The Corbit–Sharp House is a historic house museum located at 118 Main Street in Odessa, Delaware. Roundway Park (or New Park) was a 750-hectare (1,584-acre) estate in the former parish of Roundway in the centre of the English county of Wiltshire. The estate was about northeast of the town of Devizes and included a house, stables, gardens, farmland and woodland. After multiple purposes and ownerships throughout its existence, the house was demolished in 1955 and the estate has since been divided up into residences and farmland.

The original building on the site was a simple Georgian sandstone building roofed with slates, the first use of this roofing material in the colony. The numerous brick Victorian additions were made in the 19th century during various ownerships. Glenfield Plantation (originally called Glencannon) is a one-level historic antebellum home in Natchez, Mississippi. Glenfield was built in two distinct architectural periods on a British land grant originally deeded to Henry LeFluer by King George III. The original 400 acres grew to a 2000-acre working cotton plantation through various ownerships, circa 1774-1812 and 1845–1858. Glenfield was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in Mississippi in 1990.

103 Colmore Row, formerly known as National Westminster House, was a building on Colmore Row, Birmingham, England. The original building was designed by John Madin and was completed in October 1975 as offices and a banking hall for National Westminster Bank. After National Westminster Bank vacated the building it passed through several ownerships but failed to lease its offices. In 2008 a plan by then owners British Land to demolish the tower and replace with a taller modern equivalent was approved.

The Richard Holbrook Houses are a pair of joined historic houses at 29 and 31 Heard Street in Waltham, Massachusetts. Both are 1-1/2 story Greek Revival cottages, that once had detailed styling, which has since been lost or sided over. The two houses were built in 1844 by Richard Holbrook, a housewright, and are rare surviving examples of a once-common form. The houses went through separate ownerships until 1892, when Patrick Welch acquired the second after acquiring the first in 1886.

The core of a widespread massive sulfide deposit composed of palladium, nickel, copper, gold, cobalt, platinum and silver was mined out from underground and by an open pit from 1934 to 1936. Isle Royale Queen IV, the current ferry The Isle Royale Ferry Service was the name of the transportation service between Copper Harbor, Michigan and Isle Royale National Park from 1971 to about 2004. The service became the Isle Royale Line, Inc. in about 2005, when the company began operating the Isle Royale Queen IV. Passenger ferry operations out of Copper Harbor, Michigan's northernmost town, which has often been known as the "Gateway to Isle Royale" have been operating since 1930 under different ownerships. Six ferry boats have been in operation since the first charters out of Copper Harbor in the 1930s.

The Yreka Bakery moved eventually to its long-time location, 322 West Miner Street, where it remained under several ownerships until it closed in 1965 on retirement of the baker "Martin", and clerk Alta Hudson. The more financially viable WSWN "Sugar 900" moved from its cramped, antiquated studios into the state of the art WBGF-FM studios (built during the Tammy Haire years); while the failing FM was placed inside WSWN-AM's old studios. These programming changes led to personal changes for the popular Jimmy "Reverend" Sims, who managed to keep his job through the various format changes and ownerships. For years Sims had battled a variety of ailments including severe arthritis that left him with gnarled digits and painful joints.

A local management company operated the hotel for a few years, and in 1961 the American Hotel Corporation took control when the Patrick Henry was auctioned off to pay off ownerships debts; American Hotel ran the hotel until 1968. It was at this time the Monterey Corporation of Parkersburg, West Virginia, renovated the original 300 rooms into 121 hotel and apartment units. Orava Castle stands on the site of an old wooden fortification, built after the Mongol invasion of Hungary of 1241. Its history follows a familiar pattern of construction, destruction, reconstruction, fire, various ownerships and territorial squabbles. The original design was in Romanesque and Gothic style; it was later reconstructed as a Renaissance and Neo-Gothic structure, hugging the shape of the 520-metre spur on which it perches. The mining magnate Thurzo family, who took charge in the mid-16th century, were responsible for a great deal of rebuilding work, although its present form was not finalised until 1611.

Up until the 17th century, the reigning Archbishop of York was regarded as the overlord of the manor, which was attached to the manor of Southwell, Nottinghamshire. One of the longest family ownerships of the manor was by the Maunsell family. Prior to 1166, the Archbishop of York at the time had granted residency of the manor to Robert Maunsell, a residency which remained in the hands of his male descendants until 1352. Robert Maunsell did lose the manor for four years during this period (1216-1220) as a result of rebellion; the manor was forfeited to the crown and King John granted the manor to Hugh de Luterington.

One of the oldest remaining homes in town is the Jackson estate, still owned by the family as well as one of the county's largest lake, Jackson's Lake. Next to the lake is a log cabin that has been operating as a tavern under many different names for many different owners for over a hundred years. Native American arrow heads have been found embedded in the construction. One of the longest running ownerships of the tavern were Claude and Hazel Jackson who ran it as The Copper Stallion bar and restaurant until it burnt down to the ground from an air conditioning unit in 1955.

