The nearest motorway junction is Federal Highway 5 at Karlsruhe-Basel in Rastatt. The Rastatt-Freudenstadt (Murgtalbahn) line also runs through the town, having done so since the line was electrified in 2002. The Karlsruhe light rail line has also provided direct service to Gaggenau since that time.

Slapton is a small village in Northamptonshire, England, about from Towcester and the same from Silverstone. It is close to the A43 road which links the M40 motorway junction 10 with the M1 junction 15A at Northampton. Central London is about 60 miles south of M40 junction 10. At the 2011 Census the population remained less than 100 and was included in the civil parish of Whilton.
Another key employer with a large premises at Ashchurch is the company founded by British inventor and businessman Sir George Dowty (1901-1975). Two divisions of the company were once based at Ashchurch: Dowty Seals and Dowty Mining, but only Seals maintains a current presence there. Ashchurch pays host to more or less half of Tewkesbury's industry with several businesses growing up around the M5 motorway junction.
Hillam is situated just over 6 miles west of the market town of Selby. It lies 2 miles east of the A1(M) motorway junction 42, and 4 miles north of the M62 junction 33, at Ferrybridge. The A63 road, Leeds to Selby, runs parallel to the northern boundary of the parish. The York and North Midland Railway passes to the west of Hillam.
The A5 trunk road lies at the heart of Dunstable's transport infrastructure, directing movement north and south. This movement is complemented by the M1 motorway east of the town in Luton. The nearest motorway junction is J11, which is about to the east of the town centre via the A505. Although congested, the town's roads provide the means to connect to the country's motorways systems.
Abington services is a motorway service station near the village of Abington, Scotland. The service station is located next to the M74 motorway and is accessed using motorway junction 13 in both the northbound and southbound directions. It is owned by Welcome Break. In a 2001 survey by Which, Abington was the only service area to be given an excellent rating for its food.
Accessed 9 March 2012 Chepstow town centre has over 130 shops within easy walking distance of 1,000 car park spaces. There are 16 hotels, bars and public houses, and 15 restaurants and cafes. The town has Tesco and M&S; Foodhall supermarkets in or adjoining the town centre, together with a Lidl store at Bulwark. There is a B & M store close to the motorway junction.
The A556 is a road in England which extends from the village of Delamere in Cheshire West and Chester to the Bowdon Interchange in Cheshire East, bordering Greater Manchester. The road contains a mixture of single and dual carriageway sections and forms a large part of the route between Manchester and Chester. It also acts as a major access route to Chester/North Wales to the west & to Manchester to the east for the conurbation of towns and villages around the Dane Valley centering on Winsford and Northwich, the central part which forms the Northwich Bypass Between Davenham and Lostock Gralam suffers because of the sheer amount of commuter traffic from this area. The part of the route between the M6 motorway junction 19 and the M56 motorway junction 7 is a major route into Manchester and has been recently upgraded to a four-lane dual carriageway.
Niort has a railway station on the TGV route between Paris and La Rochelle, Gare de Niort. Direct TGV to Paris Montparnasse station takes 2 hours and 15 minutes. Niort is a road and motorway junction, connected to Paris and Bordeaux by the A10 motorway, with Nantes by the A83, and with La Rochelle by the N11. It is the largest French city to offer free mass transit.
Longbridge Interchange (also known as Longbridge Island) is a major road and motorway junction between Warwick and Sherbourne, Warwickshire, connecting the A46 road and A429 road respectively to the M40 motorway at junction 15. For many years, it was deemed inadequate in handling the volume of traffic, which in 2009 was estimated to be in the region of 75,000 vehicles daily; a bypass was built during 2008-2009 which relieved congestion.
Stonehouse is a town in the Stroud District of Gloucestershire in southwestern England. The town centre is 2.5 miles east of the M5 motorway, junction 13. Stonehouse railway station has a regular train service to London. The town is situated approximately 9 miles south of Gloucester city centre and 3.5 miles west of central Stroud, though following recent development it is partially contiguous with the Ebley district of Stroud.
The A7 is being upgraded from the Bordesholm motorway intersection to the Hamburg Northwest motorway junction on 65 kilometers from four to six lanes. This measure will be realized through a public-private partnership and should cost a total of 600 million euros. The official starting signal for the major project in Schleswig-Holstein was on 1 September 2014. Already in May, preparations were started, especially in Hamburg.
Poulton-with-Fearnhead is a civil parish and suburb of Warrington, Cheshire, England. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 17,019. The parish includes northern and eastern suburbs of Warrington, including Padgate, Fearnhead, Cinnamon Brow, Blackbrook, Longbarn, Bruche and Paddington. From northwards clockwise, it borders the parishes of Croft (at a point on a motorway junction), Birchwood, Woolston, the unparished area of Warrington, then the parish of Winwick.
The southern section begins SSE of the northern section, at the Bicester junction 9 of the M40 motorway. It continues south as the straightest (western) part of the Oxford Ring Road, crossing the River Thames on the A34 Road Bridge. It then bypasses Abingdon, Didcot, and Newbury before finishing at the southern Winchester turning of the M3 motorway, junction 9. This part of the A34 forms the E05 European route.
Road transport links include the A48 trunk road to the M4 motorway (Junction 44). It has its own railway station to the east, served by the Transport for Wales Rail Swanline service between Cardiff and Swansea. The railway runs through a cutting, designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel. Owing to the risk of landslip from the earth banks of this cutting, Brunel designed four flying arches to hold the cutting walls apart.
Gorbitz runs through the four-lane highway in part 173, which was recently expanded to the feeder road. It connects the southwestern part of the city with the motorway junction "Gorbitz" at the 17th Highway. Gorbitz is the location of the largest of the Dresden tram depot. Scheduled traffic Gorbitz is accessed regularly for three tram lines (2 Kleinzschachwitz - Gorbitz, 6 Gorbitz - Niedersedlitz, 7 Weixdorf – Pennrich), serving eight stops.
A new hotel and Toby Carvery has been built on Capitol Park close to the M1 motorway junction. The Dodworth Bypass, near junction 37 on the M1, was completed in early 2007. The bypass allows commuters to travel from central Barnsley, or the motorway, to Silkstone and surrounding areas without travelling through Dodworth. A new business park called Capitol Park, part funded through the European Objective One scheme, is under construction along the bypass.
