, 1988, Chayanne released the eponymous second self-titled album, Chayanne. This album included several hit singles including Honorio Herrero's "Tu Pirata Soy Yo", José María Cano's "Fuiste un Trozo de Hielo en la Escarcha", and "Este Ritmo Se Baila Así", composed by Pierre-Edouard Decimus, Jacob Desvarieux, both members of French Caribbean band Kassav', and Roberto Livi.
The set of homomorphisms from to can then be organized as the graph whose vertices and edges are respectively the vertex and edge functions appearing in that set. After signing with Star Song Communications, they released two more albums in 1990 and 1991: Hell Is for Wimps and Boys Will Be Boyz, with its first self-titled video. None of the band's first three albums garnered much attention, and the band's line-up changed with every release. It wasn't until their 1992 album, Not Ashamed (containing a cover of the DeGarmo & Key song "Boycott Hell"), that the band gained notice in the Christian music scene with its second self-titled video that followed a year later. Steve Taylor, a singer-songwriter and producer, began a partnership with the band, producing the band's record and writing most of the lyrics for their songs.

The album also featured the bluesy song "'Twas", co-written by Holmes and de Paul. He additionally produced Sparks' 1976 LP, Big Beat, though the album was not a success. In 1975, together with Jeffrey Lesser, Holmes produced the UK band Sailor's album Trouble (CBS Epic).
At the crisis of their bitter controversy, Cromwell suddenly proposed to stifle all animosities by the resignation of all officers who were members of either House, a proposal which affected himself not less than Essex and Manchester.. The first "self-denying ordinance" was moved on 9 December 1644, and provided that "no member of either house shall have or execute any office or command...", etc. This was not accepted by the Lords. In the end, a second "self-denying ordinance" was agreed to on 3 April 1645, whereby all the persons concerned were to resign, but without prejudice to their reappointment. Simultaneously with this, the formation of the New Model was at last definitely taken into consideration.
TNT, also referred to as TNT II, is the second self-titled studio album by the Brazilian rock band TNT, released in 1988 by RCA Records. Their last release with original drummer Felipe Jotz, it sees the band shifting away from their previous "juvenile" rockabilly sound towards a more "mature" direction influenced by pop rock, a trend which would culminate in their subsequent release, 1991's Noite Vem, Noite Vai. "A Irmã do Dr. Robert" was the album's greatest hit, and led TNT to play at the popular TV show Globo de Ouro in 1988. The album's opening track, "Não Vai Mais Sorrir (Pra Mim)", counts with a guest appearance by famous musician Lulu Santos.
With more fundraising and spending, the financial success of the school is beginning to materialize. A healthy student body and faculty relationship is the hallmark of Visible School, and that connection has returned and grown through the initiatives of the school over the 2007-2008 school year. Expecting 80 full-time students in a reduced number of courses and major programs, Visible School has had the most successful year of its history in 2008-2009, culminating in a decision by second Self-Study, a TRACS Self-Study Team visit, and a TRACS Commission decision to grant Accredited Status to the College in 2009. The New urban campus in Downtown Memphis In 2011 moved the campus into Downtown Memphis, Tennessee after receiving a 3 million-dollar matching grant.
The single failed to make the Top 40 in the Country charts and the second, self-titled album, slated for an Autumn 1999 release, was put on hold by Epic, who decided to bring in Radney Foster to work with the duo in order to broaden their sound and gain stronger chart appeal. "My Heart Is Still Beating" was eventually not included on their second album. The duo did not release another single until the Foster-produced "She Ain't the Girl for You", the first single from their second album, II. This album also produced a minor single in "I'm In", which peaked at number 35 on the country charts. Ten years later, Keith Urban released a cover of this song, which went to number 2.
