The Real Junk Food Project (TRJFP) is an organisation that uses food that would otherwise have been discarded from supermarkets, restaurants, and other independent food suppliers to produce meals that are sold on a pay what you want basis. These meals are produced in different pay what you want cafes around the UK. The project was founded by Adam Smith in Leeds in 2013. TRJFP raises awareness of the amount of food waste in the food system. It directly responds to this problem through using waste food in its cafes and other food outlets.

Fishlove is a global photographic campaign that seeks to end unsustainable fishing. The campaign was established in 2009 by actress Greta Scacchi and Brighton restaurant-owner Nicholas Röhl, initially to launch the documentary adaption of The End of the Line. The annual photographs feature celebrities modelling nude, posing with dead endangered sealife as censor bars, to highlight issues around the sourcing and consumption of sealife. The campaign raises awareness of illegal fishing and pollution, and the preservation of marine life through reforms addressing deep-sea bottom trawling or fishing.

Pastor Lee's drop box provides a safe location for children to be placed if parents feel they are unable to care for their child, and wish to give them the opportunity to be adopted. Pastor Lee's work also raises awareness of South Korea's Special Adoption Law, which if revised and addressed, could alleviate the child abandonment crisis. The director, Brian Ivie, was critical in the creation of Kindred Image, a nonprofit organization that addresses child abandonment issues with holistic solutions.

Agoney is an ambassador of Fundación Canaria Carrera por la Vida (the Canary Islands Walk For Life Foundation), a Canary Islands charity which supports and raises awareness of breast cancer. He appeared as the August photo in the 2019 charity calendar for the organisation. In November 2019, Agoney joined the TV presenter Emma García and actress Eva Isanta to front a humorous campaign to encourage early HIV testing in Spain. In May 2020, he sang as part of Rosana Arbelo's charity single "Sin miedo 2020", in aid of the Spanish Red Cross.

Take 3 - A Clean Beach Initiative is a non-profit organisation based on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia. In 2009, two friends marine ecologist, Roberta Dixon-Valk and youth educator, Amanda Marechal developed Take 3 – an idea where a simple action could produce profound consequences. Joining forces with environmentalist, Tim Silverwood, the trio publicly launched Take 3 as an organisation in 2010. Take 3 raises awareness of marine debris, especially plastic, and encourages individuals to take 3 pieces of rubbish before leaving the beach, places near waterways or coastal areas.

The UKOTs are important parts of the UK, not foreign countries. Although small in size, they support far more endemic taxa and other globally important biodiversity than does Britain and Ireland. They are also important for their historical and cultural heritage, both in their own right, and their historical links for UK. However, there is little public awareness, either within UKOTs or in mainland UK, of the biodiversity and cultural importance of the UKOTs, and the challenges they face. UKOTCF raises awareness of the territories and the UK's responsibility to them through its 'Virtual Tours' of the territories.

It was originally created by the UK government in order to facilitate trade and business relations between the United Kingdom and ASEAN. The Day of the African Child has been celebrated on June 16 every year since 1991, when it was first initiated by the OAU Organisation of African Unity. Disaster tourism at Mount Merapi, after the 2010 eruptions Disaster tourism has been defined as the practice of visiting locations at which an environmental disaster, either natural or man-made, has occurred. Although a variety of disasters are the subject of subsequent disaster tourism, the most common disaster tourist sites are the areas surrounding volcanic eruptions. Opinions on the morality and impact of disaster tourism are divided. Advocates of disaster tourism often claim that the practice raises awareness of the event, stimulates the local economy, and educates the public about the local culture, while critics claim that the practice is exploitative, profits on loss, and often mischaracterizes the events in question.

Hope For The Warriors provides aid to veterans in multiple forms, including building or refurbishing homes and providing professional development. It raises awareness of returning veterans by hosting Run For The Warriors in different areas of the United States, and by hosting athletes in Team Hope For The Warriors, who run or handcycle in the Marine Corps Marathon and the New York City Marathon or compete in triathlons, in order to raise money for the non-profit organization.

"But It's Not Fair" draws on the author Aneeta Prems' extensive experience supporting child victims of Forced Marriage and dishonour based crimes through her work with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Government Ministers, the police, survivors and her experiences as a magistrate. The story is written from the view of a young British girl, Vinny, whose friend almost becomes a victim of Forced Marriage. The book is presented in a chatty and easy-to-read style, but it carries some powerful messages. Itach Ma'aki represents the teaching assistants in their struggle for achieving comparable conditions and recognition within the education system. Walking With Our Sisters exhibition in the Shingwauk Auditorium at Algoma University in 2014 The Walking With Our Sisters project was initiated by Métis artist Christi Belcourt to acknowledge the grief families of missing and murdered Indigenous women (MMIW) suffer with, to raises awareness of MMIW and to create opportunities for a discourse in which the issue can be acknowledged across communities in Canada and the United States. This project began in June 2012 with lead organizer Belcourt using social media to invite people to create moccasin tops in memory of Missing and Murdered Women.