Craigend is a neighbourhood in the Scottish city of Glasgow. It is situated north of the River Clyde, immediately west of Garthamlock, east of Hogganfield Park and Ruchazie and separated from Cranhill and Queenslie to the south by the M8 motorway (Junction 11 of which directly serves the area). An area of open ground (Cardowan Moss nature reserve) is to the north. The local landmarks are two water towers, which are illuminated at night.
Since 1959 it was planned to open an S-Bahn line in the direction of Berlin Schönefeld Airport. Since a motorway junction was planned near the station, the route runs south of the station in a slight arc on the left hand side of the highway section. On 26 February 1962, the new station on the route to the airport went into operation. The roofless island platform had a small reception building with ticket office.
Clay Cross town centre is currently undergoing a £22m redevelopment which has so far included a new supermarket, new bus station and new relief road. The second phase of this is due to start which will see a new parade of shops plus a new medical centre. Eventually the site of the former junior and infant schools which is located in the town centre will be redeveloped. M1 motorway junction 29 is five miles away.
The nearest large towns are Rugby, north west, and Daventry, south. The A5 road, following the course of the Roman Watling Street, passes about a mile east. Rugby has the nearest railway station on the West Coast Main Line, with trains to London Euston and several other parts of the country. It is about north via the A5 to the M1 London to Yorkshire motorway junction 18 and about south to junction 16\.
Wisley gives its name to the nearby road intersection of the A3 Portsmouth Road (which runs across much land of the village) and the London Orbital M25 motorway, Junction 10. The village is equidistant between Cobham and Woking, in the Borough of Guildford. It is the home of the Royal Horticultural Society's Wisley Garden. The River Wey forms part of the western part of the village, but is partly on both banks within Pyrford.
Cessange (, ) is a quarter in south-western Luxembourg City, in southern Luxembourg. Most of the quarter is covered by open fields to the south-west of Luxembourg City proper. At the centre of the quarter is the Croix de Cessange: a motorway junction between the A4 and the A6. Next to the intersection is Stade Boy Konen, which plays host to FC CeBra 01, Rugby Club Luxembourg, and the Luxembourg national rugby union team.
The village is located east of "Simister Island", motorway junction 18 which links the M62, M66 and M60 motorways. Thousands of vehicles a day use this motorway intersection and the traffic noise is often regarded as a nuisance but not a part of the village by the residents. The main thoroughfare, Simister Lane, is often used as a rat run for cars travelling to and from Prestwich, Middleton and Junction 19 of the M60.
An approximately 160-meter-long section of this original route is still preserved in a forest near Elisabethstraße in Bad Schwartau. At the point where today the junction of the motorway towards Fehmarn and Lübeck- Siems (A 226) is located, was formerly a motorway junction as a left-hand trumpet, which - in contrast to today - was navigable in each direction. This triangle was still referred to as Eutiner branch in the 1950s.
Freight traffic ceased to use the line completely in 1993 when Blue Circle cement stopped using the line to transport cement from its works in Eastgate. The nearest airport to the town is Durham Tees Valley Airport at around drive South-East of Bishop Auckland. The nearest motorway junction is Junction 60 of the A1(M), which is around away. The town has a bus station with a number of bus routes serving the town.
Darton lies on the River Dearne, directly to the east of Kexbrough, and is situated about west of Mapplewell, north of Barnsley, south- west of Wakefield, south-east of Huddersfield, south of Leeds, and north of Sheffield. It is served by the A637 road and is bisected by the M1 motorway (junction 38 being a mile to the north). Its location is approximately , at an elevation of around above mean sea level.
At the E19/A12 motorway junction, trains leave the regular line to run on new dedicated high-speed tracks to the Dutch border (40 kilometres away) at up to 300 kilometres per hour. The route parallels the E19 motorway until the border, which has required the building of several bridges. The line passes through Schoten, Brasschaat, Brecht, Wuustwezel, and Hoogstraten, before crossing the border into the Netherlands and connecting to the Dutch HSL-Zuid.
Upper Heyford is a village and civil parish west of Northampton, just before Weedon, Northamptonshire, England. It sat along the former A45 road until a bypass opened on 15 November 2018, and is close by road to the M1 London to Yorkshire motorway junction 16, north of London and southeast of Birmingham. The village of Nether Heyford, with which it shares a primary school, church and other facilities, is about to the south.
Likewise, the junction Chorin was built only after 1945. This also explains the short distance for Reichsautobahnen Joachimsthal junction of about 1.5 kilometers. The now integrated into the cross Barnim branch of the A 11 from the Berlin ring was called in the GDR branch Penkun or branch Prenzlau and was renamed in the 1990s in "triangle Schwanebeck". The motorway junction was used 1952-1973 as Bernauer loop for car and motorcycle races.
Business parks also adorn the gateway into Leicester; Grove Business Park's entrance is less than one mile from the motorway junction and is home to Mattioli Woods, British Gas, Topps Tiles and the Leicester Marriott Hotel. Meridian Business Park is next to both Thorpe Astley and the Meridian Leisure Centre, also houses several well-known businesses including Makro, Sytner, Samworth Brothers and Southern Fire and Rescue Station, the only such station located within the district.
East Hunsbury is a large residential area in the south of the town of Northampton, England, from the town centre and from the M1 motorway, junction 15. For administrative purposes it is part of the Borough of Northampton. It is part of the Hunsbury residential area, which also includes West Hunsbury on the west side of Towcester Road. Shelfleys is the original name for the area of Northampton currently referred to as West Hunsbury.
Shevington has good communications via the M6 motorway (junction 27) which progressed through the parish in 1963 and the Manchester to Southport Line railway, with stations at Gathurst and Appley Bridge which first opened in the 1850s. From these stations there are direct rail links to both Southport and Manchester, as well as connections at Wigan to the West Coast Main Line. There is also a connection to the M58 motorway via nearby junction 26 of the M6.
Newton is a small suburb of Auckland City, New Zealand, under the local governance of the Auckland Council. It had a population of 1,641 in the 2013 census. Since the construction of the Central Motorway Junction in 1965–75, Newton has been divided into two parts, and as a result, lost much of its size and coherence. The northern part is centred on Karangahape Road, and the southern part on Newton Road and upper Symonds Street.
Originally the A345 extended north from Marlborough to a junction with the A419 at Commonhead, south east of Swindon. From there it went through Swindon to meet the A419 again at Blunsdon. When the M4 motorway was opened, the section from Marlborough to the motorway junction 15 became a northern extension of the A346. From the motorway to Commonhead, the road became part of the A419, and the route through Swindon was renumbered A4259 and A4311.
