' Whilst she has been described as 'one of the most imaginative and inventive artists of her generation', and 'central' to the emerging artistic communities to which her work contributed, Finn-Kelcey never had a solo exhibition in any of the major public galleries in London (with the possible exception of a performance work at the Serpentine in 1983). A comprehensive monograph of her work was published by Ridinghouse in 2013 shortly prior to her falling ill.

Mack composed the music and libretto for his opera Angel of the Amazon, which premiered in May 2011, staged by Encompass New Opera Theatre at the Baryshnikov Arts Center in New York City and was released worldwide by Albany Records. Adolf Hitler's Germany occupied Czechoslovakia in March 1939. Because Sternberg was offered a scholarship to the University of London's Bartlett School of Architecture he was fortunate to leave Czechoslovakia in 1939, the only one of his large Jewish family to be able to do so. After World War II was declared in September 1939, the Bartlett School was evacuated to Cambridge where Sternberg studied from 1939 to 1944, completing his architectural qualifications and a graduate degree in town planning. His mentor in town planning was Sir Patrick Abercrombie who was, at that time, Britain's busiest and most imaginative planner.

In January 1980, the Seattle City Council formally accepted the sculpture as a donation to the city. During the repairs of the Fremont Bridge that began in February 2006, the sculpture was moved about east of its original location to History House, at the corner of N. 34th Street and Troll Avenue N., which runs up a hill to the Fremont Troll. The clips were first broadcast in America on The Ed Sullivan Show and in Britain on Top of the Pops, a day before the respective release dates in those two countries. On 25 February, they aired on The Hollywood Palace, a traditional US variety program hosted by actor Van Johnson, who claimed that the Beatles had created the films especially for his show. Amid screams from female members of the studio audience, Johnson described the "Penny Lane" clip as "the most imaginative treatment of a song I have ever seen". According to Rodriguez, however, Johnson's reaction was clearly bemusement at "what youth entertainment had become", as demonstrated in his mannered introduction to "Strawberry Fields Forever".

The novel is considered one of the most imaginative love stories written by any Urdu writer in the last two decades in Urdu fiction. She often imagines her own adventures and becomes a hero in the novels, such as when she wins the war in Swallows and Amazons or finds an underground spring in Pigeon Post. Roger is the youngest, originally the ship's boy, but promoted to able seaman in later books. With the support of a Humboldt fellowship, and after four years of research in Germany and Switzerland, McGrath published his third book, The Dark Ground of Spirit: Schelling and the Unconscious. The Dark Ground received many favorable reviews: “Among the most imaginative, original, at times exhilarating, studies of Schelling to appear in recent years,” wrote Jason Wirth of Seattle University. “Rarely has Schelling been written about with such clarity and passion,” wrote Paul C. According to Dunning, "all we have in the way of evidence is a third-hand anecdotal account of something that's desperately implausible, backed up by neither evidence nor even a corroborating account". Author and historian Robert F. It was also Pfefer who helped the legendary Sam Muchnick promote his first show in 1945; and in subsequent years, he constantly shifted his base of operations, running territories in Toledo, Nashville, Boston, and on the West Coast while solidifying his place among the industry's top marketers. However, while working as an agent for promoter Fred Kohler in the 1960s, Pfefer was largely blamed for ruining the Chicago territory when he booked a number of sound-alike performers like “Bummy Rogers”, “Hobo Brazil,” and "Bruno Sanmartino", thus repelling most of the industry's top-flight talent. Nonetheless, he continued booking matches until 1967; and then on September 13, 1974, Jack Pfefer died at age 79 while at a Massachusetts nursing home. Of his prize in the 1996 Leeds Piano Competition, Gerald Larner of The Times described Madžar as the most imaginative musician among the 1996 finalists. The Leeds competition propelled Madžar onto the UK scene where he also became a sought after soloist with the Royal and BBC Philharmonics, BBC Scottish Symphony, Scottish Chamber Orchestra and BBC National Orchestra of Wales, as well as throughout Europe and Asia, working with Paavo Berglund, Ivan Fischer, Paavo Järvi, Carlos Kalmar, John Nelson, Libor Pesek, André Previn, Andris Nelsons and the late Marcello Viotti. Various select partnerships are key to Aleksandar Madžar’s current performance schedule. His partnership with violinist Ilya Gringolts sees them next perform a complete Beethoven cycle at the 2008 Verbier Festival and, following the world premiere of Sir Peter Maxwell Davies' Violin Sonata at St Magnus and Cheltenham Festivals in summer 2008, recitals at Prague and Beethovenfest Bonn Festivals. His partnership with soprano Juliane Banse continues next season with a tour of Spain to Bilbao, Valencia, Leon and Lisbon’s Gulbenkian Foundation.
