These are the ATP Rankings of the top twenty singles players, doubles players, and the top ten doubles teams on the ATP Tour, at the end of the 1998 ATP Tour, and of the 1999 season, with number of rankings points, number of tournaments played, year-end ranking in 1998, highest and lowest position during the season (for singles and doubles individual only, as doubles team rankings are not calculated over a rolling year-to-date system), and number of spots gained or lost from the 1998 to the 1999 year-end rankings.

The power rack serves several purposes. Chief among them is safety: for instance, in the bench press, placing the bar catches right above the lifter's chest will prevent the barbell from crushing the athlete in the case of muscular fatigue or other loss of control of the bar. Keep Calm and Carry On is the seventh studio album by Welsh rock band Stereophonics. Released by Mercury on 16 November 2009, the album debuted at number 11 with sales of 42,771 on the UK Albums Chart, the lowest position for a studio album released by the band. The album was named after a British World War II poster of the same name. Keep Calm and Carry On was the first studio album by the band to feature guitarist Adam Zindani as a permanent member of the band.

On 9 October 1974, the Chief of the Defence Force's Commendation was replaced by the Chief of the Defence Force's Commendation Medal, which was still awarded by the Chief of the Defence Force for service of a high order. It details the club's achievements in major competitions, and the top scorers for each season. In 2016, Leicester City clinched their first Premier League title, their highest position in the League. Their lowest position was in 2009, when they clinched the League One (third tier) title, their only season outside the top two tiers of English football.

The 305th BG innovated the 18-aircraft "Javelin Down" formation, which stacked planes within an element and squadrons within a group downwards in the direction of the sun. This aided gunners on the higher aircraft in seeing lower aircraft without being blinded by glare. In the front elevation the formation resembled a set of stairs, but in profile and plan resembled a spear point. Unlike earlier group formations in which the lead bomber had flown in the lowest position, it now was placed in the center of the formation vertically.

For this reason the album represented a break with the practice of the past 20 years in which Mina has consistently recorded a double album consisting of one disc of covers and one of unpublished material. There have been a few positive reviews, however.

Carver's early years were spent in Germany but at the age of 11 he returned to the UK, where his sporting career began to flourish. He turned down a professional rugby contract to study a Theatre and Television degree at King Alfred's, Winchester, where he also set up his own successful theatre company. In 2007 the first team got relegated to Division Two which was the club's lowest position since the 1930s. In 2010 after three seasons restructuring the club from top to bottom the first team completed their climb back to the Premier Division, picking up a Mowatt Cup win on the way.

On 13 October 2011, Airlines PNG Flight 1600, a Dash 8 regional aircraft on a domestic flight from Lae to Madang, Papua New Guinea, crash-landed in a forested area near the mouth of the Gogol River, after losing all engine power. Only four of the 32 people on board survived. It was the deadliest plane crash in the history of Papua New Guinea. The subsequent investigation found that the flight crew had inadvertently retarded the power levers below the lowest position allowable in flight (known as flight idle), causing both propellers to overspeed and leading to a complete loss of engine power.

After four seasons of being unable to mount a promotion challenge, Mills quit in November 1989. The Sword began recording its sixth studio album Used Future in October 2017, working in Portland, Oregon with producer Tucker Martine. "Deadly Nightshade" was released as the lead single from the album on January 26, 2018, followed by "Twilight Sunrise" the following month. The album was released on March 23, 2018 and reached number 104 on the Billboard 200 – the lowest position for a studio release in the band's career since Age of Winters failed to chart. On September 6, 2018, the band announced via Facebook that they would be going on hiatus, cancelling a subsequent Australian tour.

According to Nielsen SoundScan, "Hair" has sold 174,000 copies of digital downloads as of January 2012. In Canada, the song sold 15,000 digital downloads, and entered the Canadian Hot 100 at number 11, as the highest debut of the week. "Hair" also reached the top ten in the charts of Italy, New Zealand, Norway, Scotland and Spain, and top twenty in Belgium (Flanders and Wallonia region) and France. Its lowest position was on the Danish Singles Chart at number 29, and in the Gaon International download chart of South Korea, it reached a peak position of number 21.

