There are two ways to show that a chord is an added tone chord, and it is very common to see both methods on the same score. One way is to simply use the word 'add', for example, Cadd 9. The second way is to use 2 instead of 9, implying that it is not a seventh chord, for instance, C2. Note that this provides other ways of showing a ninth chord, for instance, C7add 9, C7add 2, or C7/9.

There are no readily available heuristics available that are accurate with large databases. This method has only been used by Ringe's group.Indo-European and Computational Cladistics, Transactions of the Philosophical Society 100/1 (2002) In these two methods there are often several trees found with the same score so the usual practice is to find a consensus tree via an algorithm. A majority consensus has bipartitions in more than half of the input trees while a greedy consensus adds bipartitions to the majority tree.
Once play begins, players who win receive a point, those who draw receive one-half of a point, and those who lose receive no points. Win, lose or draw, all players proceed to the next round where winners are pitted against opponents with equal performance scores (e.g. Round 1's winners play each other, Round 1's draws play each other, etc.). In later rounds (typical tournaments have anywhere from 3-9 rounds), players face opponents with the same (or almost the same) score.
No player is paired up against the same opponent twice (unless the tournament is specifically designed for all players to play one another twice (once as White, once as Black). If the first attacking team completed all objectives, the second team must do so as well to at least tie up the match. Otherwise, the new attacking team is shown the score they must beat via the game's interface and on the map. If they succeed, they win the match, and failure to at least match that score is a loss. If both teams end up with the same score but with no time remaining in their time banks, the match is considered a draw.

A limited overs match which does not reach a conclusion due to rain is not considered a draw, but rather is said to have no result.

Only celebrities that a contestant failed to match could play this round. If the players have the same score at the end of the show, a tiebreaker is used that reverses the game play. The contestants write their answers first on a card in secret, then the celebrities are canvassed to give their answers. The first celebrity response to match a contestant's answer gives that contestant the victory; if there is still no match (which is rare), the round is replayed with a new question.

Though there are differences in how each state calculates the ATAR, they are all primarily based in the student's scaled subject results. Scaling is a process that is performed by all states which aligns student results along a common axis such that the same score in two subjects equates with the same level of achievement. In this way, students are not disadvantaged by taking difficult subjects where the average achievement is lower. When the player and dealer display hands with the same score, the one with the highest-valued tile (based on the pair rankings described above) is the winner. For example, a player's hand of 3-4 and 2-2 and a dealer's hand of 5-6 and 5-5 would each score one point. However, since the dealer's 5-5 outranks the other three tiles, he would win the hand. If the scores are tied, and if the player and dealer each have an identical highest-ranking tile, the hand is ruled a copy and the dealer wins.

Should the top two contestants have the same score and same number of passes at the end of the contest then a tie-breaker is employed, in which the two contenders are each asked the same five questions (one contender must leave the auditorium while the other answers). It is not clear what would happen should this fail to produce a clear winner, though it is implied that the process would simply be repeated as many times as necessary. It is, however, very rare for the tie-break to be required. The winner goes through to the next round, where he must choose a different specialised subject.

This is especially true when this metric is limited to only the first few results as it is done in practice. For example, for queries such as "restaurants" nDCG@1 would account for only the first result and hence if one result set contains only 1 restaurant from the nearby area while the other contains 5, both would end up having the same score even though the latter is more comprehensive.

Jon O'Brien in review for AllMusic rated the album 3/5 stars and concluded that the "overall ambitious concept proves that the just-turned- sixty-year-old certainly no longer holds any commercial aspirations". Artur Schulz for laut.de gave it the same score, and noted it has a mixture of both authentic blues and his pop-rock catchy work (particularly "The Chance of Love") from the "Dancing with Strangers" era, "with mostly good results: Chris manages the balancing act between fun and seriousness mostly effortlessly". Luke Turner in BBC review noted that it is a "straightforward homage to blues traditionalism [...] playing is exemplary, his songwriting accomplished, the boxes ticked", but being too focused on guitar playing, besides "The Chance of Love" his "gravelly voice [...] struggles to be heard".

Fans are likely to feel better about a team that loses after staging a "comeback that fell just short" than a team that lost by the same score after having played evenly throughout the match and then allowed the other team the winning score at the end. Tobias J. Moskowitz, L. Jon Wertheim, Scorecasting: The Hidden Influences Behind How Sports Are Played and Games Are Won (2012), p. 77-78. In some sports, particularly those regulated by a game clock, the time that it takes to score points makes a comeback impossible when there is too great a point disadvantage to overcome in the time remaining. It has been noted, however, that in "some sports, such as tennis or baseball, a comeback is possible until the very last point, regardless of what the deficit might be".

