It turns out there are millions of breastfeeding videos on YouTube, some by qualified doctors or international board-certified lactation consultants, and others by random people willing to vlog about their own struggles and share in your pain.
That oxytocin should have so many health benefits is not so surprising when we recall its central role in stimulating uterine contractions during birth, the letdown of milk during lactation, the pleasure associated with orgasm and pair bonding.

These challenges, present for most women, are felt most acutely among low-income women who don't have access to lactation consultants, lengthy or flexible maternity leaves, nursing and pumping rooms at work, and partners who understand the benefits of breastfeeding.
When that woman does become pregnant, she has increasing odds of delivering her baby at a baby-friendly designated hospital, one that supports rooming in, provides access to a lactation consultant, and does not give formula without the mother's specific request.
Details of exam unclear CNN requested details of the exact day the ICE nurse saw Domingo-Garcia and how the lactation exam was conducted, but Cox did not immediately provide the information, saying only the exam was conducted this week.

More recently, researchers at Northwestern University reviewed ten studies on the topic (four human, six animal) and found zero proof that consuming one's placenta has any positive effects on depression, lactation, maternal bonding, or pain relief (all claims made by placenta-eating proponents).
