Rodéo, written and drawn by Morris, is an album containing three stories from serial publication in Spirou magazine during 1948-49, namely Grand rodéo ("Grand Rodeo"), Lucky Luke à Desperado City ("Lucky Luke in Desperado City") and La ruée vers l'or de Buffalo Creek ("The Buffalo Creek Gold Rush"). Together they were released as the second Lucky Luke hardcover album in 1949, and in English by Cinebook as the 54th in 2015.

On arriving in Albany, Western Australia in September 1892, Carnegie and Douglas learned of Arthur Bayley's discovery of gold at Coolgardie, and immediately decided to leave the ship and join the gold rush. Together, they prospected around Coolgardie for a number of months, with little success. Eventually, Douglas left the field to raise finances in order for them to continue prospecting. Carnegie continued prospecting, joining the rush to Kalgoorlie after Paddy Hannan's discovery of gold there.

After the NWA World Historic Welterweight Championship loss Matt Taven turned "face" (good guy) when he saved Volador Jr. after he was attacked by Rush, together the two chased Rush from the ring. Over the subsequent weeks Volador Jr. and Matt Taven build a rivalry with Rush and his partner Bárbaro Cavernario that became the main event of CMLL's biggest show of 2018, the CMLL 85th Anniversary Show. Rush and Bárbaro Cavernario won the tag team Lucha de Apuestas, or bet match, when Taven attacked Volador Jr., forcing both Volador Jr. and Taven to be shaved bald as a result.

Westland was originally a part of Canterbury Province, administered from Christchurch in the East coast. The booming population as a result of the gold rush, together with the difficulty of travel and communication across the Southern Alps, led first to the creation of a special Westland County, then the formal separation of Westland from Canterbury to form the short-lived Westland Province (1873–1876). Westland Province also included what is now the southern portion of Grey District with the provincial boundary at the Grey and Arnold rivers. Greymouth proper was in Westland Province, Cobden, on the north bank of the Grey River, was in Nelson Province .

He won the silver medal in the mixed bobsleigh- skeleton team event at the 2008 FIBT World Championships in Altenberg, Germany. Born in Humboldt, Saskatchewan, Rush made his first breakthroughs in bobsleigh during the 2009–10 Bobsleigh World Cup winning the opening four-man event in Park City, Utah. Rush also finished third at the four-man event in Cesana, Italy, all of which contributed to his current ranking of third in the four-man event. Rush, together with Lascelles Brown, tied for the victory with André Lange at the two-man event in St-Moritz; this was their first victory and podium in the two-man.

In 1885 the explorer Archibald Meston described the Barron Falls in flood where the raging waters "rush together like wild horses as they enter the straight in the dread finish of their last race ... (where) the currents of air created by the cataract waved the branches of the trees hundreds of feet overhead ... the rock shook like a mighty steamer tumbling with the vibrations of the screw." In 1935, the waters of the Barron River were harnessed in the Barron Gorge Hydroelectric Power Station to generate Queensland's first hydroelectric power. Two hundred metres from the base of the Barron Falls an underground power station was carved into the cliff face. Water was delivered through pipes to drive the turbines, two 1200 kW turbo- alternators.

Together with Candy de Rouge he produced two albums. Well known songs like “Ring of Ice“, “25 Lovers”, “Destiny” and “The Power of Love” stayed in the Charts up to 30 weeks.LA Times 1985 the album “Jennifer Rush” was in the German charts in second place. In the following year the album “Movin” reached first place and became album of the year. Both LPs were on the first and second chart position at the same time and have been successfully published in 16 different countries worldwide.
