View from the top of the Stratosphere Tower in 2008 The top of the tower has two observation decks, a revolving restaurant known as "Top of the World", and four thrill rides. An indoor observation deck is located on the 108th floor, and includes food and beverage outlets, while stairs lead up to the outdoor deck on the 109th floor. Both decks provide wraparound views of the Las Vegas Valley. The indoor deck was remodeled and unveiled in July 2019.

Busan Tower and Yongdusan Park Busan Tower is a 120-metre-high tower at Yongdusan Park, located in Jung-gu, Busan, South Korea. Busan Tower was built in 1973. It's only used for entertainment purposes and doesn't have any transmitting equipment which sets the tower apart from many other towers with observation decks primarily built as TV- and radio towers. The deck features panoramic view and a small cafe, it's only accessible during working hours via two high-speed elevators.

The logo for the koala exhibit was designed by manga artist Akira Toriyama in 1984. Garden collections include Aconitum, Camellia, Gentiana, Glycyrrhiza, Papaver, Rheum, and native wild flora, as well as a greenhouse, insect hall, and a Japanese garden. The Higashiyama Sky Tower allows visitors a view of Nagoya from its observation decks, and also features a restaurant 100 metres above ground. As of 2010, Higashiyama Zoo had the 2nd most annual park visits of any zoo in Japan, behind only the Ueno Zoo in Tokyo.

The rest of the viaduct contains utilitarian metal railings and tall chain-link fences. The viaduct was designed similar to a landscaped boulevard or parkway, with observation decks projecting outward from the viaduct's sidewalks. Sandhill cranes at nearby Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge The New Mexico Department of Water Game and Fish manages the Bernardo Wildlife Management Area, a unit of the Ladd S. Gordon Waterfowl Complex. It covers that have been set aside to provide a winter habitat for waterfowl such as ducks and geese and for sandhill cranes. A flock containing as many as 5,000 cranes may congregate at one time in the area. There are three observation decks along a dirt road near the Rio Grande.

The waterfall site features a footbridge and observation decks with railing. On December 10, 1988, the waterfall and its surroundings covering an area of , was registered by the Nature Reserve and Nature Parks Administration of the Ministry of Forest and Water Management as the first ever natural monument of the country. The natural monument is run by the Municipality of Düzce according to a protocol signed later by the parts. The waterfall sustained great damage following a flood disaster occurred on July 16–17, 2009.

Bantiger TV Tower is a 196 metre tall tower used for FM- and TV-transmission at on the Bantiger mountain, a mountain east of Berne situated in the municipality of Bolligen. The Bantiger TV Tower was built between 1991 and 1996 as replacement of a 100 metres tall radio tower, built in 1954. Bantiger TV Tower, which was inaugurated in 1997 has a public observation deck in a height of 33.7 metres. In contrast to most other observation decks on TV towers, there is no elevator for visitors access.

Guests ascending to the 67th, 69th, and 70th level observation decks (dubbed "Top of the Rock") atop the GE Building at Rockefeller Center in New York City ride a high-speed glass-top elevator. When entering the cab, it appears to be any normal elevator ride. However, once the cab begins moving, the interior lights turn off and a special blue light above the cab turns on. This lights the entire shaft, so riders can see the moving cab through its glass ceiling as it rises and lowers through the shaft.

The Enoshima Sea Candle (), also known as the Shonan Observatory Lighthouse, is an observation tower and lighthouse located in the Samuel Cocking Garden on the small tidal island of Enoshima in Fujisawa, Kanagawa, Japan. The tower has two observation decks, the primary indoor deck and a secondary outdoor deck. The primary deck can be accessed via a central lift or spiral staircase, while the outdoor deck can only be accessed by a second spiral staircase. Completed in 2003, the Sea Candle was built to celebrate the 2002 centenary of the Enoshima Electric Railway.

Torre Espacial, or Torre Interama, is a high observation tower in the Villa Soldati section of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The tower was designed and manufactured in Austria by Waagner-Biro, and built between 1980 and May 1981 for the Parque de la Ciudad amusement park. The bankruptcy of the amusement park's developer, Interama S.A., delayed delivery of the observation tower components; the tower was finally opened to the public on July 9, 1985. It features observation decks at 120, 124, and 176 meters; from the highest deck it is possible to see the Uruguay coast.

