Fagesia is a small, subglobular ammonite (suborder Ammonitina) belonging to the vascoceratid family of the Acanthocerataceae that lived during the Turonian stage of the Late Cretaceous, 92-88 Ma ago. The shell of Fagesia is about 9.5 cm (3.47 in) in diameter, typically with blunt umbilical tubercles from which spring 2 or three ribs each, but which are lost in the late growth stage. The suture is ammonitic with long spikey lobes and saddles with rounded subelements.

The Richter Glacier is a low gradient coastal glacier located west of the Scott Nunataks on the northern side of Edward VII Peninsula. The feature saddles with the Butler Glacier and flows north-west to the sea where it forms a small tongue. The glacier and tongue are depicted on the map of the Byrd Antarctic Expedition, 1928–30. The map indicates that the landing party from the Kainan Maru (Shirase) traversed up this glacier to the summit of the Scott Nunataks in January 1912.

Catherine Hardwicke's 2006 film The Nativity Story shows a field of maize in a Nazareth farming scene. Maize is native to Mesoamerica, not to the Middle East, and in pre-Columbian times was grown only in the Americas. The use of maize in this film is an anatopism as well as an anachronism. The same anatopism appears in the first part ("The Warrior Pharaohs") of a three- part 2002 PBS documentary series on "Egypt's Golden Empire" depicting the history of ancient Egypt's New Kingdom: ears of maize corn are shown in a scene recreating the battle and siege of Megiddo in the 15th century BCE. Ridley Scott's 2000 film, Gladiator, set in 180 CE, features Roman soldiers riding horses using saddles with stirrups.