For a while the government did nothing, but after Pawlowski started making speeches proclaiming his innocence his trial papers were released, and in 1991 a leading magazine, Prawo i Zycie ("Law and Life"), revealed that since August 1955 Pawlowski had been spying for the state against his own team mates – telling the security services which athletes were planning to defect, who supported Israel in the Middle East war, who might be open to approaches. His spying ceased abruptly in March 1962, when it was judged that he was using his position "for personal gain". These and similar articles were even more damaging than the original charges. In 1994 Pawlowski wrote a second, self- justifying book, Najdluzszy Pojedynek (My Longest Duel), exclusively about his days as a spy.
Black Heung Jin Nim (also known as "Second Self Heung Jin Nim" and Cleopas Kundioni)Eileen Barker, in America's Alternative Religions, edited by Timothy Miller, SUNY Press, 1995, , page 225 refers to the alleged embodiment of the spirit of Heung Jin Moon in the body of a Zimbabwean member of the Unification Church named Kundioni. Kundioni's name was not known by most church members at the time, but he met with Sun Myung Moon and members of the "True Family", who apparently accepted the "Black Heung Jin Nim" as a temporary union of the spirit of Heung Jin Moon with the mind and body of Kundioni."Everyone in the household embraced him and called him [Heung Jin]." G-Dragon toured extensively from 2015 to 2016 with his band Big Bang to promote their third Korean album Made (2016),[105][106] After promotional activities wrapped up, G-Dragon began preparing for his comeback, having been almost four years since his last solo release. The single "Bullshit" was set to serve as the lead single to precede the release of his second self-titled EP. However, after a controversy involving his fellow Big Bang member, T.O.P, G-Dragon serviced "Untitled, 2014" to radio instead. Though he's primarily a rapper, "Untitled, 2014" features G-Dragon only singing over a "single piano accompaniment". The song was composed using common time in the key of E major, with a moderate tempo of 80 beats per minute.
In 1987 Petracco returned to the band, and alongside new guitarist Luís Felipe "Tchê" Gomes, they released their self-titled debut studio album, TNT. With many of its tracks written by Master and Basso prior to his departure, it was a critical and commercial success, being responsible for catapulting the band into nationwide fame. A second self-titled album came out the next year, which counted with a guest appearance by Lulu Santos; drummer Felipe Jotz left the band after its release, and was replaced by Paulo Arcari. In 1991 the band's third album, Noite Vem, Noite Vai, was released; it marked a shift from their previous rockabilly-/rock and roll-inflected sonority towards a more traditional pop rock one.
"If I Ever Fall in Love" was covered in 1996 as a duet by British boy band East 17 and singer Gabrielle (with a backing track), and renamed "If You Ever". It peaked at number two on the UK Singles Chart, behind "Say You'll Be There" by the Spice Girls, and also peaked within the top ten of the charts in Ireland, Latvia, and Sweden. The song received a Platinum certification from the British Phonographic Industry in September 2019 for sales and streams exceeding 600,000. The song was the first single from East 17's first Greatest Hits compilation Around the World Hit Singles: The Journey So Far, and was also the fourth single from Gabrielle's second self-titled album.
Spiral Scratch Org1 The label's first release was Buzzcocks' Spiral Scratch (EP), which was the second self-released punk record ever (after The Saints "(I'm) Stranded" from Australia), and the third English punk single (preceded only by The Damned's "New Rose", and Sex Pistols's "Anarchy in the U.K."). The band had to borrow £500 from their friends and families to pay for the record's production and manufacture.Perry, A. in Mojo 95, P. 90 The EP quickly sold out its initial run of 1,000 copies, and went on to sell 16,000 copies, initially only by mail order, but also eventually with the help of the Manchester branch of music chain store Virgin, whose manager took some copies and persuaded other regional branch managers to follow suit.Reynolds, Simon.
Continuing his role as a romantic balladeer while emerging as a new jack swing star, he released a second self- titled album in 1990, which included the hits "My, My, My", "Rub You the Right Way", "Fairweather Friend", and "Wrap My Body Tight". In 1993, Gill released another solo project, Provocative, which included the songs "Quiet Time to Play", "A Cute, Sweet, Love Addiction", and the gospel song, "I Know Where I Stand". In 1996, Johnny reunited with New Edition and recorded the album Home Again.
