Sheep Ranch (formerly, Sheepranch) is an unincorporated community in Calaveras County, California. It lies at an elevation of 2359 feet (719 m). Sheepranch was named after a sheep ranch. Officially listed as "Sheep Ranch", the official post office stamp did at one time read "Sheepranch" (Zip: 95250).

He formed the Pitney Postal Machine Company in 1902, which became the American Postage Meter Company in 1912. The machine’s acceptance by the public was slow. Pitney — his finances and marriage both wrecked by the project — resorted to selling insurance but persisted. In 1919, Pitney was introduced to Walter Bowes, an industrialist who had success marketing a post office stamp canceling machine.

Godthåb, used on the post-office stamp, was the first official name of the locality. When the railway station was opened in 1916, the name was changed to Østermarie. He painted some fine portraits, and Medović was the only Croatian artist in this period painting still lifes. However, his major contribution to Croatian painting is his series of landscapes, full of bright southern light and vigorous colours. His hometown of Kuna now hosts an art colony, and art gallery in his name - KUD Mato Celestin Medović. Medovic's painting of "Pelješko - korčulanski kanal", 1908-1912 appeared on a Croatian Post Office stamp in 1996.

Addiction to amphetamine and a lifelong habit of petty theft, which he said came from seeing his father bring home things he had stolen from work, brought him into trouble with the law. He was caught stealing lawnmowers and breaking into post office stamp machines to raise money to cover his addiction and his gambling. The jail sentence and the loss of all he had won forced him and his Belgian wife, Josée, to sell the villa they had owned. They moved into a series of anonymous houses and apartments.

US Post Office stamp, 1948 In 1936, the NVA Hospital located in Saranac Lake, New York was renamed as the Will Rogers Memorial Hospital by the National Vaudeville Artists association. On November 4, 1948, the United States Post Office commemorated Rogers with a three-cent postage stamp. In 1979, it issued a United States Postal Service 15-cent stamp of him as part of the "Performing Arts" series. The Barrow, Alaska airport (BRW), located about 16 miles (26 km) from the location of the fatal airplane crash, is known as the Wiley Post–Will Rogers Memorial Airport.

Qatar had special treaty relations with Great Britain from 1916 until 3 September 1971, when it became an independent state. From 18 May 1950 British residents were able to send mail through the office of the British Political Officer in Doha. The first three sendings of mail had Bahrain or British Postal Agencies in Eastern Arabia stamps which were cancelled by a circular office stamp but later mail had the stamps cancelled at Bahrain until a Doha canceller was introduced in July 1950. Before 1950, foreign residents made their own arrangements for mail to be sent to Bahrain from where it entered the postal system.

In a 1922 issue of The Philatelic Magazine he suggested that a collector's aim was: He owned some of the rarest and most expensive stamps known, such as the 1886 Dominican 6 pence Queen Victoria stamp with a "one penny" overprint error and an 1851 New Carlisle Postmaster's Provisional on cover that sold in 2010 for €280,000. In 1923 he acquired the only complete known unused sheet of 20 of the 1850 “Dreier Sachsen” (Saxony) stamps previously in the collection of Philipp von Ferrary and sold it prior to the rest of his collection being sold around 1964. Burrus had acquired about a quarter of Ferrary's collection. By the time of his death in 1959, he owned five copies of the Mauritius "Post Office" stamp.

US Post Office stamp issued in 1966. The National Route returns to US 61 via US 61 Business, splitting to follow CR X62 and Madison Avenue into Burlington. It turns east onto Main Drive through Crapo Park and curves back north on Main Street, which leads to CR X99 (former Iowa 99) to north of Toolesboro and CR X61 into Muscatine. After turning onto US 61 Business, the National Route leaves the state on the Norbert F. Beckey Bridge (Iowa 92). A second state alternate route continues on US 61 Business, turning east to follow Iowa 22 along the river to Davenport. It follows another US 61 Business through that city and US 67 through Bettendorf, remaining on that highway until Sabula where it then follows US 52 north. After passing over the Great River Road Bridge in Bellevue the route reaches US 20 in Dubuque. The National Route reenters Iowa on the Julien Dubuque Bridge (US 20), turning north onto Iowa 946 to reach US 52.

Frazer blamed republicans for the incident and claimed to have received a death threat a few hours before the attack."Willie Frazer: Car destroyed in arson attack at his Markethill Home" BBC News 10 February 2012 However, people have questioned if he did it himself after Frazer posted photos to his Facebook page reportedly showing a bullet that was posted to him, until satirical web group LAD pointed out that the handwriting on the envelope was the same as his own and that the envelope lacked a sorting office stamp. In September 2013, when brought before court under the serious crime act of 2007, Frazer arrived to court dressed as radical Muslim cleric and terrorist, Abu Hamza. He claimed that this was an act of protest, as the legislation he was being charged under was one he believed to be designed for the conviction of Muslim extremists, and therefore should not have applied to him.
