The Vengo, or Babungos, are an ethnic group of about 14,000 people who are resident in the anglophone Northwest Province of Cameroon. They live predominantly in the region of a village which is also called Vengo or "Babungo". All heavy vehicles are obliged to take Sidoarjo Eastern Ringroad. After meeting in Tenggulunan village, Route 1 runs southward and intersects with railway line some 3.4 km later. Porong Arterial Road intersects with Route 1 nearby, and most traffic between Sidoarjo and Malang takes the arterial road in order to avoid traffic jam in Porong. After the intersection, Route 1 runs parallel with the railway and Sidoarjo mudflow.

The motorway regulations end just before the entrance to the city at the Prince Moulay Abdellah sports complex. In 2016 the Rabat Ringroad was completed and then the road is start/end at this junction. Originally the motorway regulations also applied to the section west of Aïn Harrouda, through the Casablanca metropolitan area as far as Hay Hassani. These were removed in 1995 an 80 km/h speed limit was imposed on this section.

Den Dam is located in the northern part of Antwerp. On the north side it is bordered by the Slachthuislaan (the Antwerp inner ringroad), by an old disused railroad bedding on the south. It stretches all the way from "de Schijnpoort" in the east to "het Eilandje" on the western side. As such it is isolated from other areas in town, causing residents to regard themselves somewhat as outsiders compared to other Antwerp inhabitants.

The Magazine seen from the west The Magazine Gateway (aka The Magazine and also called Newarke Gateway) is a Grade I listed building in Leicester. Now a solitary landmark alongside Leicester ringroad, it was originally the main gateway of a walled enclosure built around 1400, giving access to the religious precinct of The Newarke. The vaulted archway was open to traffic until 1905. The gatehouse rooms were variously used as a porter's lodge, guest accommodation, prison, militia building, and regimental museum.

Construction of this development began after approval from the Blaby District Council in 1994. It covers most of a wedge of land between the M1 Motorway on its western side and the A563 ringroad on the east, with the established community of Braunstone West is on its north side. It is neighboured to the south by the Meridian industrial and commercial development. A Community Centre to serve this housing estate was opened in October 2010; this is maintained by Braunstone Town Council.

The river island, with an area of about , was first mentioned as Der Sandtwerder ("Sand Ait") in 1704. Also called Cladower Sandwerder after the opposite village of Kladow, the island in the mid 19th century was a deserted place, overgrown with shrubs and a few trees. In 1882, the island was purchased by Wilhelm Wessel, a wealthy inventor and manufacturer of kerosene lamps, for a sum of 9,000 Marks. He ordered extensive landscaping, built an access ringroad, subdivided the area and offered the lots for sale.

When the line was opened in 1912, SB built a passenger Station North of the Old town Center, called Sursee-Stadt. The Station was connected to the SBB Olten-Lucerne Railway over a wide curve through the Kleinfeld into the northern End of Sursee SBB where the Trains from Triengen terminated. The Station Sursee-Stadt was served until the construction of the N2 to Lucerne in 1978. The motorway connection Sursee called for the construction of a Northern Ringroad Ringstrasse Nord through the Bifang.

Newly built Pulo Gebang Bus Terminal, which is arguably the largest of its kind, also located in this area. The Cakung Drain is a flood canal that begins from Cakung, starting at the confluence of Cakung River and Buaran river, flows to the north, and flows out to the Jakarta Bay via Cilincing Administrative Village in Cilincing Subdistrict of the city of North Jakarta.

Thurnby Lodge is an estate in eastern Leicester, Leicestershire, England. Roughly, it consists of the area inside the city boundary which is north of the Uppingham Road, east of the A563 outer ringroad, and south of the Scraptoft Lane. Since the core area around Thurncourt Road is a council estate with an average reputation, many, particular those around the western and southern fringe, would disassociate their area from Thurnby Lodge. It is near but not part of Thurnby (to the south-east), after which it is named.

The main form of public transport in Betzenhausen are trams of the Stadtbahnlinie 1 and Linie 3, the latter only running to the east tip of the district. Through its location at the edge of the western Ringroad of Freiburg as well as a feeder road, Betzenhausen can be accessed via two motorways. In the eastern area of Bischofslinde, a government service center was erected in 2000, incorporating the Police department of Freiburg, the chemical and veterinary investigation office and the new governments presidium Freiburg.

