The name of the place originated from the word “Maraming Puntod” which means an abundance of hills because of its enveloping terrain. With the onset of civilization, the people decide to clear the wilderness for more agricultural lands to till.
KY 425 begins at an intersection with US 60 and KY 136 west of Henderson, heading southeast on the two-lane undivided Henderson Bypass. The road passes through farmland with some development and comes to a bridge over an abandoned railroad line. The route curves east and comes to an intersection with US 41 Alt. KY 425 passes through more agricultural areas to the south of Henderson and intersects KY 1299.
The route continues north from this point and enters South Pymatuning Township, where the road name becomes Ivanhoe Road. The road passes through more wooded areas of residences before heading into more agricultural surroundings. PA 718 turns northwest onto Tamarack Drive and passes through a mix of woods and farms with a few homes, reaching the Ohio border. At this point, the road continues west into Ohio as SR 305.
The part of the dale from Skipton to Knottingley is heavily industrialised and continues in that vein today despite many mill closures. The East Yorkshire section of the dale is flatter and more agricultural than the upper sections. From Aire Springs the river flows past Skipton and Keighley, through Bingley, Saltaire, Shipley and into Leeds. Up until this point the river is essentially swift flowing and fed by streams and becks.
The route passes businesses in the center of town before continuing into residential areas as East Sunbury Street, passing south of Greenwood High School. The route continues into Greenwood Township and becomes Sunbury Path, as noted by open farmland. The road crosses the Cocolamus Creek and runs through more agricultural areas with some woods and homes. PA 17 passes through more open farmland as it continues into Liverpool Township.
The route continues northeast and forms a short concurrency with PA 198\. The road passes through the residential community of Grange Hall before continuing through more agricultural areas with occasional homes. PA 86 becomes Center Street before entering Woodcock, where the road passes a few residences on Main Street. The route crosses into Cambridge Township and becomes an unnamed road again, continuing through farmland and woodland with some homes.
The route briefly passes through Dover Township before crossing the Honey Run into West Manchester Township. In this area, PA 234 runs through more agricultural areas as it passes to the north of a quarry. The road comes to a bridge over the US 30 freeway and heads into industrial areas. Farther east, PA 234 heads into residential areas and comes to its eastern terminus at PA 462 just outside the borough of West York.
Mount Pamitinan, the 22nd tallest mountain in Rizal, is a popular hiking destination for beginners from Metro Manila. It has designated hiking trails consisting of a muddy and slippery assault part and a rock climbing bouldering trail. It requires only two hours to reach its summit from the sitio of Wawa. Its twin mountain to the south, Mount Binacayan, has a more agricultural terrain consisting of less explored rock and bamboo trails.
Alleged to have plotted against Kouandete and Alphonse Alley, Hachème was expelled from the armed forces in January when many southern soldiers were removed, though was brought back shortly afterwards. In mid-1970, Hachème was chosen to be the chief of staff of the Service Civique, a command whose officers did not see service. The river Yapacaní has economic significance because of the potential marketable fishing of some species that occur in their waters, as the. The banks of the river have been cleared for agriculture, which has been denounced by some environmental advocacy organizations. Colonization efforts began in Santa Cruz Department in 1954. In 1958, the trail from the Yapacaní River to the Ichilo River was widened with the hope of attracting more agricultural colonists.

At this point, PA 428 turns northeast to form a concurrency with PA 417 for a short distance before heading north onto Wallaceville Road. The route heads through more agricultural and wooded areas with a few residences, turning northwest and crossing into Plum Township. The road heads north again and passes through Wallaceville, running north-northwest through wooded areas.
PA 914 westbound past I-81 in Guilford Township PA 914 begins at an intersection with US 11 in the community of Marion in Guliford Township, heading southeast on two-lane undivided Swamp Fox Road. The road heads through farmland and crosses Norfolk Southern's Lurgan Branch. The route turns to the east and reaches an interchange with I-81. Past here, PA 914 continues southeast through more agricultural areas, crossing into Antrim Township.
Greater prairie chickens prefer undisturbed prairie and were originally found in tallgrass prairies. They can tolerate agricultural land mixed with prairie, but fewer prairie chickens are found in areas that are more agricultural. Their diet consists primarily of seeds and fruit, but during the summer they also eat green plants and insects such as grasshoppers, crickets, and beetles. These birds were once widespread all across the oak savanna and tall grass prairie ecosystem.
One of the most important cities in this region is Duisburg with the largest river port in Europe (Duisport). The region downstream of Duisburg is more agricultural. In Wesel, 30 km downstream of Duisburg, is located the western end of the second east–west shipping route, the Wesel-Datteln Canal, which runs parallel to the Lippe. Between Emmerich and Cleves the Emmerich Rhine Bridge, the longest suspension bridge in Germany, crosses the river.

The front facade is five bays wide, with elongated first-floor windows in the Greek Revival style. Windows on the front and side are topped by shallow projecting peaked lintels. The house was built about 1865, a period in which Winchester was early in a transition from more agricultural to suburban residential use. It was first owned by Albert Ayer, a prominent local politician who served for many years in a variety of civic roles.
The road continues east and passes through the residential community of Boiling Springs on 1st Street, where it follows the Appalachian Trail for a short distance. PA 174 crosses into Monroe Township and becomes Boiling Springs Road, passing through Allenberry. From here, the road turns northeast past more farms and crosses PA 74 before heading through Churchtown. PA 174 heads through more agricultural areas with some residences before coming to its eastern terminus at PA 641.
