In 2008, She collaborated with Kilian Hennessy, heir to the Hennessy lineage of cognac makers, providing artwork for a line of fragrances. Matisse added her personal touch to fifty bottles of Kilian perfumes, hand-painting, signing and numbering every bottle and its box. John Bishop, a Sikorsky employee, first became involved in motorsport in the 1950s when he met Dave Allen, a Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) staff member. Allen offered Bishop a management position on the SCCA Contest Board, which Bishop quickly accepted. Bishop moved to Westport, Connecticut shortly thereafter. Bishop's duties consisted of defining technical rules and general administration of SCCA competition, as well as providing artwork for many of the club's magazines and event programmes.

Lamar's soundtrack was released as Black Panther: The Album on February 9, 2018. The album features artwork by Nikolas A. Draper-Ivey, an artist known online for his fan art based on Disney intellectual property such as Black Panther and Spider-Man. Draper-Ivey was surprised when he was approached about providing artwork for the album by Interscope Records, but was excited to join the project and produced an initial mock-up within a day. He then refined the piece with input from the studio, and noted that it was much more minimalistic than his usual work, with a focus on hinting at power rather than overstating.

Jacobs retired from show business in 1991, and shortly thereafter moved from California to St. George, Utah with family members. While living in St. George, Jacobs formed the ska band GOGO13 with his brother Tyler in 1993, where he assumed the role of co-lead singer and songwriter. Though GOGO13 became a notable local success, the original incarnation of the band lasted just under a year until Jacobs left Utah in 1994 to serve his mission for the LDS Church, spending two years in West Virginia. Upon his return, he moved back to California and became involved with his brother Christian's then-up- and-coming band The Aquabats, providing artwork for their logos, albums and merchandise, as well as contributing lyrics, various creative ideas and running their fan club.

The band played their final shows in September 1994 with Reel Big Fish and Mealticket, concluding with a performance on a tennis court which ended with Parker Jacobs humorously firing each of the band members. Just prior to their break-up, GOGO13 had recorded a seven-track EP, Toy Guns & Pixy Stix, which was ultimately never released due to the band's dissatisfaction with the production, though two of its tracks, "Idiot Box" and "Espionage", would later appear on the compilation album Rice Capades in 2001. Following the end of his mission, Parker Jacobs moved back to California where he became involved with his brother Christians then up-and-coming band The Aquabats, providing artwork for their albums and merchandise as well as various creative and musical ideas, running their official fan club and, most notably, playing the role of "The Professor" in the band's live shows and music videos. In the earliest years of the band, The Aquabats regularly played older GOGO13 songs, the most notable of which being "Idiot Box", which was recorded for their 1996 album The Return of The Aquabats and again for their 1997 follow-up The Fury of The Aquabats!.
