In the 2020 book Raising Hell: Backstage Tales from the Lives of Metal Legends, Williams stated he looted a pharmacy after the hurricane and "didn't get busted until three days later." Inside the house they could hear gunshots and at one time, upon leaving the apartment, Williams' partner was confronted by a person who attempted to rob her. Williams intervened on her behalf.
Returning home to Queens in late 1985 after their extensive touring, they soon put themselves on lockdown at Chung King studios in Manhattan for three months. In place of producer Smith, a cocky new maverick was brought in: Rick Rubin. Even though Rubin's and Russell's names were on the production marquee, the two non-group members oversaw and added to the music on Raising Hell more than create it. "Rick and Russell got production credit, but we [the group members] really did everything", DMC states.

Baddeley, Gavin. Raising Hell!: The Book of Satan and Rock 'n' Roll Additionally, contributing artists to the genre often defend death metal as little more than an extreme form of art and entertainment, similar to horror films in the motion picture industry. This explanation has brought such musicians under fire from activists internationally, who claim that this is often lost on a large number of adolescents, who are left with the glamorisation of such violence without social context or awareness of why such imagery is stimulating.

The album's success also helped in contributing to Rick Rubin's credibility and repertoire as a record producer. Radio, along with Raising Hell (1986) and Licensed to Ill (1986), would form a trilogy of New York City-based, Rubin-helmed albums that helped to diversify hip-hop. Rubin's production credit on the back cover reads "REDUCED BY RICK RUBIN", referring to his minimalist production style, which gave the album its stripped-down and gritty sound. This style would serve as one of Rubin's production trademarks and would have a great impact on future hip-hop productions.

In order to obtain the Abyss Stone and gain control over the Abyss, the Overlord has to battle Wraiths, the residents of the Abysses, and the fallen heroes.

He toured with the group as Def Jam Records’ de facto in-house photographer on their Licensed to Ill tour in 1987 and Together Forever: Greatest Hits 1983–1991 tour with Run DMC and then again in 1992 on their Check Your Head tour and the 1994 Lollapalooza.Denver, Nate.

The tour did not go well, with Steve Harris claiming that Dickinson would only perform properly for high- profile shows, and that at several concerts, he would only mumble into the microphone. Dickinson denied that he was under-performing, stating that it was impossible to "make like Mr Happy Face if the vibe wasn't right", saying that news of his exit from the band had prevented any chance of a good atmosphere during the tour. He played his farewell show with Iron Maiden on 28 August 1993, which was filmed, broadcast by the BBC, and released on video under the name Raising Hell.
The following track, "My Own Dance", sees the singer addressing the expectations placed upon her and her music. It has been described as a "bold statement about not being the thing people expect, or demand, you to be" which "finds her speaking her mind and making it clear that she's not going to dance for you because she's here to dance for herself". Both "Tonight" and "My Own Dance" were compared to Kesha's debut single "Tik Tok". The "dance-floor inferno" lead single "Raising Hell" features guest vocals by Big Freedia and is a blend of multiple genres including gospel, EDM, country, and bounce.

Hip-hop took off from its roots and the golden age hip hop flourished, with artists such as Eric B. & Rakim, Public Enemy, LL Cool J, Queen Latifah, Big Daddy Kane, and Salt-N-Pepa. Hip Hop became popular in America until the late 1990s, when it went worldwide.
Ardat, portrayed by Sharon Taylor, is a powerful black-eyed demon who hated Belphegor, aware that the other demon wanted to take power in Hell. In "Raising Hell," Ardat is first mentioned by Arthur Ketch when he reveals that he was hired to assassinate Belphegor. Belphegor appears to be unsurprised by Ardat's move and Arthur states that Ardat had called Belphegor "a monstrous threat to humanity." As Belphegor is working with the Winchesters to stop the ghosts and demons who have escaped from Hell, Arthur chooses not to go through with trying to kill Belphegor and assumes that she was wrong or simply lying.
Instead, he sends a bottle of the same expensive scotch he'd brought Dean in "The Raid." In season 15's "Raising Hell," Arthur arrives in Harlan, Kansas after God releases all of the souls in Hell upon the world. After meeting the demon Belphegor, Arthur reveals that he was hired to assassinate Belphegor by the demon Ardat who claims that Belphegor is "a monstrous threat to humanity." As this doesn't seem to be the case, Arthur refrains from harming the demon and assists the Winchesters and Rowena in finding a way to contain the souls, developing a mutual attraction with Rowena in the process.
Favreau said it was the type of character he always wished to portray as an actor himself, describing her as "raising the stakes and raising hell". The writers checked with executive producer Dave Filoni, who had been involved in past Star Wars works, to make sure the Rebel shock trooper position was consistent with the past continuity of the franchise. False rumors had circulated on the Internet about what type of character Cara would be prior to any official announcements about her were made public. Cara Dune was first publicly unveiled during the Star Wars Celebration convention in Chicago on April 14, 2019, along with the character Greef Karga.

