Business executive Cleo Vanderlip, an old rival of SJ North from decades earlier, sought to crash the stock value of her employer, the high-tech corporation Rycom, so she could take it over. She arranged for them to purchase and heavily invest in Luke Jacobson Fashion, planning to ruin the company by killing Luke. Making herself Merchandising vice president, she blackmailed Luke's love-struck Assistant, Anna Stasio, into assisting her.
A traditional family pantomime is produced in-house annually for the Christmas season each year. The 2019 production of Cinderella starred Kara- Lianne Jones and Prince Charming (David Witts) as the love-struck young couple who will live happily ever after come the end of the show. Joining them on stage was the entertaining sister act - Alexa (Amanda Henderson) and Siri (Alix Dunmore) - who were good, bad and indeed ugly, as Cinders' sisters. In addition, it regularly attracts a host of touring theatre productions.

However, he finds himself love-struck by the banker's beautiful daughter, Annabel Adams, and begins to fall in love with her. In order to get such a beautiful girl, he decides to turn over a new leaf and give up his criminal career and take another alias, Ralph D. Spencer. "Ralph" opens a shoe-making store and is very successful in doing so.
Being lovestruck means having mental and physical symptoms associated with falling in love: 'Love-struck...means to be hit by love...you are hit in your heart by the emotion of love'.Jennifer Overton, Snapshots of Autism (2003) p. 58 While historically being lovestruck has been viewed as a short-lived mental illness brought on by the intense changes associated with romantic love, this view has been out of favor since the humoral model was abandoned, and since the advent of modern scientific psychiatry.
Love-struck and a bit addled he almost blows the entire scheme. Palaestrio's cleverness and Pyrgopolynices' stupidity keep all rolling along and he successfully wins back his girl. • Pyrgopolynices (miles gloriosus 'braggart soldier'): the character the play is named after, he is a soldier in the army who brags about the many feats he has accomplished on the battlefield and in the bedroom. From the opening scene to play's end his great deeds are shown to be as hollow as his character is deluded.
Smith p. 163 In more recent times the poet Papanasam Sivan (1890–1973) composed four songs which describe Bhikshatana. In "Picchaikku Vandiro", Sivan wonders why Shiva roams as beggar and muses that it may be because Parvati is asking for jewels or his son Ganesha is asking for modak (sweets), or perhaps just to show the world that he looks fabulous, even as a mendicant. The "Saundarya Vellantanil" tells of a love-struck maiden describing Bhikshatana's beauty from head to toe and her longing for him.
Stone's brother and the police begin to investigate these occurrences. Meanwhile, in the excitement of the moment, Stone suddenly seems to notice the love-struck Ms. Dunn for the first time, remarking after putting on a different pair of glasses that something about her "looks different," as she glows with adoration towards him. Soon, the creature appears again to Stone after he puts on a pair of the meteoric glasses. The creature, the titular Eck, explains that he was trapped in our dimensional plane when he fell through an experimental portal.
The Courier Mail said it featured "love-struck schoolboy lyrics and passion", and The Advertiser called it the best Australian album of 2005, praising "urgent vocals and angular guitars". Guy Blackman of The Age called the Hudson's vocals "unashamedly accented" but said it was "almost refreshing to hear an Australian sing in a thick British brogue rather than the usual faux-American twang". At the J Award of 2005, the album was nominated for Australian Album of the Year. Following the release of Addicted Romantic, Faker toured around Australia, supporting New York band The Bravery.
When speaking, Caliburn shows extreme affection towards him and talks like a love-struck teenage girl. Arthur has a great dislike of Rin (simply because of his lineage), being annoyed that the son of Satan destroyed the Impure King. Arthur is a terrible liar, and hinted to be somewhat of an idiot (by Shura) since he always lets Lightning do the thinking for him. In the spin-off, Salaryman Exorcist, it is shown that Arthur has an immense distaste for dirty objects getting near him and draws Caliburn to eliminate the dirt.
Instead, Isabel's Aunt Clara visits and aids Isabel in casting a spell on Jack in order to make him fall in love with her. Jack's affection for Isabel grows and he asks her out on a date, making Isabel forget about the hex.
