The Naval chronicle, Volume 18, pp.515-6. No lives were lost as the fishing smack Samuel came up and Leverets crew used her boats to transfer to the smack. A contemporary newspaper report has the gale forcing Leveret onto the "Long Sand", where she lost her rudder. With of water in her hold, she was drifting towards the Galloper Rock.

Kathy's father, Walden, robbed the stagecoach because his health was failing and he wanted his daughter to have enough money to support herself. Leveret, a telegraph operator who knew the stage's schedule, ambushed it and murdered the driver shortly afterward, not knowing that the money had already been stolen.

Antelope jackrabbits breed from December to September and the gestation period is roughly six weeks long. Females have up to four litters per year ranging from one to five individuals. A baby hare, called a leveret, is born precocial; its eyes are open, it is active, and covered with fur. Young are born in shallow dirt nests that are formed by scraping the surface of the ground.

The House Shield is a derivative of the ancient Leverett family crest depicting three hares rampant with an inverted chevron. The family name is derived from the word "leveret" (with one "t"), which means young hare; family tradition has it that the earliest recorded family members were keepers of ferrets, which were trained to chase rabbits from their burrows. The official house colors are black and yellow, appearing on the earliest House paraphernalia that can be found. However, the combinations of black and red as well as green and yellow are often used.

Now that the deer are back the Beast kills two more deer and stores them until the park's inhabitants have let their guard down. The Warden lays traps for the Beast, but it does not go near them and the Warden eventually decides to remove them. The Beast then goes on a rampage in Farthing Wood territory, killing several of the smaller creatures and nearly killing Leveret, but he escapes and his mate is killed instead. Adder meets the female adder again and she tells him that she would like to be known as Sinuous.

Bully finally decides to launch his attack on the Farthing Wood animals and the huge colony of rats swarm into their corner of the reserve. Mossy is spotted and killed by Bully's lieutenant, Spike, before Holly notices the attack and alerts Tawny Owl. Soon the battle rages, but the Farthing Wood animals are overrun by the rats so Leveret and Dash head off to alert all the other animals in the reserve, who arrive to join the fight. With the other animals' help the rats are finally forced to retreat and Adder avenges the death of Sinuous by killing Spike.

Thomas Bellot became a pupil at the Manchester Grammar School in 1816, after which he became a pupil of Joseph Jordan, a well-known practitioner in his native city. On 16 February 1828 he was admitted a member of the Royal College of Surgeons, and in 1831 entered upon the active service as a naval surgeon, in which he passed the greater part of his life. His first appointment was on the Harrier, where he joined in several boat attacks on the pirates infesting the straits of Malacca. In 1835 he joined the Leveret, and served in the prevention of the African slave trade until 1839.

The trio formed in 2014 and have been described by The Guardian as "magical", and Cutting as a "melodeon and accordion virtuoso". In 2018 The Arts Desk named Leveret's album, Inventions one of their top 3 albums of the year, describing them as creating "strikingly new English instrumental music." Cutting also performs and records with guitarist Martin Simpson and fiddle player Nancy Kerr. Their debut CD Murmurs was well received with The Telegraph naming it one of the best folk albums of 2015, describing them as "three of Britain’s finest musicians and interpreters of songs and tunes, each an acknowledged virtuoso in their own right".
