The Escape of Debtors, etc. Act 1696 is an Act of the Parliament of England (statute number 8 & 9 W. III. c. 27), the long title of which is An Act For the more effectual relief of creditors in cases of escapes, and for preventing abuses in prisons and pretended privileged places. Several locations in London, mainly liberties and extra-parochial areas, had become notorious as hideaways for debtors escaping imprisonment. Those named in the act were Whitefriars, the Savoy, Salisbury Court, Ram Alley, Mitre Court, Fulwood’s Rents [or Fuller's Rents], Baldwins Gardens, "Mountague Close or the Minories", the Mint, and "Clink or Deadmans Place".

Austin J. "Ozzie" Yue (born 12 August 1947) is a British actor of Chinese heritage, guitarist and singer. He is most noted for his roles in television programmes such as Father Ted, All Quiet on the Preston Front and Coronation Street as well as for roles in films such as Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, Syriana and Nuns on the Run. In the 1960s Yue was guitarist with Merseybeat group the Hideaways and later for the 1970s group Supercharge; today he has his own band, "Yue Who", and in 2008 starred in the title role in Kensuke's Kingdom, a theatre production which has toured the UK.

Despite the relative sparseness of this habitat, these sites have a varied and convoluted terrain, with nooks and crannies, valleys, overhangs and hideaways that allow a crowned eagle to exercise its particular hunting skills. In Kenya, similar fractured landscapes can also be utilized by crowned eagles, such as the black gigantic volcanic rubble fields of Tsavo West National Park, the lower Chyulu Hills, Kibwezi and Soysambu Conservancy. These are jungles of boulders covered with low growth interspersed (in the past) with high trees. A nest built from scratch may take up to 5 months to construct, however existing nests are often repaired and re- used during successive breeding seasons, a process that can take as much as 3 months.

The Oxford Circle began as the Hideaways in 1964 and they were from Davis, California, which is a university town just outside of Sacramento, and Northeast of San Francisco. Their membership consisted of Gary Lee Yoder on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Dehner Patten on lead guitar, Jim Keylor on bass, and Paul Whaley on drums. They quickly became popular in the regional teen scene and in 1965 changed their name to the Oxford Circle, in deference the popular British Invasion, particularly some of the tougher blues-based bands such as Them, led by Van Morrison, who were particularly influential. The group became known for their intense live performances which included occasional use of heavy feedback from their guitars.

MSNBC, "FBI bulletin linked al-Rimi to threats against U.S.", 2003 The authorities subsequently issued a list of 19 names tied to the bombing, including al-Rimi, Abdul Rahman Jabarah, al-Faqasi and four of the dead bombers. From May 26–27, the Saudi authorities raided a number of suspected terrorist hideaways, killing or capturing six of the 15 men from their list. Again, both al-Rimi and al-Faqasi escaped from an assaulted farm, this time dressed in women's clothing. On May 27, Abu Ali messaged al-Rimi in Arabic, making a veiled reference to the Saudi raid; Al- Rimi's wife was arrested in the beginning of June along with the wife of al- Faqasi and two other women.

A German politician, Peer Steinbrück, has called for harsh penalties for the banks involved in the scandal, up to the revoking of banking licenses. ICIJ reports that the series of stories has sparked "official investigations, sweeping policy changes and high-profile resignations" around the world, with the European Union's top tax official calling Offshore Leaks “the most significant trigger” behind Europe's new push to crack down on offshore hideaways and global tax dodging. “We're in a completely different context today” because of the Offshore Leaks revelations, Belgium's secretary of state has said. “It’s a new world.” IBC consultant Ryan Mohanlal responded that each enterprise, holding, corporation or entity which is registered has its own reasons for doing so and that there are legitimate reasons to incorporate in this form.

Jacen Solo, son of Han Solo and Princess Leia, has escaped from the Yuuzhan Vong with the aid of a Jedi Master from the time of the Old Republic, Vergere. Besides making cryptic references to Jacen's destiny, Vergere also reveals that she has spent the last fifty years with the Yuuzhan Vong in order to save the living world of Zonama Sekot, as well as to gather intelligence on the Vong themselves. Meanwhile, Han and Leia Organa Solo were visiting the Imperial Remnant, trying to coax it into allying with the New Republic. Though the Remnant's leader, Grand Admiral Gilad Pellaeon, refuses the offer, he does give them the locations of the Galactic Empire's old hideaways in the deep core in order to help the Republic's war against the Yuuzhan Vong.

Lander was an intricate part of the late Mersey Beat scene, playing with well-known local band The Hideaways. The band were one of the first R&B; groups in Liverpool and to this day hold the record for the most performances in the Cavern's history, surpassing The Beatles. In the mid 1960s Judd kindled a relationship with Sonny Boy Williamson II (Aleck Ford 'Rice' Miller) who taught Lander the intricacies of the Blues Harmonica. Landers playing technique became much in demand, his curiosity for the music industry led him to record label Charisma Records, whilst still retaining his status as a respected session musician. His reputation as both a PR man & Session player grew and eventually, he was approached by Apple Records to help with John Lennon’s 75 release “Rock ‘n’ Roll Album.

After the Beatles' farewell gig on 3 August 1963, Bob Wooler gave their future dates to The Mastersounds, a local R & B band, led by Mal Jefferson. The Beatles had graduated from the club and had been signed to EMI's Parlophone label by producer George Martin. The amount of musical activity in Liverpool and Manchester caused record producers who had previously never ventured very far from London to start looking to the north. In 1963, young local band The Hideaways were signed up to the newly founded Cavern Club agency and became the resident group, often stepping in for last minute artist cancellations; they also became the first pop group to appear on a nationwide television commercial for Timex Watch Company filmed by the Rank Organisation at the Cavern Club.

While in Congress, she became the first woman to serve on the House Armed Services Committee. She was also a Congress member of the original Select Committee on Children, Youth, and Families that was established in 1983. Known in her early tenure for balancing her congressional work with motherhood, even bringing diapers to the floor of Congress, she was known for advocacy on work-family issues, a prime mover behind the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 and the 1985 Military Family Act. Schroeder was also involved in reform of Congress itself, working to weaken the long-standing control of committees by their chairs, sparring with Speaker Carl Albert over congressional "hideaways," and questioning why Congress members who lived in their offices should not be taxed for the benefit.

According to the arresting officer, then Detective Sergeant Jack Slipper, he was sent to Littlestone by Tommy Butler, and that when he got there, White surrendered peacefully on condition that they treat his wife and child with great respect. During questioning by Slipper, White hinted that the police had stolen some of the money from the caravan as the sum reported was less than what White had left there. Michael Haverland is an architect based in New York City and East Hampton, New York. His work includes residential, retail, commercial, institutional and urban design projects. Most recently, he collaborated with Calvin Klein on the design of a new house in Southampton, New York. Michael taught at the Yale School of Architecture for ten years, and coordinated the Yale Urban Design Workshop, a community design center.