Howard made his film debut in 2005 with the indie film Love Struck and worked primarily in television movies and short films. In 2010, he played the role of Ken Masters in the short film Street Fighter: Legacy opposite Jon Foo as Ryu. In addition to playing Ken, Howard also co-wrote the screenplay and assisted with fight choreography with director Joey Ansah. He earned his first male lead role in a feature film with Ross Boyask's sword and sorcery homage Warrioress opposite Cecily Fay, who met Howard while he worked as a stuntman.
Eventually the relationship broke down and the screenplay was never produced. In 2000/2001 Modern Life? managing partner Phil Hobden was offered the chance to work on the Dave Courtney gangster action film Hell to Pay alongside its original director Ross Boyask but turned it down, instead focusing on setting up Modern Life? In 2001 the short film "Pure Vengeance", starring Scott Adkins (Bourne Ultimatum, The Shepherd: Border Patrol), Brendan Carr (Love Struck, Ten Dead Men' and Gordon Alexander (Accidental Spy, The Purifiers) was screened on the Jonathan Ross show Stop Kung Fu.
Also in 1993, Khan performed a nude scene with Deepa Sahi in Maya Memsaab, although parts of it were censored by the Central Board of Film Certification. The ensuing controversy prompted him to eschew such scenes in future roles. In 1994, Khan played a love-struck musician in Kundan Shah's comedy-drama film Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa opposite Deepak Tijori and Suchitra Krishnamurthy, which he later professed was his favourite role. His performance earned him a Filmfare Critics Award for Best Performance, and in a retrospective review from 2004, Sukanya Verma of Rediff.
He seems to be a very friendly person most of the time. ;Ju Yoo: A first year in high school, he has been described as being love struck most of the time but is otherwise a good guy. In the summer, he is nicknamed "Red Sleeveless" due to the red sleeveless shirt he wears during that time and in contrast he's nicknamed "Black turtleneck" in the winter for similar reasons. ;Dar Jay: A second year in high school, most of the time he's all talk and is not really that strong.
She appears in one noteworthy tale, "Gastone e il debole dalla Fortuna" ("Gladstone and the Struck of Luck"), by Enrico Faccini and Augusto Macchetto, first published on March 24, 1998. In this story, the Goddess takes mortal guise in order to be able to date her favorite gander, and appears to be love-struck with him. His exact relation to the Duck Family Tree at its early stages was somewhat uncertain. In Carl Barks' original version of the family tree from the 1950s, Gladstone was the son of Luke the Goose and Daphne Duck who died by overeating at a free-lunch picnic.
The film's producer, N. Linguswamy, ultimately failed to provide Sivakarthikeyan with his salary due to losses incurred by the film's delayed release. His film Remo, directed by debutant Bakkiyaraj Kannan and produced by R. D. Raja, featured Sivakarthikeyan playing love-struck youth disguising himself as a female nurse to befriend his love interest. Sivakarthikeyan's next venture was director Mohan Raja's action-thriller, Velaikkaran, pairing with Nayanthara and featuring Fahadh Faasil as the main antagonist. The film, which revolves around an employee fighting against food adulteration in society, was released on 22 December 2017 to positive reviews from critics.
LaSalle's fee for each of his services is the usual ten per cent, but what George doesn't realise is that he'll be selling off pieces of his soul in ever-increasing increments. George's first wish is for a million dollars; he gets it. Then, when he fantasises about having a woman like Rita Marlowe love him, the suddenly love-struck Rita re-enters and Act One ends with George carrying her into the bedroom. The subjects of Before You Know It are no ordinary senior citizens. They are go-go booted bar-hoppers, love struck activists, troublemaking baton twirlers, late night Internet cruisers, seasoned renegades, and bold adventurers. They are also among the estimated 2.4 million LGBT Americans over the age of 55 in the U.S. many of whom face heightened levels of discrimination, neglect and exclusion. But Before You Know It is not a film about cold statistics, it's a film about generational trailblazers who have surmounted prejudice and defied expectation to form communities of strength, renewal and camaraderie.
