For its detractors, it apparently revived old devils from late 70's by featuring back a single division with 80 teams, allegedly for political reason as CBF sought support from smaller teams against growing criticism of the top traditional clubs. These in turn saw this as weaker revenue possibilities, exemplified by 1985 final play-offs, combined with real increased competitiveness from these smaller provincial clubs, now also at national league level. Promotion and relegation were still taboo, and unthinkable for top tier teams. But CBF introduced for the first time this feature (which actually justified the single division formula once for all in order to level the playing field for next-year tournament with more conventional divisions of 24 teams).

Christ, of course, is not sacrificed again because the one sacrifice of the Cross was accomplished "once for all" and cannot be repeated. The Mass is a liturgical representation of a sacrifice that makes present what it represents through the action of God in an unbloody manner.Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1367 The Eucharist is not merely a commemoration of Christ's sacrifice on Golgotha: it also makes that sacrifice truly present. The priest and victim of the sacrifice are one and the same (Christ), with the difference that the Eucharist is offered in an unbloody manner.Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1367; Council of Trent: Session XXII, chapter 2 The only ministers who can officiate at the Eucharist and consecrate the sacrament are ordained priests (either bishops or priestly presbyters) acting in the person of Christ ().

Unlike the above Christian theologies, the Protestant tradition generally rejects sacerdotalism.1 Timothy 2:5 Those churches argue that the New Testament presents only one atoning sacrifice, the Body of Christ offered once for all on the cross by Christ himself, who is both the sinless offering and the sinless priest. The Eucharistic sacrifices of prayer, praise, and thanksgiving are offered by all believers as spiritual priests. The Body of Christ - in what is often called the Eucharist, Holy Communion, Holy Supper, or Lord's Supper - is not offered by the ministry to God as a means of sheltering the communicants from the divine wrath, but it is offered by God through the ministry as representatives of the congregation, to individuals, as an assurance of his gracious will to forgive them their sins.

The Prayer was a mix of Roman and Orthodox doctrines with some Calvinist elements. The English Rites focused on the memorial to the exclusion of sacrificial language in the Prayer of Consecration. Such sacrificial language as remained was placed at the end of the service in an optional Prayer of Oblation at which point the congregation made a self-offering beseeching God "to accept our sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving." The removal of oblation from the prayer of consecration was done in order to avoid the suggestion that the Holy Eucharist was a material Peace Offering to God made by his Church in and with Christ with the very same sacrifice he had offered once for all and now made present as a sacramentBard Thompson, Liturgies of the Western Church, 1961 p.

Advocates for National in the mid-19th century favored the "grand idea" of a flagship American university in the style of prominent European institutions, as promoted by presidents George Washington, James Madison, and John Quincy Adams. These advocates quoted Washington in his eighth State of the Union address: "I have heretofore proposed to the consideration of Congress the expediency of establishing a national university and also a military academy. The desirableness of both these institutions has so constantly increased with every new view I have taken of the subject that I can not omit the opportunity of once for all recalling your attention to them." Washington had given the U.S. $25,000 from his personal estate for the purpose of establishing such an institution and a "popular subscription fund" of $30,000 was also established in 1795.

After some other successful participations, Telesistema 11 selected the singer Taty Salas with her ballad "Olvidar, Olvidar" (To forget...to forget) which achieved second place again. Salas was selected again by the Dominican broadcaster in 1988, and although she didn't repeat the success of her previous entry, she placed third with the song "De tu boca" (From your mouth). In 1989, Telesistema 11, determined to record a Dominican victory once for all, contacted the prominent singer Juan Luis Guerra, who composed the power ballad "Te ofrezco" (I offer you) which was sung by Maridalia Hernández. Although the song placed third and didn't win, this entry was widely acclaimed both by the jury and by the audience to the point that today, it's considered to be one of the best entries in the history of the OTI Festival.

She faces a difficult decision, but despite seeming willing to accept the charming Tito over the brutish Carlos, she suddenly stabs Tito with the mental representation of the knife, sending his soul to the afterlife for good. After waking up, Carlos tries to make up with her for his failures as a husband and father, but she ignores him and leaves silently the restaurant, implying she has decided to abandon him and seek a better life.

The DC in response to the written petition and deposition by the delegation ordered the Additional Deputy Commissioner to prepare a "white paper to solve the problems once for all through a committee". During the meeting a senior officials from the DC office said that every time he visited Aravali retreat he found more greenery than before.

