The Jaromarsburg at Arkona is the only rampart for which we have detailed contemporaneous accounts. The castle was investigated by archaeologists multiple times due to the erosion constantly occurring around the castle. A cross was erected on the supposed spot where Northumberland fell, the base of which was removed to the entrance of a wood lying close to Toulston Lane. In 2008 a memorial stone and an information board were erected on Paradise Way, Bramham, by Bramham Parish Council and formally opened by the 12th Duke of Northumberland, to commemorate the 600th anniversary. DESA INFORMASI TELEVISION (DIVO) is the official student media in the PCU campus. It is an online augmented reality media platform founded and maintained by the students of the Faculty of Arts and Design and Faculty of Communication. The online information board is open to the existing student population and provides coverage of both on and off campus events. Various DIVO screens are spread at strategic points within the PCU campus area.
The Town Flag of Pewsey. The horse has gradually become slightly larger over time. The figure is fenced in to prevent damage from grazing animals, making this one of four Wiltshire White Horses to be fenced in, alongside Alton Barnes White Horse, Cherhill White Horse and Marlborough White Horse. In either late 1999 or early 2000, an information board was placed above the horse (backed to the fence) giving information on the eight white horses.
Today a furniture factory stands on the site. At the southern edge of the Deister Gate is an old quarry on the side of the Raher Berg. In the lower part of the quarry stands a club house, above it the quarry climbs like a romantic valley up the hillside. Nearby is a forest track through the woods which cuts through the Bückethaler Landwehr, which is described here on an information board.
The nearest villages are Rödinghausen, three kilometres to the southeast, and Büscherheide which is much nearer being only 1.5 kilometres to the north. Dinosauria Park (, O Kosmos ton Dinosauron) is a dinosaur park located near the town of Gournes in Crete, Greece, east of the city of Heraklion. The park features some fossil replicas and several animatronic dinosaur models. Dinosaur models are displayed along an approximately long walk, each accompanied by an information board. The Dinosauria Park started as an idea in 2013 and was first housed in Gournes Δekk, located in the former American base.

Champion Trees of Britain & Ireland, Kew Publishing, Kew, London. . was misidentified as a 'Klemmer' elm; an information board erected in front of the tree by Lewisham Council, still (2018) bears the erroneous name, and depicts another tree (one of the Morton 'Klemmer').

There are no relief sculptures or engraved decoration on either pillars.
Information board. Gold Creek Dam is reached by traveling to the end of Gold Creek Road, off Brookfield Road in Brookfield. Brisbane Transport route 435 travels hourly during weekdays from the Indooroopilly Interchange to the Resthaven aged care home at 124 Gold Creek Road, approximately from the Dam. From here to the Dam, Gold Creek Road criss-crosses Gold Creek; it is winding and somewhat narrow but generally flat and suitable for cycling or walking.
Cholesbury Camp is a large and well-preserved Iron Age hill fort on the northern edge of the village of Cholesbury in Buckinghamshire, England. It is roughly oval-shaped and covers an area, including ramparts, of , and measures approximately north-east to south-west by north-west to south-east. The interior is a fairly level plateau which has been in agricultural use since the medieval period."Cholesbury Camp", information board at location.
In the exhibition room "Eifel Volcanism" the visitor can even simulate a volcanic eruption using a model of a cinder cone. Other models show the entire region of the volcanic West Eifel and the formation of volcano types in Eifel region. The models are supplemented in turn by numerous exhibits from the Volcanic Eifel. In the Volcanic Eifel Geo Centre all the geologically-related facilities of the Volcanic Eifel are summarized on an information board.
In 2014 only 2 hangars remained, but the control tower was demolished. The domestic site has been developed as the new village of Witham St Hughs with only the former Officer's Married Quarters and Airmen's Married Quarters remaining. The new village hall has an information board giving the history of RAF Swinderby. On 10 May 2014 a memorial was dedicated to all those Servicemen and Servicewomen who served at RAF Swinderby from 1940 to 1993.
Some oral evidence attributes the building's design to Laver and Schular. Jack Driscoll, the well-regarded local historian advised that the builder of the hall was Charles Bundock. This is also noted on the information board within the Industrial Hall. Builders W. & C. (Charles P.) Bundock were responsible for the construction of many fine buildings in Narrandera including St John's United Church in 1907 (with its copper sheathed spire) and The Star Hotel in 1916.