The game finishes when the first of three things happens: #There is a result, so that one of the teams has won or the team batting last has lost all its wickets with both teams having the same score thereby giving a tie; #The later of the minimum number of overs for the last hour are completed and the agreed time for the end of the game has been reached (see notes below); #If the players leave the field, either for adverse conditions of ground, weather or light,The term "bad light" has been broadly used in cricket to refer to low visibility levels. or in exceptional circumstances, and no further play is possible. Elsewhere, there are digs at Britain's mental health system on Shrink, self-appointed hardmen and the music industry that spat him out. A diligent editor and better production would have meant a wayward masterpiece, but this is an absorbing, troubling, sometimes brilliant album." A review in The Times was in the same vein and with the same score. Will Hodgkinson wrote, "In the early 1980s Adam Ant was the best pop star on the planet ... Some of that genius is in evidence on this comeback of sorts, but it comes as damaged goods, with a sense of frantic chaos rather than contained energy ... The problem is that all kind of good musical and lyrical themes come across as thrown together, rather than making coherent sense ... Still, there are some gems buried among the cartoonish, throwaway moments ... It's a scrappy, unfocused album, and too long at 17 tracks, but it does reveal the life force beating away inside a fascinating, original, troubled man.
Also, in a 1998–99 FA Cup fifth round tie between Arsenal and Sheffield United, Arsenal's winning goal scored under these circumstances (although as a result of a misunderstanding rather than a deliberate action) was so contentious the Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger offered to replay the match. Sheffield United accepted, though Arsenal went on to win the second game by the same score, 2-1. Feigning injury to cause the ball to be kicked out is another example of gamesmanship intended to break the flow of play, though if detected, it may be regarded as ungentlemanly conduct, which is a breach of the laws and hence is no longer gamesmanship. In response to claims of feigned injuries during the 2006 World Cup, the Premier League has asked players, managers and referees to end the custom as of the 06/07 season, instead preferring a referee alone to determine whether a break in play is needed.
Writing for The Irish Times, Will Hodginkson gave the same score and agreed that the song's pacing and mood captures the experience of being in lockdown during the pandemic. Craig Jenkins of Vulture opined that the single arrives 'right on time' as the 'track lands in the sweet spot between wistful boomer nostalgia and tacit acknowledgment that the sands of time have shifted, and once again we’re looking fondly backward instead of excitedly forward'. Mark Beaumont of NME panned the track, calling it a 'a rushed and half-baked comment on our current predicament', particularly criticizing the lyrics, as 'Jagger perhaps doesn't have it in him to speak to the real discomfort and isolation of the average British hutch dweller, or the fear and hopelessness of the millions falling unfairly through the gaping holes in Rishi Sunak's fishnet safety packages'. The New York Times prepares a regular list of the most notable music releases of the week, and Jon Pareles recommended the track.
He first made his mark when he played in the 2013 PDC World Cup of Darts with Matteo dal Monte and failed to get out the group stages, losing to Spain (Carlos Rodriguez and Antonio Alcinas) 5-3 and then Wales (Mark Webster and Richie Burnett) 5-0. In the 2016 PDC World Cup of Darts campaign, teaming up Michel Furlani, they were whitewashed by Austria (Mensur Suljović and Rowby-John Rodriguez) 5-0, only averaging 76.93. The Chileans then managed to knock out the title holders in Rio de Janeiro, winning 2-0 by goals from Eduardo Vargas and Charles Aránguiz, only to go down by the same score in their final group match in São Paulo against the Netherlands, thus ending second in their group and going through to the round of 16. Group C saw outsiders Colombia, who missed top striker Radamel Falcao due to an injury, take on Greece, Japan and Côte d'Ivoire. Los Cafeteros eased through their group, defeating the Europeans 3-0 in Belo Horizonte, the Africans 2-1 in Brasília and the Asians 4-1 in Cuiabá, with James Rodríguez emerging as a bit of a star by scoring in all their games. In Group D, Uruguay, who ended third in South Africa, started off with a shock as they failed to overcome an offensive second half strategy by minnows Costa Rica and eventually went down 3-1 in Fortaleza and ended the game with 10 men.
Tunisia's qualification for the 2018 FIFA World Cup and its positive results in the friendlies against Iran and Costa Rica led to its rise to 14th place in the FIFA World Rankings for the first time ever, after being first in African teams and surpassing teams like Italy and Netherlands. The team also continued its good results before the World Cup, with a draw with Turkey and Portugal, with the same score 2–2, in addition to a difficult defeat against Spain 1–0 in the 85th minute. Despite this, in the World Cup, the performance of the team did not rise to the expected level, and was once again eliminated from the group stage after losing 1–2 against England because of Harry Kane's goal in the last minute and a complete 2–5 thrash against Belgium, before winning the last game 2–1 against Panama, the first World Cup win for Tunisia since beating Mexico 3–1 in 1978.
The Timbers began the 2020 Major League Soccer season with a loss at home against Minnesota United FC and a win against MLS expansion side Nashville SC. On March 12, 2020, the season then entered a lengthy suspension due to the COVID-19 pandemic in North America. On June 10, MLS announced that a bracket format dubbed the "MLS is Back Tournament" would begin July 8 at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Walt Disney World, and end with the final on August 11. Portland began the tournament drawn with LAFC, LA Galaxy, and the Houston Dynamo in Group F, which was dubbed the "Group of Death" by the media. The Timbers defeated Chicharito and the Galaxy 2–1 to open the tournament, downed Houston by the same score 5 days later, and then, assured of passage to the next round, came back to tie LAFC 2–2 while playing mostly their reserves to finish on top of the group.