Worle railway station is located in the east of Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset serving the suburbs of Worle, West Wick and St Georges. The surrounding area is primarily residential, but with several commercial developments, including the Worle Parkway office development next to the station. The station is located just off the B3440 Bristol Road, near the M5 motorway junction 21 and the A370. There is a car park on the north, east and south sides of the station.
In the years up to 1940, the rest of the Reichsautobahn Oberhausen (following the A 2) was built over Cologne to Wiesbaden sections. The 25-kilometer section from Cologne-Mülheim to Mettmann was opened on May 21, 1936 to traffic. In the same year, the section from Breitscheid to Oberhausen-Lirich / Duisburg-Meiderich was completed in the northerly direction. In 1937, the northern continuation of the current motorway junction Oberhausen and the gap closure between Mettmann and Breitscheid followed.
In June 1950, the construction work on the motorway south of Wiesbaden was resumed. The completion of the 3.5 km section to Weilbach was 1951, the following 17.4 km to Frankfurt-South were inaugurated on 10 July 1956. This was near the Frankfurt Rhein-Main airport for linking with the Federal Highway 5, the Frankfurter Kreuz and thus the first motorway junction in West Germany. The 214 km section from Frankfurt to Erlangen-Tennenlohe was built within nine years.
A goods only link to a rail head at Donnington, on part of the former Wellington to Stafford line, has been re-opened. There has been some campaigning to re-open the whole of the line from Shrewsbury to Stafford through Wellington, Leegomery, Hadley, Trench, Donnington, and Newport. Wellington is located at the western terminus of the M54 motorway Junction 7 and has good bus services making it one of the most accessible towns in Shropshire.
Starting at Marble Arch in London, the A5 runs northwest on the Edgware Road through Kilburn and Cricklewood. The A5 number disappears at the A41 near Edgware but the original road continues as the A5183 through Elstree, Radlett, St Albans, Redbourn and Dunstable. A few miles north of Dunstable, the A5 regains its identity at the M1 motorway junction 11A, rejoining the old Roman Road and passing through Hockliffe before becoming a dual carriageway as it approaches Milton Keynes.
Exiting north from Balsall Common, the road becomes a dual carriageway. It then arrives at a major roundabout known as Stonebridge, where it crosses the A45 between Coventry and Birmingham. In recent years a flyover for the A45 has been built to alleviate traffic congestion on the roundabout. The A452 continues as dual carriageway for a short while, but then exits with the dual carriageway section continuing as the A446 up to M6 motorway, junction 4.
The expansion should take place until 2018. On 16 December 2016, Prime Minister Albig released the first section of the 6-lane A7 between the Bordesholm motorway junction and the AS Neumünster-Nord interchange. It has been agreed that the operating company will carry out the remaining work on the six- kilometer stretch between Neumünster and Bordesholm and then transfer it to the state of Schleswig-Holstein. The other 59 kilometers operates and receives the company until 2044.
The village of Ölper was incorporated into the city of Braunschweig in 1934. Recent developments have included the construction of a motorway junction in 1974–78 and the creation of the Ölpersee, a large lake in former gravel workings. Today, although it is now largely a dormitory suburb, there are still four active farms in Ölper including the only dairy farm within the city boundaries. Amongst local clubs and societies, BSV Ölper 2000 is the local association football team.
Road signs are somewhat confused regarding the correct spelling of the name of the area. For example; signs on the M50 motorway (Junction 15) call it Kilternan while signs at the junction on the adjoining roads refer to "Kiltiernan", even though both sets were erected at roughly the same time. Local government documents and ordnance survey maps refer to Kiltiernan while many local people spell the name without the "i". Locally, Kilternan is the most acceptable form.
Dual carriageway B30 near Achstetten B30 in Gaisbeuren The B30 starts at Ulm, passing the cities of Laupheim, Biberach an der Riß, Bad Waldsee, Weingarten and Ravensburg, terminating at Friedrichshafen. Originally planned to continue to Günzburg and passing the motorway interchange at Neu-Ulm, this stretch has never been completed. The motorway junction at Neu-Ulm, however, has partially been completed. The first 40 km (approximately 25 miles) from Ulm to Biberach are laid out as a dual carriageway.
In recent years, the city made large-scale reconstruction historic district, entrance roads, vital infrastructure. A new Turkish Park and the cascade of fountains. By the end of 2012 Magtymguly Avenue had been completely renovated, the new route merged with the city's waterfront Bahry Hazar, providing the west motorway junction Balykçy double out of the city along the dike, paved across the Soymonov bay speed motorway Turkmenbashi Airport—Awaza. In 2014, the Oilworkers Palace of Culture, which was built in 1951, was renovated.
After passing under the Schloss-Röttgen tunnel (1,047 m) the line turns to run parallel and to the north of the A59 in a northeasterly direction to the Airport interchange and the Porz-Grengel motorway junction. It then enters into the 4,210 m Airport Tunnel. It passes the Wahner Heide nature reserve and through the airport, the airport station and back under the A59 completely underground. The route then returns to the surface and passes between Eisdorf and Wahn on a ridge.
Between the Hamburg-Southeast intersection with the A 25 and the Horster triangle with the A 7, an eight-lane expansion is planned, to Hamburg-stillhorn in urgent need, from there in further demand with planning rights. The further course to the Buchholz Triangle is to become six lanes (further need with planning right). In the 2020s, the newly built A 26 is to be connected to the A1 by the Hamburg-Stillhorn junction is expanded to the motorway junction.
The stub as far as Measham via Donisthorpe remained open to serve the colliery until 1981 when the stub near Overseal Junction was closed and lifted. The site was still traceable after closure of the stub but has since been filled in and forms a footpath from Moira to Spring Cottage via Donisthorpe and Moira. The village is north of the northernmost junction of the M42 motorway (Junction 11), where it becomes the A42 towards East Midlands Airport and Nottingham.
The M23 is a motorway in the United Kingdom, running from the south of Hooley in Surrey, where it splits from the A23, to Pease Pottage, south of Crawley in West Sussex where it rejoins the A23. The northern end of the motorway starts on what is effectively a spur north of junction 7 of the M25 motorway (junction 8 on the M23). From Hooley it runs for past Redhill, Gatwick Airport and Crawley. A spur runs from junction 9 to Gatwick Airport.