Lancaster bus station serves the city of Lancaster, Lancashire, England. The bus station was funded by both the Lancashire County Council and Lancaster City Council. The station, situated in the centre of the city, was re-built and opened in 2001, is staffed full-time, completely covered and consists of 20 stands, a travel centre, a refreshment kiosk, on site toilet facilities and an electronic passenger information board. Directly outside the bus station is Lancaster's main taxi rank.
It was surrounded by four inscribed sandstone pillars tied together by iron rails but due to the growth of the tree these burst and the stones fell. They were recovered and in 2007 were replaced in a more accessible place with an information board. In 2019 a blue plaque was installed by Conservation Areas Wirral on the remaining structure of his Canada Works building in Beaufort Road, now part of the Wirral Waters area in Birkenhead.
After standing unused for 40 years the furnace was restored in 1992/93 with financial assistance from the HSBC (then Midland) Bank. The furnace stands on land owned by the HSBC on the periphery of a car park for their offices on Hoyle Street. The station is unstaffed and has a single platform with waiting shelter, CIS display, customer help point, timetable information board and self-service ticket machine next to the main entrance. The latter can be used for collecting pre-paid tickets as well as for purchasing tickets prior to travel. Canada Carries On (French: En avant Canada) was a series of short films by the National Film Board of Canada which ran from 1940 to 1959. The series was initially created as morale-boosting propaganda films during the Second World War. With the end of the war, the series lost its financial backing from the Wartime Information Board, but continued as an NFB series of theatrical shorts that included newsreels as well as animated shorts.Morris, Peter.
There is a village hall in Chapel Lawn for the local rural community, called the Redlake Valley Village Hall. It was built in 1952.Redlake Valley Village Hall Many public footpaths cross the Redlake Valley enabling walkers to see the features above, and an information board at the village hall car park, next to the church, displays a map together with local information. Walkers are free to leave their cars at this car park whilst enjoying the local sights.
Durban Botanic Gardens Information Board The grounds currently host various social gatherings such as local music bands and ' Victorian tea parties', as well as an indigenous plant fair in spring (September) each year. On the Namibian side of the border are farms, and since 1966, a straight fence has spanned the border. The name of the point dates to the Union of South Africa. 10 Firwood Fold is a 16th-century house in Bolton, Greater Manchester (). It is a Grade I listed building and the birthplace of Samuel Crompton in 1753. In 1994, Estonia joined NATO's Partnership for Peace program, which was the first step towards joining the organization. Estonia joined NATO on March 29, 2004, and the European Union on May 1, 2004. In 2001, the Estonian Information Board, which was later renamed the Estonian Foreign Intelligence Service, was subordinated to the Ministry of Defence. A new subordinate agency under the domain of the Ministry of Defence, called the Defence Resources Agency, was created in 2005.

Because quarrying was carried out near the plateau, the rock was presumably only covered by a thin layer of earth. Quarrying was undertaken using several working parties, so- called Arbeitsköpfe. Individual Arbeitsköpfe were 25 metres above the next level below.
Information board about the Großer Zschand The Großer Zschand between Neumannmühle and Zeughaus Border with Czech Republic on the Großer Zschand Zeughaus The Großer Zschand is the longest dry valley in Saxon Switzerland and runs for about 6 km from the Neumann Mill in the Kirnitzsch valley to the Roßmaulwiese meadown in Bohemian Switzerland. The Großer Zschand has no permanent watercourse; during times of snowmelt or after heavy rain, individual, locally limited watercourses and small marshy areas are formed.
The castle has provided a good deal of building material for the surrounding houses and the remains are mostly single and double storey walls, with the barrel-vaulted kitchen cellars intact. No upper storey rooms are intact. There is an early engraving visible on an information board at Narberth railway station (and possible elsewhere in the town) which shows now-vanished tall chimneys of a Flemish style that can still be seen at the well-preserved Manorbier Castle.
The remains of the walls of the old castle have only survived in the area of the outer neck ditch where they have been made as dry stone walls. The western porch of the church was built in the 19th century and the side altar, is of late Renaissance period around 1630, originally in the Franciscan church from Dobrzyń on the Vistula. The lintel at the sacristy has a foundation inscription "IR MK PP", probably referring to Mateusz Krzemiński, and 1740. On the rood beam there is a late-Gothic sculpture of Crucified Christ from the first half of the 16th century.

Today the only building left is one used by the forestry commission. At the information board on the circular path, a waymarked path branches off and runs for about 500 metres southwards following the contours to the burgstall on the left of the path. From Neuhaus the nearby ruins of Wurzstein Castle can also be visited on a direct route over the so- called Rosssteig path. In addition there is another path to the abandoned hamlet of Sonnengrün.
Cadw information board at the site Excavations in 1865 found structures within the enclosure, rectangular buildings on the east and a circular one on the south. Nothing of these can now be seen on the ground. Pottery from the 2nd century to the 4th century was found, and on the north side a layer of periwinkle shells and a mediaeval coin, under a layer of peat. There is a parking area, sufficient for 4-5 cars, by the roadside.
There is a car park and information board with all the history. Current members of the Clan MacThomas from across the world gather here regularly. The Glenshee Ski Centre sits at the head of the Cairnwell Pass and is Scotland's biggest, with 21 lifts spread over four mountains and three glens and associated hire shops, cafes etc. Informal skiing started there in the 1930s, with the first tow being set up by the Dundee Ski Club in 1947.
This bridge remains to the day and still carries traffic over the Severn. The section of Barker Street which is on the bridge end has been called Bridge Street since the building of the new bridge. In 2004, the council installed an information board about the history of the bridge and Mardol, at the bottom of Mardol on the approach to the site of the bridge. Only one dry arch of the old St George's Bridge now remains, on the Frankwell side.
The school building doubled as the public hall, and still stands about west of the information board. During the later part of the 19th century the area was part of the Victorian gold rushes. Significant finds were made at Stirling, northwest, with a smaller alluvial field at Shady Creek, west. In the early 1880s noted geologist and naturalist Alfred William Howitt mapped the area, with his paper, The Rocks of Noyang, being read to the Royal Society of Victoria in 1883.