Gabellini Sheppard Associates' completed the renovation of Top of the Rock at Rockefeller Center in 2006, completely revamping the six level, 55,000 square-foot project to include new public spaces as well as restoration of the historic observation decks. The project won the Institute Honor award for Interior Architecture as well as an Honor award for Historic Preservation from the American Institute of Architects. Cayuga Park is a neighborhood park and playground in San Francisco, at the edge of the Cayuga Terrace neighborhood. Its history, location and aesthetics make it unique among the parks of San Francisco. Cayuga Park The aesthetics of Cayuga Park is largely the creation of Demetrio Braceros, an employee of the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department. Braceros worked on the park for over 20 years, transforming a barren landscape into a park that features lush vegetation, trails, "themed gardens" and, most prominently, over 375 figurines, totem poles and statues as well as several observation decks, all carved from wood by Braceros.

Plans for the tower included 1,193 condominiums with each of the building's 150 stories rotated 2.4 degrees from the one below it for a total 360-degree rotation. Some argue that installation of fishways at Hells Gate caused more than just an increase in Fraser salmon, claiming that it was also a tactic to reduce the likelihood that the construction of future hydroelectric dams in the Fraser canyon would ever gain popular support. In 1971, Hells Gate and its fishways became a tourist attraction with the completion of the Hells Gate Airtram. The tourist site now boasts food outlets, observation decks and an educational fisheries exhibit that displays different short films regarding the area’s history as well an ecological documentary on the salmon run.

In May 2009, it was announced an additional 6,100 seats would be added in the northeast and northwest end zones by mid-season. On the Maryland side, in the C&O; Canal National Historical Park, Section A of the Billy Goat Trail follows the gorge—from below Great Falls to above the Anglers Inn river put-in. Generally, most of the rock climbing occurs on the vertical cliffs of the Virginia side of the gorge, below the Observation Decks and above the 90 degree river bend.

Significant design elements of the tower are the central mast whose heel is hinged via a steel ball to the central foundation, and the steel cable net of triangular meshes. The net is tensioned between a circular concrete foundation and a pressure ring at an altitude of 33.5 meters which in turn is suspended from the mast head by cables. The Shanghai World Financial Center (SWFC; ) is a supertall skyscraper located in the Pudong district of Shanghai. It was designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox and developed by the Mori Building Company, with Leslie E. Robertson Associates as its structural engineer and China State Construction Engineering Corp and Shanghai Construction (Group) General Co. as its main contractor. It is a mixed-use skyscraper, consisting of offices, hotels, conference rooms, observation decks, and ground-floor shopping malls. Park Hyatt Shanghai is the tower's hotel component, comprising 174 rooms and suites occupying the 79th to the 93rd floors, which at the time of completion was the highest hotel in the world.

Cleveland Metroparks and the Slavic Village Development Corp. spent $1.2 million ($ in dollars) building observation decks and restoring a nearby 19th- century home (which was converted into the Mill Creek Falls Historic Center). Another $200,000 ($ in dollars) were spent building a parking lot and adding a traffic light to improve vehicular access. Clean Ohio, a state open space preservation fund, provided another $650,000 to acquire an additional of land, which added green space, picnicking areas, and toilet facilities to the park. Mill Creek Falls Park opened on October 10, 2002. In December 2004, the city purchased the YMCA building at 11300 Miles Avenue and turned it into a public recreation center.

There are three floors of business, sales and radio communication facilities located between the 30.5 metre and 42.7 metre levels providing space for communication dishes, platforms and equipment for mobile services within the tower. The viewing platforms provide 360 degree views of Canberra and the surrounding city and countryside. Visitors to Telstra Tower can see the city unfold from the enclosed viewing gallery or from the two open viewing platforms.

As a dominant landmark in the midtown skyline upon its opening, the building had an open-air observation deck on the 54th floor. It was one of three open-air observatories in the city following World War II, the others being at 30 Rockefeller Plaza and at the Empire State Building, though there had been several other observation decks in the city prior to the war. The Chanin Building only charged 25 cents for admission, since it was not as well known as the other two buildings with outdoor observatories. Over the years, several people have committed suicide by jumping off the 54th floor observation deck.

The Hochfirst Tower The Hochfirst Tower () is a 25-metre-high lattice observation tower on the Hochfirst mountain near Titisee-Neustadt at 47°54'04" N and 8°11'03" E. It was built in 1890 as the replacement for a wooden observation tower. Several observation decks may be accessed by the winding corrugated metal staircase, and the top deck provides panoramic views of the distant Swiss Alps and the Titisee-Neustadt valley. The tower is accessible from the Freiburg-Lake Constance Black Forest Trail and is near the small village of Saig. Currently, Hochfirst Tower is used for directional radio and mobile phone services as well as for observation purposes.