SH 16 begins in Central Auckland at the corner of The Strand, Tamaki Drive and Quay Street, directly opposite the Port of Auckland. It travels south via The Strand where it reaches the lights at Beach Road and Parnell Rise where it changes to Stanley Street. After one more set of lights at Alten Road, SH 16 becomes coextensive with the Auckland Northwestern Motorway. The highway travels through the Central Motorway Junction where there are exits to both northbound and southbound.
Hackleton is a village located in the south of the English shire county of Northamptonshire (Northants) in the district of South Northamptonshire, just north of Buckinghamshire. It is south of Northampton town centre, and by road to the M1 London to Yorkshire motorway junction 15 and north of junction 14. London is south via junction 14 and southeast of Birmingham via junction 15. It lies on the busy B526 road (former A50) from Northampton to Newport Pagnell, between Horton and Wootton.
Although the municipality is located outside of the more urban areas of the district, it still has well-developed transport links with a link road from Cully to Chexbres. The nearest motorway junction is the A9 road which was opened in 1974 to connect Lausanne with Sion and crosses Chexbres, about 3 km from Epesses. On 2 April 1861, a railway station was established on the Lausanne-Villeneuve. There is also a daily bus service which serves the route from Cully to Chexbres.
Terni is connected with the A1 motorway, the European route E45 and National Road Flaminia by the RATO, a motorway junction. Terni railway station is part of the Ancona–Orte railway, and is also a junction station for two secondary lines, the Terni–Sulmona railway (which links Terni with L'Aquila) and the Terni–Sansepolcro railway (FCU) (which serves Perugia). One of the most important national freight stations is located nearby. The local urban and suburban transport service, ATC, runs 90 bus lines.
At the motorway junction Ulm / Elchingen, the A8 (Luxembourg- Karlsruhe-Stuttgart-Munich-Salzburg) is crossed. South of Ulm it goes through the Illertal parallel to the river back to Bavaria, via Memmingen (cross with the A 96 Lindau Munich) and Kempten (branch to the A 980 to Oberstdorf), over the 2009 completed section through the Reinertshoftunnel to the edge of the foot of the Alps. There, the lane becomes one lane and flows into the border tunnel Füssen to Austria.
Cherhill lies on an old coaching road, now called the A4, which runs from central London to Bristol. Its nearest railway station is on the Great Western Main Line, which is a stop for direct services between London Paddington and Bristol Temple Meads. The nearest motorway junction is junction 17 of the M4 north of Chippenham, away from Cherhill. The village is served by the Wigglybus scheme, which runs from Cherhill and other surrounding villages into nearby Calne and connects to further transport links.
The town is situated on the A228 road connecting the Medway Towns with Tonbridge. The M20 motorway junction 4 is two miles south of the town and affords good access to London and the Channel Ports. The Snodland by-pass takes heavy commercial traffic away from the town centre (an area commonly referred to as "the village" by residents). The railway station was opened on 18 June 1856, on an extension of the North Kent Line from Strood to Maidstone (SER) along the Medway Valley Line.
The NEC was originally going to be built adjacent to the M1 motorway (junction 21) near Leicester but it was turned down by Leicestershire County Council with claims that "The big shows won't move away from London". The building was designed by Edward Mills. In November 1971, the Secretary of State for the Environment granted outline planning approval for the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham. On 16 February 1973, then Prime Minister Edward Heath travelled up from London to cut a white ribbon and initiate its construction.
The Bundesstraße 528 forms the southern bypass of Kamp-Lintfort, which had already been foreseen in the federal traffic route plan for quite some time. The construction work has been completed. The first part of the B 528 between the L 476 "Friedrich-Heinrich-Allee" and the motorway junction Kamp-Lintfort (A 57 / A 42) was released for traffic on 19 December 2006. The second section between the L 476 and the B 510 in the west of Kamp-Lintfort is currently under construction.
The motorway junction will be assigned the number 69 on the A 1. This was already taken into account at the time of the number assignment for the connection points: The Bramsche junction of the A 1 has the number 68 and the following junction Osnabrück-Nord has been assigned the number 70. At Münster, the highway is already six lanes to Münster's third junction Münster-Hiltrup / Amelsbüren. The new interchange is located directly on the new Hansa Business Park and was released in October 2014.
State Highway 16 (SH 16) is a New Zealand state highway linking central Auckland with Wellsford, via Auckland's Northwestern Motorway, Helensville and Kaukapakapa. It provides an alternative to for traffic travelling between Auckland and parts of Northland from Wellsford northwards. Within the Auckland metropolitan area, SH 16 mostly runs along the Northwestern Motorway, the major exception being the first 2 km between the Port of Auckland and the Central Motorway Junction. Outside the Auckland metropolitan area, SH 16 is a single carriageway with at-grade intersections.
Homes on the steep slopes of Mynydd Gelliwastad dominating Ynystawe. Ynystawe (also Ynysdawe in Welsh; ) is a village in the City and County of Swansea, Wales, and in the electoral ward of Morriston. It is north of the M4 motorway junction 45 between Ynysforgan and Clydach in the Swansea Valley. The Welsh name Ynystawe or Ynysdawe derives from ynys, meaning "island" or "river- meadow", and Tawe, the name of the river running immediately to the east and which gives the Welsh name of Swansea, Abertawe.
Horse and carts used by Yeates Removals in 1910 Clevedon has light industry, mainly on industrial estates such as Hither Green, near the M5 motorway junction. It is also a dormitory town for Bristol. The Clerical Medical pensions and investments group, part of HBOS, was based in the town on the former site of the Hales Cakes factory, but after its closure, North Somerset Council began talks on taking over the lease. Percy Daniel & Co are organ builders, whose work includes that of Brentwood Cathedral.
West Hunsbury is a large housing estate in the south of the town of Northampton, from the town centre, from the M1 motorway, junction 15A and from junction 15. The motorway can be seen and heard as most of the area is elevated and the wind's prevailing direction is westerly. It is part of the Hunsbury residential area, which also constitutes East Hunsbury east of Towcester Road. Shelfleys is an earlier name for the area and still appears on signs, maps and bus destination indicators.
On May 17, 2010, the Autobahndirektion Südbayern presented the final report of the study. The presentation of the report comes to the conclusion that "taking into account the measures for the prevention and reduction of interventions, the closing of the gap in the motorway ring is basically meaningful and feasible". The final report will provide a planning recommendation for two of the original routes studied. Both routes connect the motorway junction Munich- Southwest with different sections of the A 995 in Unterhaching or Taufkirchen.
