Rob Massam (born 29 October 1987) is a Wales international rugby league footballer who plays as a er for the North Wales Crusaders in Betfred League 1. He has previously played for the North Wales Crusaders. He was a key player for Chester Gladiators, and was selected to represent England Lionhearts in 2010 scoring the winning try in England's 34-30 win over Wales Dragonhearts in Somerset. He scored against Wales Dragonhearts again in 2011 in Caerphilly but was unable to stop the Welsh from winning 30-24 and lifting the trophy.

Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Animation (or MGM Animation for short) is the animation division of the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer motion picture studio in Hollywood, California, United States, that specializes in animated productions for theatrical features and television. The Lionheart first flew on 27 July 1997 and was first displayed in public at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh a few days later. Five kits were sold by April 1998, and two of the kits were completed by 2001, with another almost complete. As of August 2011, three Lionhearts are registered in the United States, with another example on display in an aviation museum at Tullahoma Regional Airport in Tullahoma, Tennessee.

The match against England Lionhearts was partly the catalyst for continued rugby league development on the Maltese Islands and has helped set up a domestic competition within Malta. A crowd of approximately 750 were in attendance for the first rugby league match in Malta played at Matthew Micallef St John Athletic Stadium, Marsa. The British Lionhearts are an amateur team that was established in 2012 to compete in the third season of the World Series Boxing tournament. Although the competition is organised by the International Boxing Association and only open to amateur boxers and professional boxers with less than 15 bouts, the competition is in effect professional as the competitors are paid a salary and prize money. The team, which is based at the English Institute of Sport – Sheffield, took part in its first contest on 15 November 2012, facing the USA Knockouts at The Hanger at Costa Mesa in California. The first British team consisted of Anthony Fowler, Joe Cordina, Zlatko Ledic, Uaine Fa and Sean McGoldrick.

Frazer Clarke (born 7 August 1991) is a British amateur boxer who is affiliated with Burton ABC. In December 2015, he won the super heavyweight division at the Rio 2016 test event. In 2016, he was ultimately overlooked for Olympic qualification in favour of fellow super heavyweight boxer Joe Joyce (who went on to claim the silver medal in Rio 2016); however, he did make the British Lionhearts squad for their maiden WSB final against the Cuba Domadores and won his match against Lenier Pero, thereby denying the Domadores what would have otherwise been a 10–0 whitewash. In 2017, he contested the European Championships and finished with a silver medal despite tearing his hamstring en route to the final.

Southampton Spitfires Rugby League Club was formed during the summer of 2007 by Yorkshireman Glenn Tyreman and a group of Rugby League enthusiasts based in Tyreman's adopted home of Southampton. He previously coached New Earswick All Blacks, Heworth, Basingstoke Beasts, St. Albans Centurions, Kent Ravens, South West of England Wildcats, London & South East, London UK, South of England, England Lionhearts and Harlequins RL. In 2007 the Spitfires played their first ever match against Kent Ravens in a London League game and won 56-16. The following season in 2008 the Spitfires moved into the London League again played a total of 8 games, winning four and losing four. This was enough to secure 3rd place in the table and a play-off semi-final against West London Sharks.