Blausteinsee, with the Weisweiler power station behind Information board The Blausteinsee Leisure and Recreation Area is an artificial lake north of the Eschweiler municipality in the Aachen district of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Its area is around 100 hectares and depth is 46m. It was created during the regeneration of the Zukunft opencast coal mine in the Rhineland coalfield, made by flooding the pit left by the mine with water. Today, the lake is a holiday area for the surrounding towns.
View from NE Today the remnants of Codnor Castle are a fragile ruin; its few remaining high walls are well visited. The site is now privately owned. Public access is managed by The Codnor Castle Heritage Trust; access can be arranged by contacting the Trust. There are public footpaths to the Castle from Codnor Market Place, where there is an information board in partnership with Derbyshire County Council, as well as public footpaths from the east in the Erewash valley.

Hoffmann was the namesake of the Oswald Hoffmann School of Christian Outreach (OHSCO) at Concordia University, St. Paul. Llawhaden Castle ruins The building fell into decline under the control of Bishop William Barlow, the first Bishop appointed after Henry's Laws in Wales Acts had abolished Marcher Lordships. Barlow was an ardent Church Reformist, whose appointment had been encouraged by Thomas Cranmer, and who was significantly unenamoured with St. Davids and its traditions.

Arthur Edward Blanchette (March 23, 1921 - August 30, 2003) was a Canadian diplomat. Born in Hartford, Connecticut, he graduated from the University of Montreal in 1940 and took his PhD in 1945 in Ottawa where he entered in the Latin-American section of the Wartime information board. In 1969 he was at the Direction between francophone countries. He was Chargé d'Affaires to Egypt then Acting High Commissioner to South Africa followed by Acting Commissioner at the ICSC for Cambodia, then Chargé d'Affaires a.i.
Partial view of the Kriemhildenstuhl The Kriemhildenstuhl, more rarely Krimhildenstuhl (short i), in the forests around the Palatine county town of Bad Dürkheim in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate, is an old Roman quarry, which was worked by the 22nd Legion of the Roman Army, who were stationed in Mogontiacum (Mainz) around 200 A. D. The site has been designated as an area monument (Denkmalzone)Bad Dürkheim: Information board at the Quarry (Infotafel am Steinbruch). and is owned by the Drachenfels Club.
The subsequent popularity of this area, with increased leisure incidents and accidents, led to the decision to construct a station on the present site.Poppit Sands Information Board In 1987 a new boathouse, built for the new C class lifeboat, was officially opened. Then in 1998 a new double boathouse was completed for a B class and D class lifeboats, for launching vehicles, and it also provided improved crew facilities. Consequently, the station today houses two inshore lifeboats, which operate from the beach.
Burggraf information board The fortification of Burggraf (), also called the Burggrafenstein or Furchste, is a levelled prehistorical or early medieval sector fortification on a hill spur between Untertrubach and Dörnhof near Gräfenberg in the county of Forchheim in the south German state of Bavaria. The fortification was recorded in 1417 as a burgstall. It consisted of ramparts and an entrance passage at the southwest corner and probably a second on the southeast side. Only the remains of two sector ramparts have survived.
The cannonball embedded in the wall of Bergen Cathedral The Bergen Cathedral still has a cannonball from the battle imbedded in the wall of its tower . In 2015, a plaquette was unveiled on a wall of the cathedral; an information board (infoplate) was unveiled "near Kongestatuen at Bergen[s]hus Fortress". Bergen Maritime Museum has on display part of the decoration on the English vessels. Two wooden figures, depict the head of a lion and the head of a unicorn.

Information board about the barrier at Cape Peron, site of the former Peron Battery During World War II, Parmelia Bank was the location of the anti- submarine boom net protecting the northern access to Cockburn Sound. From Woodman Point, the barrier ran west on top of the bank, stretching to Carnac Island. A dredged channel, the location of a gate in the barrier, let through the sandbank into Cockburn Sound. From this channel, the barrier ran south- west to Garden Island.
Healy-Rae was elected for the Kerry South constituency at the 2011 general election, when his father Jackie retired from national politics. He, like fellow Independents Michael Lowry and Noel Grealish, were not members of the Technical group in the 31st Dáil. He missed two-thirds of votes in his first Dáil term, despite being signed in for his expenses on each day a vote was taken. Healy-Rae was appointed to the board of the Citizens' Information Board in April 2009.
The flood water flowed over the high cemetery wall and submerged the graves in the cemetery. The water stopped at the highest point of the area, on the threshold of the church and just in front of the lime tree's main trunk. In 2003, the new sign and a new information board were placed next to the old natural monument with the owl. In recent times too there have been regular reports about the lime tree in both newspapers and books.

Although the national parks contain some of New Zealand's most beautiful scenery, the first few established were all focused on mountain scenery. Since the 1980s the focus has been on developing a more diverse representation of New Zealand landscapes. The parks are all culturally significant and many also contain historic features.

The museum consists of a small church and several historical buildings which were reassembled in a rural environment. The building were re-located from Minnesota and North Dakota from locations characterized by Norwegian American immigration during the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century.
Information board of the educational trail The goal of the protection plan is to secure the important geological profile and preserve it for future study. Klonk is mainly threatened by amateur palaeontologists who expect a rich locality, however the location is important mainly due to microfossils. Another threat is the overgrowing of vegetation, which has been successfully removed mechanically and by herbicides in the past. The removal of unwanted vegetation should also help the return of the original vegetation, which used to be strongly influenced by pasture.

