The Castaways' Club was founded in 1895 'for the purpose of promoting social intercourse between gentlemen who had resigned their commissions as Executive Officers of Her Majesty’s Navy and who were desirous of keeping in touch with their former Service'.Castaways' Club Members and Rules book 2012 The Club has a considerable collection of mess silver which has been donated by guests and members since the Club was founded. This includes a silver cup presented to the club in 1908 by George V who was a frequent guest when Prince of Wales.

The 20th edition of the festival took place from 8 to 14 November 2017 in Hyderabad. The festival had four competition sections: International Live Action, Asian Panorama, International Animation and Little Directors, where international and national films compete for the prestigious Golden Elephant Trophies and cash awards. The festival also screened non-competition sections including Children's World that showcased films from across the world. Keeping in touch with American sociologists, Znaniecki lectured as a visiting professor at Columbia University in New York in 1932–34 and during the summer of 1939. That summer ended the Polish stage of his career, as the German invasion of Poland and the start of World War II prevented his return to Poland. Unlike some countries, the growth of men's netball is hampered by cultural bias against it; when parents see their boys playing it, they actively discourage them from continuing. Despite this, the Cook Islands also has a men's national team that has competed in the 2006, 2009 and 2011 International Challenge Men's and Mixed Netball Tournament. The popularity of netball is growing amongst men on the island, as sport is an important way of villages keeping in touch with each other. At the Easter sports day, organised by the Christian Youth Organization, traditional roles are exchanged and boys play netball while girls play rugby.

By doing so, they also help promote multiculturalism in Korea through various cultural movements. They were gathered with few international students in Korea from 2006 to 2010 without an activity name, and then decided a name and logo and began interHeart activity in earnest from 2011. They are keeping in touch with about 10 university's international students, and some friends who back to their hometown, such as Malaysia, Cambodia, Hong Kong, United States, Vietnam, China, Japan, Mongolia, etc.

In this instant, its main villain, a powerful mutant named Mortus, escapes the comic book's pages, desiring to kill Sketch so he can become flesh and blood and take over the real world. Inside the comic book, Sketch meets General Alissa Cyan, who believes he is "the chosen one" who came to save their post-apocalyptic world from the evil of Mortus and the alien invaders. Eventually, Reiko has to see Kaoru die at a street while dreaming of Reiko.

In the start of his career as a producer for the World Class Wreckin Cru with DJ Alonzo Williams in the mid-1980s, his beats were in the electro-hop style pioneered by The Unknown DJ, and that of early hip-hop groups like the Beastie Boys and Whodini. These influences are evident in Eazy-E's 1986 song "Boyz-n-the-Hood", which Dre produced. Sampling was at the time a key element of Dre's production, the E-mu SP-1200 being his primary instrument in the N.W.A days.

Moss developed an interest in botany in 1893 when, recovering from a pulmonary abscess, he was advised to go on long outdoor rambles. These took place over the Halifax moors, sometimes in the company of botanists belonging to the Halifax Scientific Society, a society in which he soon became a prominent member. In an article that appeared in the New Britain Herald on December 20, 1967, it was reported that Mr. Frank Merkle, retiring after 50 years of service, was presented with a color television from the company and a purse of money from the employees at the company's annual Christmas party. A picture accompanying the article shows Mr. Merkle with five other longtime employees totaling 193 years of service with the company.Article in the New Britain Herald, dated December 20, 1967, entitled “Merkle Retires After 50 Years At Cleaning Firm” Another way of keeping in touch with employees was a monthly newsletter which was published by the company and distributed to all workers. The term, an abbreviation for "no-mobile-phone phobia," was coined during a 2008 study by the UK Post Office who commissioned YouGov, a UK-based research organization, to evaluate anxieties suffered by mobile phone users. The study found that nearly 53% of mobile phone users in Britain tend to be anxious when they "lose their mobile phone, run out of battery or credit, or have no network coverage". The study, sampled 2,163 people, found that about 58% of men and 47% of women suffer from the phobia, and an additional 9% feel stressed when their mobile phones are off. 55% of those surveyed cited keeping in touch with friends or family as the main reason that they got anxious when they could not use their mobile phones.

While keeping in touch with his fanbase and caring for his sick cat, Iggy, Walter began working on material over the next few years, preparing to release another album. After a relationship of his came to a rough conclusion, he was picked up by Universal, and wrote several new songs for his next album, citing his personal life, as well as politics, as his main inspirations. Teaming up with Bryan Head once more and bringing in guitarist Sean Woolstenhulme, Walter started work in 2004 to record his next album. In June 2005 they released an EP, consisting of a few songs from the new album along with b-sides and demos, called The Reverb EP. This was followed by the full album, Armed to the Teeth, in September 2005 In January 2006, Walter wrote in his online journal that Universal Records had stopped promoting the album.

The team kit itself is keeping in touch with Texan roots with its team colors, taken directly from the sky blue found on two of the earliest Texas flags of independence: The "Scott's Flag of the Liberal Faction" and the "Goliad Flag". One of the founding fathers of Texas, Captain William Scott of Kentucky, raised a company of men under this banner to fight for the independence of Texas from the Centralista dictatorship of Mexico. Those men marched to Gonzales to join Austin's Texian Federal Army, where the sky blue flag would later be flown at the battles of Goliad, the Battle of Bexar, and to San Felipe where the Goliad Declaration was delivered. The sky blue on the team's jersey is also reminiscent of the "Goliad Flag" made by founding mother Johanna Troutman of Knoxville, Georgia. “Texas and Liberty” was inscribed on one side and a Latin inscription “Ubi, libertas habitat, ibi nostra patria est” (“Where liberty dwells, there is my country”) was also inscribed on the other.