He also won silver medals for the 10 m air pistol at the U.S. national championships, and claimed his first ever career title at the 2010 Championships of the Americas (CAT Games) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with an impressive score of 682.3 points (580 in the preliminary rounds and 102.3 in the final). Beaman also qualified for the men's 10 m air pistol at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, by placing second from the U.S. Olympic Team Trials in Fort Benning, Georgia. He had finished on exactly the same score of 682.0 points (581 in the preliminary rounds and 101 in the final), as his teammate Jason Turner, but lost in a shoot-off by two tenths of a point (0.2) for a bonus of 10.3. Beaman initially placed fifth in this event, but was upgraded to a higher position, when North Korea's Kim Jong-Su tested positive for propranolol, and consequently, stripped of his bronze medal.
Eion Friel of The Action Elite rated the film three out of five stars and gave a mixed review. He ultimately concluded the review and writes "Overall, Sleeping Fist is a hugely entertaining kung fu movie, let down by some awful dubbing which causes more unintentional laughter than anything else." J. Doyle Wallis of DVD Talk also rated the film three out of five stars and writes "Sleeping Fist is still so well paced and infused with enough character that I really didn't mind the cute stuff as much as I usually would (some cute moments to look out for, Old Fox steering the Kid around like a puppet fighting a group of thugs- the kid when finally liking Old Fox, dresses exactly like him- some urination humor)." Andrew Saroch of Far East Films rated the film the same score as well and gave a mixed review criticizing its predictable story with no plot twist and also praising the action scenes and lead actor Bryan Leung's performance.
In 1963, Olympiacos became the first ever Greek club to win a non-domestic competition, winning the Balkans Cup, which marked the first international success by any Greek football club. The Balkans Cup was a very popular international competition in the 1960s (the 1967 final attracted 42,000 spectators), being the second most important international club competition for clubs from the Balkans (after the European Champions' Cup). Olympiacos topped his group after some notable wins, beating Galatasaray 1–0 at the Karaiskakis Stadium (Stelios Psychos 49'), as well as FK Sarajevo (3–2) and FC Brașov (1–0), bagging also two away draws against Galatasaray (1–1) in Mithatpaşa Stadium (Metin Oktay 78' – Aristeidis Papazoglou 6') and FK Sarajevo in Koševo Stadium (3–3). In the final, they faced Levski Sofia, winning the first match in Piraeus (1–0, Giorgos Sideris 37') and losing the second match in Vasil Levski Stadium with the same score.