On 1 July 1970, the Weycock section of the road was formally upgraded to Principal Road Status after being widened and improved. There is currently a proposal to upgrade this road to improve access to CIA. The improvements include adding straighter sections and other works to increase speeds along the road, and to extend the route designation to include the road between Sycamore Cross and the M4 Motorway Junction 34 (Miskin). The extension would also have upgrades including straighter sections to allow for faster speeds.
Camberley is in the far west of Surrey, adjacent to the boundaries of Hampshire's Hart district and Berkshire's Bracknell Forest district. It lies directly between the A30 national route and M3 motorway (junction 4 exit). It is at the northern edge of the Blackwater Valley conurbation, north of Farnborough, south of Bracknell and east of Basingstoke. The smaller town of Frimley, being so close to Camberley, is often regarded as part of the town, although the two are, for the most part, separated by the M3 motorway.
The venue is served by an hourly bus service from Newport railway station and Newport bus station, with a journey time of 25 minutes from the city centre to the venue door. The service runs between 6.25am and 6.35pm every hour at ten to the hour drop off and ten past the hour pickup. It is four miles east of Newport city centre and the major road access is M4 motorway junction 24, then B4237 Chepstow Road. The site is equidistant from both Bristol Airport and Cardiff Airport (31 miles).
Neuburg am Inn is located in the Danube-region forest high above the Inn River, which forms the natural border with Upper Austria. In 2006, a bridge over the Inn was opened to pedestrians and cyclists, which now connects Neuburg to the opposite bank. By Neuburg is the major road B 12, which connects it to the city of Passau 10 km further north and a further 15-kilometer link to Pocking. Just 6 km from the community is the motorway junction ‘’Passau-south’’, a link to the Autobahn 3.
The two nations also pledged co-operation in field ranging from anti-narcotic efforts, to co-operation in an effort to reduce climate change. The two nations also agreed to increase co-operating between the banking sectors of the two countries, as well as to establish closer ties between China Central Television and the Pakistan Television Corporation. Confucius Institute at University of Punjab is planned to be soon launched in 2019. Moreover, Rashakai Special Economic Zone on M1 Highway a motorway junction near Nowshehra is planned as well.
The old N3, between Clonee and Dunshaughlin The route, known as the Navan Road as it leaves Dublin, starts at its junction with the M50 motorway (Junction 6) and then bypasses Blanchardstown, Mulhuddart and Clonee with a dual carriageway. The dual carriageway changes into the M3 motorway near the Meath border by-passing Dunshaughlin and Navan. Near Kells the route continues as the N3 dual carriage way to the border with County Cavan. It then passes through Virginia, past Cavan Town and continues past Butlersbridge and through Belturbet.
Petržalka is connected to the rest of Bratislava by five bridges, of which three are used for local traffic (Nový Most, Starý most and Most Apollo) and two for international traffic (Lafranconi Bridge and Prístavný most). Starý most, from the first of January 2009, was closed to all traffic except for public transport, bicycles and pedestrians. Petržalka is located near a major international motorway junction, where the D1 and D2 motorways meet. There is a road border crossing into Austria along Viedenska cesta near the intersection of the D1 and D2.
View looking north over Auckland's Southern Motorway from Bremner Road overbridge at Drury, Auckland The Auckland Southern Motorway (also known as the Southern Motorway, and historically as the Auckland–Hamilton Motorway) is the major route south out of the Auckland Region of New Zealand. It is part of State Highway 1. The motorway is 45 kilometres in length, with 28 junctions including termini. It runs from the Central Motorway Junction in central Auckland, through Manukau City, Papakura, and Drury, before terminating onto the Waikato Expressway at the top of the Bombay Hills.
The continuous route led north towards Ratekau on the route of today's L 181 between the L 309 and the junction Sereetz the A 1. Also this stretch was three-lane with middle passing stripes. After about 1500 meters, the highway ended at a triangular junction south of Ratekau, where the route in the highway (today's L 309, then B 207) ended and found its end. This threading was officially called Eutin as a motorway junction, which at that time was not a geographical, but a pure direction determination.
Stage 1 of the project was opened on 3 December 2015, and Stage 2 opened in December 2017. The last part of the route to the waterfront remains incomplete as of 2019. Once completed, the route will give access from Upper Queen Street to the Auckland CBD and the cycleway along the waterfront. Stage 1 utilises an unused off-ramp in the Central Motorway Junction (CMJ) where State Highway 1 and 16 cross - this is the section that is called Lightpath - plus the first three street blocks of Nelson Street up to Victoria Street West.
However, these led immediately at the end of the ramps in a curve on the provisional junction Grenzallee. As part of the construction work for section 16, the direct exit to Grenzallee was closed and an exit to a bypass built. As a regular junction, additional ramps to the eastern side of the junction Buschkrugallee are built into the motorway junction. The western side of the junction are the tunnel accesses of the tunnel center Britz, which formed a half-junction until the opening of the triangle and the end of the A 100 were.
On Tuesdays there was a small outdoor market in Great Dockray and Cornmarket. This ceased in the early 21st century, since when a small farmers' market has been held in the Market Square once a month. On Saturdays, Cumbria's largest outdoor market takes place at the Auction Mart alongside the M6 motorway junction 40. The main shopping areas in the town centre are Middlegate, Little Dockray, Devonshire Street/Market Square, Cornmarket, King Street, Angel Lane and the Devonshire Arcade and Angel Square precincts with some shops in Burrowgate, Brunswick Road and Great Dockray.
The building includes, besides the house of religions, 88 apartments, shops, catering services and offices on a floor area of approximately . The location Europaplatz is situated in Bern-Ausserholligen, and served by S-Bahn, Tram Bern West, bus lines and the motorway junction. The Bern main train station and the city centre are accessible in a few minutes. The city of Bern granted planning permission for the project in April 2007 with a cost of about 50 million Swiss Francs, of which about 15 million Swiss Francs were related to the Haus der Religionen.
One of the Birmingham terminations of the Grand Union Canal (originally here named the Birmingham and Warwick Junction Canal) is under the M6 motorway just east of Gravelly Hill Interchange ("Spaghetti Junction", M6 Junction 6). Here, at Salford Junction, it meets the end of the Tame Valley Canal and the Birmingham and Fazeley Canal to Birmingham (south) and Tamworth (north-west). Above Salford Junction are the slip roads to Birmingham's busiest motorway junction. Below it are the confluences of the Hockley Brook and River Rea into the River Tame.