Some copies of this album have the Parental Advisory label on the cover. This was the first time a Pennywise album would have a Parental Advisory label on an album cover, even though many of their albums contain profanity. Reason to Believe peaked at #98 in the United States on the Billboard 200, and #46 in Australia on the ARIA Albums Chart, the band's second lowest position on that chart since their 1995 album About Time. Reason to Believe was the last Pennywise album to feature Jim Lindberg on vocals until his return in October 2012.

He continued to show his goalscorer abilities in his third year, netting 11 goals in 23 games, but failed to win any silverware. During the 1996 transfer season, Maccabi lost important players like Haim Revivo, Eyal Berkovic, Ofer Shitrit and Alon Hazan, so was time to Kandaurov to lead the team. After its inclusion on Rooster in January 2005, "Deep and Meaningless" was released as a single on 11 July 2005. It was backed with a live recording of the Blackstreet song "No Diggity" recorded on the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge show on 29 April 2005. The single reached number 29 on the UK Singles Chart, which was the lowest position of all four singles from the album. A year later, two of the young male baboons, Mud and Thorn, are trying to move up from their current ranks in a challenge known as the Three Feats. Mud (the son of the Starleaf) is a Deeproot, the lowest position in the troop and he is trying to get to Lowleaf.

A note played outside of the normal compass of a position, without any shift, is referred to as an extension. For instance, in third position on the A string, the hand naturally sits with the first finger on D and the fourth on either G or G. Stretching the first finger back down to a C, or the fourth finger up to an A, forms an extension. Extensions are commonly used where one or two notes are slightly out of an otherwise solid position, and give the benefit of being less intrusive than a shift or string crossing. Brown began his managerial career while with Poole Town, becoming player-manager during the 1986–87 season. It was released to country radio November 19, 2002 as the second single from her fifth studio album, Cry (2002). The second of three songs from the album promoted to country radio, "When the Lights Go Down" peaked at #26 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart in 2003. At the time, this was Hill's lowest position on the chart since "But I Will" peaked at #35 nearly a decade previously, however subsequent single "You're Still Here" would chart two positions lower later the same year.

In Motegi, Japan the race in wet conditions was won by Pasini with Talmácsi arriving second and Faubel third. The Spaniard was satisfied with his performance which was probably his best ever in a rainy race. The lowest finishing position of the whole season (not calculating the United Kingdom where his engine problem impeded him from finishing), 8th place, met Talmácsi in Australia, where he had problems with finding the right setup for the new suspension of his motorcycle. The receiving player, in whose square the ball bounces, must then hit the ball by hand, ensuring that it bounces within the receiver's own square once, and then an opponent's square. Failure to do so, or hitting the ball out of court, results in that player being relegated to the lowest position on the court, or becoming the last of the players waiting to enter the court. Due to the social nature of handball and its simplicity, many variations in the rules can occur. For example, students in one school might play in a square of four, while in the next school the game might involve a straight line of six squares, radically altering the game.

Most power seats in newer cars are either six- or eight-way. The earliest form of a "memory" seat was introduced by Ford Motor Company on two of its 1957 models: the Ford Thunderbird and the Mercury Turnpike Cruiser. The "Dial-a-Matic" seat used a letter-and-numerical dial that adjusted the height and either fore or aft of the front seat to the driver's tastes; when the ignition was switched off, it moved back to the rearmost, lowest position to allow easy exit and entry, then moved back to the last "dialed" position when the ignition was started again. The Britannic's adjustable propeller was angled below the horizontal when in the lowest position, to ensure the entire propeller remained submerged. In shallow water the shaft could be raised to the horizontal or slightly upwards to reduce the ship's draught and prevent a blade striking the seabed. With the propeller fully raised the entire propeller hub and one blade could be accessed without placing the ship in dry dock—it was hoped this would reduce the cost and time required to change any broken propeller blades. The shaft was raised and lowered by a small auxiliar steam engine in the ship's stern, operating rods connected to a bearing collar on the propeller shaft via a worm drive reduction gear.

