Mount Handsley () is a subsidiary rock peak on the Knobhead massif in Victoria Land, Antarctica. It rises south-southeast of Knobhead and overlooks the upper part of Ferrar Glacier from the northwest. It was named in 1969 by the New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee after Jesse Handsley, a member of the Discovery crew of Captain Robert Falcon Scott's expedition, who accompanied Scott, Evans, Feather, Skelton and Lashly on the major sledging journey up the Ferrar and Taylor Glaciers in 1903.

Gusty Gully () is a small north-south valley, the upper portion of which is occupied by a glacier, between Mount Kuipers and Knobhead in the Quartermain Mountains of Victoria Land, Antarctica. It was so named by Alan Sherwood, New Zealand Geological Survey party leader to the area, 1987–88, from the strong winds observed here, similar to Windy Gully located to the west.

The Quartermain Mountains are a group of exposed mountains in Antarctica, about long, typical of ice-free features of the McMurdo Dry Valleys, Victoria Land, located south of Taylor Glacier and bounded by Finger Mountain, Mount Handsley, Mount Feather and Tabular Mountain; also including Knobhead, Terra Cotta Mountain, New Mountain, Beacon Heights, Pyramid Mountain, Arena Valley, Kennar Valley, Turnabout Valley and the several valleys and ridges within Beacon Valley.

Ferrar Glacier is a glacier in Antarctica. It is about long, flowing from the plateau of Victoria Land west of the Royal Society Range to New Harbour in McMurdo Sound. The glacier makes a right (east) turn northeast of Knobhead, where it also feeds the upper end of the Taylor Glacier, which flows on the other (northern) side of the Kukri Hills from the Ferrar Glacier, which continues east along the south side of the Kukri Hills to New Harbour. It was discovered by the British National Antarctic Expedition, (1901–04) under Captain Robert Falcon Scott, who named this feature for Hartley T. Ferrar, geologist of the expedition.

On 21 December 2011, he was charged with using racist language by the Crown Prosecution Service. On 3 February 2012, the Football Association stripped Terry of his England captaincy for the second time, stating that Terry would not captain the national team until the racial abuse allegations against him were resolved. When the trial began in July 2012, Terry entered a not guilty plea and was acquitted of the charge on 13 July 2012. The court established that neither Ferdinand nor anyone else had heard Terry's words, but Terry himself admitted that he had directed the words "fucking black cunt" and "fucking knobhead" at Ferdinand, which was affirmed by two expert lip readers from video evidence.
