Fu Yue was originally a labourer, skilled at making walls for defence. Being unable to subscribe towards the repair of certain roads, he then worked upon them himself. After Wu Ding heard of Fu Yue, he wanted to bring him to his royal court, but was worried that his court officials would despise Fu Yue for his background. Wu Ding concocted a dream that Heaven sent him an able minister; and on seeking for the man according to the features seen in the dream, Fu Yue was discovered in a workshed and received the appointment.

The breakthrough in the discussion on the arrests came when a rebellion led by A. M. Azahari from the Party Rak'yat occurred in Brunei on 8 December 1962. Lim Chin Siong and the Barisan Sosialis expressed their support for the movement as an anti-colonial struggle but it was unclear if they were directly involved in the revolt. T. V. John Langworthy (born John Alan Langworthy, August 20, 1947) is an American songwriter singer, composer, television personality, comedian and dream-reenactment music video producer. Not knowing how to play a musical instrument, he has recorded over 6,000 songs a cappella from his dreams. In his Maxern Records studio, he has subsequently recorded and released hundreds of dream songs with his Legendary Band. Langworthy attributes the start of his career to a 1985 experience where God spoke to him in a dream, and, since then, he states his dreams have been filled with "heaven-sent" songs - despite his having no prior musical background.

The band quickly picked up a following, supporting the likes of Chapterhouse, Slowdive, Teenage Fanclub and Blur, and gained a lot of press coverage, most notably in NME, Melody Maker and The Face. The media hype around Haig paved the way for a licensing deal with Island Records. At the close of 1982, Haig recorded his first album in New York with Alex Sadkin producing. Featuring a host of crack session players (including Bernie Worrell, Anton Fier and Jack Waldman), his new direction – polished club pop – sounded radically different from Josef K. The first single released from the album, "Heaven Sent" (a dance remake of an earlier Josef K song) stalled at No. 74 on the UK Singles Chart, and failed to provide Haig with the hit many had confidently predicted. Natsuki Hayami, the heroine, is mistaken as Amakusa Shirō by the villagers she met, despite the fact that the real Amakusa Shirō was male. In the story, the real Shirō died the year previously, before gaining recognition or popularity as a leader. However, Shirō was a very feminine- looking young man and the recently arrived Natsuki physically resembles him a lot, so the villagers think she is actually him. Before long, Natsuki becomes famous as some-sort of heaven-sent angel and people started calling her "Shirō", believing she was the saviour prophesied 25 years before; she commits herself to their cause in an attempt to avert the soon-to-come rebellion, and gathers her lost partners as well so they can help her.

Androvax was successful in awakening the survivors of the Veils as he searches for a new world for them to reside in. In "Heaven Sent," the Twelfth Doctor encountered another creature that is a limping and disfigured creature in a shroud surrounded by flies also called the Veil while trapped in his Confession Dial. The creature modeled after an image of a rotting female corpse the Doctor saw in his childhood, the Veil's purpose is to force the Doctor to confess what he knew of the Hybrid.

Frankie Dettori took over from Hughes when Nahoodh contested the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot. In a change of tactics she went to the front from the start but after being overtaken a furlong out she dropped from contention and finished sixth, seven lengths behind the winner Lush Lashes. Dettori was again in the saddle when Nahoodh was matched against older fillies and mares for the first time in the Group One Falmouth Stakes over one mile on soft ground at Newmarket's July course on 9 July. The five-year-old Heaven Sent (Dahlia Stakes) started favourite ahead of Infallible (Nell Gwyn Stakes), Finsceal Beo from Ireland, Seachange (Telegraph Handicap) from New Zealand and Briseida (German 1000 Guineas) from Germany with Nahoodh next in the betting on 10/1.

Club gave the episode an 'A', for the fifth time this season, writing "This season has been a remarkable achievement for the show, and, pending next week's finale, it's got a real chance to go down as the best season of the revival, topping even Matt Smith's debut in season five. And hey, maybe "Hell Bent" will be the perfect capper to this season, or maybe it won't. But the genius of the construction of this season's endgame is that "Hell Bent" could be an unmitigated disaster and it still wouldn't really undo the genius of "Heaven Sent" or "Face The Raven" before it.

In 1996, Lessmann and Ziller decided to start legal proceedings to get the rights to the Bonfire name as well as to the music from 1986 to 1992. On July 3, a one-time payment was made to the last Bonfire members of 1994 and Lessmann and Ziller renamed their Ex project to Bonfire. The second coming began with the reissue of Glaub Dran with other songs in English in 1996. In 1997 they hired Chris Lausmann on guitar and keyboards, who had played with Affair and Frontline; Uwe Köhler on bass, formally from Black Tears, Paradise Leaf, Big Apple, Lipstikk, Blitzkrieg and British Steel; and finally Jurgen Wiehler on drums, who had played with Backdoor Affair, Heaven Sent, Chain Reaction, Loud & Proud, EZ Livin', Parish Garden, Wet Paint and 88 Crash.