From here, the route heads east-northeast through areas of farms with homes, coming to an intersection with the northern terminus of PA 233 in Green Park. A short distance later, the road heads into Spring Township and crosses PA 74. Past this intersection, PA 274 heads south of West Perry High School and continues through more agricultural areas with some residences, passing through Elliottsburg and Dunn. The road enters Centre Township and continues through more rural areas.
PA 326 heads back into Colerain Township and enters open agricultural areas, passing through Beegletown and Charlesville. After the latter, the route turns north onto Egolf Road, heading through more agricultural areas with some woods and homes. The surroundings become more forested before the road passes through more farmland with a few woods and residences, bending to the north-northeast. PA 326 crosses into Snake Spring Township, where it makes a turn northwest to continue along Egolf Road.
From jail, he indirectly played a role in the Porto-Novo disturbances of 1923. He incited the populations of Porto-Novo and Cotonou not to pay taxes and supported a Nigerian resident for the Porto-Novo throne, which earning him accusations of being too pro-British. Demonstrations ensued for the throne claimant, and a dockyard strike broke out in Porto-Novo and Cotonou. Smaller strikes also took place in more agricultural areas, all of which the French brutally suppressed.

The route heads back into Southampton Township and runs through more farmland with a few residences, turning to the east.
Presumably there were one or more agricultural settlements in the area near the Gouwe (the current Bloemendaal district). The two routes curve west and pass residences and businesses before PA 425 splits to the southwest.
The route continues northwest before making a curve to the northeast and reaching an intersection with PA 16. At this point, PA 416 turns west to form a concurrency with PA 16 on Buchanan Trail, heading northwest through more agricultural areas. The road continues to the borough of Mercersburg, where PA 75 joins and it heads into residential areas. The three routes turn north onto Main Street and passes homes and businesses in the center of Mercersburg.
The road heads through more forested areas with a few fields and homes, turning to the east and crossing into Homer Township. Here, the route becomes Dividing Ridge Road and turns northeast through more rural areas. PA 872 heads into more agricultural areas with some residences and woods, continuing into Eulalia Township. Here, the road becomes unnamed turns north in the community of Jenkins Hill and runs through wooded areas with a few fields and homes.
They were first recorded in western Myanmar in 1998. The black stork prefers more wooded areas than the better-known white stork, and breeds in large marshy wetlands with interspersed coniferous or broadleaved woodlands, but also inhabits hills and mountains with sufficient networks of creeks. It usually inhabits ponds, rivers, edges of lakes, estuaries and other freshwater wetlands. The black stork does inhabit more agricultural areas in the Caspian lowlands, but even here it avoids close contact with people.

Route 108 splits from Route 164 by heading north on East Frisco Street, passing homes and a few businesses. Route 108 leaves Arbyrd and heads through more agricultural areas before reaching its eastern terminus at US 412. In 2012, Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) calculated 1,057 vehicles traveling north of the state line. This is expressed in terms of annual average daily traffic (AADT), a measure of traffic volume for any average day of the year.
Immediately after this intersection, the road travels across Waples Mill Pond along the Primehook Creek and runs north- northwest through more agricultural areas, crossing Slaughter Creek. The route curves northwest as it bypasses the community of Argos Corner to the southwest. Past here, DE 1 crosses Cedar Creek and passes near a couple residential subdivisions before intersecting Johnson Road. A short distance later, the road reaches an interchange connecting to DE 30 northeast of Bayhealth Hospital, Sussex Campus.
PA 138 begins at an intersection with PA 8 in Clay Township, heading to the northeast on two-lane undivided Euclid Road. The road heads through a mix of farmland and woodland with some homes, reaching the residential community of Euclid. Here, the route passes over the Canadian National's Bessemer Subdivision railroad line and turns east into forested areas with a few residences. PA 138 heads northeast again and enters more agricultural surroundings as it reaches an intersection with PA 308.
PA 216 splits from PA 616 by heading northeast on Glen Rock Road into wooded areas of homes, crossing into Springfield Township. The road continues into a mix of farmland and woodland with a few homes, making a curve to the north. The route heads northeast again before it turns southeast onto Susquehanna Trail and passes through more agricultural areas. PA 216 turns northeast onto Seaks Run Road and heads through farmland with some businesses, reaching an interchange with I-83.
PA 259 begins at an intersection with US 30 in the community of Millbank in Ligonier Township, Westmoreland County, heading north-northeast on a two-lane undivided road. The route heads through wooded areas, turning east into more woodland with some farm fields and homes. The road curves to the north-northeast again, winding northeast through more rural areas. PA 259 heads north-northeast through more agricultural areas with some woods and residences, curving northeast again as it crosses into Fairfield Township.
PA 249 splits from PA 49 to the west of the borough of Knoxville by heading north on an unnamed road, running to the west of Troups Creek. The road turns to the northwest and heads through more agricultural and wooded areas with some homes. PA 249 heads back into Brookfield Township as Troups Creek Road and passes through Austinburg before reaching its northern terminus at the New York border. At this point, the road continues into that state as NY 36.

PA 601 continues into Jenner Township, where the route curves northeast prior to a turn to the north.