For much of the novel Nat sighs over the slim, virginal blonde like a love-struck adolescent, while showing little or no interest in women of his own race. Issues of class divided readers as well. While the white slaveowners in the novel, especially the wealthy ones, are represented as generous, courteous, and basically decent, poor whites are held up to ridicule as simpletons and deviants. Turner and his supporters (particularly the scene-stealing, scenery-chewing madman Will, who many readers saw as a thinly disguised version of black rock and roll pioneer Little Richard) are caricatured as disturbed, monstrous figures.
Without making their feelings conspicuous to others, with love-struck sentiments, they crossed the line and consummated their affectionate bond. In a story about the exile of the sons of a particular king Okkaka, the king exiled the sons and daughters born from his former head queen as he now had a new bride and promised to make the children from his new marriage the successors to the throne. However, before the left, their father reminded them of the prohibition of marrying anyone outside of their caste. The former princes alongside their older sisters, the princesses, arrived at the river Bhagirathi.
Bandung Bandawasa insisted on the union, and finally Rara Jonggrang agreed on two impossible conditions: first the prince must build a well named Jalatunda, and second, he must construct a thousand temples in only one night. The love-struck prince agreed, and immediately started work on the well. Using his supernatural powers once again and summoning all manner of demons, the prince swiftly finished construction and proudly displayed his work for the princess. As a trick, she urged him to enter the well and when he did so, Patih Gupolo piled stones into it and buried him alive.
Like many other characters in the musical adaptation of Wicked, Nessarose is portrayed very differently from the novel. In the musical, she is not chosen to be a sorceress by Madame Morrible, and was not born armless, but is instead was born with damage to her legs and uses a wheelchair. As in the novel, she is very beautiful and requires her sister's assistance on occasion, but the adaptation presents her as a more tragic character. In an effort to shoo away a persistent love-struck Munchkin named Boq, Glinda arranges a date between him and Nessarose.
The relationship is continuously strained and matters are only made worse by Chad's growing closeness with Melanie Jonas (Molly Burnett). Deidrick said that Chad and Melanie's kiss is accidental on the part of his character, but explains that "Melanie makes Chad feel good, kind of like a kid," as opposed to Abigail who is dealing with her chaotic family life. Deidrick said that Chad is so "love struck" over Melanie that he doesn't even notice Gabi's feelings. On other hand, Melanie wants to maintain a friendship with Chad to keep him from hurting Abigail any further.
The Technologist Ed. by P.L. Simmonds edited by Peter Lund Simmonds p.40 It's usually made with 60 to 150 proof (30–75%) alcohol by volume, and can be made by placing orange leaves, basil, chamomile, rosemary, sage, juniper, cloves, cinnamon, toasted coffee beans, saffron, mint, lemon leaves, mandarin leaves, thyme blossoms, and marjoram in a bottle. 'White Unsweetened Centerbe' is an ingredient in the forgotten (presumably French) Coup de Foudre ['Love Struck'] cocktail, included in the United Kingdom Bartenders Guild's '1700 Cocktails' (1934). Verbatim, the recipe is: 1/3 White Unsweetened Centerbe', 1/3 Red Curaçao, 1/3 Coates Plymouth Gin.

The story follows three different persons travelling the Argentine Patagonia. The first is Don Justo, an elderly man who hands over the running of his grocery store to his overbearing son and daughter-in-law and escapes to search for his lost dog, named Badface. The second, Roberto, is a love-struck obsessive-compulsive traveling salesman who drives to San Julián, to surprise one of his clients by bringing a cake for her child's birthday. Finally, María Flores is a lower class woman who travels to San Julián with her daughter because she has won a spot on "Multicoloured Casino", a fusty TV game show.

On Metacritic, the film has a weighted average score of 66 out of 100, based on 7 critics, indicating "generally favorable reviews". Writing a four star review in The Observer, Mark Kermode said "I shed a tear within the first 10 minutes, and spent the rest of the movie beaming like a gibbering, love-struck fool". Tara Brand writing in The Irish Times likened it to The Umbrellas of Cherbourg and Cath Clarke writing in Time Out described it as "a wet, sloppy dog-kiss of a film".
