However, he spends several minutes attempting to extricate his foot which is stuck under a seat.

Mouse and Bird are struggling to find assistance in traveling west in an attempt to start a new life. After several failed attempts at hitchhiking, a rock band traveling with a pair of groupies in a recreational vehicle pulls over and allows the girls inside. After the band performs a song, they state that they will not provide them with transportation unless the duo agree to have sexual intercourse with them. They immediately decline as they refuse to be objectified.

He gives the gun to his daughter who is then seen going over near the cash register to retrieve the box of gun cartridges that her father had not known were actually blanks. Hansen pulls over to pick up a hitchhiking Peter, who fled from the carjacking that took place earlier. Throughout the drive Hansen becomes more and more suspicious of Peter's intentions. Peter offends Hansen by suddenly beginning to laugh, and when Peter reaches for his pocket, Hansen shoots.

Arielle slaps him repeatedly and then kisses him. A woman driving by sees Arielle and the broken down truck. She pulls over to help and Arielle pulls out her gun and says they need a place to stay for a night. Elle reveals she follows Arielle online and that she knew who they were before she pulled up. At Elle’s place, Dean asks her why she follows Arielle. Elle explains that her life hasn’t worked out and that people find them empowering.

Ambar commands Badri to find Vaidehi and bring her back so they can punish her. Despite being afraid of Ambar's words, Badri goes to Mumbai to find Vaidehi, where he discovers that she's already moved to Singapore for a flight attendant training program. Badri shows up on Vaidehi's doorstep in Singapore, and kidnaps her, pulling her into his car. On the way, he pulls over and lets her out of the car trunk and they have an emotional yet heated argument.

John throws some of the stolen money at the shop owner, who then tries to choke him as he drives away. John tries to leave alone, but all three reconcile and they all drive away together. Seetha soon realizes that Sivaji is drunk driving and becomes wary of his intentions. Sivaji, under the influence takes a diversion from the route, pulls over in an abandoned area and tries to force himself on Seetha. Vamsi, who was unable to reach Sivaji at his home, tries at the bar he frequents and finds out that Sivaji left already drunk while purchasing another bottle of liquor. Vamsi tries to follow up by driving to places he thinks Sivaji might visit, as he is concerned about his friend.

Four months later, Madison secretly gets a job working with Chelsea, and confides in her that Michael has questioned the paternity of the baby, and has been abusive. Horrified, Chelsea tries to get Madison to go to the police, but Madison refuses and tries to rationalize the situation. One night, Michael and Madison are driving home from dinner, and he is upset and he pulls over. She gets out of the car, telling Michael she is calling an Uber, and he forces her back into the car saying that he won’t live without her.

When they make it to Maryland, Jack becomes aware of the entire plot and formulates a plan to turn over the guns to the FBI and to get his family back. Wes, at this point, has gone his separate way, while Earl decides to stay on until the end. Jack puts the FBI tracking device on the truck that Wes is leaving on and eventually the FBI pulls over the truck to realize it is the wrong one. However, Jack calls Agent Allen Ford (Charles Dutton), who is leading the case on Wes' cell phone.

During a routine job, Oscar discovers that the client is a drug dealer and sees Ong take a handout for the delivery. The duo have a tense discussion on the corruption that shrouds Metro Manila. When Ong pulls over to find a wall to urinate on, Oscar suddenly sees a black Honda Civic pull over with a group of men headed toward Ong's direction. Going against his protocol, he exits the armoured van and follows the gang on foot, only to discover that they are in cahoots with Ong.

Urban Legends by Jan Harold Brunvand describes how jumping to conclusions, along with the techniques of slapstick humour, can be used to create comedy. The example provided by the book (called The Gerbil-Caused Accident) involves a woman driving to her son's show and tell lesson, with a pet gerbil in a box by her side. It escapes and begins to crawl up her pant leg. She pulls over, gets out of the car, and proceeds to jump up and down and shake her leg in order to get rid of the animal.

She then pushes old gifts he had given her into the passengers seat, and pulls over the car, continuing the scene from the beginning of the video. After the car explodes, Carey tears off her necklace in despair, and begins to flail her arms in desperation. The video ends with Carey back at the show in Vegas during the finale, as glitter drops from the top of the stage. The film received mixed to positive reviews from the critics. Boyd van Hoeij in his review for Variety said that "An ecologically minded Italo engineer finds himself in judicial quicksand after he pulls over his borrowed car to help someone lying in the road, in this intriguing, only lightly absurdist drama." Jennie Kermode of Eye for Film gave the film four out of five stars and called it "An intriguing piece of work and particularly impressive for a début feature, this won't be everybody's ideal film but some viewers will adore it." Mymovies.