In the residential community of Upton, PA 995 splits from PA 16 by turning northwest onto Lemar Road, heading through more farmland. The route turns north onto Warm Springs Road and passes more agricultural surroundings before heading into wooded areas. The road enters St. Thomas Township and passes through the residential community of Williamson before turning northeast into farmland with some woods and homes. PA 995 crosses the Back Creek and continues east through more rural areas, crossing into Hamilton Township.
A short distance later, SR 281 intersects SR 18 and the two routes form a concurrency and head east out of the city past a General Motors factory. After , the SR 18 concurrency ends and SR 281 continues due east. Outside of the Defiance area, the route's surroundings becomes much more agricultural. After exiting Defiance County, it enters Henry County. SR 281 does not pass through any incorporated villages through Henry County, but it intersects State Routes 108, 109, and 65.
Under it, at the extreme fuselage was a steerable tailwheel. It was powered by an air-cooled 225 hp (168 kW) Continental E225 flat-six engine mounted well forward and low in the nose. This initially drove a fixed pitch, two blade propeller though there were plans to replace it with a variable pitch one. The Ag-1 was followed by two more agricultural prototypes, the Transland Ag-2 and Transland Ag-3; the latter was the immediate predecessor of the Piper Pawnee.
There is little trace of these industrial activities today. PA 419 splits from PA 897 by turning north onto Market Street and passes more homes before leaving Schaefferstown. The road heads northeast into farmland with some trees and homes, crossing into Millcreek Township and becoming an unnamed road. The route curves east through more agricultural land before turning northeast again and passing through the communities of Millbach Springs and Millbach. PA 419 heads into the community of Newmanstown, where it is called Main Street and is lined with homes.
FM 1000 begins at an intersection with SH 49 in Titus County, heading east on a two-lane undivided road. The road passes through areas of farms and woods with some homes, winding to the east. The highway makes a turn to the north and runs through more agricultural areas with some patches of woodland and residences. FM 1000 crosses a Union Pacific railroad line and enters the community of Cookville, heading northwest past a few homes and businesses, ending at US 67.
The period between the two world wars was very much like the pre-war years. Negotin continued to lose on its size and importance; Zaječar was becoming the new regional center. Much of this was also happening due to poor environmental conditions in Negotin and its surroundings, as mentioned above. In the 1930s, the government and local officials started a huge irrigation project, aimed at getting rid of swamps around the town and gaining more agricultural land for the ever-growing population.
Komi cuisine consists of the cuisine of Komi Republic in the north-east of European Russia and the Komi people, and is characterized by the rich use of local foods. Significant differences separate Komis' dining tendencies in the northern and southern regions of their homeland. The road heads to the north on two-lane undivided Old Swede Road, passing residential neighborhoods in the community of Amity Gardens to the west and industrial development to the east. The route passes more homes as it turns northwest and passes through the community of Amityville. Past Amityville, PA 662 enters more agricultural surroundings with a few residences.

The route turns to the north before heading northeast into more forested areas with some small fields and residences. PA 167 curves north again and runs through more rural areas, heading north-northwest into Bridgewater Township. The route comes to an intersection with PA 706 in Tiffany, turning west to form a concurrency with that route.
The road heads past homes, curving to the north-northeast. The route heads into farmland with some homes and crosses back into Rome Township, continuing northeast as an unnamed road. PA 187 runs through more fields and woods with some homes, crossing into Orwell Township and curving to the north before heading northwest. The road turns to the northeast and passes through North Orwell, continuing through more agricultural areas with some woods and homes as it heads into Windham Township and passes through West Windham.
Bypassing Big Springs from the mouth, the river picks up more agricultural runoff as it meanders north between irrigated fields. The river then passes between Yreka and Montague, from the mouth, crossed by California State Route 3 and Interstate 5 for the final time. It then enters a canyon in the Klamath Mountains, from the mouth, and begins to parallel California State Route 263. Its mouth is on the left bank of the Klamath River, at the junction of State Route 263 and State Route 96.
PA 34/PA 274 becomes the border between Carroll Township to the west and Wheatfield Township to the east, heading through agricultural areas with a few homes before continuing into forests. In Mecks Corner, PA 274 splits from PA 34 by heading southeast onto Bloomfield Road into Wheatfield Township, soon curving to the northeast. The route heads through wooded areas with some fields and homes, turning east. The road continues through more agricultural areas with some woodland and residences, heading southeast and passing through Roseglen.
In 1992, about 48% of the arable land was used for grain, 41% for forage crops, 5% for potatoes, and 3% for flax and sugar beets. Crops accounted for one-third and livestock for two-thirds of the total value of agricultural output. Significant reforms were introduced in the early 1990s to reestablish private ownership and management in the agricultural sector. Although Lithuania succeeded in privatizing more agricultural land than Estonia or Latvia, agricultural production decreased by more than 50 percent from 1989 to 1994.

The location had been initially identified by the soldier José Velásquez in 1770 and had been favored by the Franciscans as a potential mission site. Its native name was variously given as Viñadaco, Miñaraco, and Viñatacot. In 1802, the mission was moved from its first site to a location about 6 kilometers closer to the coast with more space, more agricultural land, and better access to external supplies. When the second site ceased to function as a mission in 1832, it was turned over to local residents.

The road curves to the northeast and reaches Markelsville, where the route turns north to remain on Creek Road. The route winds northeast through more rural areas alongside the creek, turning east as it heads into more agricultural areas with some woods and reaches the community of Wila. At this point, PA 849 turns south before curving back to the east, running through more rural areas. The road enters Oliver Township and turns northeast into wooded areas before a turn to the southeast into residential areas.