Melissa Whitworth of The Daily Telegraph described McCaig's Butler as "touchy-feely". In The New York Times, Stephen Carter noted that the character of Rhett Butler was made into a more human, flawed person than either Mitchell or Ripley portrayed him to be. However, he stated that the novel transformed Rhett from the man of mystery that drew readers to him into "a version of the angst-ridden, on-the-make, love-struck antihero of modern fiction: Rhett Butler as channeled by Rabbit Angstrom [of Rabbit, Run] or T. S. Garp [of The World According to Garp]." He then wondered if such a Rhett was one wanted by readers.
The play is set in Syracuse and the surrounding countryside. Venus, on her way to Syracuse to humble the pride of Queen Sapho, endows a young ferryman named Phao with great beauty. (In some of the myths, Phaon is an old ferryman of Lesbos who is rewarded by Aphrodite with renewed youth and beauty after he transports her from Mytilene to Chios.) The beautiful waiting women of Sapho's court learn of Phao, flirt with and court him; but he is disdainful of them. When Sapho catches sight of Phao she instantly falls in love with him; and Phao in turn is love-struck with her.
Writing for The Hindu, the critic Ziya Us Salam did not find him to be "hero material", adding that "boyhood seems to have overstayed on his face but he is not necessarily bad in the acting department." The film, however, proved to be a sleeper hit at the box office and won Kapoor the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. Following his debut, Kapoor reunited with Ghosh in a film he considered to be drastically different from Ishq Vishk. The thriller Fida (2004) featured him as a love- struck student who is manipulated by a woman (Kareena Kapoor) and her lover (Fardeen Khan) to rob a bank.
He hypnotizes Shaggy to become fearless and unstoppable when he heard the word "bad," and to switch back to normal when he hears it again. Then he orders Shaggy to forget everything; unfortunately, Hubley himself is affected by the hypnosis and he can't remember the key word for Shaggy. Daphne, Fred, and Velma go back to the dig to look for clues, but Velma is so love struck that she's not much use. She misses an obvious clue about many footprints going to a part of the cave where Winsor says they never go because of the snakes that lurk in the lower cave levels.
Olin had a successful acting career, appearing in lead roles in a number of early Ingmar Bergman films, including Torment/Frenzy () (1944; Bergman's script debut), Crisis (1946), Kvinna utan ansikte (Woman Without a Face) (1947; script by Bergman), Port of Call (1948), Eva (1948; script by Bergman), Prison (1949), To Joy (1950), Summer Interlude (1951) and Divorced (1951; script by Bergman). Damien Scott from Complex said that the song is a "Head head nod-inducing track with a riding bass line that has a 15-year-old Aaliyah reprising Bobby Caldwell (“I got a thing for you, and I won't let go.”) to assert her assurance about her forbidden love.". He also felt that the song was an important part of Aaliyah's career and that it shouldn't be forgotten. When discussing the lyrical content of the song Kenneth Pathridge from Billboard said "She sings it not like a love-struck teenager but rather a poised young woman mature enough to handle a relationship with an older man".
Borrowing the book, the Crusaders create the potion, and again lure Cheerilee and Big McIntosh to a romantic setting. The older ponies drink the concoction, and magically fall in love with each other, forgetting about everything else beyond being with each other. Though initially pleased, the Crusaders realize this is not the desired result, and upon consulting the book, learn that the potion caused Equestria to fall into chaos centuries ago when the prince and princess who drank it were too lovestruck to rule their kingdom. Fortunately, there is a remedy: the two love-struck ponies must be kept out of eyesight of each other for one hour to break the spell.
Her performance as a dedicated small town teacher observing her students' lives over several decades in Kinoshita's The Twenty-four Eyes (1954) is credited with that film's tremendous success and enduring popularity in Japan. Another powerful performance was as a tenant farmer's daughter in the 1961 film Immortal Love. Takamine was especially favored by director Mikio Naruse, starring in a dozen of his films and portraying strong-willed, hardworking women struggling in poverty or lowly positions, and often held down by the traditional family system. Some examples include her roles as the tragic, love-struck heroine in Floating Clouds (1955) and an aging Ginza bar hostess desperate to escape her circumstances in When a Woman Ascends the Stairs (1960).