Trying to help him recover from his experience in the previous episode, Sam and Dean insist that he rest, with Sam offering Castiel his room and Netflix to keep him occupied. Despite Sam's objections, Dean pulls over to a roadhouse that he had an affair at several years ago. Telling Dean to have fun without him, Sam says that he is going to do more research on the case. In the morning, Dean discovers Sam with a girl, Piper, in the car, who departs after an awkward meeting.

The person he tried to call (the mystery woman) is not amused. The driver pulls over and throws them out after Wilhelmina begins insulting him for getting lost (After all, she did say "Take the side streets"). She left her bag in the back of the cab and now they're stranded.

The show opens with Nick Stokes driving down The Strip at night, listening to Bob Neuwirth's Lucky Too on the radio. Locken telephones Collis and informs him that he is sailing Collis’ yacht and arranges for Chung to be picked up in the morning at Pier 70.

She asks Mallory to show Coco around the Academy. At the Hawthorne School, Ariel, Behold, John Henry and Baldwin cast a protection spell for Langdon in preparation for the Seven Wonders. Moore, believing that Langdon is the demonic man from Cordelia's vision after Langdon shows Moore a glimpse of his true form, becomes fearful and leaves the school to go to New Orleans, despite Behold's attempt to stop him. Whilst filling his car up at a petrol station, Miriam Mead pulls over and kills Moore before he can warn anyone.

After stopping at a convenience store, a state trooper pulls over and attempts to arrest Ray and Pluto but Fantasia kills him as she is asked to get out of the car. Word of the trooper's murder gets to the detectives in Star City, and the trio review surveillance photos of Ray and Fantasia in the store confirming their identity. Dixon informs the detectives that Fantasia is Lila Walker and she grew up in Star City. He recalls she was a troubled youth who left for Hollywood with dreams of an acting career.

Shortly after, Boyle attends a briefing by FBI agent Wendell Everett, sent to liaise with the Garda in hunting down four Irish drug traffickers, led by Francis Sheehy-Skeffington, who is believed to be awaiting a delivery of cocaine. Boyle recognises one of the men in Everett's presentation as the victim of the murder he and McBride had been investigating. McBride pulls over a car driven by Sheehy and his lieutenants Clive Cornell and Liam O'Leary and is shot dead. McBride's wife, Gabriela, reports McBride's disappearance to Boyle, who promises to look into it.

They arrived in Qatar on June 1, 2014. A portion of an edited video of Bergdahl's handover released by the Taliban on June 4, 2014, shows the homecoming of the prisoners in an unknown location in Qatar where a caravan of SUVs pulls over alongside a busy stretch of road with the former prisoners exiting and hugging their supporters. The video portion was mixed with joyful Jihadi song.

On April 18, 2012, it was announced on the band's Twitter that the band will be doing additional shooting for the music video in the upcoming weekend. On September 6, 2012, the band announced that the music video will be finally released on September 10, 2012. The music video shows a woman hitchhiking (portrayed by Ciara Hanna), attempting to catch a ride when a man pulls over. After getting in the car, the two talk shortly before the man begins to violently attack the woman, repeatedly punching her and bashing her face against the car window, knocking her bloody and unconscious.

In some versions of the legend, the officer consumes enough LSD to actually go insane.

This led to Pete's dismissal from the protection detail and reassignment to the K9 unit, in addition to creating tension between him and his wife, Sarah. As the story opens, Pete impulsively pulls over car full of teenage gang-bangers, one of whom turns out to be Ja'Kobe White, the brother of one of the victims from the Crawford scandal. Ja'Kobe seizes on the incident to file a police-harassment lawsuit against Pete, which reignites the scandal and draws the ire of Pete's superiors. Meanwhile, Joel Murphy, Pete's son, is feeling isolated and ignored by his family.

Billy tells Ahmad that Daryl is in the closet, but Ahmad doesn't believe him. He orders his bodyguard to put one drop of sulfuric acid on top of Billy's head, but he accidentally puts too much and kills him. Before they leave the other bodyguard checks the closet but he doesn't see Daryl as he's hiding on the ceiling. Daryl decides to leave town but first he pulls over and calls Trish's husband, Roger (LL Cool J). Roger says that he and Trish had a fight after which she left and has been gone for over a week.

