Consecrated by her parents to Virgin Mary's Immaculate Conception, Ursula Benincasa (1547-1618), spent part of her youth and adult life as a hermit in the region of Saint Elmo (Naples). In 1583, she founded the Congregation of the Oblates of the Immaculate Conception of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary. She also founded the Hermitage of the Contemplative Nuns of the Immaculate Conception. The rule of both communities was approved by Pope Gregory XV on April 7, 1623.

Our Lady of Solitude Monastery is a Catholic foundation in the United States. It was founded in May 2005 by Mother Angelica, who also founded Eternal Word Television Network and built the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Hanceville, Alabama. The monastery is located about one hour west of downtown Phoenix, in the rural desert and farming community of Tonopah, Arizona. It is located within the territory of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Phoenix but is not subject to it.

In the transept there is a sepulchral monument by Arnolfo di Cambio. The church was also famous in Rome for the wooden statue of the Santo Bambino of Aracoeli, carved in the 15th century of olive wood coming from the Gethsemane garden and covered with valuable ex-votos. Many people of Rome believed in the power of this statue.
As the Scottish Reformation crisis was developing, Henry II died on 10 July 1559, and Mary Stuart became Queen Consort of France. In France, Mary and Francis II began to publicly display the arms of England in their blazon. This too was a motivation for English intervention in Scottish affairs. Detroit was elevated to an archdiocese in 1937, and Most Blessed Sacrament was chosen to be the cathedral church replacing St. Patrick's which served as cathedral since 1890. However, construction of the exterior, including the twin towers on the west facade and the flèche at the crossing, was not completed until 1951, coinciding with the 250th anniversary of Detroit's founding. The consecration on November 17, 1951, was broadcast live on local television. Plans also called for spires topping the towers, however these remain unbuilt.

The church today serves as a regional base for the Catholic Charismatic Renewal movement, hosting a number of retreats throughout the year, as well as being a parish for its immediate neighborhood. The Gratia Plena Evangelical Community is based at the church, and the former Monastery of St. Dominic is now home to members of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal. The former Monastery is now known as the Most Blessed Sacrament Friary. The parish provided clergy support to the nearby Monastery of St. Dominic until the monastery closed in the early 2000s.

In 2003, Fox retired to Hanceville, Alabama near the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament. In retirement Fox became involved in the Roman Catholic media network EWTN Among Fox's numerous television and radio appearances were on "Mother Angelica Live", "The Abundant Life"; "Bookmark"; Daily Mass; WEWN shortwave radio and Sirius Satellite Radio; and Relevant Radio. He continued to publish and remained editor of the Immaculate Heart Messenger Magazine. Ahmann died of cancer on December 31, 2001, at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C. A memorial Mass was held at the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Washington, D.C, on January 12, 2002. William L. Taylor remarked, "Mr. Ahmann was a quiet voice of conscience in the civil rights movement, who helped make the Leadership Conference the effective organization that it is today." In October 2013, Ahmann was posthumously awarded the Colman J. Barry Award for Distinguished Contributions to Religion and Society from Saint John's University.

He received his episcopal consecration on the following November 29 from Adam Cardinal Maida, with Bishops Edmond Carmody and René Gracida serving as co-consecrators, at the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament. His episcopal motto, taken from the Summa Theologica, is: ("The Word Is Sent Breathing Forth Love"). He became the youngest bishop in the United States and was the first Latino bishop in the Detroit Archdiocese.
National Shrine of The Divine Mercy The National Shrine of The Divine Mercy is a Catholic shrine located in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. The priests and Catholic and brothers of the Congregation of Marian Fathers of the Conception of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary have resided on Eden Hill in Stockbridge, since June 1944. Father Walter Pelczynski, MIC, with the assistance of local clergy and friends of the Marian community, initially purchased 50 of the that constituted the "Eden Hill" estate in November, 1943. The house was to serve as the novitiate for a newly formed province.
The narrative is prefaced by a series of letters between the early Church father Jerome and the Bishops Comatius and Heliodorus. The Metropolitan Cathedral of the Assumption of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary into Heaven () is the seat of the Catholic Archdiocese of Mexico. It is situated atop the former Aztec sacred precinct near the Templo Mayor on the northern side of the Plaza de la Constitución (Zócalo) in Downtown Mexico City. The cathedral was built in sections from 1573 to 1813 around the original church that was constructed soon after the Spanish conquest of Tenochtitlan, eventually replacing it entirely. Spanish architect Claudio de Arciniega planned the construction, drawing inspiration from Gothic cathedrals in Spain.

The nuns were subject to the Friars Minor. Some of the first nuns came from the Poor Clare monastery in Reims. A revised version of the Rule was approved by Pope Urban IV on 27 July 1263, which granted preferred name of Sorores minores inclusae, or Enclosed Sisters minor, for the nuns of Longchamp.
A number of titles of Mary found in Latin America pertain to cultic images of her represented in iconography identified with a particular already existent title adapted to a particular place. Our Lady of Luján in Argentina refers to a small terracotta image made in Brazil and sent to Argentina in May, 1630. Its appearance seems to have been inspired by Murillo's Immaculates. Our Lady of Copacabana (Bolivia): is a figure related to devotion to Mary under the title "Most Blessed Virgin de la Candelaria, Our Lady of Copacabana".

Mission La Purísima Concepción, or La Purísima Mission (originally La Misión de la Purísima Concepción de la Santísima Virgen María, or The Mission of the Immaculate Conception of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary) is a Spanish mission in Lompoc, California. It was established on December 8, 1787 (the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, hence the mission's name) by the Franciscan order. The original mission complex south of Lompoc was destroyed by an earthquake in 1812, and the mission was rebuilt at its present site a few miles to the northeast.
The poetry is attributed to Salomon Franck, although the verses are not included in his printed editions. Several of Bach's early stylistic mannerisms appear here, such as a biblical quotation in a recitative second movement rather than in a first choral movement, arias following each other without a recitative in between, and dialogue in a duet. The Chapel of the Most Blessed Sacrament (Building code: MBS; also known as MBS Chapel) is the main and largest chapel of De La Salle University in Manila, Philippines. It is located on the second floor of the south-most wing of the St. La Salle Hall, the oldest building of the university. The chapel was designed in art deco style by the commissioned architect, Tomás Mapúa. Built in the 1930s, the chapel pews were hewn from narra and carried the Signum Fidei Star, the sign of faith and the symbol of the La Salle Brothers.
All traditional sources agree that the prince led a very comfortable life before his renunciation, emphasizing the luxury and comfort he had to leave behind. He renounced his life in the palace in order to find "the good" and to find "that most blessed state" which is beyond death. The story of the Great Renunciation is therefore a symbolic example of renunciation for all Buddhist monks and nuns. The badge of the Confraternity of the Blessed Sacrament The Confraternity of the Blessed Sacrament (CBS), officially the Confraternity of the Blessed Sacrament of the Body and Blood of Christ, is a devotional society in the Anglican Communion dedicated to venerating the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist. It has worked to promote the Mass as the main Sunday service in churches, regular confession, and the Eucharistic fast. The society's motto is Adoremus in aeternum sanctissimum sacramentum, or in English, "Let us forever adore the Most Blessed Sacrament". It is the oldest Anglican devotional society.

Flavius Leo FSC, one of the sixteen Christian Brothers who were massacred in the Most Blessed Sacrament Chapel of De La Salle University on Taft Avenue, Manila during the Battle for the Liberation of Manila in World War II.
