These proveniences indicate that the Late Bronze Age Aegean was the medium of an international trade perhaps based on royal gift-giving in the Near East.Pulak, 1998 p. 220 According to a reconstruction by various scholars, the Uluburun shipwreck illustrates a thriving commercial sea network of the Late Bronze Age Mediterranean. In this case, a huge mixed cargo of luxury items, royal gifts and raw materials.

The village has long comprised what is now the villages of Kobylanka, Klęczany and other negligible adjacent areas, until those two became separate nobility's (szlachta's) estates. Unlike most of the neighbouring villages, which before the Operation Vistula (1940s) were largely inhabited by Rusyns' populations (recently called "Lemkos" to avoid inappropriate associating them with any Russian proveniences), throughout the history, Dominikowice and Kobylanka constituted almost homogenously Polish settlement.

In 1876 Henry Gillman conducted excavations at the Fort Wayne Mound under the auspices of the Detroit Scientific Association. He was the first to use modern scientific excavation methods, carefully recording the proveniences of the burials and providing detailed descriptions of the bones and artifacts. He estimated the mound to be approximately 5 feet above ground level at that time, and seventy feet in diameter, and stated that it was undoubtedly much reduced from the original size. These site reports and other early accounts are old enough that they went out of print years ago.

The material of the museum has two proveniences: particular offers and obsolete material from the Army, with historical relevance. The collection of miniature figures, displaying the evolution of soldiers since pre-history times till nowadays, is the museum's main attraction. This collection is represented by around 16,000 miniatures, proceeding from the most famous producers of European miniatures, such as Britains, CBG Mignot, Segom, Heyde, Elastolin and Lineol. The museum also holds a room dedicated to the Revolution of January 31, 1891, the first attempt to establish a Republic in Portugal.

The similarities of the design with their Anatolian counterparts has led to the attribution of specific Transylvanian carpets to more specific Anatolian proveniences like Ghiordes or Melas. The design is related to the Ottoman court prayer rugs of the second half of the sixteenth century. A carpet of this type is depicted in Pieter de Hoochs 1663 painting "Portrait of a family making music". A small group of rugs with a markedly similar prayer rug design closely resembles the "double- niche" type with a vase motif, with the difference that there is only one single niche.

May H. Beattie (1908–1997), a distinguished scholar in the field of carpet studies, wrote in 1976: Oriental rugs from various proveniences often share common motifs. Various attempts have been made to determine the potential origin of these ornaments. Woven motifs of folk art undergo changes through processes depending on human creativity, trial and error, and unpredictable mistakes, but also through the more active process of stylization. The latter process is well documented, as the integration into the work of rural village and nomad weavers of patterns designed in town manufactures can be followed on carpets which still exist.

After defeating their direct opponents and because of the dark and rainy night, Prince John's tactical choice had been to prevent the dissemination of his forces during the subsequent chase, slowly gathering the scattered men from all proveniences, in order to recover his lost operational power and attack the Castilians early the next day. The Prince made a triumphal march towards Toro, carrying his Castilian prisoners, and "with his flags draping and at the sound of trumpets." But very soon the sadness dominated him because nobody knew where his father, the King, was. Besides that, the city of Toro was chaotic, with its gates closed because the Portuguese mistrusted their Castilian allies who they accused of treason and blamed for the defeat of their King.