PA 867 begins at an intersection with PA 869 in the community of Brumbaugh in South Woodbury Township, Bedford County, heading northeast on two-lane undivided Lafayette Road. The road heads between forested Dunning Mountain to the west and farms to the east. The route passes through more agricultural areas in a valley with occasional homes, passing through Lafayetteville before crossing into Bloomfield Township. In this area, PA 867 runs through more rural surroundings, coming to an intersection with the northern terminus of PA 868.
The reasons for these remarkable movements are not fully understood, but they have become less frequent, probably due to contraction of the western Siberian range as the steppes become more agricultural. Due to their primarily dry diet of seeds, the sandgrouse needs to drink a large volume of water. The sandgrouse's wing morphology allows for fast flight with speeds up to having been recorded. Large flocks of several thousand individuals fly to watering holes at dawn and dusk making round trips of up to per day.
Chief Mistawasis and Chief Ahtahkakoop represented the Carlton Cree. Treaty 6 included terms that had not been incorporated into Treaties 1 to 5, including a medicine chest at the house of the Indian agent on the reserve, protection from famine and pestilence, more agricultural implements, and on-reserve education. The area agreed upon by the Plains and Woods Cree represents most of the central area of the current provinces of Saskatchewan and Alberta. The treaty signings began on 18 August 1876 and ran until 9 September 1876.
With fertile soil, agriculture is the dominant industry, along with some rural tradespeople. In the late 1990s a controversial golf course was built on farmland in Weston, despite zoning laws which prohibited such developments to agricultural land. The route heads into North Newton Township and becomes Doubling Gap Road, running through farmland and woodland with some homes. PA 233 crosses the Conodoguinet Creek into Lower Mifflin Township and curves north through more agricultural areas, coming to a bridge over I-76 (Pennsylvania Turnpike). From here, the road winds north through farmland with some woods and residences, turning to the northwest. Farther northwest, the route intersects the western terminus of PA 944 before reaching the northern terminus of PA 997 near McCrea.
US 206/CR 521 reaches the community of Hainesville, where it passes through more agricultural surroundings with some development. Leaving Hainesville, the road continues into Montague Township. Near the community of Montague, CR 521 splits from US 206 by heading to the northeast. Meanwhile, US 206 turns to the northwest to run through wooded areas of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, where it comes to the Milford-Montague Toll Bridge over the Delaware River that is maintained by the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission.
MS 9W begins at an intersection with MS 9 to the north of Bruce in Calhoun County. The route heads northwest on a two-lane undivided road through a mix of woods and farmlands with a few homes. The road turns to the north and reaches the community of Banner, where the road crosses two County Roads: CR 275 and CR 267. MS 9W enters a dense forest as it curves northwest again and heads into more agricultural fields, coming to a junction with CR 284.
The route continues through more open areas of agriculture as it passes through the communities of Hockersville and Centerville, reaching an intersection with PA 233 after the latter. PA 174 continues through more farmland with some homes, passing through Cumminstown before entering Dickinson Township and intersecting PA 465 in Mooredale. At this point, PA 465 continues along Walnut Bottom Road and PA 174 heads east along West Old York Road, passing through more agricultural areas. The route heads into South Middleton Township and crosses PA 34, becoming East Old York Road at that point.
The route passes over the Allegheny Valley Railroad's W&P; Subdivision line and comes to an intersection with PA 519 in Eighty Four, at which point it crosses into Somerset Township. PA 136 continues east through areas of farms and woods with occasional homes. The road winds to the northeast and becomes the border between Nottingham Township to the north and Somerset Township to the south, passing through Dunningsville. The route heads east through more agricultural areas with a few woods and residences, heading southeast into more wooded areas of homes, running through Kammerer.
PA 262 passes more agricultural areas before passing near a housing subdivision and becoming the border between Newberry Township to the west and the borough of Goldsboro to the east. The route turns to the east to descend a hill and fully enters Goldsboro, becoming Broadway Avenue as it is lined with homes. At the town square, PA 262 turns south onto York Street and passes more residences. The road leaves Goldsboro for Newberry Township again and becomes Cly Road as it continues through a mix of woods and homes.
PA 267 enters Auburn Township in Susquehanna County and heads through a mix of farmland and woodland with some homes. The road curves to the north-northeast and runs through more rural areas, turning north and passing through Auburn Center. The route runs through more agricultural and wooded areas with some residences, passing through Rushboro before turning northwest and crossing into Susquehanna County. PA 267 heads north-northwest through more forested areas with some fields and homes, coming to an intersection with the northern terminus of PA 367 in Lawton.
The route crosses the Little Juniata River into Logan Township and comes to a bridge over Norfolk Southern's Pittsburgh Line, turning east onto West Diamond Street. The road runs through more agricultural areas before it enters the borough of Petersburg and becomes Diamond Street, passing homes. PA 305 turns north onto King Street and runs past more residences, turning northeast onto Shavers Creek Road and entering Logan Township again. At this point, the route heads through farmland with some homes and patches of woods, heading through the community of Ribot.
On April 24, Laskov presided over a huge military parade in Jerusalem to mark the tenth anniversary of Israel's independence. This took place despite warnings by Jordan that such a parade would be considered an act of aggression. During the parade, Laskov displayed Israel's latest military hardware, including weapons captured from Egypt in the Sinai and from Syria during clashes in the Hula Valley. On November 6, Syria resumed its artillery bombardment of the Galilee, while Israeli workers were involved in a massive project draining Lake Huleh to obtain more agricultural land for the country.
