Since India's Independence on 15 August 1947, Indian National Congress, the major political party instrumental in Indian independence movement, ruled the nation. The first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, second PM Lal Bahadur Shastri and the third PM Indira Gandhi, all were from the Congress party. However, Raj Narain, who had unsuccessfully contested election against Indira from the constituency of Rae Bareilly in 1971, lodged a case, alleging electoral malpractices. He played an early role in helping bring to light malpractices carried out under the system of Indian indentured labour. In 1909, George Fitzpatrick provided testimony before a British parliamentary investigation, led by Lord Sanderson, regarding alleged mistreatment of East Indian labourers living in Trinidad. Originally introduced in 2003, the Integrated Financial Management Information System (IFMIS) was re-engineered by the Ministry of Finance to curb fraud and other malpractices. At the start of its construction in 1992, the Dabhol power station project was, at $3 billion, the biggest foreign investment in India. Omoworare successfully ran for election for the Ifako-Ijaiye constituency of the Lagos State House of Assembly in January 1999, running on the Alliance for Democracy platform. He was reelected in 2003 and became Majority Leader and chairman of the Business Rules and Standing Orders Committee. In the April 2007 national elections, he was the Action Congress candidate for the Osun East Senatorial seat. The election was marred by electoral malpractices and violence and was nullified in October 2009 by the Court of Appeal, Ibadan. In place of Limann's People's National Party, Rawlings established the Provisional National Defence Council (PNDC) military junta as the official government. Although the PNDC claimed to be true representatives of the people, it lacked experience in the creation and implementation of clear economic policies. Rawlings, like many of his predecessors, attributed current economic and social problems to the "trade malpractices and other anti-social activities" of a few businesspeople.

Alan Charles Rusbridger (born 29 December 1953) is a British journalist, Principal of Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford and the former editor-in-chief of The Guardian. Rusbridger became editor-in-chief of The Guardian in 1995, having been a reporter and columnist earlier in his career. Rusbridger stood down from the post at the end of May 2015 and was succeeded by Katharine Viner. The organization accepted the concept of monotheism, a concept which belies in existence of one God only. The organization used to organize public meetings every Sunday in which the speakers used to exhort to give up casteism, to encourage widow remarriages and to stop the practice of idol worship. The main activity of the organization was to abolish superstitious beliefs from the society and to ensure that people do not practice black magic, witchcraft and such other malpractices.

Nehru College of Engineering and Research Centre (NCERC) is a private engineering college situated in Thiruvilwamala in Thrissur District of Kerala, India. The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi and accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). It was featured in the news in January 2017, following the suicide of a student because he was allegedly harassed by the college authorities for purported malpractices during an examination. Various renowned and prestigious private schools and colleges across India have been found demanding a capitation fee. It was found that Rs 500,000 was allegedly paid by a student through a demand draft to Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering (SVCE), a private college in Pennalur, Sriperumbudur, near Chennai. The incident came into light through a surprise check drive initiated by the government in Tamil Nadu at 142 self- financing engineering colleges in the state. Another scam exposed by a popular news channel, Times Now, suggested that Information and Broadcasting Minister for State Jagathrakshakan was allegedly associated with Shree Balaji Medical College in malpractices in admissions.

Raila Odinga's petition sought to bring attention to the series of technological failures that cast doubt on the provisional results as tallied by the IEBC, as well as the breakdown of BVR kits on polling day. He also alleged that massive electoral fraud and malpractices occurred that helped his opponent to win.

During his time in Zanzibar in 1961, Alhaji Swanzy successfully obtained the acquittal of about 80 members of the Afro- Shirazi Party who had been indicted for murder in the riots which erupted in that country in 1960. In Gambia, Alhaji Kwaw-Swanzy secured the acquittal of the former Gambian President, Sir Dauda Jawara and several members of his Progressive Peoples' Party for electoral malpractices and fraud in 1962. In recognition of his distinguished professional services in Zanzibar, the Zanzibar government appointed him Attorney General and chief legal advisor to the Zanzibar government in 1983. In 1972 he represented Ghana in the Islamic conference at Al Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt.

Former Vice-Chancellor Dr N Prabhu Dev ordered the constitution of the task force in May, following pressure from various academic quarters to fix the allegations of gross irregularities, malpractices and falling educational standards in teacher education colleges under the University. "The Task Force is authorised to undertake surprise inspection of the colleges to obtain first-hand information regarding the conduct of BEd and MEd courses. It may inspect admissions, attendance, appointments of teachers, internal assessment marks and other aspects," the Vice-Chancellor's order stated. The academic council that met thrice in July 2012 deliberated, in detail, on LIC (Local Inquiry Committee) Reports of Academic Year 2012–13, including reports of B.Ed. Colleges.

A storm over banking malpractices blew up in 2009, with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) leading investigations that led to bank closures and dismissal of directors, some of whom were arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission. Olutoyin Adepate, the ICAN registrar, said "the current crises should be fully investigated and persons found guilty sanctioned according to the laws of the nation... the larger interest of the national economy and the Nigerian people must be defended at all cost". In October 2009 Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, governor of the CBN, addressed the ICAN annual conference. He revealed a number of improprieties in direction of eight of the banks, including loans made to directors with inadequate security.