James Braid won the Championship for the fourth time, eight strokes ahead of runner-up Tom Ball. Qualifying took place on Tuesday and Wednesday, 16–17 June, and the players were divided into two "sections." Those in the first section played on the first morning and second afternoon while those in the second section played on the first afternoon and second morning. After the 36 holes the leading thirty players and ties qualified from each section. The qualifying score of 163 was the same in both sections, and 65 players qualified. J.H. Taylor led the first section with a score of 150 while the Scottish amateur Robert Andrew led the second section with the same score. The first round on Thursday morning was noted for its low scoring, especially on the first nine holes.
Watson and Nicklaus were again paired for the final round. On the last day, the two were tied after 16 holes. Nicklaus missed a makeable birdie putt on 17, losing his share of the lead to Watson, who birdied 17. On the 18th, Nicklaus drove into the rough, while Watson drove the fairway. Watson's approach landed two feet from the flag, while Nicklaus, after a drive into deep rough and near a gorse plant, managed to get his approach 40 feet away. Nicklaus sank his birdie putt to finish with a 66, but Watson followed suit with his own birdie, finishing with a second straight 65 and his second Open, with a record score of 268 (12 under par). The two players finished well ahead of the other challengers (Hubert Green in third place was ten strokes behind Nicklaus, at 279), and shot the same score every round except for the final day, which was then played on Saturday.
The 1986 Browns finished 12–4 to not only win the division again, but also set a franchise record for regular-season victories in the NFL in addition to securing home-field advantage throughout the AFC playoffs. In one of the most pulsating games in club history, the Browns edged the New York Jets 23–20 in double-overtime in the divisional playoffs. Then, in maybe the most disappointing contest in team annals, the Browns lost to the Denver Broncos by that same score in OT in the AFC Championship Game as quarterback John Elway orchestrated what has become known as The Drive. The Browns were involved in six contests decided by three points or less, and eight decided by six points or less. There were two OT games – in consecutive weeks, no less – when the Browns beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 37–31 and the Houston Oilers 13–10, both in Cleveland.
Born in Paredes, Metropolitan Area of Porto, Caetano joined FC Porto's youth system at the age of 13, being released in 2010 and joining F.C. Paços de Ferreira shortly after. He made his Primeira Liga debut on 14 August of that year, starting and assisting Mario Rondón for the game's only goal in a home win against Sporting CP. On 23 April 2011, Caetano played in a 2–1 loss to S.L. Benfica in the Taça da Liga final, as a 71st-minute substitute for Manuel José. He scored his first career goal six days later, the late winner in a win by the same score at home to Vitória S.C. after replacing the same teammate. Caetano played 24 matches in 2012–13 (20 from the bench, 606 minutes of action), as Paços finished a best-ever third and qualified to the UEFA Champions League for the first time in their history.
Despite having been originally eliminated at the first stage, Terry Wogan's "wild card" pick turned out to be the winner when the viewers voted Andy Abraham the victor with "Even If". This received a total of 14 points in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 on 24 May 2008 in Belgrade, finishing in last place, although sharing the same score with Poland (24th) and Germany (23rd). The multi-week format had members of the public (amateur or professional) compete to represent the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009, which was to be held in Moscow, Russia.
At the end of each of the first two rounds (and in early years, also at the end of the third round), the highest-scoring player gets to go to a "Gift Shop" and is offered the chance to sacrifice part of his/her score to "purchase" a prize at a "low price". The prizes, and the cost, increased in each round, usually around $5–7 in round 1, then $7–10 in round 2, and $10–16 in round 3. Contestants were allowed to haggle with the host, who, depending on the game situation, might reduce the price and offer inducements including actual cash in order to entice the contestant to purchase. If two or more players had the same score at this point, a Dutch auction was conducted for the prize whereby the host would incrementally reduce the selling price until either contestant buzzed in or the host decided not to lower the prize any further and announced "no sale".

In October 2009, new manager Franciszek Smuda sent Szczęsny his first call up to the full national side, for the friendly matches against Romania and Canada. He made his debut against Canada on 18 November, coming on as a half-time substitute for Tomasz Kuszczak in a 1–0 victory at the Zdzislawa Krzyszkowiaka Stadium in Bydgoszcz. He earned his second cap and his first full match on 9 February 2011, in another friendly win of the same score, against Norway at the Estádio Algarve. Szczęsny had a strong performance against Germany on 6 September 2011, making eight critical saves in a 2–2 draw; this earned him praise from former German international goalkeeper Oliver Kahn. He was sent off in the opening game of Poland's co- hosting of UEFA Euro 2012 against Greece, for a professional foul on Dimitris Salpingidis, costing Poland a penalty which was saved by Przemysław Tytoń in a 1–1 draw.
Adult Video News gave Slaughter Disc a four out of five, though went on to write "this really is not a good movie" and "the most disturbing thing about it is that it contains a very definite anti-porn message". The same score was awarded by Digital Retribution, which said "it is the first movie I've seen that successfully merged horror with porn without becoming a farce or just awful". A grade of two was given by The Video Graveyard, which found the story interesting (if not explored as well as it could be) and stated "Even though the film has failed in the same area as others of its type, I have to admit that Slaughter Disc did manage to elicit a fair amount of suspense and had me wanting to know what was going to happen". The Worldwide Celluloid Massacre called Slaughter Disc a dull and uninteresting film that was non-erotic porn and non-scary horror with mostly weak gore.