Cultural lake eutrophication is rarely the result of an intentional decision. Instead, lakes eutrophy gradually as a cumulative effect of small decisions; the addition of this domestic sewage outfall and then that industrial outfall, with a runoff that increases steadily as this housing development is added, then that highway and some more agricultural fields. The insidious effects of small decisions marches on; productive land turns to desert, groundwater resources are overexploited to the point where they can't recover, persistent pesticides are used and tropical forests are cleared without factoring in the cumulative consequences.
US 422 crosses into Marion Township in Berks County and becomes Conrad Weiser Parkway, passing through farm fields with some residences and businesses. The route runs past homes and businesses in the community of Stouchsburg before it runs through more agricultural areas with some development, bending to the east-southeast. The road becomes three lanes with two westbound lanes and one eastbound lane, crossing the Tulpehocken Creek into the borough of Womelsdorf. Here, US 422 becomes a four-lane divided highway and passes businesses as it comes to an intersection with PA 419\.
Hopkinton is a town in Merrimack County, New Hampshire, United States. The population was 5,589 at the 2010 census. The town has three distinct communities: Hopkinton village, mainly a residential area in the center of the town; Contoocook, the town's business hub, located in the north; and West Hopkinton, within the more agricultural portion of the town. The town is home to the Hopkinton State Fair, adjacent to Contoocook village, and to the historic Contoocook Railroad Depot and the Contoocook Railroad Bridge, the oldest covered railroad bridge in the United States.
PA 995 begins at an intersection with PA 75 in the community of Claylick in Montgomery Township, heading east-southeast on two-lane undivided Welsh Run Road. The road heads into open farmland, making a turn to the northeast and crossing PA 416 in the community of Welsh Run. The route crosses the West Branch Conococheague Creek and continues through more agricultural areas, coming to a junction with PA 16. At this point, PA 995 turns east to form a concurrency with PA 16 on Buchanan Trail, crossing into Peters Township.
The road enters Forward Township and becomes Evans City Road again, running through farmland and woodland with some residential and commercial buildings. The route passes over Connoquenessing Creek and the Buffalo and Pittsburgh Railroad's B&P; Main Line Subdivision line, heading through woodland and turning north. PA 68 heads into farmland with some woods and residences, crossing into the borough of Connoquenessing, where it passes to the east of the residential center of town. The road heads into Connoquenessing Township and curves northeast, running through more agricultural and wooded areas with a few homes.
The road continues east-northeast through more farmland with some trees and homes, passing through Booneville and heading into Greene Township. Farther east, PA 880 crosses into the borough of Loganton and becomes West Main Street, passing homes. In the center of town, the route crosses PA 477 and becomes East Main Street, running through more residential areas. The road crosses back into Greene Township and becomes East Valley Road, continuing through more agricultural areas with some woods and homes a short distance to the south of forested Sugar Valley Mountain.
Entering more agricultural areas, PA 944 curves northeast before heading east into North Middleton Township and intersecting PA 74. From this junction, the route continues east, heading through forests before passing more farms as it enters Middlesex Township. In this area, PA 944 comes to a junction with PA 34, at which point the route turns northeast to form a concurrency with that route on Spring Road, passing through the community of Carlisle Springs. PA 944 splits from PA 34 by heading east onto Wertzville Road, passing through more farmland with occasional homes.
Dark woolen warps and borders are associated with Arab Khamseh rugs, warps are rarely depressed, the colour scheme is more subdued. Specifically, a stylized bird ("murgh") pattern is often seen on rugs attributed to the confederation, arranged around a succession of small, lozenge shaped medallions. Basseri rugs are asymmetrically knotted, brighter in colours, with more open space and smaller ornaments and figure with Orange as the specific color. The Baharlu are a Turkic-speaking tribe settled around Darab, and few carpets are known from this more agricultural region.
The River Liffey divides the city in two, between the Northside and the Southside. The Liffey bends at Leixlip from a northeasterly route to a predominantly eastward direction, and this point also marks the transition to urban development from more agricultural land usage. Two secondary rivers further divide the city – the River Tolka, running southeast into Dublin Bay, and the River Dodder running northeast to near the mouth of the Liffey, and these and the Liffey have multiple tributaries. A number of lesser rivers and streams also flow to the sea.
From here, PA 45 narrows to two lanes and becomes Penns Valley Pike, continuing east-northeast through farmland with some residential and commercial development. The road crosses into Gregg Township and continues east through rural land with some development in the valley as Penns Valley Road, passing north of the community of Spring Mills. The route curves northeast and runs through farm fields with some woods and development, entering Penn Township. PA 45 passes south of Penns Valley Area High School as it runs through more agricultural areas with some residences and businesses.
The route passes through more agricultural areas and crosses KY 465 before it gains a center left-turn lane and comes to an interchange with I-71. Past this interchange, KY 35 continues north as a three-lane road with a center left-turn lane and passes to the east of Kentucky Speedway. The road loses the turning lane and curves northeast into a mix of fields and woods with some homes, turning back to the north. The route winds north through more forested areas with occasional clearings and residences.