After the death of his daughter's fiancé, George William was keen to negotiate an agreement over the inheritance of the Duchy of Lüneburg. A repentant Gentoku joins Sento to stop Evolto, even as the latter regains his memories as Takumi, giving him the means to fight a fully corporeal Evolto on equal ground. While Evolto is aided by Namba's former aide Nariaki Utsumi (after becoming Kamen Rider Mad Rogue) and Takumi's father Shinobu Katsuragi, Evolto is unaware that the two are acting against him, as Shinobu gives Takumi the means for him and Ryūga to destroy Evolto once for all. With Evolto managing to fully restore the Pandora Box, the final battle for humanity ends with the alien's demise when Sento causes the Pandora Box to assimilate his reality into the "Prime" Kamen Rider world, creating a new world where the Skywall incident and the resulting tragedies never happened. While saddened that none of their friends remembered them and their times together, Sento and Ryuga resolve to start making a new life for themselves in this new reality, starting by writing a 49-episode tokusatsu drama based on their experiences in the previous world.

The Eerdmans Dictionary of the Bible on the other hand, contends that "the nature of eternal life is only sketched in its essential elements in the New Testament". John W. Ritenbaugh says that eternal life is knowing God, and that Jesus implies an intimate relationship with God that matures over time. Ostromir Gospel of John, 1056 While the Synoptic Gospels are seen as focusing on the proclamation of the Kingdom of God, some scholars see eternal life as the central theme of Jesus' preaching in the Gospel of John,A theology of the New Testament by George Eldon Ladd 1993 pages 290–293 where receiving eternal life is seen to be synonymous with entering the Kingdom.A theology of the New Testament by George Eldon Ladd 1993 page 70 In Christian teachings, eternal life is not an inherent part of human existence, and is a unique gift from God, based on the model of the Resurrection of Jesus, viewed as a unique event through which death was conquered "once for all", permitting Christians to experience eternal life.

The Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses views the bread and wine of the Lord's Supper as symbolically representing and commemorating the sinless body and blood of the Messiah Jesus, the Son of God. They don't consider that the elements become supernaturally altered, or that Christ's actual physical presence is literally in the bread and wine per se, but that the elements (which they generally call "emblems") are commemorative and symbolic, and are consecrated for the Lord's Supper observance, and are figurative of the body and blood of Christ, as the true "Lamb of God" who died once for all, and view the celebration as an anti- typical fulfillment of the ancient Jewish Passover celebration, which memorialized the freeing and rescuing of God's covenant people Israel from painful bondage to sinful Egypt. The Witnesses commemorate Christ's death as a ransom or propitiatory sacrifice by observing a Memorial annually on the evening that corresponds to the Passover,Reasoning From The Scriptures, Watch Tower Bible & Tract Society, 1989, p. 265. He also contributed to statistical practice and articulated the important distinction between exploratory data analysis and confirmatory data analysis, believing that much statistical methodology placed too great an emphasis on the latter. Though he believed in the utility of separating the two types of analysis, he pointed out that sometimes, especially in natural science, this was problematic and termed such situations uncomfortable science. A. D. Gordon offered the following summary of Tukey's principles for statistical practice: :... the usefulness and limitation of mathematical statistics; the importance of having methods of statistical analysis that are robust to violations of the assumptions underlying their use; the need to amass experience of the behaviour of specific methods of analysis in order to provide guidance on their use; the importance of allowing the possibility of data's influencing the choice of method by which they are analysed; the need for statisticians to reject the role of "guardian of proven truth", and to resist attempts to provide once-for-all solutions and tidy over-unifications of the subject; the iterative nature of data analysis; implications of the increasing power, availability, and cheapness of computing facilities; the training of statisticians.

In 1881, Tunisia became a French protectorate, and in the same year Charles Lavigerie, who was archbishop of Algiers, became apostolic administrator of the vicariate of Tunis. In the following year, Lavigerie became a cardinal. He "saw himself as the reviver of the ancient Christian Church of Africa, the Church of Cyprian of Carthage", and, on 10 November 1884, was successful in his great ambition of having the metropolitan see of Carthage restored, with himself as its first archbishop. In 1053, Pope Leo IX settled a dispute about primacy in the Roman province of Africa between the bishops of Carthage and Gummi by declaring that, after the Bishop of Rome, the first archbishop and chief metropolitan of the whole of Africa is the bishop of Carthage nor can he, for the benefit of any bishop in the whole of Africa, lose the privilege received once for all from the holy Roman and apostolic see, but he will hold it until the end of the world as long as the name of our Lord Jesus Christ is invoked there, whether Carthage lie desolate or whether it some day rise glorious again.

All this was criticised by Bossi, who re-called his left- wing roots; and Tosi, who represented the party's centrist wing and defended the Euro. In the European election, the party, which ran on a "Stop the Euro" ticket, emphasised Euroscepticism and welcomed candidates from other anti-Euro and/or autonomist movements, notably including South Tyrol's Freiheitlichen, obtained 6.2% of the vote and five MEPs.
