Gebstadter's fourth book, presumably in Italian, is entitled Ambifoni: un minimondo ottimo per lo studio della scopertività, published by Hopeless Mobster, Tokyo, in 1987.

The tree is named after the unrelated biblical Balm of Gilead, a Commiphora resin. Its leaf buds are coated with a resinous sap with a strong, pleasant turpentine or balsam odor that is most evident as the leaves unfold in the spring. For purposes of commerce, the buds are collected before they open, and can be cut up for pot-pourri or used in herbal medicine. Like other poplars, balm-of-Gilead is expected to contain salicin in its bark, and in relation to traditional herbal treatment have been regarded as antiscorbutic, antiseptic, balsamic, diuretic, expectorant, stimulant and tonic.

Most commonly a garniture is a collection of three matching pieces designed for the adornment of a mantlepiece; for example: a clock and two flanking vases or candelabra. Often a large central piece is flanked by pairs of smaller ones. Factory records show that some examples of the Sèvres pot-pourri vase in the shape of a ship were bought as garnitures with other smaller shapes decorated in the same colours (which varied greatly between individual examples). Madame de Pompadour bought one with two pairs of vases, and another buyer a garniture with one pair of the elephant-headed vases.

In 1966 Roberto Carlos presented the programs "Roberto Carlos à Noite", "Opus 7", "Jovem Guarda em Alta Tensão" e "Todos os Jovens do Mundo", at TV Record, all of them short-lived. That year would be marked by a fight that nearly ended the partnership between Roberto and Erasmo Carlos. The reason for the split was a failure of production of the "Show in Si Monal ..." TV Record, which paid homage to Erasmo. The production was to present a pot- pourri of Erasmo's most famous compositions, including "Parei na Contramão" and "Quero Que Vá Tudo Pro Inferno".

Dainton became a versatile performer in various theatrical genres, including musical comedy, pantomime and revue.Dainton on 'Footlights Notes' Dainton made her first London appearance at the Metropolitan music hall in Edgware Road on 6 August 1894. On 24 December 1894 she opened as 'Mr Falsehood' in The House that Jack Built at the Opera Comique, and the following year toured as Flo in Buttercup and Daisy. The next few years were spent appearing mainly in the music halls until June 1899 when she scored a big success at the Avenue Theatre giving impressions of popular stage stars in a production titled Pot Pourri.

From its establishment in 1865 to its final closure in 1982, the pottery went through five distinct periods of ownership, producing a wide range of stoneware ranging from salt glazed ink bottles, utilitarian items and tableware to high quality and original art pottery.

In 1948, Briggs wrote his first book, Loudspeakers: The Why and How of Good Reproduction, which sold out in five months and was reprinted many times. He later wrote an enlarged version called Sound Reproduction. In 1960, he published A to Z in Audio, a 'pot-pourri' of anecdotes and reflections on different aspects of audio engineering, related with quiet humour, under headings arranged alphabetically. In 2012, David Briggs (died 9 January 2018), whose grandfather was Gilbert Briggs' first cousin, wrote a book called A Pair of Wharfedales — The story of Gilbert Briggs and his Loudspeakers ().

The covered vases of the model pot-pourri Pompadour were designed by DuplessisHis signed design survives in the Sèvres archives.

He became a pupil successively of Jules Lefebvre and of Seymour Lucas RA. In the 1890s he exhibited six times at the Royal Academy summer exhibition. In 1899, deciding that sculpture was where his real talents lay, he apprenticed himself to Goscombe John RA before moving permanently to work in France. Josefa was featured in the first authentic Polynesian show with Kimo Lee in New York's Lexington Hotel. Aside from being a knife dancer, Josefa was a musician singing and playing a variety of instruments, specializing in guitar and Tahitian bass drum and to'ere (slotted wooden drum). Josefa was recorded performing with the International Market Place troupe on the popular 1962 album POLYNESIAN POT-POURRI on which you can hear him perform the Samoan "slap dance" on track 11 - S'au S'au Wale. For a period, Josefa was considered the most photographed Samoan in the world appearing in Esquire magazine, National Geographic and many other periodicals.

Originally, the term sodomy, which is derived from the story of Sodom and Gomorrah in the Book of Genesis, was commonly restricted to anal sex. Sodomy laws in many countries criminalized the behavior. (Or ) In the Western world, many of these laws have been overturned or are not routinely enforced.

