Vincent Fang, a lyricist well-known for his collaborations with Jay Chou, is held at the forefront of Zhongguo feng music, with his works often treated as poetry of great artistic merit that garners high critical regard. Fang uses a poetic style which he calls “suyan yunjiaoshi” (素颜韵脚诗) in his lyrics to evoke vivid imageries of traditional Chinese culture.

Swami Vivekananda made an English version of his poem, titled "'And Let Shyama Dance There". Ramesh Chandra Majumdar wrote that the English poem "gives a somewhat unique pen-picture of sweet and grim aspects of Nature alternated with telling effect which shows a literary artist's imageries at their best." Mohit Chakrabarti, author of Swami Vivekananda, Poetic Visionary, wrote that there is a pictorial element suggested through symbols in the grapes "has also the elements of consciousness with which the poet prepares us for the terrible atmosphere where Shyama would dance in full fury." Chakrabarti also wrote that the imagery of the lips and eyes with the heart "bring forth a perfect image of Shyama who dominates the whole situation with brilliance beyond the range of consciousness".

All tracks of Folklore were conceived by Swift as imageries and visuals inside her head, a result of her imagination "running wild" while isolating herself during the COVID-19 pandemic; "Exile" rose out of one such imagery—a exiled man, who is "walking the bluffs of a land that isn't his own, wondering how it all went so terribly, terribly wrong". Swift penned the song with William Bowery, who appears to have no online presence, and thus, is presumed to be a pseudonym. The duo developed a rough demo of the song as a duet, where Swift was singing both the male and female parts, and sent it to Aaron Dessner—one of two producers Swift picked for Folklore. Dessner developed a piano template of the song with Swift's rerecorded vocals.

Upon its release, New Era was met to positive critical reviews among music critics in the local media. Aribaba of Jaguda gave the album 4 stars out of 5, stating that: "New Era, ironically does well in attempting to usher in a new era of pop music in Nigeria. A new set of expectations, and a new standard....For this, we say a big Kudos to Kiss Daniel and his team". In the same vein, Tola Sarumi, a music critic and analyst for notJustOk, was full of praise on the production of the album; further stating that: "Listening to this album is a pleasure; the imageries he manages to evoke, his composure and complex melodies all serve to remind that pop music can be well considered and produced with longevity as an outcome".

Photographically, they are able to project a “certain style (…) or aspect” of themselves. In viewing images, Filipinos find “layers of meaning about the (…) character and persona” of the subject, or subjects, caught in the photograph.

Enawo developed into a severe tropical storm at around 18:00 UTC on 4 March, for showing an impressive embedded centre pattern associated with extremely cold cloud tops. Enawo formed a ragged eye soon thanks to favourable conditions of excellent outflow, weaker vertical wind shear, and warm sea surface temperatures; however, the strengthening phase was halted for a half of day owing to a possible eyewall replacement cycle. Enawo started to intensify again and developed a well- defined eye indicated by both of satellite and microwave imageries, prompting Météo-France upgrading the system to an intense tropical cyclone at 12:00 UTC based on the structural improvements. Enawo reached its peak intensity at 06:00 UTC on 7 March, with ten-minute maximum sustained winds at 205 km/h (125 mph) and the central pressure at 925 hPa (27.32 inHg).

The main focus of this poem is the love of parents for their children, but this kind of love can be easily misunderstood by the latter, as it isn't about being kind and saying lovely words but instead are all the sacrifices that parents do; for instance, as it is implied in the poem, keeping the house warm and polishing the "good shoes". "When the rooms were warm, he’d call, and slowly I would rise and dress [...]" "[...]who had driven out the cold and polished my good shoes as well." The poem reflects how Hayden's perspective of his father's love has changed, and his understanding of it has actually gotten deeper as the years have gone by; eventually the speaker starts to appreciate the selflessness of parental actions, while feeling a sense of regret for not having ever thanked him for he has done. The title of Leehom Wang's "Mistake in the Flower Fields" () references a well-known story in Beijing opera of the same name. The song lyrics also alludes to classical Chinese works such as the novel "Dream of the Red Chamber" () and mentions "butterfly chalice" which could be a reference to the film, The Butterfly Chalice, or the legend of The Butterfly Lovers. The lyrics also uses imageries that are common in operas and poems, such as "paper window" and "candle light".