Ecuador became the only CONMEBOL nation not to reach the knockout stage. In Group E, La Tricolor suffered a late 2-1 defeat against Switzerland in Brasília, before beating Honduras by the same score in Curitiba. Their 0-0 draw against France at the Maracanã was not enough to go through. All 3 Ecuadorian goals were scored by striker Enner Valencia. Argentina found themselves on enemy soil in Brazil, and failed to impress in Group F, although they eventually managed to win all 3 of their matches narrowly. Star striker Lionel Messi became Argentina's hero in the group phase, scoring 4 of Argentina's 6 goals. A 2-1 win over debutants Bosnia and Herzegovina in Rio de Janeiro was followed by a last-gasp 1-0 victory over Iran in Belo Horizonte, with Messi scoring to clinch a victory over the Asian hopefuls. Their group stage campaign ended with a tight 3-2 victory over African champions Nigeria, with Messi scoring twice, and La Albiceleste progressed to the knockout phase with 9 points out of 9.

Edge singled out the upgrade from Normal to Hard difficulties as the point where the game transitions from "the great to the legendary", concluding that it was "difficult to recall another third-person actioner" that felt "so worth mastering". GamesRadar's Nathan Irvine also said that the game nailed "the epic scale of everything" that unfolded in front of the player and "manner in which it's delivered", believed it was better than God of War Collection, Devil May Cry 4, and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, and praised its "superb action" and humor. However, he said the only time its plot made sense was "right at the end", and complained about some of the game's "insanely frustrating" Quick Time Events (QTEs). (The review is for the 360 version, but GamesRadar uses the same score and text for the PS3 port .) Staff at GameSpot UK labelled the "Witch Time" mechanic a "cool move" and one of the two boss battles they fought were "pretty intense", and said that it was "easy to see the similarities" between the game and Devil May Cry.

As England began their second innings, the Australians again made early breakthroughs, with Cook out for 12 and Ballance out for a duck, before Lyth and Bell shared a stand of 51 runs for the third wicket. The partnership was broken when Clarke made a one-handed catch to dismiss Lyth for 37, but Bell batted on to reach his first Test half-century in 10 innings. He and Root put on 97 for the fourth wicket before Bell was out for 60, bowled by Johnson for the Australian's first wicket of the match, following first-innings figures of 0/111. Root followed 11 overs later for exactly the same score off exactly the same number of balls, and dismissed in exactly the same manner by Hazlewood. Stokes then made a useful 42, but after the dismissal of Buttler (7), there was a clatter of wickets, reducing England from 236/5 to 245/8 in less than three overs. Wood hit a quickfire 32 not out off 18 balls to push England towards 300, but they were eventually bowled out for 289, a lead of 411.