The output during this period was perhaps the most accomplished to come out of the pottery at any period and included a great variety of vases, bowls, jardinières, fern pots, pot pourri and other similar decorative items - as well as the usual domestic and utilitarian items. Typical decoration of art ware pieces at this time by Helen Goodyer consisted of intricate incised designs, usually with a botanical theme, executed through one or more layers of previously applied coloured slip. George Leighton Parkinson designs also utilised incised patterns, often in conjunction with painted scenes. Typically the subjects of these miniature painted scenes were English pastoral scenes or various famous landmarks, such as the ruins of Tintern Abbey.

It was a leader in ceramic design, working in a number of different ceramic bodies, decorative techniques, and "a glorious pot-pourri of styles - Rococo shapes with Oriental motifs, Classical shapes with Medieval designs and Art Nouveau borders were among the many wonderful concoctions".Battie, 170 As well as pottery vessels and sculptures, the firm was a leading manufacturer of tiles and other architectural ceramics, producing work for both the Houses of Parliament and United States Capitol.

The Diocese of Eastern Oregon was created as a missionary district in the Episcopal Diocese of Oregon in 1907 and became a separate diocese in 1970. Following the resignation in 2007 of the 6th Bishop of Eastern Oregon, William O. Gregg, to become assistant bishop in the Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina, the diocesan leadership concluded that it was not financially possible to appoint another diocesan bishop for the time being. Janeway, Was Leader of VT. Senate, GOP Committeeman, January 11, 1986 In 1945 he moved to South Londonderry, Vermont, where he was a dairy farmer and cattle breeder.

However, his denunciations of fraud within his own party led to his downfall, and although he was re-elected to the legislature in 1876 he soon resigned his post and left public life to devote himself to literature. From his career as a liberal politician, perhaps his most important contribution was a controversial tract in a local magazine advocating the separation of Church and State that was quite polemic at the time. As a writer, he combined the naturalism of Émile Zola and the Goncourt brothers and a localized realist character with four novels of a pessimistic nature. His first two novels were Pot-pourri (1881) and Música sentimental: Silbidos de un vago [Sentimental Music: Whistles of a Lazy Man] (1884).

In his final release of the year, he portrayed a college student in Karan Johar's romance Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, in which he was involved in a love triangle along with Kajol and Rani Mukerji. The writer Anjana Motihar Chandra has referred to the picture as the blockbuster of the 1990s, a "pot-pourri of romance, comedy, and entertainment." Khan won the Best Actor award at the Filmfare Awards ceremony for the second consecutive year, although he and several critics believed his performance to have been overshadowed by that of Kajol. Perfume and Pharmaceutical Officine of Santa Maria Novella (), is a luxury apothecary in Florence, Italy, credited with being the oldest pharmacy in the world. The origins of the shop's pharmaceutical products can be traced back to a monastery of the Dominican Order connected to the adjacent Church of Santa Maria Novella, where monks began experimenting with garden plants to create herbal concoctions beginning in 1221. A retail operation was established in Via Reginaldo Giuliani in 1612 by Fra Angiolo Marchissi, becoming famous over the coming centuries for the quality and salubrious benefits of its products, ranging from perfumes, pot pourri and toiletries, to liqueurs, medicinal balms, and foods. It remained in the ownership of the Church of Santa Maria Novella until 1866, when the property was confiscated by the Kingdom of Italy and sold to a private owner.

Banda Calypso Ao Vivo in Angola was recorded during the International Music Festival of Sumbe in Angola. Despite logistical difficulties, the band wanted to record the DVD during presentations at the Festival as a way to pay tribute to the people of that country. There are 18 songs that show different stages of their career. Among the successes are Meu Encanto , Homem Perfeito (El Hombre Perfecto), Ardendo de Amor, Entre Tapas and Beijos (one of the most performed songs of the band, rereading the success Leandro & Leonardo, a super version "up" with the guitar Chimbinha punctuating vocals by Joelma Mendes), Doa em Quem Doer, Te Encontrei, Potpourri: Principe Encantado / Me Telefona / Você me Enganou, a track that pays homage Angola:"O Som da Africa", with the participation of the African drum "djembe" and vocal Anselmo Ralph, Angolan idol singing with Joelma, Meus Medos, Perdoa, A Cura, Blackout , Imagino , Ataque de um Leão, De Joelhos, Pot-pourri of Carimbó: Pra Dançar Carimbó / Rebola and Vai Pegar Fogo.

The Elephant Automaton in the East Gallery Works were acquired for their exquisite quality and fine provenance, particularly those belonging to French royalty of the Ancien Régime.
