Dharmaraj, who had assigned goons to murder that person, fearing that Priya might pit him against the public and thereby destroy his reputation manages to frame her in a murder case and an attempted murder on Home Minister forcing Vijay to arrest her. The court rewards her death sentence causing her to believe that Vijay did this to her on purpose.

After passing through the hearts of Ventus, Aqua, Terra, and Roxas, Sora enters his past self's heart and tries to avert Kairi's fate, but fails. However, Mickey reveals to Sora that Xehanort has hidden the crystal fragments of Kairi's heart as a last resort. Sora finds five fragments in Scala ad Caelum before his past self's final battle with Xehanort, and then traces the remaining two through Riku and Mickey's hearts during the guardians' battle against Xehanort's replicas, restoring Kairi. After defeating Xehanort's merged replicas, Sora and Kairi travel to the Final World to meet Chirithy, whom Sora persuades to return to the realm of light.

During this time several of the tenants fall under Louison's boyish charms, worrying others who are more anxious for their own safety should they require meat. Aware of her father's motives, Julie descends into the sewers to make contact with the feared Troglodistes, a group of vegetarian rebels, whom she persuades to help rescue Louison. During the apparent butchering of an old woman, the Troglodistes attack but are repelled, and Clapet, with the unsympathetic tenants, storms Louison's room in an attempt to murder him.

After covering a skydive on a live broadcast, he gets the idea to stage a fake burglary for his next daring stunt. He shares this idea with his friend and fellow radio employee Laakso, whom he persuades to go along with the plan without notifying either their superiors in the radio station, nor the police. Unfortunately, Teräsvuori and Lahti happen to discuss the details for their fake crime, a burglary into the Helsinki Art Museum, in a cafe within earshot of some actual burglars, who plan their own heist to coincide with Teräsvuori's.

He is released by Monty Bodkin, who he persuades to steal the book by offering him a year's guaranteed employment—he is worried about his tenure at the castle, as Lord Emsworth suspects him, being the nephew of his rival Parsloe-Parsloe, of scheming to nobble his pig, the Empress.
