The term stealth in its most extreme sense refers to a person who passes as their desired sex or gender at all times and who has broken contact with everybody who knew their gender history. Thus, everybody around them is unaware that they were not always presenting as the current sex or gender, and they are effectively invisible within the population as trans. If a trans person in stealth living also wishes to be sexual, effective sex reassignment surgery would be required. In order to live in stealth, an individual has to be extremely passable.

Rhabdomyosarcoma is often difficult to diagnose due to its similarities to other cancers and varying levels of differentiation. There seems to be an apparent linear relation between hearing loss and age in TS. About 75% of people with Turner syndrome have some hearing loss, with the most common presenting as a high frequency sensorineural hearing loss (HFSNHL) across all ages. In 1978, the Lesbian Organization of Toronto adopted a womyn-born womyn-only policy in response to a request for admittance by a transgender woman who identified as lesbian. Dupuytren's contracture is a deformity of the hand due to thickening and fibrosis of the palmar aponeurosis and eventual contracture of the 4th and 5th digits. Presenting as a small hard nodule in the base of the ring finger, it tends to affect the ring and little finger as puckering and adherence of the palmar aponeurosis to the skin. Eventually the MCP and IP joints of the 4th and 5th digits become permanently flexed. Universal screening at the New York–Presbyterian Allen Hospital and Columbia University Irving Medical Center found that out of 215 pregnant patients, four (1.9%) had symptoms and were positive for COVID-19 and 29 (13.7%) were asymptomatic but tested positive for the virus. Fever subsequently developed in three asymptomatic patients. One patient who had tested negative subsequently became symptomatic postpartum and tested positive three days after the initial negative test. The doctors conducting the screening recommended that in order to reduce infection and allocate PPE, due to high numbers of patients presenting as asymptomatic, universal screening of pregnant patients should be conducted.

Trans-woman Lucy Hicks Anderson, born Tobias Lawson in 1886 in Waddy, Kentucky, lived her life serving as a domestic worker in her teen years, eventually becoming a socialite and madame in Oxnard, California during the 1920s and 1930s. In 1945, she was tried in Ventura County for perjury and fraud for receiving spousal allotments from the military, as her dressing and presenting as a woman was considered masquerading. She lost this case but avoided a lengthy jail sentence, only to be tried again by the federal government shortly thereafter. She too lost this case, but she and her husband were sentenced to jail time.

If the upper cervical segment of the spinal cord is involved, all four limbs may be affected and there is risk of respiratory failure – the phrenic nerve which is formed by the cervical spinal nerves C3, C4, and C5 innervates the main muscle of respiration, the diaphragm. Lesions of the lower cervical region (C5–T1) will cause a combination of upper and lower motor neuron signs in the upper limbs, and exclusively upper motor neuron signs in the lower limbs. Cervical lesions account for about 20% of cases. A lesion of the thoracic segment (T1–12) will produce upper motor neuron signs in the lower limbs, presenting as a spastic paraparesis.

Psychologist Beth Firestein states that bisexuals tend to internalize social tensions related to their choice of partners and feel pressured to label themselves as homosexuals instead of occupying the difficult middle ground where attraction to people of both sexes would defy society's value on monogamy. The Chevalier d'Éon (1728–1810) was a French diplomat and soldier who appeared publicly as a man and pursued masculine occupations for 49 years,Gary Kates, Monsieur D'Eon Is a Woman (2001, ), pp. xxi but during that time successfully infiltrated the court of Empress Elizabeth of Russia by presenting as a woman, and later promoted (and may have engineered) rumours that d'Éon had been assigned female at birth,Kimberly Chrisman-Campbell, Dressing d'Eon, in The Chevalier d'Eon and his Worlds (2011, ), Simon Burrows, Jonathan Conlin, Russell Goulbourne (eds.), pp. 97-99Kates (2001), pp. 183-192 and thereafter agreed with the French government to dress in women's clothing, doing so from 1777 until death.

