Jarod seeks out fellow jocks, including a baseball pitcher named Beau (James Getzlaff), while Griff tries to earn the affection of Angel (Darryl Stephens), a male stripper; Jarod and Griff leave these men to have sex with each other instead, because they are in love. Andy, having failed to seduce his long-time crush, his math teacher, Mr. Puckov (Graham Norton), has a threesome with the rejected Beau and Angel. Much of the humor comes from how awkward each boy is at romance and how naive they are about sex. Each plot backfires horribly, until the boys finally begin to change their attitudes towards sex at the end of the film.

Leslie rejoined the WWF as a heel named Brutus Beefcake in late 1984, managed by "Luscious" Johnny Valiant. Introduced in a vignette that portrayed him as a male stripper, Beefcake was a vain character who dressed in outlandish outfits. As a singles wrestler, he feuded with David Sammartino whom he fought to a double DQ at the inaugural WrestleMania at Madison Square Garden, and WWF World Heavyweight Champion Hulk Hogan. Hogan sought revenge on Beefcake after he and Valiant injured Hogan's protégé, Hillbilly Jim (at a show in San Diego in February 1985), Hillbilly had appeared in Hogan's corner for a match between Hogan and Beefcake.

In 1984, he began rehearsing the character Tik-Tok for the Walt Disney film Return to Oz, and this was covered by the long-running BBC children's magazine programme Blue Peter. Sundin impressed the editor, Biddy Baxter, and was invited to audition for the presenting vacancy left by Peter Duncan; it was his fortune that one of the audition items was to interview someone on a trampoline, and he presented his first programme on 13 September 1984. Somen "Steve" Banerjee (; October 8, 1946 – October 23, 1994) was an Indian American entrepreneur and co-founder of Chippendales. After operating a Mobil gas station and a failed backgammon club, Banerjee bought a failed Los Angeles club named "Destiny II" and turned it into a nightclub that featured female mud wrestling and a "Female Exotic Dancing Night." The 1979 addition of a male stripper dance troupe performing to target female audiences was the first of its kind in the United States. Banerjee partnered with Paul Snider (husband and eventual killer of Playboy Playmate Dorothy Stratten) and attorney Bruce Nahin in the club and its unique Chippendales male act.

After briefly working as a male stripper, Roman started wrestling in 1999 in World Championship Wrestling after being trained by Paul Orndorff at the WCW Power Plant. He debuted later that year at a house show on September 3 under the ring name Kid Romeo, where he defeated Triple A. Two days later, Triple A defeated Romeo in a rematch. After Triple A began using his real name (Allan Funk), the two exchanged victories on Saturday Night before Romeo began wrestling against fellow Power Plant graduates in dark matches through the rest of 1999 and into early 2000. On the January 24, 2000 episode of Nitro, Romeo made his televised debut and was easily defeated by The Wall.

Other Warhol references in the video include a scene where Madonna and her girlfriends peel and eat a banana, sit on a couch and watch a long haired male stripper flex and exhibit himself on a mattress on the floor. The bananas have been thought to be a reference to the cover art of The Velvet Underground & Nico, designed by Warhol. Guilbert also noted that during this particular scene, Stefano looked like "a cross between Andy Warhol's fetish actor Joe Dallesandro and Iggy Pop"; Dallesandro himself was allegedly approached by Madonna's people to do a cameo but declined the offer.

The band participated in the motion picture soundtrack for the film Pet Sematary by making a cover of the Ramones song with the same title and was uploaded on April 5, 2019. On October 11, the band released their second studio album Devour You. On August 2, 2020, De Wilde stated on an Instagram post that she was sexually assaulted in a dressing room by a male stripper earlier in January while on tour with The Growlers in Melbourne, Australia.

Neo (Way-Ar Sangngern), a bisexual male stripper/prostitute, begins an affair with Vanika (Inthira Charoenpura), a famous actress and the second wife of Sia Thana (Sarut Vichitrananda), a real estate mogul and mob kingpin. Phon (Natthawut Jenmana) and Ter (Chanagun Arpornsutinan), the two hitmen working for Thana, are tasked to kill Neo and punish Vanika. Upon finding the pair, Ter tries to shoot Neo, but accidentally shoots and kills Vanika instead. Neo runs to the strip club where he works and is followed by Phon; earlier, Shin (Tawan Vihokratana), Thana's only son who happens to be a reluctant heir of his father's mob empire, comes to the same bar with his friends and meets Miw (Lapassalan Jiravechsoontornkul), a hostess at the bar.