Starting in the south of Basingstoke, Hampshire, it runs west, forming the western side of the Basingstoke ringroad, before swinging north to Tadley and then enters Berkshire. It passes the gates of the Atomic Weapons Establishment at Aldermaston, before passing through the village of Aldermaston itself and then joining the A4 at Aldermaston Wharf. After approximately north-east, the A340 runs further north to Pangbourne, to the west of Reading. This section of the road is thought to follow the Roman road from Calleva Atrebatum (about to the south).

Biebricher Allee towards city Biebricher Allee is a major arterial road in Wiesbaden, Germany, running from Ringroad near central station at the north end, south through the suburb of Südost and then towards and through Biebrich. Shortly before the south end there are exits towards Autobahn 66, which crosses Biebricher Allee under a bridge. The street is with the Schiersteiner Straße, Mainzer Straße and Ringstraße the busiest southern arterial road in Wiesbaden and is often congested in the peak-hour traffic. The avenue has a length of approximately 2,700 metres.

The vast majority of the motorway was built in the 1990s to relieve the congested RN1 between Paris and the Côte d'Opale (Boulogne and Calais). An 8km southern extension between l'Isle-Adam and Attainville to a junction with the Paris ringroad N104 (Francilienne) opened in 2020. Between Amblainville and Boulogne it is operated by the Société des Autoroutes du Nord et de l'Est de la France (SANEF) and is tolled. From Boulogne to the Belgian border the road is managed by the Direction Départementale de l'Équipement (DDE), which does not impose a toll.

The Megyeri Bridge, previously known as the Northern M0 Danube bridge, is a cable-stayed bridge that spans the River Danube between Buda and Pest, respectively the west and east sides of Budapest, the capital of Hungary. It is an important section of the M0 ringroad around Budapest. The bridge cost 63 billion forints (approx. US$ 300M) to build and was officially opened on September 30, 2008; however, the National Transport Authority of Hungary has only issued temporary permits because of disagreement among suburban cities surrounding the bridge.

Lefortovo Tunnel () is a road tunnel in the Lefortovo District in Moscow, Russia, opened in 2003. It carries seven lanes of the Third Ring Road. At long, it is the fifth longest in-city tunnel of Europe (after the M30 RingRoad tunnels in Madrid at , Blanka tunnel complex in Prague at , Södra länken in Stockholm at , and the Dublin Port Tunnel at ). The Third Ring Road was originally planned for a surface alignment across the historic district of Lefortovo; however, public outcry from local residents blocked these plans, and the tunnel was built instead.

Old house in Pavlovo Pavlovo () is a southern neighbourhood of Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. Part of the Vitosha municipality, it borders Buxton Neighbourhood to the northeast, Tsar Boris III Boulevard to the northwest, the Sofia ringroad (in this section known as the Nikola Petkov Boulevard) to the south and the Buxton Boulevard to the east. Pavlovo features mostly low - to mid-rise residential architecture, with houses and small blocks of flats dominating the skyline. The 5th Primary School and the 157th High School César Vallejo serve the neighbourhood.

In 1938, the Berlin Autobahn ringroad – now Bundesautobahn 10 – was dedicated, and now serves cities and towns around Berlin, including Königs Wusterhausen. The Grogol passes through Desa Sukadamai and Desa Kencana. After crossing Jakarta Outer Ringroad (Jalan Tol Lingkar Luar Jakarta) it follows parallel to and just east of Route 12. At there is an overflow channel that goes west to the Pasanggrahan River.

Fosse Shopping Park is one of Britain's biggest out-of-town shopping parks and it is situated in Enderby parish, in Blaby district, on the southern edge of the city of Leicester, England. The retail park is in an area of mixed industrial and commercial development, about half a mile from Junction 21 of the M1, where it meets the M69. Junction 21 also connects the M1 with the A5460 (Narborough Road), from the centre of Leicester, and Leicester's main ringroad, the A563. As of 2016, it is one of "about twenty" retail parks owned by the Crown Estate.

