The museum, designed by Alvar Aalto and completed in 1973, is located on a slope which lies next to Lake Jyväsjärvi. Together with the Museum of Central Finland (Alvar Aalto, 1961), these buildings form a cultural centre in the immediate vicinity of the University of Jyväskylä (Alvar Aalto, 1951–71). Both museums represent Aalto's "white period". The ten years' difference in the design of the buildings can be seen especially in the façades — the façade of the Museum of Central Finland, rising from a slope of a hill, shows the geometric practicality of early functionalism, whereas the Aalto Museum is more closed in, but at the same time more free in its form.

The lock was further improved in 1960, when the two locks were made into one, capable of holding eight standard Trent barges. Cromwell Weir by the side of the lock is one of the largest weirs on the Trent and marks the tidal limit of the river. On 28 September 1975, during an eighty-mile, night navigation exercise in extreme weather conditions, ten members of the 131 Parachute Squadron, Royal Engineers were killed after a power failure caused the navigation lights on the weir to go out and their boat went over the crest. A memorial garden with a block of Scottish granite bearing the names of the men who died, lies next to the lock.

The southern end of the Y starts at Ballance Peak and proceeds northward, encompassing the Feistmantel Valley and Mount Watters, before it splits into the northwest Tilman Ridge and the northeast Shipton Ridge. The Jurassic Mawson Formation outcrops from Ballance Point until where these two ridges come together, and the Permian Weller Formation outcrops. Along the Shipton Ridge, the Triassic Feather Formation lies next to the Weller, followed by the Triassic Lashley Formation, which continues from Halle Flat and Roscolyn Tor, through Toltec Butte, until the northerly end of the ridge at Lavallee Point.

A Brazilian seven-string guitar Soulezza 7 String Guitar The seven-string guitar adds one additional string to the more common six-string guitar, commonly used to extend the bass range (usually a low B) or also to extend the treble range. The additional string is added in one of two different ways: by increasing the width of the fingerboard such that the additional string may be fretted by the left hand; or, by leaving the fingerboard unchanged and adding a "floating" bass string. In the latter case, the extra bass string lies next to the existing bass strings, but free of the fingerboard in similar fashion as the archlute and theorbo. Such unfrettable bass strings were historically known as diapasons or bourdons.