In 2000, Dalila was active in the "Damascus Spring", the title used for the period of political activism that followed following the death of former president Assad in June 2000 and the succession to the presidency of his son, Bashar Assad. During a general crackdown on the Damascus Spring activists, Dalila was arrested in Damascus on 9 September 2001, reportedly following a lecture advocating greater democracy and transparency in government and an end to corruption. The lecture was titled "The Syrian Economy: problems and solutions" and also addressed Syria's worsening economy and called for the abolition of state monopolies. Dalila's lawyer, Anwar al-Bunni, reported that Dalila was beaten by police during his subsequent interrogation, presenting as evidence a blood-stained handkerchief.

254 Ballarat Road, Braybrook, 1957 ETA factory was designed for a client, Nut Foods, for the iricution if their ETA brand margarine. With its elegant, extremely long curtain wall presenting as the public façade, it was one of the most distinguished industrial buildings of the post-war period. At ETA, of interest is the handling of the curtain wall fronting Ballarat Road with its alternating bands of clear and black glass, tubular steel diagonal members (originally picked out in gold matte paint) and classical colonnade implied in the regular rhythm of expressed structural steel columns. Abandoned for many years, only part of the curtain wall facade and the entry courtyard area was retained when the majority of the factory space was replaced by a ‘big box’ retail building and carpark.

In 2002, Ogundehin established her own creative consultancy, MO:Studio. From 2008 to 2015 she became a Trustee for the Victoria & Albert Museum and was made an Ambassador for Diversity in Public Appointments by the Government Equalities Office the following year. Ogundehin has also regularly written for publications such as the Financial Times and The Observer, and in 2017 she stepped down from her role at ELLE Decorations after 13 years. Daly and colleagues showed that acromegaly cases with AIP mutations occurred about 20 years before acromegaly cases without AIP mutations and these tumors are large and relatively treatment resistant.

Worko (Zvika Hizikias), is a 27 year old failed musician with sexist attitudes from Israel's marginalized Ethiopian community, who lives in Tel Aviv and gets in trouble with loan sharks. He escapes to Beit Shemesh, where he grew up, there he finds work in a community center while presenting as a woman named Titi, whose job is to facilitate women's empowerment workshops for Ethiopian women. He faces several challenges in this work: For one, he falls in love with his co-worker, Alsech (Elsa Almo), and must deal with the Ashkenazi director of the center (Lirit Balaban) who pretends to be a committed advocate for the Ethiopian community, cut in reality looks down on the people she is supposed to serve, and is condescending towards them. Worko is very successful in this work, and becomes a leader to the women, and an object of hope.

On August 22, 2017, an editorial cartoon by MacKay was published in the Hamilton Spectator depicting a person wearing a Nazi uniform and holding a tiki torch being beaten and hit by four hippies holding peace-themed signs. BentQ, Hamilton's LGBTQ2SI+ Media and Community Hub, responded to this cartoon in an article that identified the cartoon's Nazi sympathizing nature and its similarities, however unintentional, with Neo-Nazi propaganda. The cartoon was met with discord on MacKay's Facebook page, which lead to MacKay taking the cartoon down. On March 22, 2018, an editorial cartoon by MacKay was published in the Hamilton Spectator which depicted a person presenting as female being asked by a clerk at a Service Canada desk how they would like to be addressed. The individual answers that they are "the serene highness and extraordinary companion of the illustrious order" and continues in this vein, ending with "In Ms. Chatsworth’s Gifted Class I went by Phil".

Though it is popular among sociologists, many recent scholars have argued that the pseudo- family model is not an accurate assessment of the social phenomenon, many claiming that female pseudo families were synonymous with gangs in male prisons as they served exactly the same social organizational purpose. One study, "Reconsidering the Pseudo-Family/Gang Gender Distinction in Prison Research", examined the discourse used by female inmates to discuss their experiences with social groups, and found little distinction between male and female social groups within prisons. For this study, Craig Forsyth and Rhonda Evans collected data from 24 female inmates of the Louisiana Correctional Institute for Women in the form of interviews and journals in which the women recorded their relevant perceptions. Noting both the terminology used to describe and the functions of the pseudo families, the authors found that, rather than presenting as a unique phenomenon, pseudo families served the same purposes as did male inmates' social groups.