The Lyulin motorway (, ) was a motorway in Bulgaria, that provided a link between the western arc of the Sofia ringroad and the Daskalovo interchange, at the town of Pernik, where it merged with Struma motorway (A3). The total length of the motorway was around , which made it the shortest motorway in Bulgaria. It ran through mountainous terrain and needed several tunnels and many viaducts in order to avoid ecological, environmental and terrain issues. On 8 August 2006, a contract for the construction of the motorway was signed with the Turkish consortium Mapa Cengiz for 137,381,785 euro.

Buxton (, Bakston) is a south-western neighbourhood of Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. Part of Vitosha municipality, it lies between the Buxton Brothers (Bratya Buxton) Boulevard, the Tsar Boris III Boulevard and the Sofia ringroad adjacent to Boyana. The neighbourhood was named after the brothers Charles and Noel Buxton, British public figures and prominent advocates of the Bulgarian position on the Macedonian Question in the Balkan Wars and World War I. The central boulevard of the neighbourhood is also named after the brothers. Buxton features mostly single-family houses and mid- to high-rise residential architecture from the 60s–80s.

The A991 previously formed a complete dual-carriageway circle of the city centre. However, the southern section of the ringroad, where it is named South Marketgait, has undergone major reconstruction as part of the city's waterfront redevelopment scheme. Previously, the A991 met the A85 at the Riverside roundabout, beside Dundee Railway Station; and just to the east, the A92 at a grade-separated junction at the northern terminus of the Tay Road Bridge. As of 2015, this has been replaced by a grid scheme of streets, with the east and westbound carriageways of the A991 now separate streets.

Thurncourt is bounded by the wards of Evington to the south, and Humberstone & Hamilton to the north. Roughly, it consists of the area inside the city boundary which is north of the Uppingham Road, east of the A563 outer ringroad, and south of the Scraptoft Lane. The area south of the main shops on Thurncourt Road, towards the parallel railway embankment, was originally mainly unlandscaped country land with a natural stream running through it. The stream divides at a point opposite Thurncourt Road shops into two further tributaries, one which continues on towards the city and the other taking a route southwards under tunnels beneath the railway embankment.

Flagship stores followed; Woolco in 1975 (now Llewelyn Walk), Sainsbury's in 1976 (relocated in 1994, original site now Asda) and Marks and Spencer in 1977 (closed in 2019). The bingo hall in Monmouth Walk was the last building to be built in 1981 before the centre was sold to Ladbrokes in 1985. Transport links improved by the re-opening of Cwmbran Railway Station in 1986 and Cwmbran Drive in 1988, allowing the centre to develop outside the original ringroad. In the 1990s, Lockgate Retail Park opened to the west of the centre, on derelict land once used by Guest, Keen & Nettlefold, and Aldi and Lidl opened in Forgehammer.

View of Junction 6 of the ring road Coventry ring road forms a complete dual- carriageway loop around the city centre of Coventry, with the designation A4053 in the Great Britain road numbering scheme. The road's circuit encompasses the old and new Coventry Cathedrals, Coventry University, shopping areas such as the Upper and Lower Precincts, West Orchards and Cathedral Lanes, the medieval Spon Street and the Coventry Skydome. Being a complete ring road, it does not have unique start or end points. The junctions are numbered, however, starting with junction 1, the road's only at grade junction and the northernmost point on the ringroad.

Jakarta Outer Ringroad 2 (Indonesian: Jalan Tol Lingkar Luar Jakarta 2) or JORR 2 is an under-construction toll road circling the Greater Jakarta area, running roughly parallel with the Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR 1) in Indonesia. This toll road will connect Soekarno-Hatta International Airport to Cilincing, crossing West Jakarta, Tangerang, South Tangerang, Depok, Bogor Regency, Bekasi Regency, Bekasi city and North Jakarta. It is expected to be able to relieve the traffic of other toll roads in the Greater Jakarta area. As of December 2019, only 11,135 kilometers (Kunciran - Serpong) has been operated, targeted to be fully operational by end of 2020.

