The film tells the story of how an accident occurs on an orbital space station due to meteor storm, as a result of which the ship's commander is seriously injured. The Bigelow Next-Generation Commercial Space Station is a private orbital space station under development by Bigelow Aerospace. Agnew's "Space Task Group" to recommend a future direction of the US manned space program. While traveling across the colony evading the mercenaries and the zombified colonists, Walter learns of the E.Y.E., an alien machine unearthed by the colonists more than two decades ago and installed aboard the colony's headquarters, the orbital space station ISS Megalodon, for research purposes.