Under the MC Mint & DJ Renegade name, the duo recorded their first white-label release – "It's My Thing" – in 1989. The disc became an underground and pirate radio hit in the UK and also came to the attention of two high-profile New York radio stations (Kiss and WBLS) who eventually put the track into frequent rotation. Inspired by this initial success (which, as an unsigned act without commercial backing, they were unable to immediately follow up), Mintos and Renegade eventually produced a second self-funded and distributed single called "Got To Have It". This attracted the interest of British DJ Gilles Peterson, a champion of new black British music who was also the owner of the Phonogram Records subsidiary Talkin' Loud (the label for acts including Incognito, Omar Lye-Fook, Young Disciples and Galliano).

The band lineup changed in 1990, and included Adam Czeisler, vocals, Rich Credo, rhythm guitar, Cole Peterson, bass guitar, Dudley Taft, lead guitar and Paul Uhlir, Drums. Although Martchenko began his career as a commercial artist, he was later approached by Robert Munsch and Annick Press representatives to consider a career in children’s book illustrating after they saw his work at a graphic arts exhibition. His first Munsch book was 1980's The Paper Bag Princess after his six-year-old daughter read the story; he is now the go-to illustrator for Munsch books. In 1984, Martchenko began his artistic partnership with Allen Morgan, author of the "Matthew’s Midnight Adventure" series. It was not until 1990 that he first authored and illustrated his own book, Birdfeeder Banquet. His second self-authored and illustrated book, Ma, I’m a Farmer, was published in 2003. Aside from his passion for illustrating children’s books, Martchenko also has an interest in aviation and military art and history.

Bjesovi performing in 2009 The bands Block Out from Belgrade and Bjesovi from Gornji Milanovac were the representatives of grunge on the Serbian rock scene. After their debut album Crno, belo i srebrno (1994), the early hard rock concept of Block Out started to move towards a darker, heavier atmosphere and sound under Nikola Vranjković's songwriting. The followup Godina sirotinjske zabave (1996) featured the material written during the six years of the band existence, and the lyrical themes were mainly oriented around the end of socialism in Serbia. With the release of the next album, San koji srećan sanjaš sam (1998), the band moved from grunge sound towards art rock and alternative rock. Bjesovi released their debut U osvit zadnjeg dana in 1991, but achieved success with the release of their second, self-titled album (1994).
After two years of touring for ...And Out Come the Wolves, Rancid returned to the studio in 1997 to begin recording its fourth studio album, Life Won't Wait, which was released on June 30, 1998. The album branched out from Rancid's previous musical styles, and combined punk rock with elements of roots reggae, rockabilly, dub, hip-hop, and funk, drawing comparisons to the Clash's Sandinista!. Though the album did not achieve the success of ...And Out Come the Wolves, but has since garnered a strong cult following in recent times. In 1999, Rancid decided to end its seven-year relationship with Epitaph and signed with Armstrong's founded Hellcat Records (which is a sub-label of Epitaph). A second self-titled album was released on August 1, 2000 and would be its first album released through Hellcat.
After this first record and these first shows, the group continued to perform at various events across Canada and even returned to Havana in 2006, to present their new material and their new live show. As contacts kept on multiplying, the group managed in 2008 to independently organize a tour in São Paulo, Brazil where their music and community workshops found a new fan base and where they produced a new mixtape with local artists. These out of the ordinary moves caught the attention of Outside Music, who in 2009 offered Nomadic a national distribution deal for their second self-titled album, which sold more than 4500 copies. In 2012, the group released a mixtape project entitled Supafam, which came out digitally but also on 300 exclusive cassette tapes that were rapidly sold at the launch party.
