Taufua started 2013 with a bang by scoring 7 tries in the first 5 matches, including a hat-trick in Manly's 32-0 win over the Newcastle Knights at Brookvale Oval in round 2.< In April 2014, Taufua earned his first representative selection when he played on the for NSW City Origin in their 18-12 loss to NSW Country Origin in Coffs Harbour.< Taufua's form on the wing for Manly also saw him spoken as a possible selection for New South Wales in the State of Origin series, though he ultimately missed selection. Taufua played on the wing in Manly's 26-18 Grand Final loss to the Sydney Roosters scoring the first try in the match.

Brett Hodgson (born 12 February 1978) is an Assistant Coach at the Wests Tigers in the NRL and an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s, 2000s and 2010s. A New South Wales State of Origin representative goal-kicking , he played his club football in the NRL for the Western Suburbs Magpies, the Parramatta Eels and the Wests Tigers, with whom he won the 2005 NRL premiership. He played in the Super League for the Huddersfield Giants, with whom he won the 2009 Man of Steel Award, and the Warrington Wolves, with whom he won both the Challenge Cup and the Lance Todd Trophy. Hodgson also gained representative selection for the Exiles and City NSW.
Paul Quinn (born 18 April 1972) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played for Parramatta, Penrith and South Sydney in the 1990s. A St Gregory's College product, Quinn earned Australian schoolboys representative selection in 1990 and was signed by Parramatta in what was reported to be one of the most lucrative contracts ever offered to a schoolboy player. Quinn, a back rower, was unable to establish himself in Parramatta's first-grade team, with most of his appearances coming off the bench, and crossed to Penrith for the 1993 NSWRL season. In 1994 he joined South Sydney and was a member of the team which upset the Brisbane Broncos to win the Challenge Cup in the 1994 pre season.
Patrick's first Australian representative selection was as coxswain to the Australian senior women's eight in 2005. Muybridge's zoopraxiscope and disc The Eadweard Muybridge gallery is devoted to the pioneering photographer (1830–1904) who was born and died in Kingston. It shows a representative selection of material he bequeathed to the museum, including over 2,000 glass magic lantern slides and 67 glass zoopraxiscope discs, as well as equipment used by Muybridge during public lectures he gave in the US and Europe in the 1880s and 1890s. As at 17 August 2007, Jarvisfield's remaining estate is a rural cultural landscape containing the core of the original farm grant, the third Antill house constructed on it, a sandstone stable outbuilding and extensive grounds containing considerable numbers of mature exotic and native trees planted by the Antills. These early plantings give a representative selection of common exotic and some locally native tree species often used on the Cumberland Plain's early farms. These also include some now very rare plants in NSW, and particularly locally rare in the Sydney Basin, such as Chinese funeral cypress (Cupressus funebris) and American osage orange (Maclura pomifera). Osage oranges are now extremely rare in the Sydney basin - only two other examples are known, at Hambledon Cottage, Parramatta and Muogamarra Nature Reserve, Hornsby.
During his years at Saint Louis University (1937–1944), McLuhan worked concurrently on two projects: his doctoral dissertation and the manuscript that was eventually published in 1951 as a book, titled The Mechanical Bride: Folklore of Industrial Man, which included only a representative selection of the materials that McLuhan had prepared for it. The building of the Berrocal Museum, still in development, hosts in its first wing open to public the Center of Interpretation of Water and Contemporary Art. Through an exhibition dedicated to the artist’s monumental fountains. it proposes a different approach to the works of Berrocal, looking to understand how the mind of an artist uses the poetry and complexity of the liquid element in different ways. Another feature of this exhibition is the lesser known graphical works of the sculptor, a small representative selection that shows the strong relationship of the artist with his homeland, with the landscapes of Villanueva de Algaidas: the young artist started out as a painter, wandering in the fields, honing his passion and work, researching his inspiration among the hills of olive trees, in the faces of people, in the light of this ancient territory.
In a study by Kubelka and Šoštarić from 2011, the reliability of the Croatian Wikipedia was compared to the Croatian Encyclopedia - the Croatian national encyclopedia. Twenty-four reviewers, experts in specific fields, analyzed a representative selection of articles according to the parameters of informativeness, accuracy of presented information, sufficiency, direction and objectivity. Articles were analyzed in 11 thematic categories: arts and culture; history and biographies; medicine and health; technology and applied science; geography; religion; science; mathematics and logic; philosophy; sport and society; and social sciences. Articles were sorted into categories using machine learning techniques, and feature weight statistics were calculated using tf–idf. A total of 500 articles in 250 pairs were randomly chosen and sorted into categories to serve as representative samples. In both samples facts were manually enumerated - 3015 from the Croatian Encyclopedia and 3315 from Croatian Wikipedia.

Site of Nature Conservation Interest (SNCI), Site of Importance for Nature Conservation (SINC) and regionally important geological site (RIGS) are designations used by local authorities in the United Kingdom for sites of substantive local nature conservation and geological value. The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs has recommended the generic term 'local site', which is divided into 'local wildlife site' and 'local geological site'. There are approximately 35,000 local sites, and according to the former Minister for Biodiversity, Jim Knight, they make a vital contribution to delivering the UK and Local Biodiversity Action Plans and the Geodiversity Action Plan, as well as maintaining local natural character and distinctiveness. Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSIs) and local nature reserves (LNRs) have statutory protection, but they are only intended to cover a representative selection of sites, and Local sites are intended to provide comprehensive coverage of sites of nature conservation value.
Tate made his run-on debut for Australia in the end of season Test match against New Zealand at the Westpac Stadium in Wellington. Tate continued his good form in 2003, moving into the Queensland starting side for all 3 State of Origin games, scoring 2 tries in Game 3. He was again selected for Australia in the Anzac Test against New Zealand in Sydney, scoring two tries as Australia defeated the Kiwis 48-6. However, Tate suffered a career- threatening neck injury that has affected him ever since, and his career has only been prolonged with the aid of a special neck brace. His neck injury kept him out of the beginning of the 2004 season, but recovered in time for the Anzac Test, and continued to earn representative selection for both Queensland and Australia. 2005 was a disappointing season for Tate, with further injuries preventing him from playing in the 2005 State of Origin series.