Though the Lighthouse survived the destruction of the Second World War, it was finally closed and dismantled on December 1958, when new tall buildings were making it invisible from the sea. It was replaced by a new signal light using electricity that was erected on top of the Fullerton Building.
Information board map Ashtead Common has been part of the Epsom and Ashtead Commons Site of Special Scientific Interest since 1955 because of its community of breeding birds. It has also been a National Nature Reserve since 1995 because of the wood of decaying ancient trees and the rare invertebrates that live in it. It contains a wooded common with over 2300 pollarded oaksEnglish Nature which are between 300 and 400 years old. These provide a habitat for many rare and endangered deadwood species.
Access to the Lynn Headwaters Park can be done by walking or driving to the end of Lynn Valley Road. Within the parking lot of the park, there is an information board that displays trail conditions as well as a map and descriptions of all the trails in the park. The area is accessible by car via BC Highway 1 and Lynn Valley Road; the site includes parking lots. Public transit does not stop near the park entrance, but does facilitate on-foot access.

Not all the stonework in the entrance is original; much of the access was reinforced and restored over time. Within the castle precinct are the remnants of a cistern. Construction of the Trans-Mongolian line began in 1947, reaching Ulan Bator from the north in 1950 and the Chinese border in 1955. Before that the only railways in Mongolia had been a line (opened in 1938) connecting the coal mines at Nalaikh to the capital and a Soviet-built freight-only branch (completed in 1939) from Borzya on the Trans-Siberian Railway to Bayantümen, Dornod near Choibalsan in north-eastern Mongolia.
' ("'Font Santa's Well", also known as ' or 'Information Board, Ajuntament de Campos) is an historic building, housing a rainwater storage well, in the municipality of Campos, Majorca. It was built in 1671–1673, during the restoration of the adjacent Church of , by remodelling the bathing room of a house known as . It used a double filter system and delivered water to external and internal wash basins, as well a drinking troughs for animals. It had a capacity of and was in use until the late nineteenth century.

Hanging Bank Information Board A part of the forest near to Ide Hill is known as Hanging Bank. On 28 January 1554, during Wyatt's rebellion against Queen Mary, a rebel force of about 500 men led by Henry Isley clashed with a similar-sized loyal force led by Lord Abergavenny and Sir Robert Southwell, at Wrotham Hill. After a running battle over about , the rebels made their last stand at Hartley Wood, where they were defeated. A gallows was set up in the wood and many people were hanged.
Saltburn railway station serves the town of Saltburn-by-the-Sea in the borough of Redcar and Cleveland and the ceremonial county of North Yorkshire, England. It is the terminus of the Tees Valley Line and is operated by Northern Trains who provide all passenger train services. It is unmanned, and has two acrylic glass passenger shelters, bench seating and an electronic information board. A self-service ticket machine has also been installed to allow intending passenger to buy tickets prior to travel or collect pre-paid tickets.
Mount Jerai from the Ferry between Penang and Langkawi Mount Jerai (), formerly Kedah Peak, is a mountain in Kedah, Malaysia with the height of . Within Kedah itself, the mountain stands at the border of Kuala Muda and Yan districts. The mountain is a massive limestone outcrop and is a lone feature from the surrounding geography of the area. There is an information board on top of the mountain stating that it used to be an island called Pulai Serai before the sea levels receded letting it form a mountain.
Dinosaur Land on the German island of Rügen () was opened by Rüdiger Kunkel on 30 April 2008 on land that had belonged to the East German National People's Army (NVA). The site covers an area of 9.5 hectares in the municipality of Glowe and is not far from the villages of Spycker and Bobbin on Lake Spycker. The focus of the park is its display of dinosaur models, each with an information board. In addition there are models of prehistoric fish, marine mammals and the odd turtles, hominids, mammoths and sabre-toothed tigers.
As an indication of the Scottish background of many of the early settlers in the region, the hotel was renamed the Sir Walter Scott Hotel in the late 1860s. In 1890 a new hotel was built on the western side of the river beside the newly aligned road between Bruthen and Ensay, but kept the "Sir Walter Scott" name. The hotel burnt down on 8 September 1961 and was not rebuilt. The current information board is on the site of the former hotel, with the Great Alpine Road also passing over part of the site.

The Capela do Corpo Santo or Chapel of Corpo Santo is a 15th century chapel at the end of the old village of Funchal (Rua D. Carlos I 64, 9060-051 Funchal, Portugal). It has a gabled façade and the Gothic doorway is all that remains of the original chapel.
The trail continues west along this track with sea views to the left before descending steadily to exit at a picnic area onto Lynch Lane. Turning right, then left will lead through the National Trust Jubilee Car Park and onto the National Trust information board. After passing the Forestry Commission Brighstone Forest entrance, the trail follows the down following the ancient road to the summit. After leaving National Trust land through a gate and continuing ahead on level ground, the path will immediately pass ancient burial mounds on the right.
Information board on Dicke Tannen Dicke Tannen is a protected landscape, around in area, near the Harz village of Hohegeiß, which lies in the borough of Braunlage. It is the site of the mightiest spruce trees in North Germany; the individual trees reaching heights of 50 metres and trunk diameters of 100 to 180 centimetres. The landscape has been specially protected since 1989 as a natural monument. The trees, which are up to 350 years old and known colloquially as Rottannen ("Red Firs") were first mentioned in the 18th century in forestry documents.