It is now largely offices, although the Leicester Museum & Art Gallery makes a strong impact. The area inside the ringroad has two large shopping malls – Highcross Leicester (first opened as The Shires on the northern side of High Street and opening in 1991 with a large extension opened on 4 September 2008), and the Haymarket Shopping Centre (opened in 1974, on the site of the old hay market), both facing onto the Haymarket Memorial Clock Tower area. On the opposite side of Humberstone Gate to the Haymarket is a new building, with no communal space, occupied by a variety of retailers, that incorporates the famous Lewis's tower from the previous department store on the site. The University evolved from a college diploma program AMIKOM Yogyakarta to become an undergraduate and post graduate program. Unit 1 Building Unit 2 and 3 Building In 1993 the first 44 students enrolled at the Department of Information Management. A year later AMIKOM achieved listed status by the Minister of Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia No. 084/D/O/1994 dated October 11, 1994. Programming Lab Lab Experiment Before, AMIKOM operated one campus in Wolter Mongonsidi Street and one in North RingRoad Street in Yogyakarta. Beginningin academic year 1998/1999 AMIKOM converted a shop building into an integrated campus in the North Ring Road, with 9 classrooms, 1 academic service, 1 library, occupying 2 floors.

Amsterdam was intended in 1932 to be the hub, a kind of Kilometre Zero, of the highway system of the Netherlands, with freeways numbered One to Eight planned to originate from the city. The outbreak of the Second World War and shifting priorities led to the current situation, where only roads A1, A2, and A4 originate from Amsterdam according to the original plan. The A3 to Rotterdam was cancelled in 1970 in order to conserve the Groene Hart. Road A8, leading north to Zaandam and the A10 Ringroad were opened between 1968 and 1974. Besides the A1, A2, A4 and A8, several freeways, such as the A7 and A6, carry traffic mainly bound for Amsterdam.

There is also a traffic roundabout, called Rotunda Dr. Sun Yat-sen (孫逸仙博士圓形地) joins two sections of the Avenida Dr. Sun Yat-sen (Taipa) as well as the Avenida de Guimarães (基馬拉斯大馬路). A street in Medan, Indonesia also named in honor of him, named as Jalan Sun Yat-Sen, it is also including a 16th floor hotel nearby named as Citi International Sun Yat-Sen Hotel. Yixian (逸仙), another name of Sun Yat-sen equivalent to the common English version of "Yat-sen", is also a popular road name. In Shanghai, Yixian Road connects the Inner and Outer Ringroad expressways.

A science and technology park, in conjunction with Bristol University and University of the West of England, named Bristol & Bath Science Park, has been built on an area of land adjacent to the M4 motorway and the A4174 ringroad. Construction of the £300 million Bristol and Bath Science Park began in early 2010. A link road connecting the M4 to the Avon ring road (A4174) has now been considered a necessary addition to the area, to accommodate the increase in traffic due to the science park. It was opened in September 2011 and is expected to create 6,000 new jobs within the science and technology sector, when it is completed in 2020.

The Stade des Ponts Jumeaux (the "Twin Bridges Stadium") was a rugby union stadium, inaugurated on 24 November 1907, in the Ponts Jumeaux district of Toulouse, south-western France.Rugby Nomads The land was purchased by the embryonic Stade Toulousain rugby team – with financial assistance from city notables – then headed by a law professor from the University of Toulouse, Ernest Wallon. The stadium, nicknamed Le Wallon, had a capacity of 6500 and hosted many internationals during its existence. In the early 1980s, the land on which the stadium stood was compulsorily purchased to make way for the Toulouse ringroad and the Stade Toulousain moved from the Ponts Jumeaux to a new stadium at Sept-Deniers, later renamed Stade Ernest-Wallon.

A commemorative plaque to thank the Royal Air Force for their help in mounting Operation Manna was presented in May 1980 by Dr W Scholten, Minister of Defence of the Netherlands and is displayed in the Royal Air Force Museum, Hendon, England. Operation Manna Commemoration Plaque On 28 April 2007, British Air Commodore Andrew James Wray Geddes was honoured when a hiking trail in the Rotterdam district of Terbregge, the Air Commodore Geddespath, was named after him. This path goes past the Manna/Chowhound monument in the soundwall of the northern ringroad around Rotterdam. The official unveiling of the plaque was performed by Lieutenant-Commander Angus Geddes RN (son of Andrew Geddes) from England and Warrant Officer David Chiverton from Australia (grandson of Geddes).