Through the 1960s the US Army and German Army had collaborated on a single design that would replace both the M60 Patton and the Leopard 1. The overall goal was to have a single new design with improved firepower to handle new Soviet tanks like the T-62, while providing improved protection against the T-62's new 115 mm smoothbore gun and especially high explosive anti-tank (HEAT) rounds. The 1989 World Tour also had 24 position on another list of Pollstar – "2015 Year-End Top 200 Concert Grossed [in North America]" – with the highest position of the tour which ranked at number 5 was 2 shows at MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford and the lowest position was 2 shows at Pepsi Center in Denver which ranked at number 160.

In 1749 Joseph was promoted to the senior position of King's Assay-master in the Mint, with a specific requirement that he set up a training structure to ensure an orderly succession for the future. Such structure as there was involved two parallel hierarchies: the senior branch was the King's assayers, and the junior branch the Master's assayers, each originally keeping an eye, one assumes, on the work of the other. Joseph arranged that, starting at the lowest position in the ranks of the Master's assayers, the next promotion would be to the same position in the King's assayers, then back to the Master's assayers until eventual arrival at the top as King's assay-master. This orderly system laid a stable foundation for decades to come for the increasing influence and importance of the Mint.

The selector lever is placed on the right side of the receiver, above the trigger, and has three settings: the uppermost "safe" setting disables the trigger and in this position the lever physically blocks the bolt's integral retracting handle; the middle position (marked "АВ") enables fully automatic fire and the lowest position ("ОД") will activate the semi-automatic function of the trigger. An original five-piece anti-bounce device is built into the trigger unit and this functions as a rate reducer, delaying firing until the bolt has settled entirely into battery. The Bizon also utilizes the AKS-74 shoulder stock. It folds to the left side of the receiver but unlike the AKS-74 and AKS-74U, it is not held closed by a spring-loaded capture in the forward end of the receiver.

The Magpies' 21st place in League Two, and 89th place overall, was the lowest position the club had ever finished, and at the end of the season both the chairman and the manager left, a long-standing youth squad programme was ended, and many of the first-team players were out-of-contract or nearing contract maturity. Former assistant manager Steve Thompson was appointed as manager and he led the team to a 13th place division finish in 2006–07. The following season started with poor results, including early exits from the League Cup and the EFL Trophy, and Thompson was sacked in October 2007, to be replaced by Ian 'Charlie' McParland. The MP9 was fitted with a three-position switch, designed to incorporated the safety and fire selector. The upper position of the lever meant that the MP9 was "safe", the mid- position meant that the MP9 was firing in semi-automatic mode while the lowest position indicated that the MP9 was in fully automatic mode. Safety was a key feature on the MP9 as Ruger's reputation for producing safe firearms, and hence the MP9 was given a separate firing pin block, intended to make sure the MP9 would not fire if dropped. A further notable improvement for the MP9 was the addition of a quick to detach barrel, which was cushioned by a spring when the bolt was closed to reduce the effect of recoil on the various mechanisms.

In reviews of Wolfmother, some critics praised "White Unicorn" as one of the album's highlights. Writing for the website PopMatters, Adrian Begrand claimed that it "emerges as the clear winner on the entire disc, neatly marrying the hippy-dippy sentiment of Robert Plant and the monstrous chords of Tony Iommi before briefly returning to the acid rock sounds of Hawkwind again". Adam Webb of Dotmusic highlighted the song as the prime example of the band's songwriting ability, while The Observer columnist Ben Thompson recommended it as one of two (alongside "Pyramid") highlights of the record. At the end of 2005, Australian radio station Triple J included "White Unicorn" at number 84 on its Hottest 100 list, the lowest position of the six Wolfmother tracks featured on the list.