In recent times it has been made safe and accessible by renovation. The site is entered through the gatehouse (17th/18th century) of the outer ward (Vorburg), which is being used again as a residence. This outer bailey probably goes back to the 13th century and guarded the entrance to the Romanesque castle.
The 1895 double-pier Gröbenufer (today the May-Ayim-Riverside) as well as the catacombs connected to it were both refurbished and renovated as historical monuments between January 2007 and December 2009. A culinary or cultural use such as an exhibition-space is planned after the completion of the renovation work. Landings for water-taxis and ferries are planned for the publicly accessible piers. Also, the significance of the Quay Landing as a memorial site for victims of the Berlin Wall will be highlighted with an information board.

Behrens, historian and building archaeologist, who conducted the most recent research, we now have a reconstructed picture of the whole site thanks to archaeological and geo-electric surveys. There is an information board at the site which shows that the lodge was extensive yet defensible; it had a chapel, two round towers, a great hall, a second assembly hall, other residential buildings, gatehouse and stone walls on two sides.

"Information board at Millsands", History of Millsands. The original plans for the walk called for a footbridge to link Kelham Island back to the south bank of the river at the Brooklyn Works. This was to be a one tenth replica of the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City to commemorate the strong industrial links between Sheffield and Brooklyn in the 19th century. In Sweden during this time, the press fell under the control of several authorities, despite contemporary claims that the Swedish press was free. The Swedish Government Information Board determined what military information could be released and what information should remain secret. The Swedish Press Council served as a self-regulatory body, promoting "good relations between the press and the public authorities and to serve as an instrument of self- discipline for the press." The canal was a financial failure and lasted only 27 years, being sold to the London and Croydon Railway Company for £40,250. London and Croydon Railway would use much of the former canal for the new railway line, with remnants in Betts Park in Anerley and in Dacres Wood, Sydenham. The railway deviated from the canal course entering a new cutting near what is now Anerley railway station (opened on 5 June 1839 and named initially as Annerley Bridge Station).

The house was built in 1767 by the architect, Sigmund Jacob Haeckher, and called Maison de la Campagne ("Country House"). Its owner was Franz Karl Freiherr von Hacke and his wife, Amönia Freiin von Sturmfeder. He was the master hunter (Obristjägermeister) of Electoral Palatine, responsible for hunting in the 55 km² Barony of Wilenstein. Thornborough Bridge is located on the original Bletchley and Buckingham road, now bypassed by a modern bridge in 1974 for the A421. The bridge is accessible to walkers from an adjacent lay-by. The bridge straddles the parish boundaries of Thornborough and Buckingham (the parish boundary follows the line of Padbury Brook or The Twins, a tributary of the River Great Ouse), and dates from the end of the 14th centuryAVDC information board on-site "dates to 1400" and is the only surviving mediaeval bridge in Buckinghamshire. The parish division is marked by a boundary stone in the middle of the bridge.
Information board by Archaeological Suvery of India at Mudhai temple The temple is located on an artificial mound and is now partly ruined. It was built around 1150–1200 AD. The temple faces east and is in stellate plan consisting of a garbhagriha, ardhamandapa, mandapa and pottico leading to the Mandapa. The structure is supported with 24 pillars. The temple is not fully preserved, its parts like pitha, Vedibandha and jangha are well preserved while shikhara is missing and in place of that roof has covered with stone slabs and concrete which is a latter addition done for its protection.
Main administrative building Information board on the cave system The Zbrašov aragonite caves are on the bank of the Bečva River at an altitude of above sea level. The caves are located across the Bečva River under the National Nature Reserve at Hůrka. It is part of large karst area that also includes the Hranická gap, which is the deepest hole in the Czech Republic. Much of the surface territory is from 16th century and included the spa complex, which was gradually modified into a semi-natural urban park whose technical facilities (rest areas, roads, rail) are currently in a neglected state.
When the site of Middlewood Hospital was redeveloped as Wadsley Park Village, the fossil tree stumps were saved from the bulldozer as they have a special preservation order to protect them (Site of Special Scientific Interest status). Following a scientific study project at the time of house construction they are now buried under open space adjacent to Middlewood Drive. With support from Natural England, Museums Sheffield, The Geologists' Association and Sheffield Area Geology Trust, a double-sided information board and a replica cast of one of the stumps was placed at the site in October 2018.

Five years later, following an emergency meeting on 11 September 1990 in Putbus, a Berlin master stonemason and restorer was contracted to remove both monuments. In late November 1991, the monuments were dismantled and their drums, capitals and statues transported to the master stonemason's workshop in Berlin-Pankow.

