The 2010 Desert 400 was the second event of the 2010 V8 Supercar Championship Series. It was held on the weekend of February 25–27 on Bahrain International Circuit, in Manama, Bahrain. The 1936 Great Britain Lions tour was a tour by the Great Britain national rugby league team of Australia and New Zealand which took place between May and August 1936. The tour involved a schedule of 24 games, 16 in Australia including a three-test series against Australia for the Ashes and a further 8 in New Zealand including a two-test series against New Zealand. Captained by Jim Brough the Lions returned home having won 21 and lost 3 of their games. They won the Ashes against Australia 2–1 and made a clean sweep against New Zealand winning both test matches.

Barry-Murphy's club football career began at under-age level in 1971 when he won a Cork Minor Football Championship winners' medal following a defeat of St. Colman's. Two years later in 1973 he added a club football under-21 championship winners' medal to his collection when 'the Barr's' defeated Bandon by 4-6 to 2-6. In both tournaments, Doce Pares emerged as Champion when one stick technique was applied in the Masters Division and most of the other divisions. During the Third National Arnis Tournament in Cebu City, March 16, 1985, the Doce Pares contestants made a clean sweep of all championship awards in all categories - Openweight, Heavyweight, Middleweight and Lightweight. Most runner-up honors also went to Doce Pares practitioners.

The 1936 Olympics produced controversial results, with the Germans winning all 6 gold medals, the only time in Olympic history where one team has made a clean sweep. One incident occurred on the cross-country course in the eventing competition, where the 4th fence, a 3 ft post-and-rail dropping into a pond, produced a great number of falls. The landing was much deeper than anticipated and the footing underneath did not hold up well. It should also be of note that future Lieutenant colonel and 1932 Olympic gold medal holder Takeichi Nishi participated in this event as well but Nishi fell off his horse, Uranus, mid-course.

That year he was an unused substitute as Kilkenny made a clean sweep by claiming the National League, Leinster and All-Ireland titles. Deyana Gresye Susanti Lomban (born 27 January 1976) is a former Indonesian badminton player who also play for the PB Jaya Raya. She competed at the 2000 Summer Olympics in the women's doubles event partnered with Eliza Nathanael. Lomban who was partnered with Vita Marissa in the women's doubles event was part of Indonesia triumph by made a clean sweep of the five titles at the 2001 Indonesia Open. Lomban with her ability in jumping smash, had won four World Grand Prix titles with three different partners, winning German and Thailand Open in 1996 with Indarti Issolina; two times champion at the Indonesia Open in 1998 with Eliza Nathanael and in 2001 with Marissa.

On the morning of 29 September 1991, Sarawak BN had made a clean sweep of all the state assembly seats except for seven seats won by PBDS. Parti NEGARA, PERMAS, and DAP returned empty-handed. Senior PBDS leaders such as Jawie Masing, who stood for Pakan, and Edmund Langgu, who stood for Krian, were defeated by newcomers from Sarawak BN. However, PBDS deputy president Daniel Tajem was able to win back his old seat of Bukit Begunan which he has lost in the 1987 elections. Another two PBDS members, Harrison Ngau Laing and Richard Riot Jaem also lost their seats to BN. James Jemut Masing, the senior vice-president of PBDS was a consistent performer in this election.

After a series of unsworn allegations of collusion and vote buying at the preselection ballot, a three-man committee of enquiry (Sampson, Burgess and Grealy) had both brothers sacked from the ALP; they formed the Lang Labor Party, a South Australian section of the Lang Labor movement, which attracted a sizeable following among workers disaffected with both major parties' response to the high and growing unemployment during the Great Depression. Lang Labor made a clean sweep of the three-member Adelaide in the House of Assembly in 1933. In an effort to reclaim members lost to Lang Labor and the Parliamentary Labor Party, the A.L.P. rescinded all expulsions in 1934. Eventually, in 1941, Ken was elected to a Central No.1 seat on the Legislative Council, which he retained until his death.

The women's football team is the powerhouse of Icelandic women's football and nearly made a clean sweep in 2005, winning the championship and cup plus almost all of the younger division titles. In International competitions Breiðablik has taken part in The Nordic Open Championship in the years 1995, 1996 and 1997 among teams such as Fortuna Hjørring from Denmark, Trondheims Örn from Norway and HJK from Finland. Breiðablik was the first Icelandic team to earn a seat in The European Women's Cup 2001–02 but due to financial reasons Breiðablik did not participate and KR was therefore the first Icelandic team to take part. Breiðablik did however take part in the Women's Cup the following year where they played in group with the Danish Champions Fortuna Hjørring, Belarus Champions FC Babruyshanka and Moldovan Champions FC Codru Anenii Noi.

After having to return home due to injury during the 2007 World Cup, Lee traveled with the squad to England for the 2009 "English summer" tour. He was left out of the test side during the Ashes but was in the one-day side for the NatWest Series in September. He was the highest wicket-taker for Australia with 12 and also took his ninth five-wicket haul in ODIs as Australia made a clean sweep winning all except one match in the series. With that five-wicket haul, he became the first person to take two five-wicket hauls in ODIs at Lord's; the ball used is now on display at Lord's MCC Museum. Later that month he was a part of the successful 2009 ICC Champions Trophy squad and was level on 6 wickets with teammates Peter Siddle and Shane Watson, the highest total for the Australian team.

They also competed in the ECC Trophy in 2001, 2003 but failed to achieve results they were capable of and finished just off the bottom of the ladder on both occasions. In 2004 ICC Europe reorganised its competition structure, creating four divisions – of which Croatia fell into Division 4. The team made a clean sweep of the ICC Europe Division 4 Championship held that year in Ljubljana, Slovenia, beating the hosts Slovenia, newcomers Bulgaria and old rivals in Switzerland, Luxembourg and Finland. Victory meant automatic promotion to Division 3. The team's first appearance in the 9-team Division 3, held in Belgium in August 2005, was successful from the point of view that they managed to finish in 7th place and thereby avoid the two bottom two places which meant automatic relegation back to the lower division whence they came, as ICC Europe restructured its competitions again, this time creating 5 divisions of six nations each, European Championship.