The latter result caused the team to be the first to qualify for the season's play-offs. On 4 December, in the last game of regular play at home to Mumbai, Hume scored a penalty for his tenth goal of the season in a 2–3 loss. In the play-off semi-final second leg, he scored again in a 2–1 home win over Chennaiyin, a 2–4 aggregate elimination. With 11 goals, he was second place in the Indian Super League Golden Boot, two goals behind winner Stiven Mendoza; however, he won the season's Fittest Player award.
After one season in the League of Wales, Barry opted to become the league's first fully professional club and, thereafter, won their first league championship in 1995–96. The season was though marred by the deaths of chairman Neil O' Halloran and young midfielder Matthew Holtham, the latter in a motorway accident on the way back from an away match in April. 1996 saw the club create history as the first League of Wales side to progress beyond the opening round of a European competition. Following victory in Latvia over Dinaburg, Barry ousted Hungarian side Budapest Vasutas in one of several epic European nights at Jenner Park. Despite trailing 3–1 from the away leg, Barry stormed to a victory in the return match by the same score-line, and then won a penalty shoot-out 4–2. A memorable all-British tie with Scottish Premier League side Aberdeen was their reward and, after losing 3–1 to Roy Aitken's side at Pittodrie, the Welshmen were held to a pulsating 3–3 draw at a rain-swept Jenner Park; exiting the cup in thrilling fashion before a crowd of over 6,000.
The first significant work for the system was for the Orchestra of the Swan with a Time Structured Map (TSM) based work called Traveller, There Are No Paths, Paths Are Made By Walking created in the summer of 2005. A second, much more ambitious work, Four Bridges, was performed in November 2005, it combined the ideas of Simultaneity with the Time Structured Mapping system: the Orchestra of the Swan played from the score in England while pianist Burkhard Finke in Frankfurt, microtonal vocal specialist Toby Twining in Boston and Indian Classical singer Anand Thakore in Mumbai performed simultaneously from the same score, without hearing each other – each performance was recorded and later combined into a work for 8 speakers, which was later broadcast on WNYC New Sounds. In 2009, Time Structured Mapping was used for the creation of the one-hour Insomnia Poems for BBC Radio 3 (Jazz On 3) BBC Radio 3 Jazz On 3. which combined post-beat poet Steve Dalachinsky with a five-piece band consisting of soprano, Evelyne Beech, electronics and processing, Mike Cross, clarinets and saxes, Chris Cundy, bass, Robert Perry and Pete M Wyer on guitar, piano with found sounds and manipulations – each performing with a synchronized stopwatch.
Despite pleas from both the referee and his captain to leave the field Hickson remained to the end of the game, his blond hair now red, and his shirt the same colour as the United ones. Hickson was also the match-winner in the quarter final against Aston Villa, with a thunderbolt shot from the edge of the box, after starting the move himself behind the halfway line. An epic year for cup ties this, as Everton next faced Bolton Wanderers at Maine Road. Hickson again received a head injury in this game, and was forced to retire with 15 minutes of the game to go. This was not until he'd scored a goal in an improbable comeback from 4-0 down at half time. The final score was 4–3, with Bolton going on to be defeated by the same score against Blackpool in the "Matthews final". Everton soon returned to Division One, as Hickson's haul of 25 goals in the 1953–54 season helped them gain promotion to the top flight. After just one season back in the top flight with Everton, Hickson was sold to Aston Villa for £17,500. He never settled at Villa Park and played just 12 games in a brief stay.
O'Sullivan reached another final at the Players Championship. He overcame Barry Hawkins in the first round, winning 6–4 before winning another close match against Higgins by the same score. O'Sullivan's semi final was a much easier affair; he whitewashed an out-of-sorts Allen 6–0 under difficult playing conditions, with the state of the table being criticised by TV commentators, to set up a final against Neil Robertson . O'Sullivan dominated the final and took a 7–2 lead into the evening session, making breaks of 116 and 105 to see his tally of career centuries stand at 999. O'Sullivan rounded off a 10–4 victory by scoring his 1000th century break in the winning frame, becoming the first player in snooker history to reach this milestone. At the Tour Championship, O'Sullivan eased through Stuart Bingham 9−3, then came back from 6−2 down and 8−5 down to defeat Judd Trump 10−9 in a match that went to the final black. In a rematch of the Players Championship final 2 weeks before, O'Sullivan defeated Neil Robertson 13−11 to claim his 36th ranking title, equalling Stephen Hendry's record. This win also catapulted O'Sullivan back to world number one, 9 years since he last held the spot.