No. 231 of 1926) dated in the 12th year of Parantaka, states that Paluvettaraiyar Kandan Amudanar fought, on behalf of his Chola overlord, a victorious battle at Vellur against the forces of the Pandya king and his Ceylonese ally, in which the Pandya lost his life.
The boathouse was abandoned in 1932, and the all-weather lifeboat was withdrawn, leaving the nearest stations at Fishguard and New Quay. The subsequent popularity of this area, with increased leisure incidents and accidents, led to the decision to construct a new station on the present site; this opened in 1971.Poppit Sands Information Board In 1987 a new boathouse, built for the new C-class lifeboat, was officially opened. The line, which flanks from the Malscher Landgraben, lies between the Black Forest and the Rhine meadows south of where the city of Karlsruhe is today. Remains of the fortified line with their breastworks and a redoubt may still be seen southwest of Karlsruhe near a heath settlement, running for a distance of around 500 metres in the forest of Hardtwald. In the woods of Rheinstetten, an even longer section of the line is still visible. Since July 2010 the line in Karlsruhe has been marked by an information board; another one has been erected in Rheinstetten on Pirschweg.

Looking south towards the Dorset coast and English Channel from Pilsdon Pen Pilsdon Pen from the information board by the road to the south Pilsdon Pen is a 277-metre (909 ft) hill in Dorset in South West England, situated at the north end of the Marshwood Vale, approximately west of Beaminster. It is Dorset's second highest point and has panoramic views extending for many miles. It was bequeathed to the National Trust by the Pinney family in 1982. For many years it was thought to be Dorset's highest hill, until modern survey revealed that nearby Lewesdon Hill was 2 metres higher.

It was established to protect Maerl beds and to promote natural regeneration of all marine life. It covers an area of 2.67 km2 of sea and seabed from which no marine life can be removed by any method. This was achieved after over a decade of campaigning by the island community.

Those wishing to enter the fort have to approach what is in effect a sunken road and, if hostile, can be attacked from both side walls in a pincer fashion. Pincer gates were already being used in Urnfield and Celtic fortification in Central Europe and may also be seen in Early Medieval circular ramparts.

This comes to a response to the two parties requesting the board for an "interlocutory" review on the grounds that inventory of the records were not relevant to the state's open records laws. The administrative trial could begin as early as August 17th but could be delayed due to this recent vote. In 2016, Des Moines County Attorney Beavers was found by the Iowa Public Information Board to have violated the Open Records Law after giving conflicting statements of accounts. She agreed to settle with the board to pay a $200 fine in exchange in not having to admit guilt.

This fortress first appears in written sources in 1041. It was probably located elsewhere nearby; the later castle only appears to have been occupied in the 13th century.
The current structure, built of lime-washed stone and slate walling, was commissioned by the trustees of Greenwich Hospital in 1813. It was designed with a square tower on the north end with a round-arched doorway and a double flight of steps inside and with what the Keswick Tourist Information Board describes as an "unusual one-handed clock" at the top. The Marshall family acquired the building from the trustees of Greenwich Hospital in 1832. It became home to the Keswick Museum of Local and Natural History, a creation of the Keswick Literary and Scientific Society, in 1873.
The 'Leechery' is a small brick built and castellated structure, measuring by , which stands on the bank of the Bedale Beck. It was restored by the Bedale District Heritage Trust in 1985 and sits in a quarter of an acre of gardens known as the 'Bedale Renaissance Park'Medical Heritage - Yorkshire and Cleveland with an information board that explains its history and significance. Differences in opinion as to the exact number of stones within Castlerigg are usually down to whether the observer counts these small packing stones, or not; some count 38 and others, 42. The ‘official’ number of stones, as represented on the National Trust information board at the monument, is 40. In the early 20th century, a single outlying stone was erected by a farmer approximately 90m to the south west of Castlerigg. This stone has many linear ‘scars’ along its side from being repeatedly struck by a plough, suggesting that it was once buried below the surface and also why the farmer dug it up.
As the orbital route had been closed, the impetus to eventually complete the station was to improve public transport access to the expanding Liverpool John Lennon Airport, and also to provide new journey opportunities for rail passengers in south Liverpool by giving easy interchange between Northern Line, City Line and West Coast Main Line services. Construction began in 2004. Allerton station closed in July 2005 and the new station was built on its site. The concourse, bus station and car park were built on land that was once the home of South Liverpool F.C. Unfortunately, there is little visible trace of any of these sites today but it is possible to visit the site of Newbridge furnace, off Kidd's Hill, where there is an information board, and to see a number of identifiable features. The industry grew very rapidly in Ashdown Forest and elsewhere in the High Weald during the 16th century. The area became particularly noted for the casting of cannons for the British navy. The iron-master and gun founder Ralph Hogge, who in 1543 had cast the first iron cannon in England at Buxted, drew his raw materials from the southern part of the forest.
Washington Trust Field and Patterson Baseball Complex is a college baseball stadium on the campus of Gonzaga University on Spokane, Washington. Opened in 2007, it is the home venue of the Gonzaga Bulldogs of the West Coast Conference. Designed by architect ALSC Architects, Washington Trust Field and Patterson Baseball Complex has 1,300 fixed seats in the main seating bowl and a total capacity of 2,300. The complex includes field lighting, home and visitors locker rooms, baseball offices, laundry, training and equipment facilities, batting cages, a natural grass field, modern restrooms and concession stands for the convenience of the fans, and an electronic information board and a stone marker welcoming visitors.

