In the meantime Moore ordered 113 Vista-Liner 100 coaches from Flxible for delivery in 1955 and 1956. The Vista-Liner (commonly called the VL100) was an advanced two level design but it was only 35 feet long with eight fewer seats than the Scenicruiser. The difference in height between decks was about of half that of the Scenicruiser so it had much less space underneath for baggage and package express shipments. The facility is open 24-hours, which includes the ticket office, passenger assistance, baggage service and the waiting area. The bus terminal, operated by Tar River Transit, provides eight bus routes that operate Monday-Friday at 6:45am–6:45pm and Saturday at 9:15am–5:45pm, closed on Sunday. Greyhound operate, including package express and ticket office, Monday-Friday at 7:30am–1:30pm, 3:30pm–5:30pm and Saturday at 7:30am–12:00pm.

Ithaca Bus Station, also referred to as Ithaca Bus Terminal, is an intercity bus station in Ithaca, the county seat and only city in Tompkins County, New York. The station, located west of North Fulton Street between West Seneca Street and West State Street, had been a train station of the Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad until 1942. The station building accommodates waiting area with seats, ticketing and package express office, and restrooms. The station closed in October 2018 due to construction, retirement of the station operators, and changing infrastructure in the area.

At the intersection with Atlantic Street, East Front Street then curves to the southeast to run under a bridge beneath the former Northern Pacific Railroad line becoming Harrison Avenue. The westbound route has a sign above the bridge for the welcoming motorists to the Butte National Historic Landmark District, but both sides have signs for the former Burlington Northern Railroad. The first notable site along the way is the Greyhound Bus station and Greyhound Package Express office, right next to the tracks and across from the Butte Civics Center. Other sites along the way include the former Harrison Avenue Theater, and the NRHP-listed Socialist Hall.