Every year, an unknown number of Filipinos in Saudi Arabia are "victims of sexual abuses, maltreatment, unpaid salaries, and other labor malpractices," according to John Leonard Monterona, the Middle East coordinator of Migrante, a Manila-based OFW organization. Some Filipinos are attracted and transported to Saudi Arabia illegally, where they are left stranded without work. Between January and August 2008, approximately 800 throughout the country sought help at Migrante chapters, and 922 others were deported to the Philippines in the first three months of 2008 after overstaying their visa requirements. At one point in early 2008, 103 Filipinos stranded in Jeddah lived in a tent camp under a bridge before being able to be processed for deportation.

Theophilus Bamigboye entered politics as a member of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), later moving to the Democratic People's Party (DPP), and then to the Accord Party. In April 2007 he competed on the Accord Party platform for governorship of Kwara State, without success. At one point in the campaign, gun wielding youths started shooting when Bamigboye was speaking at a rally of his supporters, but he escaped unharmed. Bamigboye appealed the electoral result where Dr Bukola Saraki had won the race for governor, claiming there had been widespread malpractices, corruption, violence, intimidation and exclusion of the photograph and logo of the Accord Party from the ballot papers, but in July 2008 an electoral appeal court upheld Saraki victory.

In the mid-1980s, the government embarked on a US$36 million rehabilitation project to boost the company's production. The Education Bill was introduced in the Kerala assembly by Professor Joseph Mundasseri, who was then the education minister for the first elected (1957) Communist Party of India government. The Syrian Christian church and Nair Service Society, along with opposition parties, including Indian National Congress, started the liberation struggle to overthrow the E. M. S. This bill, along with Land Reforms Ordinance and other agricultural legislation, imparted drastic changes in Kerala society, and paved the way for the natural death of feudalistic society in Kerala.

Each country with a major Templar presence (France, Poitou, Anjou, Jerusalem, England, Aragon (Spain), Portugal, Italy, Tripoli, Antioch, Hungary, and Croatia) had a Master of the Order for the Templars in that region. All of them were subject to the Grand Master, appointed for life, who oversaw both the order's military efforts in the East and their financial holdings in the West. The Grand Master exercised his authority via the visitors-general of the order, who were knights specially appointed by the Grand Master and convent of Jerusalem to visit the different provinces, correct malpractices, introduce new regulations, and resolve important disputes. The visitors-general had the power to remove knights from office and to suspend the Master of the province concerned.

In 1986, they co-authored a six-page leaflet titled "What's wrong with McDonald's: everything they don't want you to know" of which they distributed "a few hundred copies" in Strand, London. The leaflet accused the company of paying low wages, of cruelty to animals used in its products and other malpractices. On 28 January 1718 he voluntarily resigned the office of lieutenant-general of police for those of keeper of the seals—in the place of the chancellor d’Aguesseau—and president of the council of finance.

The compact committee which was constituted in February 1977, recommended the enactment of a separate central legislation to regulate the employment of interstate migrant workers as it was felt the provisions of the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act 1970, even after necessary amendments would not adequately take care of the variety of malpractices indulged in by the principal employers/contractors/Sardars/Khatedars etc. and the required facilities to be provided to these workmen in view of the peculiar circumstances in which they are working. The recommendations of compact committee had been examined in consultation with the state governments and the relevant central ministries, Interstate Migrant Workmen (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1979 was passed by both houses of Parliament and President of India gave his assent on 11-06-1979. This Act makes provision for availing with the onsite services of interstate workers by the contractors / establishments to overcome only the temporary shortage of required skilled workers in a state.

This gave rise to two manslaughter charges, and on May 31, 1889 a grand jury indicted her along with her son and surgical partner, Charles Dixon Jones. They were charged with murder in the second degree for the death of Sarah Bates, manslaughter in the second degree in the death of Ida Hunt, and eight malpractices suits that made their way through the courts. Almost three hundred witnesses testified, including leading physicians, craftsmen and seamstresses, immigrants, tradesman and their wives, and her former patients. Supreme Court shall also expeditiously decide any doubt raised by which the elected vice president could be ineligible to be Rajya Sabha member for the unconstitutional acts committed before becoming vice president. Under Article 71(1), it is the responsibility of the Supreme Court to inquire and decide about the so-called unconstitutional acts committed by the Vice President such as turning down the notice of the Rajya Sabha members to impeach the Chief Justice of India and other judges of Supreme Court and High Courts per Article 124(4) and Judges (Inquiry) Act,1968.

She was Deputy Commissioner of Ghana's Commission for Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) from 2002 to 2010, where she was appointed Acting Commissioner.Myjoyonline: In July 2011, she was employed by the African Development Bank Group as Director of the Integrity and Anti- Corruption Department, in charge of investigations of fraud, corruption and other malpractices. In June 2017 she was appointed Ghana's ambassador to France, and presented her letters of credence to French President Emmanuel Macron on 13 October 2017.