On the night Andy puts his scheme into motion, Eddie appears to contribute after helping Andy flee Walford with the £750,000. However, as they drive out of the city, Eddie pulls over near a motorway bridge and claims that he needs to go to the toilet. Andy gives him permission to go, but it later turns out Eddie has actually betrayed Andy by alerting Johnny of his plan and location. Off- screen, Eddie witnesses Johnny and Jake arrive at where Andy is to intercept him - with Jake retaking Johnny's £750,000 from Andy whilst Johnny himself orders Andy to take a walk with him on the motorway bridge.

Felicity Robinson (Glory Annen) is a teen who studies at a remote Roman Catholic Church boarding school and who seeks indulgence in popular erotic novels Story of O, Emmanuelle and in a lesbian love affair with her friend Jenny (Jody Hanson). Her father arranges her holiday trip to Hong Kong where she will stay with a wealthy couple, Christine (Marilyn Rodgers) and Stephen (Gordon Charles). Christine organises a party to introduce Felicity to a friend of theirs, Andrew (David Bradshaw). After the party at the couple's mansion, Andrew takes Felicity for a ride in his car during which he pulls over and deflowers her.

Herc attributes the fake information to "Fuzzy Dunlop". While attempting to retrieve the camera, Herc interviews Randy Wagstaff, who has knowledge about the murder of Lex, one of Bodie's drug dealers. However, Herc mistakenly reveals Randy's cooperation to a conspirator to the murder, Little Kevin; this information gets back to Marlo and results in Randy being labeled a "snitch", eventually leading to Randy's foster mother being injured and Randy being put in a group home. Still attempting to retrieve the camera, Herc pulls over Chris Partlow and Snoop, finding a nailgun which ultimately proves to be an important clue for Lester Freamon's investigation into the murders of Lex and Little Kevin.

However, before betraying him, Andy continues to antagonize Alfie by arranging for the local market to be trashed — which leaves most of the neighborhood feeling traumatized. Shortly after 'helping' Johnny with the trade, Andy is confronted by Alfie and the pair fight over Kat — whom Andy declares his love for, as he blames Alfie for ruining his happiness with her. Danny attempts to help Alfie take on Andy but the pair end up arguing over Danny's interference, and their distraction allows Andy to flee with Eddie in his car. On their way out of Walford, Andy is surprised when Eddie pulls over — claiming that he needs to use the bathroom.

Chris pulls over for a female hitchhiker whom they see on the roadside, but instead an elderly man (Joss Ackland) gets in after a scream and banging is heard. The passenger, who fits the description of the killer from the radio, offers strange and witty anecdotes to questions asked before turning on the radio, which plays "Always on My Mind". During the song, the passenger, with a mad look in his eyes, unpacks several knives from his bag then suddenly asks to be let out and the Pet Shop Boys continue unharmed. They arrive at a transport cafe where they're sat next to a traveller (Gareth Hunt).

RASL confesses that he tested a t-suit, that it worked, and expresses his want to postpone the St. George Array test (and shut down the Tesla Division) to analyze the calculations of his trip. Miles expresses his frustration and wonders if anything has to do with Robert and Maya's trip to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. Afterward, Miles picks up the phone and tells RASL to stick to a story, and that the head of security is arriving. After the blackout, he pulls over and starts walking and sees the strange girl from Chapter 4 holding hands with a woman on the sidewalk (this is the second world he has seen her).

The police arrive and arrest Scheitz for armed robbery without noticing Bruno. Holding a large frozen turkey from the store and the shotgun, Bruno returns to the garage where he works, loads the tow truck with beer, and drives along a highway into the mountains. Upon entering a small town, the truck breaking down, Bruno pulls over to a restaurant, where he tells his story to a German-speaking businessman. He then starts the truck, leaves it circling in the parking lot with a fire taking hold in the engine compartment and goes into a tourist trap across the street, where he starts a ski-lift and rides it with his frozen turkey.