For Operation Greif ("Griffin"), Otto Skorzeny successfully infiltrated a small part of his battalion of English-speaking Germans disguised in American uniforms behind the Allied lines. Although they failed to take the vital bridges over the Meuse, their presence caused confusion out of all proportion to their military activities, and rumors spread quickly. Even General George Patton was alarmed and, on 17 December, described the situation to General Dwight Eisenhower as "Krauts ... speaking perfect English ... raising hell, cutting wires, turning road signs around, spooking whole divisions, and shoving a bulge into our defenses." Checkpoints were set up all over the Allied rear, greatly slowing the movement of soldiers and equipment.
Upon its release, All About Tonight received generally positive reviews from most music critics. At Metacritic, which assigns a normalized rating out of 100 to reviews from mainstream critics, the album received an average score of 71, based on 5 reviews, which indicates "generally favorable reviews". Jon Caramanica with The New York Times said that the release is "a variety-pack of country styles" and said he sounded "flirty and convincing" on the release. Thom Jurek with Allmusic gave it a three star rating, saying "Shelton does two things, and he does them extremely well: rowdy, rocking contemporary tunes about raising hell and making romantic mischief, and singing (mostly) believable ballads".
In July 2007, shortly after the release of Overlord there were rumours of a PlayStation 3 port, due to job advertisements at Triumph Studios, which mentioned one position needed "Porting [Xbox 360]/PC code base to [PlayStation 3]". A spokesman for Codemasters however quickly corrected this by stating "We are not porting Overlord to [PlayStation 3]." In February 2008 Codemasters confirmed a PlayStation 3 version of Overlord was in development. Instead of a straight port of the original, the version includes both the original game and its additional downloadable content and expansion on one Blu-ray Disc, under the title Overlord: Raising Hell, released in Q2 2008.
Black Rose started out as ICE back in 1978 when three friends from a School in Saltburn by the Sea decided to form a rock band. The three guys were Steve Bardsley, Marty Rajn and Mark Eason who soon became a four piece after they saw guitarist Kenny Nicholson playing in a local pub and asked him if he wanted to join up with them. Eason left the band citing musical differences and local drummer Charlie Mack was drafted in. As this line-up they recorded their first demo tape at Impulse Studios in Wallsend Newcastle, the home of independent record label Neat Records, which consisted of five songs: "Alright On The Night", "Biker", "Killer", "Loveshock" and "Raising Hell".
In the first ratings period under MacMillan's leadership, KDAY's ratings beat another Los Angeles black AM station, KGFJ, and "began to enjoy a second life as the only rap-friendly station in town and, frankly, in the entire country." KDAY raised awareness about the growing problem of gang violence in Los Angeles. Lee Marshall, known on-air as "King News", gave news and commentaries relevant to the African-American and Hispanic communities, often warning about the troubles caused by gangs. After violence in the stands forced the cancellation of a Run-DMC concert at the Long Beach Arena for the group's Raising Hell tour, KDAY organized a "Day of Peace" on October 9, 1986.
With Bruce Eadie as producer and co-writer, and Peter Miller as film editor, Trombley directed many documentary films of note including The Execution Protocol (1992), of which Vincent Canby of The New York Times said it "is not easy to sit through, but it touches nerves that force a rethinking of essential values. It is exceptionally well done." The Execution Protocol was the first of a trilogy that followed the story of condemned Missouri inmate A. J. Bannister, tracing his childhood, fall into crime, his conviction for a murder he claimed was self-defense, and his execution in 1997. The other films in the series are Raising Hell: The Life of A. J. Bannister (1995) and a death in the family (1999).

However, he reveals to Dean that every door in Hell was opened which means two to three billion ghosts are now loose and in addition, Lucifer's Cage was opened, potentially releasing Michael to wreak havoc. In "Raising Hell," Belphegor continues to aid the Winchesters, Castiel and Rowena in their efforts to contain the escaped ghosts and the failing barrier. At the same time, Arthur Ketch reveals that he has been hired by the demon Ardat to assassinate Belphegor who she calls "a monstrous threat to humanity." In "The Rupture," after the Book of the Damned fails to fix the barrier, Belphegor offers up a solution: Lilith's Crook, a horn created by Lilith to draw the demons and souls of Hell back to her in case they ever fell out of her control.
The song is best known as lyrically formatted for a female vocalist and as such is addressed to a desperate wife and mother who would like to trade her prosaic existence for the jet setting lifestyle the song's narrator has led. The narrator alludes to various hedonistic episodes in her life, concluding that while she's "been to paradise", she's ultimately failed to find self-fulfillment, expressing this with the line, "I've never been to me." There is also an alternative set of lyrics for the song formatted for a male singer, in which the narrator is an elderly man, destined to die the very next day, begging for a dime for a cup of coffee, addressing a younger man who is "raising hell" the way the old man used to do.
Raising Hell is a concert video by the heavy metal band Iron Maiden, filmed on 28 August 1993 at the Pinewood Studios in London, England and broadcast live on pay-per-view television in the United Kingdom and on MTV in North America. The video was originally distributed on VHS and Laserdisc by BMG Special Products in the US and EMI in the rest of the world. It was subsequently released on DVD several years later in the US. The concert was the last to feature vocalist Bruce Dickinson until his return to the band in 1999. The band played on stage in conjunction with horror magician Simon Drake, who ended up "killing" Dickinson in an iron maiden torture device, "amputated" Dave Murray's hands on a table saw and "killed" members of the crew and audience.
The new Overlord (left) and Gnarl (right) The silent protagonist Overlord from the first game is not present in Overlord II, as he was trapped in the Abyss dimension at the end of the expansion, Overlord: Raising Hell. According to developers, the game "massively increases the scope of the original concept" while taking the role of a different Overlord due to the events in the story of Raising Hell, continuing where the last game finished with a new "Roman-inspired" prime foe.