All the members of O'Death met between the years of 2000 and 2003 at SUNY Purchase. With Greg Jamie on guitar and vocals, Gabe Darling on electric guitar, ukulele, piano, and vocals, David Rogers-Berry on drums, Robert Pycior on violin, and Andrew Platt on bass - O'Death put together a very raw, 10-track CD-R, entitled Carl Nemelka Family Photographs,O'Death recorded by Joshua Benash (of the bands Kiss Kiss and Vuvuzela) in 2004. In 2005, Gabe Darling switched to banjo and ukulele, the band added bass player Jesse Newman to the permanent lineup, and O'Death played a year-long monthly residency at the now defunct Apocalypse Lounge in NYC. The band built a local fan base around their irreverent take on Americana by playing dive bars in the East Village and house parties around Brooklyn, as they worked on new material for their second self-released LP, Head Home.

The Specific label licensed the second album in 2015, also for release on 500 one-sided laser- etched LPs as well as streaming and download on their Bandcamp page and retitled BiS Kaidan 2.
Interest first arose in Glass Animals after the release of their debut extended play Leaflings on independent label Kaya Kaya Records, a subsidiary and imprint of XL Recordings, part of the Beggars Group of labels. After they became the first act to be signed to Wolf Tone, the record label of British producer Paul Epworth, they released their second, self-titled EP. A song from the EP, "Black Mambo", in addition to a re-recorded version of "Cocoa Hooves" from Leaflings, appears on Zaba, expanding the promotion of the album. Glass Animals also gained exposure in Europe by playing opening act on European shows of St. Vincent, Metronomy, Yeasayer and others. Zaba performed particularly well on the Australian charts, following three headline shows in the country and an appearance and regular airplay on Australian radio station Triple J. The album reached number 12 on the ARIA Charts.

After the successful self-titled album released in 1987, which included one of Chayanne's signature songs, "Fiesta en América", a track that peaked at number 4 in the Billboard Hot Latin Tracks chart and also ranked 49th in the 2008 recap for the '100 Greatest Songs of the 80's in Spanish' by VH1 Latin America, the singer recorded in 1988 his second self-titled album under the Sony record label. During this year, the singer also won the Lo Nuestro Award for Pop Male Artist and the album was nominated for Pop Album of the Year.
G-Dragon was featured on Zion.T's song "Complex" for his album OO (2017), which peaked at number two on the Gaon Digital Chart. He also served as a guest rapper for IU's lead single "Palette," off her album of the same name which topped the Gaon Chart for two consecutive weeks. After the promotional activities with his band wrapped up, G-Dragon began preparing for the release of his new album, along with a solo concert tour. The single "Bullshit" was set to serve as the lead single to precede the release of his second self-titled EP. Due to bandmate T.O.P's marijuana scandal, and the single's provocative name, "Untitled, 2014" was released to radio instead to avoid further controversy for the artist's record label. Forgoing the traditional method of releasing music on CDs, Kwon Ji Yong was released in USB flash drive format on June 8, drawing criticism from Gaon, which refused to regard it as an official album.
Carmen followed up with two more albums. Despite declining chart fortunes, the single "Change of Heart" broke into the Pop Top 20 and reached number 6 at AC in late 1978, with this hit also being covered by Samantha Sang on her Emotion LP. But in 1980, after the release of the album "Tonight You're Mine" and single "It Hurts Too Much" (number 75 Billboard Top 100; number 3 South Africa, June 1980) he temporarily withdrew from the music industry. Four years later, after Mike Reno and Ann Wilson topped the charts (Pop number 7; Adult Contemporary number one) with the Carmen-penned ballad "Almost Paradise" (the love theme to the film Footloose), Carmen resurfaced on Geffen Records in 1985 with a second self-titled album and a sizeable comeback hit "I Wanna Hear It from Your Lips". The single hit the Adult Contemporary Top 10 as well as the Pop Top 40. The follow-up single, "I'm Through with Love," also climbed the Billboard Hot 100 and reached the Top 20 of the Adult Contemporary chart.
