In 1966 the Rotunda was closed, and the staff working in Island Pond was reduced. The Canadian National continued to operate freight service to Portland until 1988; the following year, the line was sold to the St. Lawrence & Atlantic Railroad, which provides freight service to this day. The station building has been reutilized by a local bank and the town's historical society.

In June 2016, the Diesel Plant was sold to real estate developer Michael R. Rechter. That's Warner Bros.! premiered on September 11, 1995 as part of Kids' WB's inaugural season, on their weekday lineup alongside classic episodes of Animaniacs. The show's title sequence reutilized the opening for the Fox Kids version of Merrie Melodies Starring Bugs Bunny & Friends, now scored with a jazzy rendition of "Merrily We Roll Along" and with a different ending showing the show's title. 65 episodes were created featuring three cartoons in each, with a "Hip Clip" (a holdover from Merrie Melodies) placed in between the second and third shorts to fill up any remaining time.

Cardiac surgery was implemented in the hospital in 1991 in tandem with angioplasty to alleviate the backlog of surgeries and reduce the wait time for British Columbians. The cardiac surgery program performed 250 cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) procedures in the first year. However, the white inner parts of a baguette are thought to be unhealthy and will regularly be thrown away, and the bread is frequently associated with constipation. Algerian breads, on the other hand, are considered more nutritive, rich and tasteful and seldom go to waste. Because French breads harden over night or become chewy when put away in plastic bags, it is hard to find usage for them, so they are thrown away with more frequency than Algerian breads that can be reheated or reutilized as edible food utensils or even bird feed.

Destroyed in 1999, the BZ Fill Facility filled munitions with the agent BZ, a hallucinogen. In 2003, NSCMP began demolition of the former Pine Bluff Integrated Binary Production Facilities (PB IBPF), designed to produce binary chemicals and fill binary chemical weapons. These weapons were designed to mix two non-lethal chemicals to form a chemical agent in flight to a target. The DF Production/M20 Canister Fill and Close Facility was the only facility operated. From 1988 to 1990 it produced the binary precursor methylphosphonic difluoride (DF), inserting the chemical into coffee can-sized M20 canisters for use in the M687 155 mm Binary Artillery Projectile. The BLU-80/B Bigeye Bomb Fill Facility, QL Production Facility and DC Production Facility never operated, and all were demolished. The final remaining PB IBPF building, intended to fill binary munitions for the Multiple Launch Rocket System, but never used for that purpose, was reutilized as the Pine Bluff Binary Destruction Facility (PB BDF), to neutralize the binary precursor chemicals DF and QL. After neutralization was completed in October 2006, demolition of the building commenced. Completed on Dec. 28, 2006, it marked the end of the PB IBPF demolition and the last former chemical warfare production facility destroyed in the United States.