In 1947 the architect and town planner Frederick Gibberd was appointed to create a masterplan to redevelop the bomb damaged town centre. The redevelopment, which continued until the 1960s included the features typical of town planning from that era, including a new ringroad, indoor shopping centre, administrative centre and library. Nuneaton continued to expand in the latter 20th century. In the early postwar years the need arose for low-cost housing, and in response to this around 2,500 council houses were built during the 1950s, the largest such development was at Camp Hill, where 1,400 new houses were built by 1956, while around 1,100 new council houses were built at new estates at Hill Top, Caldwell and Marston Lane by 1958.

In 2011, plans to build a tram system were put forward but rejected, yet the popular opinion is strongly in favor of establishing one. North Nicosia has seen the construction of new highways and roads recently to solve its traffic problem, including the construction of two ringroads in the 2010s. One of these links the Metehan area and indirectly the Dereboyu region to Alayköy and indirectly the highway to Morphou, and was completed and opened to public traffic in 2014. The other one, the Nicosia Northern Ringroad, is currently under construction and will connect D-30 from Famagusta to Morphou directly to D-25 from Kyrenia, preventing the entry of vehicles from Kyrenia going to the airport and from Famagusta to Kyrenia, Gönyeli or Morphou into the city.

Most traffic travelling in the North Coast follows the ringroad instead of entering the Downtown Demak. At an intersection located some 650 m northeast, Route 1 turns to north following Jl. Sultan Hadiwijaya for 1.7 km. After a junction near Demak Heroes Cemetery, the route is carried by Jl. Pemuda until intersecting with Jl. Sultan Patah 960 m eastward. Continuing 3.5 km northeast, it intersects with Demak Ring Road, and proceeds to the northeast again for three kilometers before having a three-way junction in Trengguli Village with a road connecting Trengguli with Jepara Regency. Passing through the subdistricts of Mijen, Gajah, and Karanganyar, Route 1 reaches Kudus Regency after crossing over Serang River 13 km northeastward. Around 550 m from Demak-Kudus border northeastward, Route 1 intersects with Kudus Outer Ring Road in Jati.

Ecological activists as well as scientists such as botanists, zoologists, ecology experts, hydrologists experts on peat bog plant cover and the European Commission are of the opinion that the Rospuda Valley is endangered by the plans of construction of the Augustów ringroad. If the project is realized, the wildlife will be damaged not only by the expressway itself, but also by the construction process. The noise and pollution inherent in construction work would harm the breeding grounds of various bird species, some of which are protected, as well as some endangered plant species Furthermore, construction of the overpass may disturb the fragile water systems in the valley.

Although pubs rarely came onto the market, the demolition of a number of older ones during construction of the Leicester inner ringroad in the sixties allowed the company to build new ones such as the Shakespeare in Braunstone and the Firs at Wigston. In 1967 the company employed almost 700 staff and operated 125 pubs. Like his father Tony had a keen interest in aviation and in 1966 he founded the Helicopter Club of Great Britain and opened a heliport at Ratcliffe. The Airman's Rest hotel in Leicester Forest East was designed to welcome fliers and equipped with a heliport. In 1979 the company bought 54 hectares at Grove Farm triangle and phase I of the new brewery -named Castle acres after the Castle street premises – was opened on 29 March 1985 by local MP Nigel Lawson.

According to HMDA's survey, altogether 33 radial roads will be required to ensure smooth traffic flow from the inner to outer ring road. More construction of radial roads will be coming up in the forthcoming months, and according to HMDA on the completion of the targeted 158 km radial roads, a much smoother linkage between the inner and outer ring road is expected. As the total project cost comes to Rs. 2,500 crores as against available funds of only 380 crores loaned by JICA, the works will be executed phasewise with support from other agencies like the Roads and Building Department, Municipal Administration, and urban development departments. The proposed 159 km long outer ringroad project envisages to ease the traffic jams around the cities and encompasses towns like, Patancheru – Shamshabad- Hayathnagar- Medchal- Patancheru also linking other National Highways, State Highways, MDRs and other roads.