It was announced in October 2011 that Eissa was giving away his share, which was estimated to cover 24% of the channel's total shares to Nabil Hasan Kamel and Dr. Said Tawfiq, two businessmen in Egypt. Klondike Katie Built by Baldwin for the US military in 1943 and was one of several United States Army Transportation Corps class S118 locomotives built for the Army, #192 is slightly lighter than the other locomotives at Dollywood, being a USATC 190 Class "Mikado" type, but still burns two tons of coal every day. The Army turned the locomotive over to the White Pass in 1946. She operated there until the late 1950s. She was sold to the Rebel Railroad in 1960 and began operation there in 1961, and has worked there through the various ownerships and name changes the property has undergone, known as Klondike Katie.

The potential wealth of the coalfields was brought forward in 1886 by Professor Tannatt William Edgeworth David who located an outcrop of first grade coal at Deep Creek, near the present township of Abermain. This gentleman was instrumental in having the whole coal-bearing area, estimated at 20,000 acres (81 km²), reserved for mining purposes. The coalfields were subsequently served by the South Maitland Railway which left the New South Wales Government's Great Northern Railway above Maitland at the East Greta Junction, 20 miles 65 chains (33.49 km) north of Newcastle. This 'railway' was in fact a considerable number of lines which all, at some point, merged, but had different original ownerships.

Some of the Cypresses along the carriagedrive also have a moderate degree of significance. The Jacaranda and the Liquidambar to the north and west of the House have a low degree of significance, being plantings by the Golf Club after 1950, as have the shrubs along the carriagedrive within the House grounds. The part regenerated, part remnant Eucalypt woodland to the north of the House has a moderate degree of historical, technical and aesthetic significance, demonstrating the original landcover of the property and its unusual retention despite its successive periods of quite different ownerships and land uses. Its existence as a rich textural backdrop and setting to the House gives it some aesthetic value, as does the screening it provides for the otherwise visually intrusive Army barracks.

When P. ramorum propagules arrive in a new geographic location and establish colonies, these microsatellites begin to display mutation in a relatively short time, and they mutate in a stepwise fashion. Based on this, researchers in California have been able to construct trees, based on microsatellite analyses of isolates collected from around the state, that trace the movement of P. ramorum from two likely initial points of establishment in Marin and Santa Cruz Counties and out to subsequent points. Early detection of P. ramorum on a landscape scale begins with the observation of symptoms on individual plants (and/or detecting P. ramorum propagules in watercourses; see below). Systematic ground-based monitoring has been difficult within the range of P. ramorum because most infected trees stand on a complex mosaic of lands with various ownerships.

Launched in Bath and North East Somerset as 107.9 Bath FM from its Bathampton Down transmitter in November 1999 and was a rival station to GWR FM Bath (now Heart). It had several ownerships such as The Local Radio Group in February 2006, Laser Broadcasting from June 2008 and later in the same year as South West Radio Ltd in October. Bath FM relaunched as Total Star Bath in August 2010 after Total Star Gloucestershire company Storm Radio Ltd teamed up with One Gold Radio Ltd (now More Radio Ltd), but the two companies soon had separated in 2011 and Total Star Bath along with two other Total Star stations in Swindon and Warminster had changed the name to More Radio in June 2011. More Radio has recently been relaunched in Bath as The Breeze in September 2011 after being bought by Celador.

It is reported that the central tower of Kinnettles Castle was modelled on the much older Ackergill Tower located near Wick in Caithness. Further changes were made in 1914 when the mansion house and neighbouring farms were bought by Sir James Duncan, who is said to have made ‘costly improvements’ before his brief period of ownership ended with his death some 12 years later. His trustees then sold the property in 1926 to Sir Harry Hope; the castle was occupied by the Hope family until 1960, when it was sold to the Walker-Munro family. From the more recent ownerships the mansion house and western half of the landscape have become separated from the walled garden and eastern half of the landscape, after further refurbishment from the penultimate owners it was then leased out for a staff training facility.

Security experts believe that the perpetrators ran the scam as a "smash and grab" operation: Knowing that the intrusion into the accounts would be closed quickly, the perpetrators likely planned that only a small fraction of the millions that follow these accounts needed to fall for the scam in that short time to make quick money from it. Multiple bitcoin wallets had been listed at these websites; the first one observed had received from over 320 transactions, valued at more than , and had about removed from it, while a second had amounts in only the thousands of dollars as Twitter took steps to halt the postings. It is unclear if these had been funds added by those led on by the scam, as bitcoin scammers are known to add funds to wallets prior to starting schemes to make the scam seem legitimate. Of the funds added, most had originated from wallets with Chinese ownerships, but about 25% came from United States wallets.

Sanusi favors deep economic structural reforms and a more "interventionist, directional economic policy" to be implemented in Nigeria. He has also called for the diversification of the economy away from oil, and has also criticized financialization for creating a "fake economy" and not having sufficient impact on the real economy. He has also supported the use of state-owned banks and development finance as a catalyst for industrialization. On bank ownerships he is of the view that "The owners and managers of banks, the rich borrowers and their clients in the political establishment are one and the same class of people protecting their interest, and trampling underneath their feet the interest of the poor with impunity". On his introduction of Islamic banking to Nigeria, he elaborated his view that Islamic finance is a resilient alternative; stating “Islamic banking, if well harnessed, would ensure large numbers of people are economically independent”, he also noted in the past proponents of interest-free banking included Aristotle, Adam Smith, and Alfred Marshall.