Hungerford railway station Hungerford is situated on several transport routes, of both historic and current importance, including the M4 motorway (junction 14), the Old Bath Road (A4), and the Kennet and Avon Canal (opened 1811). It also has a railway station on the Reading to Taunton line; a reasonable rail service to Newbury, Reading and London means that the Hungerford has developed into something of a dormitory town which has been slowly expanding since the 1980s. Many residents commute to nearby towns such as Newbury, Swindon, Marlborough, Thatcham and Reading.
The use of the name Braunstone Town is more recent, and is an attempt by Braunstone Town Council to distinguish their village from the council estate of the same name. Braunstone Town is adjacent to the M1 motorway (junction 21) and is adjoined by the Meridian Business and Leisure Parks, and the Fosse Shopping Park and Grove Triangle retail outlets. Although the parish doesn't have a railway station of its own, Leicester station is close. Leicester PlusBus, is a scheme where train and bus tickets can be bought together at a saving.
Maroggia is served by the Maroggia-Melano station, situated on the border with the adjoining municipality of Melano, which is on the Gotthard railway just to the south of the Maroggia Tunnel. The A2 motorway, which links Lugano and the north of Switzerland with Chiasso and Italy, passes through Maroggia, with the motorway's San Nicolao Tunnel on the municipality's northern border. However, there is no motorway junction within the municipality, with traffic having to use local roads to access junctions at Melide/Bissone to the north, or Mendrisio to the south.
The River Mersey was not bridged in this area until 1745 (and then not continuously as three bridges collapsed over the years) so travelling to Didsbury meant fording the Mersey or crossing in a boat. Until the railway in 1864, the road from Didsbury to Gatley (and then onto Styal) forded the Mersey and came through Gatley Carrs. The "Gatley Ford" was near Didsbury's Millgate Lane, suggesting the river was forded somewhere near the current M60/M56 motorway junction. Turnpikes opened across Stockport from 1725, with the road through Gatley being amongst the last, in 1820.

Aerial view of the Auckland Harbour Bridge The Auckland Harbour Bridge, opened in 1959, is the main connection between the North Shore and the rest of the Auckland region. The bridge provides eight lanes of vehicle traffic and has a moveable median barrier for lane flexibility, but does not provide access for rail, pedestrians or cyclists. The Central Motorway Junction, also called 'Spaghetti Junction' for its complexity, is the intersection between the two major motorways of Auckland (State Highway 1 and State Highway 16).
At the same time, ramps opened as part of the Central Motorway Junction from Newton Road to Nelson Street and Hobson Street (now Exit 4B), connecting the Northwestern Motorway to the city centre. Traffic could access the Southern and Northern Motorways indirectly from the Nelson Street and Hobson Street intersections. In 1981, the 2.4 km section between Great North Road at Waterview and Motions Road near Western Springs opened, leaving a small 1 km gap where traffic had to use Great North Road. This gap was filled in 1983 when the St Lukes Road interchange was completed.
First Somerset & Avon bus on route 264 (Bath to Warminster) picks up a passenger at Westbury railway station The A350 road passes through the town and provides a fast route to the M4 motorway (junction 17) 21 miles to the north. A controversial Westbury Bypass was once proposed which would have reduced traffic in parts of the town but would have had a negative effect on the landscape on the east of the town. A view of the famous Creswell pond Creswell is a small village on the north- western edge of Stafford, the county town of Staffordshire, England situated on elevated ground above the wide floodplain and extensive marshes of the River Sow. Population details taken at the 2011 census can be found under Seighford. The village, just to the west of the M6 motorway (junction 14), has a population of just a few hundred, although the parish boundary also incorporates the Primepoint business park on the other side of the motorway. The village also lies close to Doxey Marshes.
Tilurij, Roman military camp, near Trilj, next to the D220 roadvjesnik.hr: Vespazijanov ili Augustov amfiteatar u Burnumu D220 is a state road in the central Dalmatia region of Croatia that connects the A1 motorway's Bisko interchange to the D60 state road, facilitating access from A1 motorway to Imotski via D60 state road and to Kamensko border crossing to Livno, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The road is long. The southern part of the road, is executed as a four-lane expressway, comprising A1 motorway junction and an interchange providing access to Ž6260 county road which runs parallel to the A1 motorway.
At 13 km in length, it was the longest section of motorway to open at once in New Zealand. At the same time, ALPURT B1, a two-lane expressway between Silverdale and the back of Orewa opened. In 2006, an upgrade to the Central Motorway Junction saw ramps open between the Northern Motorway and the Northwestern Motorway, and the Northern Motorway and Grafton Gully. Beforehand, traffic travelling from the Northern Motorway to the Northwestern Motorway or Grafton Gully had to exit at Cook Street and travel through local city streets to connect to Waitakere or the Port of Auckland.
The river span provided a head room for a width of of the wide navigation channel. The boxes vary in depth between , with the deeper section located close to the river. It forms part of the eastern spur of the M90 between junctions 10 (Craigend) and 11 (Broxden), the most northerly motorway junction in the UK. It also forms part of the important east coast road corridor from Edinburgh through to Dundee and Aberdeen. It was the single largest structure on the M90, a title it held until the completion of the Queensferry Crossing in 2017.
The center of the settlement shifted to around the intersection of the Bern-Zurich and Basel-Lucerne roads as various businesses sprang up to take advantage of the increased traffic. Industrialization began in 1825 with the establishment of a paper mill, which was followed by textile plants along the river. In the 20th Century the chemical and metal industries entered the village. In 1920 about 65% of the workers worked in industry. After the construction of the national motorway junction (A1 and A2 motorways) in Oftringen in 1967 and 1980, several shopping centers and other service businesses settled in the municipality.
It took longer to build the southern anchorage due to a diaphragm wall design due to not enough shallow bedrock. The main southern approach roads from Barton to the M180 motorway junction at Barnetby were built in the late 1970s by Clugston Construction of Scunthorpe, opening in 1978. The towers were constructed by slipforming and the north tower was completed by May 1974. The southern foundations were completed in September 1975, with the pier completed in March 1976 and the southern tower was completed by September 1976; the bridge had been planned to open in 1976.