This also included the cutting of forests to make more agricultural land. Most settlements are found near springs, ponds and small lakes as they were the most readily usable sources of water, instead of the rivers which ran deep inside narrow canyons. This included the Huastecas, who were found mostly in the far northeast of the region, noted for growing cotton. The height of settlement of the area came between the 6th and 10th centuries, with the largest number of successful human settlements, with an economy based on farming and mining.
Las Ranas At the end of the Preclassic, most of the Sierra Gorda was populated by agricultural villages established by people who migrated here from the Mexican Plateau and Gulf of Mexico coast, mostly from the latter. Agriculture was concentrated in the lower valley areas, the few plains and some sides of mountains. This also included the cutting of forests to make more agricultural land. The Sandhills chub is threatened by disturbances to their environment due to the Carolina Sandhills becoming a more agricultural, residential and tourist area. Damming of headwaters to create golf course ponds has changed the water flow and the habitats of the chub. There is also road management which can sometimes result in stream siltation and use of pesticides in the nearby area may cause water pollution. The main threat to the Sandhills chub is habitat alteration as more predaceous species are being introduced into the North Carolina headwaters.
The Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program, more commonly known as CARP, is an agrarian reform law of the Philippines whose legal basis is the Republic Act No. 6657, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Law (CARL). It is the redistribution of private and public agricultural lands to help the beneficiaries survive as small independent farmers, regardless of the “tenurial” arrangement. Its goals are to provide landowners equality in terms of income and opportunities, empower land owner beneficiaries to have equitable land ownership, enhance agricultural production and productivity, provide employment to more agricultural workers, and put an end to conflicts regarding land ownership.
Past this junction, the route heads into more agricultural areas with some woods and homes before heading into dense forests with residences. CR 555 turns northeast as it comes to an intersection with CR 557 and CR 659, at which point the route turns north onto Tuckahoe Road. A short distance later, the route crosses CR 538 and heads northwest through more wooded areas of homes with occasional farm fields. The road turns more to the north near Southern Cross Airport as it enters Monroe Township and comes to intersections with CR 612 and CR 610 before crossing US 322/CR 536.
But, like Don Uyanguren's attempt to develop the newly established Davao, the area around the young town did not prosper until after almost 20 years since then. The Americans arrived in Davao in the early 1900s after the Spanish defeat in the Spanish–American War. Fourteen years later, the town began to grow economically, although overshadowed by the booming economic growth of its neighbour Davao. Several Japanese entrepreneurs like Kyusaburo Otta and Yoshizo Furukawa are living in the region to exploit more agricultural territories, the former in Davao and the latter in what is now the barangays Darong and Inauayan.

At this point, the route enters the Pennsylvania Dutch Country of eastern Lancaster County, which is home to many Amish farms. The road continues through more agricultural areas, turning more to the north. The route enters Bart Township and heads northwest again as it continues to the small residential community of Nine Points. Farther northwest, PA 896 crosses a bridge over the Enola Low Grade Trail before intersecting PA 372 in the community of Green Tree. At this point, PA 372 turns north onto PA 896 and the two routes run concurrent through a mix of farms and homes.
At this point, the road turns more to the east and passes the terminus of the Wanamaker, Kempton and Southern Railroad as it heads into more agricultural areas with some homes. The route curves northeast and runs through the community of Jacksonville before it turns to the east. Upon reaching the community of Lynnport, PA 143 comes to the northern terminus of PA 863\. From this intersection, the route continues farther east, curving southeast and crossing Ontelaunee Creek. PA 143 turns east and passes through New Tripoli as Decatur Street before reaching its northern terminus at PA 309.
PA 921 begins at an intersection with PA 74 in the borough of Dover, heading northeast on two-lane undivided Canal Road. The road passes a mix of homes and businesses before turning east and becoming the border between Dover to the north and Dover Township to the south, passing residential subdivisions. The route fully enters Dover Township as it turns northeast into wooded areas of homes before passing a mix of farmland and residences. Upon crossing Bull Road, PA 921 heads into Conewago Township and passes more agricultural areas with some patches of woods and housing.
Subsistence developments The hypothesis concerning the usage of plants and animals in the culture and how that relates to settlement pattern, was focused on and tested against the materials found. The question of whether or not the patterns of hunting and gathering shifted into a more agricultural focus in coordination with the passage of time from Archaic to Mississippian. White tailed deer was the primary source of meat but other vertebrates were a constant alternative. When questioning which plants were a source of food, a variety of herbaceous annuals were utilized from the late archaic and increased onto the Middle Woodland.
Here, the route intersects CR 679 near the Salem County Veterans Cemetery before heading through more agricultural areas. The route reaches an intersection with US 40 (Harding Highway) and CR 616 in a business area, where US 40 forms a concurrency with Route 45. The two routes head northeast into Woodstown as the Harding Highway into residential areas. At the intersection with Main Street in downtown, Route 45 splits from US 40 by heading north on Main Street while CR 672 heads south on Main Street and US 40 continues to the east on East Avenue.
At this point, the road crosses into West Pennsboro Township and passes through more agricultural areas with occasional patches of woodland and residences. The route becomes the border between the borough of Newville to the west and West Pennsboro Township to the east before fully entering Newville at the crossing of the Big Spring Creek. Here, PA 233 becomes South High Street and passes homes, intersecting PA 533 prior to heading into the commercial downtown and crossing PA 641. Past this junction, the route becomes North High Street and passes more residences along with a few businesses.