The nineteenth-century folklorist Elias Owen recorded a tale about a "wicked Ghost" which haunted the rectory at Llandegla and was eventually exorcised by a man named Griffiths from Graianrhyd.
Sir James Melville and Christian Boswell had four children; by far the most famous is the poet Elizabeth Melville, Lady Culross, who named one of her own daughters Christian. Presumably, the mausoleum received Sir James’s body in 1617, and is now somewhat inaccurately described on the information board next to it simply as ‘the tomb of Sir James Melville of Halhill’. After the burials of 1609 and 1617, the Collessie mausoleum may have been used for further members of the family, but there are no extant records to prove this. The tomb’s builder was succeeded as laird of Halhill by his eldest son, also called James.

Current minor bridge crossing over the Tambo River at Tambo Crossing With the improved road and means of transportation, Tambo Crossing lost its importance as a stopping point along the highway, a problem exacerbated with the loss of the Sir Walter Scott Hotel in 1961. Additionally, improved technology led to bigger farms, and therefore fewer residents in the area. Tambo Crossing today therefore contains some prime agricultural land for livestock, however consists of only a few individual properties and a small number of residents. The centre of the settlement in present times contains the information board and a commemorative plaque on the site of the former hotel.

Who Was Doris Hedges? The Search for Canada's First Literary Agent (2020) Doris Hedges (1896-1972) was a Montreal author who started Canada’s first literary agency in 1946. She published several novels, short stories, and books of poetry; was influential in Montreal literary circles; did a stint as a radio broadcaster; and provided reports to the Wartime Information Board during World War II, possibly as an American spy. The book deals with all of Hedges’ works in a chronological fashion, mixing biographical commentary with literary analysis to produce a picture of a writer’s life and concerns during a period when Canada’s literature was coming of age.

Bumberrah Railway Station and siding was opened on Monday 10 April 1916 as part of the Orbost railway line. It was closed in 1977, with the last train passing the site in 1987. The former station grounds have been preserved, with a diversity of native flora on the site remaining as a result of it being protected from grazing stock during its time in service to the railways. A station name board exists at the site, along with a rest shelter and information board in a remnant grassy woodland reserve, as part of the East Gippsland Rail Trail, which follows the route of the former rail line.

The construction of buildings in the area around the complex was a strategy for ensuring the surroundings remained anonymous and unremarkable. The emergency exit point for the Führerbunker (which had been in the Chancellery gardens) was occupied by a car park. On October 20, 1941, just before 8 am, Hotz was shot dead in front of 1 King Albert Street 8 (information board), near the Cathedral of Nantes and the German military headquarters (Kommandantur), by three resistance fighters sent from Paris by the armed wing of the French Communist Party (PCF): Brustlein, Marcel Bourdarias and Spartaco Guisco, the mission of the three men being to shoot down a German officer, depending on the circumstances. Brustlein fired two shots and hit Hotz in the back. Guisco's revolver jammed, saving the life of Hotz's fellow officer, Captain Wilhelm Sieger. Hotz died a few moments later while the Resistance fled.
In 2012 an Empty Shop Project funded by Wirral Council allowed the Butterfly Park to move into the town centre for six months, with 6 artist residencies each encouraging community engagement. The shop was formally opened by Harriet Harman MP. The legacy of this project is that 2 more sculptures were added to the art trail, an interactive information board/artwork is in situ and a book has been published about it all. New Ferry Butterfly Park was awarded official Green Flag status for 2013/14. On Sunday 4 May 2014 the Lord Lieutenant of Merseyside, Dame Lorna Muirhead, officially raised the flag and opened the park for the summer season.

After the National Theatre Trust moved to the smaller Kallang Theatre in March 1986, demolition works took place between June to August 1986, just as the Kallang Theatre opened to its first performance in June of that year. From the pole the route began its drop down to Hathersage going due west for half a mile before swinging sharply north-west to descend Stanage Edge at an angle through a less rocky part of the crags. The road down Stanage Edge was notoriously difficult and it is recorded that carters often asked passengers to disembark and “hung stones at the end of their carts, when going down Stannidge, it having great descent”. After negotiating the Stanage incline the road swung round almost 180 degrees passing Dennis Knoll to enter Hathersage from the north.

From the plateau quad tracks lead to the north end of the Ellis and Burnand Tramway, Ongarue tramway, which the trail then mostly follows on easier gradients to Ongarue. These tramways were cleared in 2011.Poutama update August 2011 64–74 km — Waione Stream – Waikoura Stream – Goat Creek A suspension bridge crosses Waione Stream, then the tramway runs to Waikoura Stream, passing No. 11 and No. 10 camps, and the No. 9 tramway junction. The information board says Waikoura Camp at No. 9 was the largest and last camp on this tramway, built in 1950 and closed in 1963, with 6 houses and 9 single men's huts.
Work to restore the site and open it to the public later began after collaboration between the land owner and Banbridge District Council. Funding for this was provided by the Mourne Heritage Trust, and the Environment and heritage Service and the Northern Ireland Tourist Board. Soil that had built up inside was removed, some minor repairs were made, stone chippings were used to cover the floor, solar lights were placed along the walls of the passageways and the iron door was replaced. A fenced pathway along the edge of the field was also built and an information board was placed next to the entrance.