Benjamin Watts J. Jones (born 1885,Ancestry: Benjamin Watts Jones year of death unknown) was a Welsh football manager and chairman. Jones originated from Swansea.Soccer and Society: South Wales, 1900-1939 He served as a director and chairman of Swansea Town, helping them gain admission to The Football League in 1921, as well as serving on the selection committee of the Football Association of Wales when he was appointed manager of Cardiff City in February 1934, taking charge as the club was in its lowest position since entering the Football League in 1920 after finishing bottom of Division Three South. At the start of the 1934-35 season, Jones released all but five of the clubs professional players and brought in 17 new players in their place but had little cash to spend and struggled to turn the side around.

Three teams took the UEFA Europa League spots. Taking fifth place were Manchester City, whose controversial gamble of sacking Mark Hughes at Christmas and replacing him with Roberto Mancini paid off as they finished in their best position in years. Finishing sixth once again were Aston Villa, who again looked like breaking into the top four, but ultimately fell short. Taking seventh place, astonishingly, were Liverpool, who were nearly champions the year before, but suffered from losing key players, such as Xabi Alonso to Real Madrid, Sami Hyypiä to Bayer Leverkusen and Fernando Torres several times to injury throughout the season; these factors resulted in indifferent form in all of their competitions, meaning they only took a Europa League spot after the FA Cup finalists were refused a UEFA licence and finished in their lowest position for 11 years.

If the final choice was correct, the team's winnings were increased to the value of that question; the captain could then choose to either quit the game or risk the money on the next question. If the captain quit after any of these four questions, the money was split evenly among all five team members. Giving/accepting a wrong answer ended the game and forfeited all winnings. The team member in the lowest position (farthest from the correct answer when a qualifying question was played) gave the answer to question 1, and each question after that was answered by the member in the next higher position. The remaining four questions each had four correct answers to be chosen from several options, starting with six for question 5 and increasing by one for each question after that.

In 2017, 11 different songs topped the chart in 52 issues of the magazine, based on weekly airplay data from radio stations compiled by Nielsen Broadcast Data Systems. In the first issue of Billboard of 2017 singers Brett Eldredge and Meghan Trainor moved up to number one with their version of "Baby, It's Cold Outside", displacing another festive song, "This Christmas" by the band Train. The following week, as the chart began to reflect post-Christmas airplay, Eldredge and Trainor's song dropped all the way to number 30, the chart's lowest position, and was replaced in the top spot by Adele's song "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)".

Brentford were the final relegated club, as an awful start to the season counted against them in the end, just one season after they had been defeated in the Division Two playoff final – a carbon copy of what had happened to Notts County a year earlier. Burnley managed to escape relegation at Brentford's expense but this did not save the job of player-manager Chris Waddle, who was replaced with Bury's Stan Ternent. Millwall sacked manager Billy Bonds after just one season, where a late slump had seen them finish 18th (their lowest position for 15 years) and only decent form earlier in the season prevented them from dropping into Division Three. With Preston failing to mount a promotion challenge, Gary Peters was sacked as manager in early 1998 and replaced with David Moyes, who was appointed manager on a permanent basis at the season's end.

The second song on the Puppet on a String album was the ballad "Think Sometimes About Me," written by Chris Andrews who to date had written all of Shaw's singles with the exception of "(There's) Always Something There to Remind Me," "I Don't Need Anything" and "Puppet on a String". "Think Sometimes About Me" had been released as a single in late 1966 but had only made Number 32 on the UK Singles Chart, her lowest position since her breakthrough. Song number three on side one was a new Andrews composition entitled "I Don't Think You Want Me Anymore," and was followed by two more of his previously released numbers - "Keep In Touch" and "Stop Before You Start," which had been B-sides to the singles "I Don't Need Anything" and the Top 20 "Nothing Comes Easy" respectively. "Keep In Touch" was released as a single in some territories, and reached Number 1 in Singapore in March 1967.

