The Grotta Bianca ("white cave") is a sea cave located on the island of Capri, Italy. It derives its name from white incrustations of calcareous matter upon its sides, and from clusters of white stalactites which hang from the roof and fringe the entrance. The cave faces east and is situated near the Punta della Chiavioa. The entry, about high, leads into upper and lower caves, of which the former is not easily accessible.

The plaza de toros de Las Ventas, known simply as Las Ventas, is the largest bullfighting ring in Spain, located in the Guindalera quarter of the Salamanca district. It was inaugurated on June 17, 1931. Its seating capacity of 23,798, makes it the third-largest bullfighting run the world, adjacent to bullrings in Mexico and Venezuela, respectively. This bullring was designed by the architect José Espeliú in the Neo-Mudéjar (Moorish) style with ceramic incrustations.

Lactarius argillaceifolius var. dissimilis, a variety reported from South Carolina, is nearly identical in appearance, but it has white latex that tastes bitter then acrid. Burial YX-08 was excavated from in front of the main entrance to Structure 218, a palace-type building in the East Acropolis. The remains were deposited in a cist and possibly belonged to a member of the city's elite. The remains were those of a young adult male in his early twenties, interred lying upon his back with his skull towards the north. The skull was deformed and the upper incisors were artificially modified with jade incrustations.

As a means of legitimizing the building, both the interior and the surroundings, it began to be used as a funerary space from then until the 15th century; also there are other two tombs from the 19th century. There are numerous remains of medieval tombs, embedded in architectures in the way of a pantheon. Although it conserves the shape of the minaret, that carries incrustations of borders, in 1159 it made several Christian modifications, and the construction in the end-15th century of the Gothic chapel of Santa Catalina. The tower corresponds to the minaret of the mosque, with a Baroque brick addition at the body of the bells.

The old minaret rebuilt in the 14th century by the lord of Orgaz, is of square plan, in what can be called Toledan Mudéjar, with masonry and brick very well preserved and based on the one of the Iglesia de San Román of the same city. The tower contains incrustations of glazed ceramics and in its two upper bodies, double bell, groups of two and three windows open and between these two floors a frieze decoration of blind archery with lobulated arches and separated by small columns of glazed clay. Swords found together with the Nebra skydisk, ca. 1600 BC. While most of the other lagoons are highly saline, with thick incrustations of salt round their margins, Abhe Bad remains fresh throughout the year, owing to the great body of water discharged into it by the Awash. Another lacustrine region extends from the Shoan heights southwest to the Samburu (Lake Turkana) depression. In this chain of scenic upland lakes – some fresh, some brackish, some completely closed, others connected by short channels – the chief links in their order from north to south are: Zway, communicating southwards with Hara and Lamina, all in the Arsi Zone; then Abijatta with an outlet to a smaller turn to the Baroda and Gamo areas, skirted on the west sides by grassy slopes and wooded ranges from to nearly high; lastly, Lake Chew Bahir (formerly known as Lake Stephanie) which is completely closed and falling to a level of about above sea level. Lars Graugaard is a prolific and chameleon-like pioneer with a background in musical styles that include classical, contemporary, improvised and urban. Initiated in the booming 70s’ hippie scene, he quickly turned to a wider notion of musical creation in performance and composition. While studying flute performance at the Royal Academy of Music he would undertake self-guided studies of musical scores and collaborate with a vast array of artists well versed in improvisation in what could be characterised as ‘practical field studies in the composer/performer amalgam’. In the late 80s he experimented with the computer as a compositional aid, but quickly shifted to using it for realtime music interaction, producing pieces such as Timid Souls (1989/90) and Incrustations (1994). In the early 90s he developed his current compositional technique of ‘intuitive constructivism’ where short, intense time-spans of sonic conception allows for unencumbered composing that by nature preclude any subsequent revisions. The first works with this method were River and Leaf (1991/92), The Circle And The Web (1992) and the orchestra work Sated Bodies (1993/94), whereas emphasis on pulsations combined with time-bound elasticity that harks back to his musical initiation in the 70s became apparent for the first time in Black Walls (1995).