Grierson concentrated on documentary film production in New York after resigning his post following in August 1945; his resignation was to take effect in November 1945. In 1946 Grierson was asked to testify regarding communist spies in the National Film Board and the Wartime Information Board, rumours spread that he had been a leader of a spy ring during his offices with the Canadian government, a rumour he denied.
In Berlin, lengthy negotiations took place between representatives of Aachen and Cologne. Prussian king Frederick William III decided on 12 February 1837 that the line would run through Aachen and thus ended the railway dispute. Part of the Port Wall, Chepstow, showing an information board prepared by the Chepstow Society The Port Wall in Chepstow, Monmouthshire, Wales, is a late thirteenth century stone wall, which was constructed for the twin purposes of defence and tax collection by permitting users of the town's market only one point of access through the wall at the Town Gate. The wall originally formed a semi-circle extending for some , roughly southwards from Chepstow Castle to the River Wye. It enclosed an area of , including the entire town and port as it existed at that time. Substantial sections of the wall remain intact, and both the Port Wall and the Town Gate are Grade I listed buildings.
The Canon Garland Memorial Society was established on 9 July 2013 at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church at Woolloongabba, Brisbane. The society seeks to honour David Garland's role during the Australian centenary commemorations of World War I. In November 2015, the Brisbane City Council officially opened a lawn garden called Canon Garland Place at Toowong Cemetery with a commemorative information board. Canon Garland Place is located where he held his Anzac Day services in the cemetery and behind The Cross of Sacrifice and Stone of Remembrance that were funded through Garland's fundraising activities. Once inside the building, guests are divided into either traveling by helicopter (the ride portion) or traveling by foot / walking (in which they view the ride film without the motion). On 23 February 1954, the Governor of Singapore, Sir John Fearns Nicoll unveiled a plaque which declared the area had been renamed Kent Ridge to commemorate the visit by the Duchess of Kent and her son, the Duke of Kent, on 3 October 1952. The plaque was erected at the junction of what is now Kent Ridge Road and South Buona Vista Road. Dorr's rock and spring canopy Dorr first visited Mount Desert Island as a fifteen-year-old in 1868, on a vacation with his parents. On that visit they decided to buy oceanfront property at Compass Harbor, just outside downtown Bar Harbor. They did not start on the construction of the 58-acre, 30-room"Virtual tour enhances visit to Dorr estate" - Mount Desert Islander, July 11, 2018 Old Farm (also Oldfarm), designed by Maine architect Henry Richards,Compass Harbor Trail information board until 1878, however. The remains of this residence are still visible, the main house having been demolished in 1951. The remains are part of Acadia National Park today, having been accepted into it in 1942.
Barbra James had drawn a map which is placed on an information board near the East entrance of Chewton depicting the site being on the East side of Golden point road, which is where she thought the meeting had taken place one of a few different sites thought to be where the meeting was held. The Shepherds hut site where the Monster Meeting was held was confirmed by the Victorian geological survey which confirmed the Braybrooks combined evidence. By looking at the drawings completed in 1851 by David Tulloch who attended the Monster Meeting, they found and stood on the exact site of the old shepherds hut, where the Monster Meeting of Diggers was held.
The station waiting room is open for public use, having been restored by the Settle & Carlisle Railway Trust in 2002 as part of a wider refurbishment of the main buildings on the eastern side (other parts of the building are rented out for commercial use). It is located near to Pen- y-ghent, one of the mountains known collectively as the Yorkshire Three Peaks. The station and the village of Horton-in-Ribblesdale are at 850 feet above sea level, as stated on the decorative station information board, and are about north of Settle. In the 1950s and 1960s under stationmaster Taylor, Horton won the "Best Kept Station" award for 17 consecutive years.
In the village of Hightae Tourist information for Hightae there is another information board which tells how what are now the small villages of Greenhill, Heck, Hightae and Smallholm were founded as royal towns by King Robert I in the early 14th century. In each settlement portions of land were entrusted to experienced soldiers, who held them directly from the king and so were known as the "King's Kindly Tenants". They had the right to share the common lands and resources of woods and water; in consequence of which they were unusually privileged throughout subsequent centuries. In return the Kindly Tenants were obliged to provide provisions and garrisons when Lochmaben Castle was occupied by the King or his representatives.
In 2008, to commemorate the 600th anniversary of the battle, an information board and a two-sided limestone memorial stone bearing "Bramham" and "Site of Battle" signs was erected on Paradise Way, the new local access road, which crosses the battlefield site. It is known that English Civil War soldiers who died during the Battle of Marston Moor in 1644, a few miles to the north-east, are buried in the churchyard at Bramham. Records show that three soldiers rest there: Samuell Allan, Robert Johnson and Thomas Mirole. Prior to the battle, Cromwell is reputed to have trained his Ironsides on Bramham Moor, and to have recruited local young farmers whose riding skills made them ideal cavalry soldiers.
The high maintenance perennial planting was replaced with flowers shrubs as being much more easier to care by the park maintenance workers. Since 1988 the alpine garden blooms again, but the mountain plants are found only on the sunniest places to the southwest, and rather robust blooms perennials, including Sedums and Hylotelephium from the nearby Sukkulentensammlung. The original rock formation on the lake shore was intended, to lead the eye of the observer in the distance to the Alps. The Friends of Moline Lutheran Cemetery (FMLC) is a nonprofit organization which formed in 2012 to revitalize and maintain the cemetery. This organization works to protect the unique history contained within the Moline Swedish Lutheran Cemetery and raise funds to ensure its enduring accessibility to the public. A grant from the Swedish Council of America has helped fund the FMLC's goal to build a kiosk and information board to help visitors understand the history and geography of the cemetery.