In early 1983, Vaughan's vocals were recorded at Riverside Sound in Austin, Texas. "Love Struck Baby" is 2 minutes 19 seconds long and cited as a blues rock song on the sheet music published on Musicnotes.com by Alfred Music Publishing, composed in the key of A♭. It consists of a twelve-bar blues chord progression which is repeated for the first verse and guitar solos; the second, third, and fourth verses are played with a D♭–A♭–D♭–E♭ progression, while the choruses are played with a A♭–D♭–A♭–E♭ progression. The lyrics were written about the night that Vaughan and his then-wife, Lenny, moved in together.
When he finally sets his eyes on Padmi his world is turned upside down as he falls head over heels for her. He sweats profusely, struggles to maintain eye contact and mumbles his words through conversations during the drive back to the village. His situation is not helped by the fact that her Sinhala is understandably not the best while he has no clue about the English language. Over the next few days and weeks, the love-struck Gajaman makes every possible attempt to reach out to Padmi and express his feelings for her, well aware of the fact that if his boss gets to know he will surely be in hot water.
He had initially waived his right to a trial by jury, but changed his mind in June of that year. In December 2017, the judge set Godejohn's trial for November 2018. In their opening statement, prosecutors alleged that Godejohn had deliberated for over a year before the crime, while his lawyers pointed to his autism and said that Gypsy had formulated the crime and their love-struck client had just done as she had asked. The next day, prosecutors showed jurors the text messages, sometimes sexually explicit, that Gypsy and Godejohn shared in the week before the murder, often using various personas, as well as the knife which he had used to commit the murder.
The woman insists that he searches her and kisses him on the lips two more times. Amazingly, the target is still alive and kicking so the next scene involves her crushing him with a grand piano suspended from the ceiling. Drake predictably ends up on the receiving end of this reenactment after startling the woman into releasing the rope holding up the piano, which falls and crushes him through the floor, leaving him with piano keys for teeth. Even though the victim has been shot twice and squished by a piano, he is still defiantly clinging on to life, with the love struck duck getting another chance to kiss him on the cheek.
For the Threepwood family, and their friends, the castle is forever available for indefinite residence, and is occasionally used as a temporary prison--known as "Devil's Island" or "The Bastille"--for love-struck young men and ladies to calm down. Emsworth's sister Ann plays the role of châtelaine when we first visit the Castle, in Something Fresh. Following her reign, Lady Constance Keeble acts as châtelaine until she marries American millionaire James Schoonmaker. Lady Julia Fish is "the iron hand beneath the leather glove", whose son Ronald Fish ("Ronnie") marries a chorus girl named Sue Brown, who is the daughter of the only woman whom Gally ever loved--Dolly Henderson, though Gally insists Sue is not Ronnie's cousin.
Set in the mid 1880s, the play opens with an active main street featuring an Indian boarding school/jail, Stewed Prunes Saloon, and brothel. Momaday, a love-struck 16 year–old Pawnee Native American, and Grandfather, also Pawnee, introduce their story of removal from their homeland Kit Tuk Creek to Genoa, Nebraska. This scene leads into the love story between Momaday and Caitlin, a 16-year-old Irish orphan. They secretly meet in the street to talk, occasionally in the forbidden Pawnee language. It is revealed that Caitlin is pregnant with Momaday’s child and the couple have been married in ‘Pawnee way’, rather than Christian ceremony, thereby casting their intercourse as an unlawful act in Genoa.
Giving three stars out of five, K. Naresh Kumar of The Hans India was critical of the film's pace and a few subplots in the second half. He wrote: "As a tale of a love-struck man, who falters and finally figures out what is best for him, the experiment that the director undertakes is tedious, stretching out time and again". Murali Krishna CH, in his review for the Cinema Express, praised the unpredictability of the first half but was apprehensive of some emotional scenes in the second half; he found them a "serious flaw" after the intermission. The film has also drawn criticism for its misogyny and glorification of toxic masculinity.