The road runs through more agricultural areas as it heads more to the east and crosses Sherman Creek. PA 233 passes homes and comes into the borough of Landisburg, reaching an intersection with PA 850. At this point, PA 233 turns northwest to form a concurrency with PA 850 on Carlisle Street, passing more residences. The road crosses back into Tyrone Township and becomes unnamed, heading north through farmland with some homes. PA 850 splits from PA 233 by heading to the northwest, and PA 233 continues northeast on Green Park Road, running through farms and woods with occasional residences.
After this intersection, US 206 heads north out of the Wharton State Forest and into more agricultural areas. At the intersection with CR 648, the route briefly widens into a four-lane undivided road before narrowing back to two lanes. Upon intersecting CR 622, US 206 enters Tabernacle Township. Here, CR 532 crosses the route at a signalized intersection. Following CR 532, residential development increases along the route as it continues into Southampton Township. US 206 becomes a three-lane road with one northbound lane and two southbound lanes as it comes to the Red Lion Circle with Route 70.
New France, at its start, was mostly populated by men: soldiers, fur traders, and priests. The colony became more agricultural and by the mid-17th century there was a severe imbalance between single men and women in New France. The small number of female immigrants had to pay their own passage, and few single women wanted to leave home to move and settle in the harsh climate and conditions of New France. The population growth of the competing English colonies awakened concern among some officials about France's ability to maintain its claim in the New World.
PA 155 heads into Liberty Township in McKean County and becomes Port-Emporium Road, heading through more forested areas with some fields and residences, passing through Liberty. The route turns to the northwest and heads into more agricultural areas with some homes, with the Portage Creek and the railroad line a short distance to the west of the road. The road heads through Wrights and continues through more rural areas. Farther north, PA 155 crosses the Allegheny River into the borough of Port Allegany and comes to an intersection with U.S. Route 6 (US 6), turning northwest to form a concurrency with that route on South Main Street.
The route passes through Heidlersburg and continues to an interchange with the US 15 freeway. From here, PA 234 runs through a mix of farmland and woodland with some residences on East Berlin Road, becoming the border between Huntington Township to the north and Tyrone Township to the south as it heads through Five Points. From this point, the road becomes the border between Reading Township to the north and Tyrone Township to the south, briefly heading entirely into Tyrone Township prior to crossing the Plum Run into Reading Township. In this area, the route crosses PA 94 before continuing east through more agricultural areas.
Baltimore Pike continues through a mix of farmland and woodland with some homes and businesses, passing to the north of the Lincoln University campus. The road continues into Upper Oxford Township and runs through more agricultural areas with some housing developments, coming to an intersection with PA 896. Baltimore Pike heads through more rural areas of with some residential development and curves to the east, crossing the East Branch Big Elk Creek into Penn Township. At this point, the road name becomes West Baltimore Pike and it passes between residential development to the north and farmland to the south before passing north of Jennersville Hospital.
PA 267 splits from PA 706 by turning northeast and PA 706 continues east through more forested areas with some fields and homes to the north of the East Branch Wyalusing Creek, turning northeast and passing through Rush. The road turns east and heads into Jessup Township, passing through more forests before continuing into a mix of farmland and woods with some homes. The route turns northeast at Snows Mill and continues through more rural areas, passing through Fairdale. PA 706 heads more to the east before turning back to the northeast and crossing into Bridgewater Township, winding northeast through more agricultural and wooded areas with occasional residences.
From here, CR 540 becomes Pointers Road and runs through more agricultural areas, crossing the marshy Mannington Creek before briefly turning southeast onto Bypass Road and intersecting CR 620 and Route 45. Here, CR 540 turns to the east and forms a concurrency with Route 45, passing some homes before heading into farm fields with occasional residences. CR 540 splits from Route 45 by heading southeast on Welchville Road and passing through more farmland, crossing CR 653. After an intersection with CR 676, the road turns south-southeast into Alloway Township and crosses the Southern Railroad of New Jersey's Salem Branch line, entering more wooded areas with some farms.
SR 29 turns west briefly and back north through the city of Immokalee, a small farming town with large migrant populations. Just north of Immokalee, SR 29 intersects with State Road 82, which travels west to Fort Myers. SR 29 continues due north through more agricultural areas until it reaches the city of LaBelle, where it runs through the city center and intersects State Road 80, a transpeninsular route connecting Fort Myers and West Palm Beach. After crossing the Caloosahatchee River on a small drawbridge, SR 29 turns northeast and continues to its northern terminus at an intersection with US 27 (unsigned SR 25), just south of Palmdale.
Following these victories, Justinian set about attempting to increase the Opsikion Theme by bringing in some 250,000 settlers of Slavic origin into Asia Minor. The benefit of the move was twofold — in addition to opening up more agricultural land, there would also have been an increase in the population and a larger number of Thematic militia troops could be raised — allowing the Empire to wage war with more. Furthermore, the increase in the lower classes shifted the balance of power from the aristocracy to the class of well-off peasants. These self-sufficient peasants, who owned their own land formed the backbone of the Thematic armies.
At this point, SR 60 turns north and becomes Georgetown Road, a secondary route that passes through residential areas, where it narrows into a two-lane undivided road. The route comes to an intersection with Paul Huff Parkway, and leaves Cleveland, heading into a mix of farmland and woodland before passing near more residential and commercial areas as it comes to the SR 306 junction in Hopewell. Following this, the road continues northwest through forested areas with some farm fields and residences. SR 60 continues into more agricultural areas before it becomes the border between Meigs County to the northeast and Hamilton County to the southwest.