The use of the pictorial elements of painting such as line and color to convey an ultimate unifying theme or idea was regarded as the highest expression of art, and an idealism was adopted in art, whereby forms seen in nature would be generalized, and in turn subordinated to the unity of the artwork. It aimed at universal truth through the imitation of nature. Later dissenting theorists, such as Gotthold Ephraim Lessing, held that this focus on allegory was faulty and based on a wrong analogy between the plastic arts and poetry rooted in the Horatian dictum ut pictura poesis ("as is painting so is poetry"). The 2008 year-end rankings include the number of points under the 2008 points system, and doubled, as they were at the end of the year by the ATP, to fit the 2009 points system (the doubles (team) rankings points were not doubled, as they were calculated under the ATP Race points system in 2008). The doubled year- end rankings were never officially published though, as the first rankings of 2009 already counted the drop of the 2008 season openers' points due to a calendar change.

In Dutch sports, The Big Three () (or The Traditional Top Three ()) is the nickname for the three most successful rivalling football clubs in the Netherlands: Ajax from Amsterdam, Feyenoord from Rotterdam and PSV from Eindhoven. Collectively they amounted for 73 of the 130 Dutch Football Championships ever played, and the three generally end up sharing the top three positions and contending for the title. None of them have been relegated from the Eredivisie either, having been participants in all editions since 1956–57 season; the lowest position any of them has earned is 14th, PSV, while Ajax and Feyenoord's lowest positions have been 13th. Several other clubs outside the big three have won the Dutch league, with HVV Den Haag having the fourth most national titles behind the Big Three in the Netherlands with 10 in total; however, the last time they won was in 1914. After the Eredivisie was established in 1956, AZ Alkmaar (2 times), DOS, Sparta Rotterdam, DWS and FC Twente were the only other champions, outside the “Big Three” clubs.

The song debuted at number 57 on the Billboard Hot 100, the issue dated September 10, 1988. Nine weeks later, it peaked at number five on the chart, the issue date of November 12, 1988, becoming Houston's tenth top 10 hit on the Hot 100, and spent 17 weeks on the chart. It also debuted on the Billboard Hot R&B;/Hip-Hop Songs (formerly "Hot Black Singles") at number 78, the issue dated September 17, 1988, and six weeks later reached a peak of 22, her lowest position on the R&B; chart at the time. On the issue date of November 5, 1988, the single peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot Adult Contemporary chart, making it her seventh number-one single on the chart, and stayed on the top for two weeks. It ranked number 89 on the Billboard Hot 100 Year-End chart of 1988.

On Monday 5 April John McCormack was sacked by Clyde. More history was made in a home match with Peterhead on 17 April 2010, when Willie Sawyers scored after only eight seconds, which became the fastest Clyde goal ever recorded. Despite this, the club was subsequently relegated for the second season in a row, dropping down to the Third Division where they made a disastrous start to the campaign, including an 8–1 thrashing at the hands of Montrose. On Wednesday 2 February 2011, Stuart Millar was sacked as manager of Clyde. They finished 10th in the Third Division, which at 42nd and last place overall is the lowest position in the Scottish league system. On 20 April 2013 Clyde's owners voted to move to East Kilbride and rename the club EK Clyde FC, however this plan would later be abandoned. The 2013–14 season saw a significant improvement on the field when a League One play-off spot was secured in the penultimate league match of the season. In the previous six seasons Clyde had finished in the bottom two positions of every league campaign.

Methven also had to contend with his deteriorating eyesight. Derby struggled throughout the season and managed to stay up by just two points, finishing 18th; largely thanks to a run which saw them collect 4 wins and a draw from their last 5 games. The efforts of the 1919/20 season provided just a brief reprieve for Derby, and they finished the 1920–21 season in 20th place, four points away from safety. Still struggling to replace Bloomer, the club set a club record of just 32 goals (which was to stand for over 80 years) and won just 5 out of their 42 matches. Methven fulfilled one final season as Derby County manager in their first season back in the second tier, guiding them to a lowly 12th place in the 1921–22 Second Division, the lowest position in the club's history, and, suffering from glaucoma and after undergoing an unsuccessful eye operation, left the club at the age of 53, ending a 31-year association with Derby County. Despite rumours linking former-England International Colin Veitch with the position, the club announced on 4 July 1922 that, after interviewing four applicants for the job, they had appointed Cecil Potter.