The bridge at Upton-upon-Severn Upton used to be served by Upton-on-Severn railway station, on a branch line Tewkesbury and Malvern Railway from Ashchurch to Malvern, with the intermediate stations Tewkesbury, Ripple, Worcestershire, Upton upon Severn and Malvern Wells (Hanley Road). The Upton to Malvern section closed in December 1952 and the rest in August 1961, before the Beeching Axe. Although the M5 motorway is close by, the nearest motorway junction is Junction 1 of the M50 (which is from J8 of the M5). Upton Marina is home to Mercia Inshore Search and Rescue.

The Motorway D3 (formerly D18), sometimes called the Kysuce Motorway, is a motorway in northern Slovakia. Initially, it is supposed to be only a two lane motorway in the Čadca - Slovak/Polish border section, and four lane motorway in the remaining section Hričovské Podhradie - Čadca. It lies on these E-roads: E50, E75 and E442. It starts at the motorway junction with the D1, bypassing Žilina, then goes to the north around Kysucké Nové Mesto and Čadca, having an interchange with the R5, and ends near the village of Skalité, where it crosses the Polish border and connects to Expressway S1.
Part of the 43-square-mile Colne Valley regional park, with local woods, lakes and land by the Grand Union Canal. Most of the open land is classified as Metropolitan Green Belt. Surrounding the Iver’s are neighbouring villages and towns of Fulmer, Denham, Gerrards Cross and Wexham. Also nearby are Langley in Berkshire and Uxbridge and West Drayton in Hillingdon. The Iver’s are connected, with public transport and motorway links. Nearest motorway links are Junction 15 & 16 M25 motorway, Junction 4 & 5 M4 motorway, including the Thorney Interchange, whereby to the North of the Iver’s is Junction 1 M40 motorway as well as The A40, which is parallel to the M40.
In 1974, a new numbering system for the motorways was introduced, the previously planned A11 and internally designated route from Puttgarden to Leverkusen was along with the planned sequel to the Saarbrücken to the Federal Highway 1. Since the 1970s, the highway from Lübeck was extended bit by bit to the north. North of Lübeck was the motorway junction Bad Schwartau in the form of a fork, from which the previously continuous connection from Hamburg to Lübeck-Siems now branches off as A 226. In 1975, the section from Bad Schwartau to Neustadt in Holstein was completed, in 1979 they reached as far as Lensahn, 1980 then Oldenburg in Holstein-South.
A4 motorway bridge over the Rhine at Schaffhausen. out as an Autostrasse road at the border crossing Bargen / Neuhaus am Randen, at the border to Germany, crossing a suspension bridge at Schaffhausen over the Rhine, and continues through Zurich's wine country to Winterthur. Between Winterthur and Zurich, the A4 runs together with the developed A1 Autobahn (motorway). From Zurich the branching east from the A4 and the A1 via the so- called Nordring the motorway interchange Limmattal, the motorway runs from where the A4 and A3, since 4 May 2009, joined to the Western Bypass of Zurich; until May 2009 this section ended for the motorway junction Birmensdorf.
The canal continued on a broadly westerly course, completely obliterated now by the motorway, terminating in Townhead Basin fronting to Castle Street, at a point where Parson Street and Alexandra Parade would intersect, under the motorway junction. When the "cut of junction" was formed, a short section of new canal linking the Monkland Canal to the Forth and Clyde branch canal, it was routed north from the basin under Garngad Hill (now Royston Hill). The route then turned west under Castle Street. The grooves worn by the barge towropes can be seen on the iron facing to Castle Street bridge abutment at this point.
The A40 is a major trunk road connecting London to Fishguard, Wales. The A40 in London passes through seven London Boroughs: the City of London, Camden, Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea, Hammersmith & Fulham, Ealing and Hillingdon, to meet the M40 motorway junction 1 at Denham, Buckinghamshire. The road has been re-routed several times in the last 100 yearspart of the route of the London section of the A40 was laid out in the 1920s and 1930s when Western Avenue was builtnow most of it is grade-separated, dual carriageway (divided highway). In the 1960s Westway was constructed, easing traffic access to and from the centre of the city.
SH 20, SH 20A, and SH 20B form an almost triangular shape between the Puhinui Interchange of the Southwestern Motorway, Auckland International Airport, and the SH 20/SH 20A motorway junction. The Southwestern Motorway bypasses Auckland International Airport, with spurs SH 20A from the north and SH 20B from the east both providing airport access. SH 20A leaves the Southwestern Motorway in Māngere and travels south along an additional stretch of motorway, commonly referred to as the "Airport Motorway". The motorway passes underneath Kirkbride Road at a grade separated intersection which until 2017 was the former terminus for the motorway (and a known black spot).
The Gravelly Hill Interchange, where the M6 motorway meets the Aston Expressway, is the original Spaghetti Junction. Partly due to its central location, Birmingham is a major transport hub on the motorway, rail and canal networks. The city is served by the M5, M6, M40, and M42 motorways, and possibly the most well known motorway junction in the United Kingdom: Spaghetti Junction, a colloquial name for the Gravelly Hill Interchange. The M6 passes through the city on the Bromford Viaduct, which at is the longest bridge in the UK. Birmingham is planning a Clean Air Zone from 2020, which will charge polluting vehicles to travel into the city centre.
Blankenfelde-Mahlow is located on the federal highway B 96 between the Berlin state border (district Tempelhof-Schöneberg) and Zossen, the state road L 40 between Potsdam and King Wusterhausen and the L 76 to Teltow. The nearest motorway junction is Rangsdorf on the Federal Highway 10 (southern Berliner Ring). Since 1992, Blankenfelde-Mahlow is with the stations Mahlow and Blankenfelde (Kr Teltow-Fläming) again with the S-Bahn line 2 from Berlin on the Dresden train, after this originally to Rangsdorf going connection in 1961 in the course of the construction of the Berlin Wall and separated was set. Terminus is now Blankenfelde.
1950–1955: The County Borough of Birmingham wards of Bromford, Erdington, and Gravelly Hill. 1918–1950: The County Borough of Birmingham wards of Erdington North, Erdington South, and Washwood Heath, and part of Aston ward. In the north-east of the city of Birmingham, this is a mix of council estates, some of which are now private homes under the Right to Buy, the large Kingstanding estate and Castle Vale being examples, and generally more affluent suburbs which are private housing particularly towards the Sutton Coldfield border in Erdington itself, the strongest Conservative ward in the seat. Spanning to the city's green borders, the area includes for example Birmingham Spaghetti Junction motorway junction.