In the final scene, the sociopath pedophile Marty arrives at the office for work as usual in the free and clear, with Megan nowhere in sight. A little later, Marty is approached by a police officer at his cubicle. Fearing that he is about to be arrested for the abduction of the little girl, Marty is instead horrified to learn that this is yet another cruel practical joke against him: the officer ends up being a male stripper hired by his mean co-workers to further humiliate him. The office workers laugh and hurl homophobic insults at the humiliated Marty and the rest of the office staff all join in on the laughing and homophobic insulting unaware of Marty's true nature.

Vic's investigation lead him and Stu around Los Angeles, at locations including Koreatown, then a male stripper club and a house in Long Beach, where Vic detains a key suspect of his investigation and rescues the dog Pico (a Pit Bull Terrier) from being drugged to hide the evidence. Stu accidentally shoots the thug in the leg and Vic leads them to an animal hospital, where a group of thugs find the two and attack them.

The Italian erotic thriller Cattive ragazze (Bad Girls) was directed by gossip columnist Marina Ripa di Meana, and stars Eva Grimaldi as a recently divorced woman falling in love with a male stripper, alongside a cast of big names such as Anita Ekberg and Burt Young. The production received bad publicity, as it was made using money from the country's Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities. Paolo Mereghetti in his film encyclopedia Dizionario dei Film described the film as a "vapid mess that can only serve those incapable of understanding what cinema is", and considered it able to "compete for the title of worst film in cinema history and win!" G. Giraud wrote in Il Lavoro that Cattive ragazze "does not resemble anything in a real movie, or even recall anything previously seen at the cinema, even in its worst".

He was injured several times during the filming, but was later awarded the "Brigitte Bardot International Award" at the Humane Society of the United States' "Genesis Award" Ceremony in 2003, for the episode about bullfighting in Mexico.

On the last day of school before summer vacation, physical education teacher Freddy Shoop (Mark Harmon) is preparing to leave on a vacation to Hawaii with his girlfriend, Kim. Vice principal Phil Gills (Robin Thomas) hands out paper slips informing several underachieving students, including easily distracted Pam (Courtney Thorne-Smith); "nocturnal" Larry, a male stripper (Ken Olandt); football jock Kevin (Patrick Labyorteaux); pregnant Rhonda (Shawnee Smith); geeky Alan (Richard Steven Horvitz); dyslexic Denise (Kelly Jo Minter); intimidating Jerome (Duane Davis), and two horror-film-obsessed underachievers, Dave (Gary Riley) and Francis, a.k.a. "Chainsaw" (Dean Cameron), that they must attend summer school for remedial English. After the teacher scheduled to teach the class, Mr. Dearadorian (Carl Reiner), wins the lottery and immediately quits work, Gills searches for an emergency replacement among the teachers still on school grounds, but each manages to evade him after guessing what he wants them to do.

In 1978, broke from his dwindling career as a musician and working as a male stripper using the stage name "Hot Rod" (due to his reported likeness to Rod Stewart at the time), Honey responded to an advertisement for models in The Stage newspaper and met agent Kent William Boulton (1941–2002), a college lecturer from Bromley and former Labour Party candidate on the Isle of Wight who entered the porn business late in life and was renowned for organising "spanking parties". Being paid £150 a shoot, Honey started working for Berth Milton Sr, publisher of Private Magazine and other European hardcore porn magazines such as Rodox/Color Climax, a Danish company. His first shoot was with a then 17-year- old Eileen Daly, who had gone to see the same agent above a strip club in Soho with her mother. Honey was introduced by Boulton to the photographer Lexington Steel and director Mike Freeman.

Other change included is a male stripper character simply appearing in his "Chippendales" outfit from the start, rather than beginning as a homeless looking man who sheds his outer garments to fight as in the Japanese version. Another change was the substitution of Japanese text featured on in-game billboards with images of scantily clad women (and focusing on crotch images); this appears to be the same type of "Are you covered?" scantily clad woman joke (a risqué reference to insurance sales) that was featured in Konami's Crime Fighters, another arcade fighting game.