English has (proportionally) far fewer rhyming words than Italian. Recognizing this, Shakespeare adapted the sonnet form to English by creating an alternate rhyme scheme: ABAB CDCD EFEF GG. The poet using this, the English sonnet or Shakespearean sonnet form, may use the fourteen lines as single unit of thought (as in "The Silken Tent" above), or treat the groups of four rhyming lines (the quatrains) as organizational units, as in Shakespeare's Sonnet 73: :That time of year thou mayst in me behold :When yellow leaves, or none, or few do hang :Upon those boughs which shake against the cold :Bare ruined choirs where late the sweet birds sang. :In me thou seest the twilight of such day :As after sunset fadeth in the west, :Which by and by black night doth steal away, :Death's second self, which seals up all in rest. :In me thou seest the glowing of such fire :That on the ashes of his youth doth lie, :As the deathbed whereon it must expire, :Consumed with that which it was nourished by.
His first album For You made little impact, although the single "Soft and Wet" reached No. 12 on the Billboard R&B; chart. However, his second self-titled album (1979) fared considerably better, reaching #3 on the R&B; album chart and earning a gold record award; the first single lifted from the album, "I Wanna Be Your Lover" became Prince's first crossover hit, reaching #1 on the R&B; chart and #11 on the main pop chart, while the follow-up single "Why You Wanna Treat Me So Bad?" reached No. 13 on the R&B; chart. Although he was still little known outside the US at this stage, this early success set the stage for his major commercial breakthrough in the 1980s. Another valuable late 1970s discovery was metal-pop band Van Halen, who were spotted at a Hollywood club by Mo Ostin and Ted Templeman in 1977. Their self-titled debut album was a notable success, reaching #19 on the Billboard album chart, and their second album Van Halen II (1979) reached No. 6 and produced their first hit single "Dance the Night Away" (#19).
Runner-up Darin Zanyar also signed a recording contract with Sony BMG and has gone on to enjoy huge success in Sweden, Finland and Germany. His debut album The Anthem was released in February 2005, charted at number 1 and was certified platinum, selling over 50,000 copies in Sweden. The first single "Money For Nothing" was also a huge number 1 hit. His second, self-titled album Darin was released later the same year and surpassed the success of its predecessor, gaining platinum status with sales of almost 80,000 copies and producing Zanyar's second Swedish number 1 single. Break the News was released in late 2006, became his third chart-topping album, was certified gold and gave Zanyar his third number 1 single with "Desire". On December 3, 2008, after almost a two- year break from the music industry, Zanyar's fourth album, Flashback was released. It peaked at number 10, becoming his first not to reach number 1 or gain a certification, despite the huge success of its lead single "Breathing Your Love" featuring Kat DeLuna. In 2009, Zanyar parted ways with Sony BMG and signed a new recording contract with Universal Music.
Following his psychedelic pop-influenced self- titled debut album in 1967, he released his first successful single "Space Oddity", which introduced the fictional astronaut Major Tom. He then released his folk rock-inspired second self-titled album in 1969, the hard rock The Man Who Sold the World (1970) and the art pop Hunky Dory (1971), which represented an artistic breakthrough for Bowie, containing songs such as "Changes" and "Life on Mars?". Between 1972 and 1974, Bowie was a pioneer of the glam rock genre, as showcased on The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars (1972), which launched Bowie to stardom, Aladdin Sane and the covers album Pin Ups (both 1973), and Diamond Dogs (1974). His songs from this era include "Suffragette City", "The Jean Genie", "Rebel Rebel" and "All the Young Dudes" (made famous by Mott the Hoople), the last two of which are regarded as glam anthems. Young Americans (1975) showcased Bowie's interest in soul and R&B; music, as well as funk ("Fame"). Station to Station (1976) was the vehicle for his persona the Thin White Duke, and is commonly known as the musical transition between Young Americans and his experimental Berlin Trilogy, consisting of Low (1977), "Heroes" (1977) and Lodger (1979).
