Seeing Maeve's daughter scared of William, Akecheta realizes she has memories of her past narratives, and tells her his own story to reassure her. Akecheta had started as a peaceful host with his partner Kohana. Witnessing the aftermath of Wyatt's massacre of the hosts under Arnold's orders, Akecheta finds the symbol of the maze and starts down the path of sentience.

Bailey moves to Erinsborough with his family and he befriends Rani Kapoor and Callum Jones. Callum warns Bailey away from Rani, as he does not want to compete for her affections. After someone breaks into Number 32, Bailey hides a large sum of money in a garden gnome and keeps guard with a cricket bat through the night. When his brother, Mason, arrives, Bailey tells him that he believes Robbo Slade (Aaron Jakubenko) was behind the break-in.

According to Hesiod, Echidna was born in a cave and apparently she lived alone (in that same cave, or perhaps another), as Hesiod describes it, "beneath the secret parts of the holy earth ... deep down under a hollow rock far from the deathless gods and mortal men", a place appointed by the gods, where she "keeps guard in Arima".Hesiod, Theogony 295-305; Gantz, p. 22; Ogden 2013a, p. 161. (Though Hesiod here may possibly be referring to Echidna's mother Ceto's home cave instead).

John keeps guard in front of the door of the interview room while Bill takes Alma to his office telling her he will collect her personally once he has dealt with the emergency which caused him to interrupt the interview in Scene Two. Scene Four: Alma manages to enter the interview room without being detected by John. She is eager to resume her conversation with Leka but is shocked by his unexpected rudeness. Leka tells Alma that, in his view, she is a refugee and a cheat like every other Albanian in the UK. Alma resents being called a refugee saying that she is a researcher and that she has worked very hard to build her career.

The Sanctuary of Hercules is an oil on wood painting executed in 1884 by the Swiss symbolist painter Arnold Böcklin which is in the collection of the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. The work depicts three soldiers kneeling on the steps of a shrine to the Greek hero Hercules (Greek: Heracles) whilst a fourth soldier keeps guard. Sunlight shining through an approaching storm illuminates the group and the circular stonework of the shrine, within which is a sacred grove and a statue of the great hero and protector. The central feature of the painting is the dressed stone wall, trimmed with polished marble, which has a much admired luminescent quality. The work is one of a series of depictions of holy and mysterious mythological sites imagined by the artist.