Postglacial, mafic eruptions are more common in the Sisters Reach — which includes Belknap — than anywhere in the Cascade volcanic arc. A lava flow lies next to South Cinder Peak, the Nash Crater–Lost Lake cone cluster, Sand Mountain Volcanic Field, Inaccessible Cone chain, Blue Lake Crater, and a number of monogenetic scoria cones and chains. The McKenzie and Santiam Pass area saw more than a dozen distinct mafic eruptions between 4,500 and 1,100 years ago according to radiocarbon dating, which corresponded to a pulse of mafic eruptions in the late Holocene epoch. Other nearby mafic eruptive units occur at Sims Butte, Cayuse Crater, LeConte Crater, Mount Bachelor, the Egan Cone cluster, and the Katsuk-Talapus chain, which likely were all emplaced between 18,00 and 8,000 years ago.
Warned by Andreas via the new priest, Vogel escapes in the night in an attempt to warn the Captain but is shot and mortally wounded. As he lay dying, the Captain approaches alone, likewise mortally wounded, slips from his horse, and lies next to Vogel. The Captain reveals that in the confusion of the battle, his company had joined the wrong side in the conflict and had been wiped out, leaving him as the sole survivor. The two contemplate the final irony of the war in which Catholics and Protestants fought on both sides of the war, changing sides frequently, and the overall futility of warfare: "You might put it that in the confusion we joined the wrong army," the Captain says.
The doppelgänger tells her Ray never showed up for their meeting, and that he might borrow her gun for a job. He lies next to her and hugs her, then tells her that he killed Jack after discovering that he wired the car. Darya tries to escape, but the doppelgänger smashes her head against the headboard of the bed and plays a recording of her phone conversation with Ray, in which the two discuss his imprisonment in a South Dakota federal prison for interstate transportation of firearms and their task to assassinate Cooper, which was assigned to them by a man named Jeffries and is now entrusted entirely to her. Darya tries to escape once again, and the doppelgänger smashes her head against the headboard thrice.
The inscription is dated to year 41 of king Mentuhotep II. On reliefs from the mortuary temple of the same king in Deir el-Bahari Meketre bears the title of chancellor and was evidently promoted in the meantime, succeeding Kheti.Wolfram Grajetzki: Die höchsten Beamten der ägyptischen Zentralverwaltung zur Zeit des Mittleren Reiches. Berlin 2000, 45 The same title was found on a statue in Meketre's tomb while on relief fragments in the tomb he held the main title of high steward. The tomb (TT280) is located in Sheikh Abd el-Qurna, part of the Theban Necropolis, and lies next to a large, unfinished royal tomb which was originally attributed to king Mentuhotep III and, after new research, to Amenemhat I. Therefore, Meketre most likely died under the latter king.
Often, people have regular outbreaks of anywhere from 1 to 10 times per year, but stress (because the virus lies next to the nerve cells), or a weakened immune system due to a temporary or permanent illness can also spark outbreaks. Some people become infected but fail to ever have a single outbreak, although they remain carriers of the virus and can pass the disease on to an uninfected person through asymptomatic shedding (when the virus is active on the skin but rashes or blisters do not appear). The use of antiviral medications has been shown to be effective in preventing acquisition of the herpes virus. Specific usage of these agents focus on wrestling camps where intense contact between individuals occur on a daily basis over several weeks.
The synopsis for the second version of the video begins with Dido wearing all blue clothing shooting a scene in all blue coloured bedroom set. After finishing filming she cleans herself up and takes a long walk on the streets in Downtown, Toronto. After stopping at a coffee shop to buy herself some coffee Dido immediately drops it and continues walking the streets alone thus dropping her coat in the process. The video ends with Dido letting herself in at an apartment, where she finds a man (presumably her onscreen boyfriend) asleep and then lies next to him in his bed before the shot zooms out to reveal itself to be a photograph with Dido back in her blue clothes and bedroom set again holding it, then turns it over and pushes it against her chest.
Historically, Terešov had the oldest, as well as one of the most important Jewish communities in the Rokycany District, established already in 1623 (though some sources say even "a hundred years before that", i.e. 1520). Until the 19th Century, the Jewish Community of Terešov ("Israelitische Cultusgemeinde Tereschau") was the natural administrative and religious center for all the local small Jewish communities of the region, with a cemetery, a chevra kadisha, a rabbi, a cheder, a schochet, a mikvah and a synagogue. The synagogue has burned down and subsequently has been pulled down by the communist authorities in 1964. The Jewish Cemetery is still preserved till today, though in a somewhat mediocre condition; about 2 km NE from the village lies, next to the road to Bílá Skála, an area of approximately 4000 m2 with some 300 tombstones.

It is mentioned in Les Misérables by Victor Hugo: :"How did those children come there? Perhaps they had escaped from some guardhouse which stood ajar; perhaps in the vicinity, at the barrière d'Enfer, or on the esplanade de l'Observatoire, or in the neighboring carrefour, dominated by the pediment on which could be read: invenerunt parvulum pannis involutum ["they discovered the infant wrapped in swaddling clothes"], there was some mountebank's booth from which they had fled […]." Here, astride the opening in the wall, the architect Claude Nicolas Ledoux constructed two tollhouses to be used for the collection of the octroi, a local tariff levied on products entering Paris. At the center of the present square, these two pavilions once framed the opening in the wall, and now, oddly, the entrance to the underworld of the catacombs lies next to the western one of them, the pavilion at the barrière d'Enfer ("barrier of Hell").