Quim is driving through an isolated rural area and arrives at a petrol station where it is revealed he is trying to get in contact with a woman named Sofia. Whilst on the phone he spots a woman shoplifting and meets her in the bathroom where they have sex and she steals his wallet. In an attempt to follow her to recover his belongings his car is shot at, and, when he pulls over to inspect the damage, a man with a rifle and dog appears and shoots him in the leg. He manages to get back into his car but he only gets so far until he discovers the road is blocked by a bulldozer and fallen tree.

Elena (Nina Dobrev), Caroline (Candice Accola), Bonnie (Kat Graham), Tyler (Michael Trevino) and Matt (Zach Roerig) along with other senior students are at the school when Klaus (Joseph Morgan) arrives and gets Elena. He explains that because she is not dead, he cannot create the hybrid army he always wanted and now he wants Bonnie to fix this. Klaus feeds Tyler his blood and kills him, saying that if Bonnie does not find how to fix the mistake that was created by Elena staying alive, Tyler will wake up in transition but he will die. Damon (Ian Somerhalder) is on the road with Katherine but pulls over and demands to know where they are going.

Reliant Regal in Mr. Bean Since the pilot episode, Mr. Bean has had a long-running feud with the unseen driver of a light-blue 1972 Reliant Regal Supervan III (registration GRA 26K), which would usually get turned over, crashed out of its parking space and so forth by Bean in his Mini, who is usually oblivious to the results. These mishaps also became a running gag throughout the series. In "Tee Off, Mr. Bean", Bean is hitchhiking and the Reliant pulls over for him but Bean, who recognizes the car, pretends to not see it until it leaves. The Reliant reappears in Mr. Bean: The Animated Series under the registration 'DUW 742', again victimized by Mr. Bean in his Mini.

But, when he rushes to take the suitcase, a police car pulls over, and police officer Mintu Hasan (Vinay Pathak) take the suitcase, saying that it was one of the many suitcases in the area which were bearing bombs. Shortly after, it is revealed that Mintu was a dupe police officer, and that he is in cahots with Sukhi and Ballu. Then, a flashback is shown, revealing that Sukhi's father Mr. Baweja (Yogendra Tikku) was an honest man working at a bank, and his wicked boss, Mohanlal Sabharwal (Ravi Kissen) had swindled 15 crores from innocent people and framed Mr. Baweja and his assistant, Saira for it. Mr. Baweja had died of cardiac arrest, meanwhile Saira, who was also Mintu's wife, was imprisoned.

On July 29, 2016, the MTRCB sent a summons to the producers, writers and directors of the show over a scene in its July 25, 2016 episode with "sexually suggestive themes". The scene in question sees Ella (Vice Ganda) having a hard time changing a flat tire in the rain, when Cardo pulls over to help out. In the course of the scene, double entendres were allegedly used in the dialogue between the characters. The MTRCB also noted that although the episode showed an apt SPG (Strong Parental Guidance) rating, pursuant to MTRCB Memorandum Circular No. 12-2011, said episode did not contain the appropriate descriptor "SEX" despite the presence of what may be considered 'sexually suggestive' shots in the subject depiction.

Jung Do-man is a low-ranking traffic cop whose tendency to do things "by the book" sometimes gets him in trouble, such as when he pulls over his new boss, newly instated police chief Lee Seung-man, and issues him with a traffic ticket. Though surprised and annoyed by the unexpected fine, the police chief has bigger problems; the town of Sampo has been hit by a string of bank robberies, and to reassure the public he decides to carry out a realistic drill which will demonstrate the police force's capability. Do-man is chosen to act out the part of the bank robber, but with his usual fastidious attention to detail he sets out to commit the perfect crime.

If lines of sight are long, and both drivers are familiar with the road, vehicles heading towards each other can adjust their speed so as to arrive at a wide spot at the same time and pass slowly, avoiding the need for either vehicle to stop. When two vehicles meet head-on, generally the drivers confer to decide in which direction lies the closest wide spot, and together they travel there, the lead vehicle necessarily in reverse gear. In Scotland, and places like the Isle of Man most drivers are accustomed to single-track roads. During their stay, Patrick (Kevin Zegers) ventures out to his hang out with his dog, Buster, and encounters a small strange lizard.

Under the current Cambridge rules, to overtake merely requires the pursuing boat to draw alongside the other boat's bow ball; side by side is good enough, and in the early part of the course a bump is deemed to occur when the bowball of the chasing crew passes the cox of the crew being chased. Generally, and at Oxford during Eights Week, once a bump has occurred both crews pull over to the river bank and take no further part in that race.