Throughout the park are observation decks, from which visitors may spot wildlife engaged in various activities, such as turtles sunning themselves on the rocks, groups of baby ducks and swans, beaver dams and even the beavers themselves.

The Suwannee River Wilderness Trail is "a connected web of Florida State Parks, preserves and wilderness areas" that stretches more than 170 miles (274 kilometers), from Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park to the Gulf of Mexico. The Lower Suwannee National Wildlife Refuge offers bird and wildlife observation, wildlife photography, fishing, canoeing, hunting, and interpretive walks. Facilities include foot trails, boardwalks, paddling trails, wildlife drives, archaeological sites, observation decks and fishing piers.

Laboratory school classrooms may be observed by university professors to assess the student-teacher, but it is desired that the observation be done without the students or student-teachers aware of the observation, thereby avoiding creating a distraction or disruption of classroom activities. Before the miniaturization and transistorization of electronic camera viewing systems, laboratory schools often included elaborate direct-view observation systems with special observation decks above classrooms or observation rooms alongside the classrooms. One-way mirrors and speaker/intercom systems allowed a professor to silently observe the classroom, but without being seen by the students or the student-teacher. A modern laboratory school does not need to do anything special with building construction, and is able to use a standard-design school as a laboratory school.

The Park Plaza Apartment Complex is a group of two twin-structured residential buildings in Hurstville, New South Wales. Park Plaza One is the St. George District's tallest structure of any kind, standing at a roof height of 67.2 metres, it is 2 metres taller than the 2nd tallest in St. George, the "Proximity A Building" in Rockdale, New South Wales. Due to its height, it can be clearly seen by several observation decks in Sydney, especially the Sydney Tower observation platform. Park Plaza One sits on 25-35A Park Rd on the intersection of Cross Street and Park Road and Park Plaza Two resides on the intersection of Park Road and Woodville Street (25–35B Park Rd.) Access to the buildings is for tenants only and the entrances to the lobbies are under surveillance 24 hours a day.

" As per a July 1998 report in The Wall Street Journal, Carter eventually left the business of developing these game centres as the expenditures involved in expanding the business became unmanageable. In 2010, Dallas News reported that Carter was working on an invention titled the Airstation, a robotic equipment that could automatically fill a vehicle's tyres and perform other necessary air pressure checks. The largest structure is Centrepoint Tower standing at 309 metres, containing restaurants and observation decks. Although both the MLC Centre and World Tower are higher measured to roof at 228m and 230m respectively, the tallest conventional skyscraper measured to its spire tip is the Citigroup Centre at 243m, completed in 2000.

Beginning with the famous red car lines in California, Professor Lowe extended the line up through the rolling hills in Rubio Canyon where a small hotel was built at the base of new incline rail systems that would take a visitor up a mile along a ridge overlooking the LA Basin to the top of Echo Mountain. The top of Echo Mountain became a little city of its own with places to eat, order picnic lunches, shop at stores, dormitories for employees, power generating station to power Echo Mountain facilities. There was also a trolley repair building and pit, observation decks at various spots, trails that could be taken by hikers both up and down the mountain and into the Alpine regions, tennis courts, stables and a now little known zoo. The entire assembly of buildings were painted white and because of the view from far below, became known as "The White City in the sky".

The expansion added a Spanish Renaissance-themed façade to the stadium's east side. In addition to the improvements to the facility's exterior, the expansion added 1,000 general-admission seats, 550 club seats, and 26 suites. Texas Tech allocated $19 million to the expansion and added another $6 million through fund-raising initiatives. On November 20, 2008, university officials announced the project's fundraising goal had been exceeded. The expansion' groundbreaking ceremonies took place on November 29, 2008, and construction was completed before the 2009 football season. The $11 million project also includes a significantly upgraded jumbotron with a new sound system, a Spanish Renaissance-themed colonnade, and a north end zone concourse that connects the two stadium halves. Along with the other additions, 157 feet of ribbon board will be added on the north end zone, more than 160 linear feet in the northeast and northwest corners of the stadium, and 94 lineal feet in the south end zone over the athletic offices. The construction was completed during the 2013 season. The stadium's capacity is 60,862, making it the third-largest on- campus stadium in Texas.