The Muisca, living on the Altiplano Cundiboyacense, were mainly concentrated on the plains and in the valleys, comprising 12 % of the Muisca territory, with minor communities in the higher terrains and slopes of the mountains. As the valleys, especially the Bogotá savanna were part of an ancient lake, Lake Humboldt, the soil was very fertile allowing for a variety of crops to be cultivated.Francis, 1993, pp.36-38 The agriculture of the Muisca was performed on small-scale cropfields, part of more extensive lands, and in a rather egalitarian manner; the higher social classes did not have access to more agricultural products than the lower class Muisca.
Dodge City had more famous (and infamous) gunfighters working at one time or another than any other town in the West, many of whom participated in the Dodge City War of 1883. It boasted also the usual array of saloons, gambling halls, and brothels, including the famous Long Branch Saloon and China Doll brothel. For a time in 1884, Dodge City had even a bullfighting ring where Mexican bullfighters would put on a show with specially chosen Longhorn bulls. As more agricultural settlers moved into western Kansas, pressure increased on the Kansas State Legislature to do something about splenic fever, known today as anthrax.
PA 85/PA 210 in Plumville PA 210 begins at an intersection with PA 56/PA 156 in South Bend Township, Armstrong County, heading northwest on a two-lane undivided road. The route crosses the Crooked Creek and continues into a mix of farmland and woodland with occasional homes, curving to the north. The road crosses into Plumcreek Township and passes through more rural areas, turning to the north-northeast as it heads west of the Keystone Generating Station. PA 210 comes to an intersection with US 422 southeast of the borough of Elderton and continues through more agricultural areas with some woods and residences, running a short distance to the northwest of Plum Creek.
The Old European Tripolye culture continued to influence the western steppes, with a more agricultural and less male-centered Yamnaya culture in the Dnieper-Donets region. Proto-Indo-European speakers had indirect contacts with Uruk around 3700–3500 through the North Caucasian Maikop culture, a trade route that introduced the wheeled wagon into the Caspian-Pontic steppes. Wheel-made pottery imported from Mesopotamia were found in the Northern Caucasus, and Maikop chieftain was buried wearing Mesopotamian symbols of power—the lion paired with the bull. The late Khvalynsk and Repin cultures probably traded wool and domesticated horses in exchange, as suggested by the widespread appearance of horses in archeological sites across Transcaucasia after 3300.
Instead, they imported these products from Britain's expanding industry due to the many industrial innovations of the 19th century. These items were then exported to southeast and east Asia, particularly China.
After crossing the Southern Railroad of New Jersey's Salem Branch line, the route continues into Swedesboro and becomes Auburn Avenue. The road is lined with homes as it meets CR 671 before coming to a junction with CR 605 and CR 694. At this intersection, CR 551 turns onto Kings Highway and passes through the residential and commercial downtown of Swedesboro, reaching the junction with the western terminus of CR 538. The route crosses the Racoon Creek back into Woolwich Township and intersects CR 653 before passing a mix of farms and development as it comes to US 322/CR 536. CR 551 continues through more agricultural areas as it has junctions with CR 672 and CR 684.
At this point, PA 147 becomes a two- lane expressway and runs through wooded areas with some nearby development, coming to a bridge over Chillisquaque Creek. The route curves north-northeast into farmland and becomes a four-lane divided freeway, reaching a diamond interchange with PA 45 to the east of the community of Montandon. PA 147 heads north through more agricultural areas before running through woods and coming to an interchange serving Industrial Park Road. The freeway runs north- northeast through a mix of fields and woods to the east of the borough of Milton and comes to a diamond interchange serving PA 642, at which point it crosses into Turbot Township.
PA 453 begins at an intersection with US 22 in the community of Water Street in Morris Township, Huntingdon County, heading north on three-lane undivided Birmingham Pike, carrying two northbound lanes and one southbound lane. The road heads through woods before heading into agricultural areas and intersecting the western terminus of PA 45. At this point, the route becomes concurrent with PA 45 Truck and narrows to two lanes as it heads northwest through more open farmland with occasional woods. PA 453 enters Tyrone Township in Blair County and turns north through more agricultural areas as an unnamed road, gaining a second northbound lane before also gaining a second southbound lane.
PA 87 begins at an interchange with I-180/US 220 in the borough of Montoursville in Lycoming County, heading north on Loyalsock Avenue, a two-lane divided highway. The route immediately crosses into Fairfield Township and becomes an undivided, unnamed road, running between farmland to the west and woodland with homes to the east. The road continues into Upper Fairfield Township and heads through more agricultural areas with some residences, intersecting the western terminus of PA 864 in Farragut. PA 87 heads through more farmland and woodland with some homes to the east of the Loyalsock Creek, passing through Loyalsockville and coming to an intersection with the eastern terminus of PA 973.

Upon crossing CR 660, CR 545 comes into Bordentown Township and enters more residential surroundings, making a turn to the northwest as it passes under the New Jersey Turnpike (I-95). The road has intersections with US 206 and US 130 a short distance apart, with the name becoming Farnsworth Avenue at the intersection with the former and county maintenance ending at the latter. The road continues into Bordentown, where it is municipally maintained and lined with several homes and downtown businesses.
The road leaves Allentown for Upper Freehold Township and enters farmland as it intersects CR 526 Spur. A short distance later, CR 524/CR 539 reaches an interchange with Interstate 195 (I-195).
