The Rosh Yeshiva (and founder) of "Harey Yehuda" and later his father-in-law, Rabbi Tzvi Kahana (1921-1996), was to become his main influence and spiritual mentor who shaped Ehrenberg in his early years. In 1970, Ehrenberg married Nechama, the first daughter of the Rosh Yeshiva and the couple moved to the city of Ashkelon. In 1975, after a five-year program of studies, teachings and social activism as part of a talmudic institution in Ashkelon, Ehrenberg was ordained as Rabbi by the Chief Rabbi of Ashkelon, Rabbi Yosef Chaim Blau. The program consisted of five full courses, or thirty semester hours, at the institution of the student's choice and led to the awarding of the B.Ed. degree jointly by the consenting university and the Nova Scotia Teachers College. In 1989 the Nova Scotia Teachers College was granted degree-granting status by the Nova Scotia government and the college entered into an affiliation agreement with Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax which saw NSTC grant a Bachelor of Education degree. The B.Ed. degrees were granted in the name of both institutions to students who successfully completed the four-year NSTC program of studies and read "Nova Scotia Teachers College in association with Mount Saint Vincent University." She graduated in 1967 in history from the University of Buenos Aires and obtained her PhD in 1978 under the supervision of Argentinian egyptologist Abraham Rosenvasser. She was professor in the University of Buenos Aires, director of the Institute of Oriental Ancient History (IHAO-UBA), director of the Program of Studies of Egyptology (PREDE-CONICET), head of the department of Egyptology (IMHICIHU-CONICET, today Unit of Investigations on the Ancient Near East) and honorary researcher at the Museum of Natural Sciences of La Plata. She was director of the Revista del Instituto de Historia Antigua Oriental (RIHAO, Journal of the Institute of Ancient East History ) and the monographic series Annexes to the Magazine of Studies of Egiptology (Revista de Estudios de Egiptología – REE). She is honorary researcher at the Centre of Studies of History of the Ancient East (Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina).

Early in 1952, in response to the growing need in Belize for higher levels of academic training, St. John's College expanded its traditional four-year high school program, offering a limited number of post- secondary school courses under the direction of Fr. Robert Raszkowski, S.J. The Second Congress of the French Language in Canada concluded with the adoption of 46 vows.Deuxième Congrès de la langue française au Canada : vœux adoptés par les sections d'étude, 18 p. The seven vows of the language section expressed the desire of congress members to see that the phonetic and elocution of the students' speech improve by their methodical teaching and by the particular care which teachers must give to their own diction; that a program of studies on the spoken language of Franco-Americans be set up; that a greater number of local and regional history societies be founded; that libraries be more numerous and more furnished; that the language of advertising improve and be in proper French; that scientific reviews be better supported and encouraged; that a Board on the French language in Canada (Office de la langue française au Canada) be set up, with the mandate to examine and correct commercial signs, posters, and brochures. The three vows of the arts section pertained to the promotion of art appreciation among workers by conferences, projections, etc.

RJC’s program of studies has, of course, evolved over the years. When Herman Fast began instructing the first few students in November 1905, the course of studies included Church History, Bible Stories, German Language, Bible Reading and World History. In the mid-1940s, an attempt was made to expand the curriculum to include courses recognized by the University of Saskatchewan so that students could begin their liberal arts education at RJC. A petition to the provincial government to change the name from the German-English Academy to Rosthern Junior College resulted in the present name of the school, although the anticipated elevation to the status of “junior college” in the eyes of the U of S never really materialized. Today, RJC offers an “education with a plus”, a full high school program augmented by rigorous music, sports and drama programs, outdoor education, a modular vocational program, computer courses, Christian Ethics at all levels and numerous opportunities to develop Christian public service skills and interests through field service and travel.

1493 Albert was the first to comment on virtually all of the writings of Aristotle, thus making them accessible to wider academic debate. The study of Aristotle brought him to study and comment on the teachings of Muslim academics, notably Avicenna and Averroes, and this would bring him into the heart of academic debate. In 1254 Albert was made provincial of the Dominican Order, and fulfilled the duties of the office with great care and efficiency. During his tenure he publicly defended the Dominicans against attacks by the secular and regular faculty of the University of Paris, commented on John the Evangelist, and answered what he perceived as errors of the Islamic philosopher Averroes.