The South Park connection comes about as the creators of the show and several staff of South Park recalled having fond memories frequenting the establishment as children in the Denver suburbs. In Eureka, a reference to "Casa Bonita" is made, where an "artificial intelligent" love-struck Andy, who is the deputy of the town Sheriff in the new alternate timeline, regards the sheriff's "artificial intelligent" house S.A.R.A.H. as his "Casa Bonita" when stuck on Titan (Saturn's moon) by an accidental journey using the series' fictional "faster-than-light" technology. Lisa-Marie Ferla of The Arts Desk described the track as a perfect mix of sleigh bells, love-struck festive clichés and soaring choruses to produce something that could have been written for the Love Actually soundtrack. Crosswalk.com's Christa Banister praised the song's homage to Spector's Wall of Sound as bright and fantastic. Sarah Rodman of The Boston Globe described it as a sparkly treat, with a nice melancholy undertone familiar to anyone who knows the holiday blues. In his review of the album, Jon Caramanica of The New York Times described the song as the right combination of vintage and fresh and regarded it as the closest Clarkson can come as the only pop artist with a possibility to create a modern holiday classic along the lines of Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You" (1994).

Magnifico's world is filled with a cast of characters in need of his special gifts of hope, of determination, of love. There's the grief-stricken man who mourns for his mother; two feuding shop owners; the crabby old woman who runs the mortuary; his elder brother, who has a crush on a wealthy girl; his little sister, who wants to get out and experience the world, but cannot walk; and even his own ailing grandmother, who worries that the family won't be able to afford a proper burial for her when the time comes. That's a pretty tall order for just one boy. Nonetheless, Magnifico applies himself diligently to the task, concocting a remedy for the mortician's ailments, playing matchmaker for his love struck brother, industriously scheming to provide a burial gown and coffin for his grandmother, and negotiating a wheelchair so he can take his invalid sister to the carnival.
His first major onscreen appearance was in his first collaboration with Meadows in A Room for Romeo Brass (1999) in which he played the small-town disturbed character Morell. Aubrey Beardsley: "The Death of Pierrot", The Savoy, August 1896.In the England of the Aesthetic Movement, Pierrot figured prominently in the drawings of Aubrey Beardsley; various writers--Henry Austin Dobson, Arthur Symons, Olive Custance --seized upon him for their poetry ("After Watteau" [1893], Poem first published in December 1893 number of Harper's Magazine. "Pierrot in Half- Mourning" [1896], "Pierrot" [1897], respectively); and Ernest Dowson wrote the verse-play Pierrot of the Minute (1897, illustrated by Beardsley). (The American poet William Theodore Peters, who commissioned Dowson's piece and would play Pierrot in its premiere, published a poetic "Epilogue" for it in 1896, and the composer Sir Granville Bantock would later contribute an orchestral prologue [1908].) One of the gadflies of Aestheticism, W. S. Gilbert, introduced Harlequin and Pierrot as love-struck twin brothers into Eyes and No Eyes, or The Art of Seeing (1875), for which Thomas German Reed wrote the music.
But he also had a very lyrical and soft side to him as an actor, something he showed in the TV production of Hans Christian och sällskapet (where he plays a village priest who suffers a great personal tragedy as his wife loses her mind after having a baby) and in the TV adaptation of Birger Sjöberg's Frida och hennes vän (based on Sjöberg's Frida's Book) where he plays the light-hearted, daydreaming early 1900s love-struck suitor of Frida. Adding the fact that Järegård also had a beautiful and expressive singing voice (he performed in a number of stage musicals during his career) gave him an incredible range and versatility as an actor. He originated the role of Guido in the first European staging of the musical Nine, for example (Oscarsteatern, Stockholm, 1983). His distinct and original voice (with traces of the unmistakable Skåne-dialect) also made him a much appreciated and beloved narrator of children's cartoons and audio books.