But the changes have made FIFA more attacking, fun, welcoming, and attractive, and ultimately it's a stronger experience." PlayStation Official Magazines Ben Wilson scored it 9 out of 10, writing "Whatever your thoughts on annual sports games, you really mustn't miss this one." Eurogamer's Tom Bramwell gave the PlayStation 4 version the same score he had given to the PlayStation 3 version; 8 out of 10. He wrote writing "FIFA 14 on next-gen is the best version of the game." Game Informer's Matthew Kato was somewhat disappointed, feeling the game didn't advance on the PlayStation 3 version enough. He scored it 7.75 out of 10, writing "Even with the ability to only pay $10 to upgrade an existing copy of the game, I don't think there's enough here to do that." GameSpot's Danny O'Dwyer scored the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions 8 out of 10, writing "this is the quintessential version of FIFA 14. It brings a level of authenticity never before seen in the genre and sets new standards for player control and stadium atmosphere. Too often have we seen football games flounder in the transition to new consoles, but FIFA 14 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One is a step above its peers.
On 8 June 2015, Liverpool announced that they had agreed on personal terms with Ings, subject to a medical, as well as a developmental fee due to Burnley for players under 24, to be negotiated between two clubs or determined by a tribunal. Under tribunal the fee would be decided by the Professional Football Compensation Committee. On 28 April 2016, the saga was finally settled. Liverpool would pay Burnley a record fee for a tribunal hearing: £6.5 million up front, with an extra £1.5 million in player performance-related bonuses. Burnley later gained an additional £3.6m due to a clause which saw them get 20% of the £18m Liverpool received from selling Ings to Southampton. Ings made his competitive debut on 29 August 2015 in a 3–0 defeat against West Ham at Anfield. He made his European debut for the club on 17 September in the UEFA Europa League group stage match against Bordeaux, as a substitute for Divock Origi in a 1–1 draw. Three days later, he replaced Christian Benteke at half time and within three minutes scored his first Liverpool goal in a 1–1 draw against Norwich City. On 4 October 2015, he opened a draw of the same score against Everton in the Merseyside derby.
Barnes played one Test before the war – at the Oval in 1938 – so hardly rates as a pre-war player even though he made his first class debut in 1936. He was a back-foot strokeplayer known for his off- side cuts and drives before the war, but so improved his on-side play that Alec Bedser changed his bowling grip so as to avoid bowling in-swingers at his legs.pp7-8, Alec Bedser, May's Men in Australia, The M.C.C. Tour 1958–59, Stanley Paul, 1959p63, Swanton It is as an eccentric that he is best remembered, playing in Don Bradman's testimonial match using a miniature bat, serving drinks in a state match wearing a lounge suit instead of whites and leaping over the turnstiles at the MCG. In the Second Test in 1946–47 he threw away his wicket when he reached 234 so that he would make the same score as his captain.p63, Swanton He was dropped from the Australian team because of his antics, and unsuccessfully took the case to court. Barnes made 846 runs (70.50) against England in the 1940s and his opening partner Arthur Morris 1,199 (79.93), but Morris' Test average suffered after facing the powerful England attacks of the 1950s.
Manchester United went on to win the Premier League title in 2002–03, and Forlán scored six goals to make him the club's third best-scoring striker that season after Ruud van Nistelrooy and Ole Gunnar Solskjær. At the start of the 2003–04 season, Forlán played seven Premier League games without scoring. This run was broken on 25 October, when he equalised the score to 1–1 in the 45th minute of a home match versus Fulham, a game which United lost 3–1. Forlán then scored a goal in his three subsequent matches in three different competitions, starting with an extra- time goal in an away League Cup game at Leeds United which Manchester United won 3–2. This was followed by the opener in a 3–0 home Premier League victory over Portsmouth and a sixth-minute goal in a win by the same score over Rangers in the Champions League. In his next Champions League game, he scored the 85th-minute winner for United over Panathinaikos in a 1–0 away victory. On 6 December 2003, Forlán scored two injury-time goals as Manchester United beat Aston Villa 4–0 at home in the Premier League. These were Forlán's last Premier League goals despite him playing 10 more league games over the season.
In 1999–2000 the club reached the final of the FA Trophy for a second time, losing 3–2 to Kingstonian in one of the last matches played at the old Wembley Stadium. They were relegated to the Southern League Premier Division at the end of the 2000–01 season, but won the division the following season, earning promotion back to the Football Conference. However, they finished bottom of the Conference in 2002–03 and were relegated again, this time of the Premier Division of the Isthmian League. A ninth-place finish in 2003–04 saw the club placed in the new Conference North for the 2004–05 season. A fourth-place finish led to them qualifying for the promotion play-offs, in which they beat Droylsden 2–1 in the semi-finals before losing 3–2 to Altrincham in the final. In 2006–07 the club were Conference North runners-up, but lost to 4–2 on aggregate Farsley Celtic in the play-off semi-finals. The following season saw them win the Conference North, earning promotion to the Conference National. In the 2008–09 FA Cup Kettering reached the fourth round for a second time; after beating Lincoln City 2–1 in a first round replay and Notts County by the same score in a second round replay, the club defeated Eastwood Town in the third round.