Bissone is located at the eastern end of the Melide causeway, which carries the Gotthard railway, the A2 motorway and a local road across Lake Lugano, providing the only domestic land connection between the southern section of Ticino and the rest of Switzerland. To the north, a local road connects to the Italian enclave of Campione d'Italia, whilst to the south the motorway and railway pass through tunnels (the San Nicolao Tunnel and the Maroggia Tunnel respectively) and the local road passes along the lake side. There is no railway station in Bissone, but Melide station is located just across the causeway. A motorway junction is partly located in Bissone and partly in Melide.
The course of the A 13 was initially planned differently in the early 1930s than later realized. The alignment was originally about 30 kilometers further west between Golßen and Ortrand approximately along the railway Berlin-Dresden and thus affect the villages Doberlug-Kirchhain, Finsterwalde, Luckau and Schlieben. This would eliminate the motorway junction to the A 15 and the existing motorway gap between the freeways between Leipzig, Dresden, Berlin and Cottbus would have a lesser extent. The sections from the junction Schönefeld to the Teupitz junction and from the triangle Dresden North to the junction Ortrand were completed in 1938 two lanes (two lanes each direction) and the section Ortrand Ruhland one lane.
The route leads four lanes immediately south of the Rhine past Ingelheim and Heidesheim am Rhein to the motorway junction Mainz, where the A 643 branches off to Wiesbaden. From the Ingelheim-West interchange, the hard shoulder of the southern, from the junction Heidesheim also the hard shoulder of the northern directional lane in each case up to the triangle Mainz to a regular third lane is marked and instead, isolated emergency shelters have been built. Subsequently, the A 60 forms the southern part of the Mainz ring and leads south around Mainz. Up to the intersection Mainz- South, it is only four-lane without hard shoulder and equipped with emergency shelters.
Blandford Park, in Auckland, New Zealand, was the home of association football in Auckland for much of the 20th century, and one of the country's main football grounds. Located in Grafton Gully, northeast of Grafton Bridge, roughly between the northern part of Whitaker Place and the Auckland Bowls Club in Grafton Mews, it was razed in the mid-1960s, and its site is now occupied by on- and off-ramps to the Auckland Central Motorway Junction. The ground hosted a considerable number of notable football matches, including several international fixtures and many of the Auckland regional finals and national semi-finals of the Chatham Cup. Originally owned by Morgan Blandford (for whom it is named), the park was in existence at least as early as 1913.
Polmadie (; is a primarily industrial area of Glasgow in Scotland. Situated south of the River Clyde, Polmadie is close to residential neighbourhoods including Govanhill (to the west) and Toryglen (south-east), with Oatlands and another large industrial zone at Shawfield to the north on the opposite side of major railway lines and the M74 motorway, Junction 1A of which serves the area. For over 50 years, the most prominent landmarks within Polmadie were the -high twin chimneys of a now disused waste incinerator plant operated by Glasgow City Council.Oblique aerial view centred on the fire brick works, taken from the W, Canmore (2010) This was replaced by a 'Recycling and Renewable Energy Centre' on the same site operated by Viridor with a less conspicuous stack.
The canal runs from Tame Valley Junction where it joins the Walsall Canal near Ocker Hill and Toll End, and terminates at Salford Junction where it meets the Birmingham & Fazeley Canal and the Grand Union Canal. It is long and has twin towpaths throughout. Between Tame Valley Junction and Rushall Junction it goes under the West Midlands Metro near Wednesbury and crosses over the former Grand Junction Railway (now part of the Chase Line) by aqueduct, near Tame Bridge Parkway railway station (an unusual case of the railway pre-dating a neighbouring canal). It passes over the M5 motorway near the interchange with the M6 motorway (M6 junction 8) and joins the Rushall Canal at Rushall Junction, inside the triangle formed by the motorway junction.
Much of the mid-1970s construction on the Southern Motorway involved building on-ramps and off-ramps in the Central Motorway Junction. Ramps to the western side of the CBD at Nelson Street and Hobson Street opened for southbound traffic in 1973 and northbound traffic in 1977. Ramps to Grafton Road, allowing access to the Port of Auckland, opened to southbound traffic in 1975 and northbound traffic in 1978. In 1978, the southern end was extended to Great South Road at St Stephens on the northern side of the Bombay Hills and the northern end was extended to the Northern Motorway at Cook Street/Wellington Street, allowing continuous motorway travel from Tristam Avenue on the North Shore to St Stephens.
The first stretch of the A33 is a relatively new road, built as the A33 relief road, which starts on the Inner Distribution Road and bypasses most of suburban Reading, servicing the Kennet Island residential development, Madejski Stadium and Green Park Business Park, towards the M4, where it connects at junction 11. The A36 in Salisbury acts as the city's ring road, bypassing the city centre to dual carriageway standard. Just south-east of Salisbury the largest dualled section runs for about 4 miles (6 km), bypassing the village of Alderbury. Then, the road is briefly dualled from its roundabout with the A3090 to the M27 motorway (junction 2) - this part of the road is erroneously thought by some to have been previously known as the A36(M); prior to the opening of the Totton Western Bypass on the other side of the junction, it was named as a spur of the M27, and hence is built to motorway standards. The A36 reverts to single carriageway standard through Totton until it terminates.
The further developments of the Willow Brook Centre and the addition of larger high street chains have increased the number of jobs available for local residents as well as boosting trade within Bradley Stoke. In Riesa station the line branches off along with the branch line to Nossen from the Leipzig–Dresden line. The line to Nossen branches off the left and runs to the south, while the Chemnitz line runs to the south-west and passes over highway B 169. The northern section runs through relatively flat land until the Döbeln area; the only significant engineering works on this section is the 130 m-long viaduct near Ostrava and the 80 m-long bridge over the Mulde outside Döbeln station. The concept of using the old off-ramp as a cycleway appears to first arise in the Central Motorway Junction Walking and Cycling Masterplan 2012 by the NZTA. Max Robitzsch, a transport engineer and member of Bike Auckland, is credited with helping turn this idea into reality, inspired by New York's High Line. In May 2014, he organised a walking tour on the off-ramp for members of Cycle Action Auckland and the Auckland Transport Blog, and followed up with a blog post in which he proposed to link the off-ramp to the road network south of the city centre via a ramp build from scaffolding with Karangahape Road.