The background story to the canons’ visit is described in Monodies (Book 3), a contemporary document written by Guibert de Nogent. This mentions the fund-raising journeys undertaken by the canons of Laon after the cathedral of Notre-Dame was badly damaged by fire during a civil uprising at Easter in 1112. In Chapter XIII Guibert refers to the burning of an unnamed English town visited by the canons, but he ascribes this to lightning heaven-sent as a punishment for the ungodly behaviour of the inhabitants and makes no mention of a dragon. In the mid-12th century, Herman de Laon, otherwise Hermann de Tournai, a retired Flemish Abbot, elaborated on the canons’ English journey in De Miraculis Sanctae Mariae Laudunensis (Of the Miracles of St Mary of Laon).

The Twelfth Doctor returns to Gallifrey in "Heaven Sent" (2015), having taken the "long way around" through breaking a wall of azbantium after he is teleported inside his confession dial. In "Hell Bent" (2015), Gallifrey is revealed to be in a bubble universe, and is now situated "several billion years in the future, and [when] the universe is pretty much over" for its own protection. After Rassilon is deposed and exiled by the Twelfth Doctor, Gallifrey is seen in a much later period in the episode abandoned apart from the human immortal Ashildr, who is protected in the Cloisters beneath the Citadel by a reality bubble. The Thirteenth Doctor returns to Gallifrey at the end of the events of "Spyfall" to find everything on it destroyed and a recording of the Master revealing that he orchestrated the planet's destruction.

When the Doctor next encounters Ashildr in "Face the Raven", she runs an alien refugee camp hidden in the heart of 21st century London, having lured the Doctor in using Rigsy (Joivan Wade), an old acquaintance of his, as bait. In a reckless attempt at subverting Ashildr's plan, Clara takes on the death sentence given to Rigsy to buy more time, without realising that Ashildr cannot remove it once it is transferred to a new recipient. A now-remorseful Ashildr takes the Doctor's TARDIS key, and teleports him to her collaborators, which was the plan all along, who are revealed in "Hell Bent" to be the Doctor's own race: the Time Lords. Before "Hell Bent", in "Heaven Sent", the Doctor mentions that Ashildr/"Me" is going to destroy Gallifrey, because she's the "hybrid", echoing a prophecy related by Davros in "The Magician's Apprentice" / "The Witch's Familiar".

An elderly woman on Gallifrey died and was shrouded in veils and surrounded by flies, giving the Doctor recurring nightmares which the confession dial in "Heaven Sent" would later visualise to torment him. In "Listen", it is revealed the Doctor as a child often slept alone in a barn in The Drylands (a desert region outside the city capital), was withdrawn from other children, and was cared for by guardian figures who privately doubted the child's ability as an eventual Time Lord. Through the dialogue, it is suggested that several Gallifreyan children were pressured into joining the army, a path which did not sit right with the Doctor's pacifist beliefs, and as a result he wished to enroll into the Time Lord Academy instead. The classic programme refers to his time at the Academy and his affiliation with the notoriously devious Prydonian chapter of Time Lords.

"The Woman Who Lived" received universal critical acclaim, with many critics labeling it the best of the current series. On Rotten Tomatoes the episode has a score of 85% based on reviews from 20 critics, with an average score of 9.0, being beaten by Heaven Sent. The site's consensus reads: "The Woman Who Lived" concludes a Doctor Who story for the ages, with a performance by Maisie Williams that is both fun and thought-provoking". Elements of the episode especially praised by critics included the performances of Capaldi and Williams, the episode's dark visual tone and the dialogue between the Doctor and Me. Catherine Gee of The Daily Telegraph awarded the episode a full five stars, citing Peter Capaldi's performance as a standout, as well as Catherine Treganna's screenplay: "It was, at times, a beautifully written episode – and less clunky than some of Steven Moffat’s offerings.

On December 1, Gingrich said confidently he would be the nominee, noting that recent polling had him surging in the early states of Iowa, South Carolina, and Florida, as well as closing on Mitt Romney in New Hampshire. A November 2011 CNN article by Democratic strategist Paul Begala was headlined Newt Gingrich Would Be a Godsend to the Democrats, and Iowa Senator Tom Harkin (Democrat) said in December that a Gingrich nomination would be "heaven-sent" for President Obama's election campaign. Polling among likely Republicans found Gingrich ranked just as capable as Mitt Romney to defeat Obama, and received higher levels of enthusiasm from men, evangelical Christians, and conservatives, while Romney received more support from those who labeled themselves as moderates.

Also via Rational, he released a limited edition (700 copies) cassette-only set of home-recorded electronica titled Drama, featuring Franz Kafka texts set to music, as well as a deconstruction of Josef K's Forever Drone. In January 1982, Haig played his first solo live shows in Edinburgh and London as Rhythm of Life. At this stage Haig's new material was not so different from late-period Josef K songs such as "Heaven Sent", "Adoration" and "Heart of Song", though with a greater emphasis on a stripped-down funk style. Eschewing a live drummer in favour of a drum machine, RoL earned plaudits from the press, and in February 1982 took part in Crépuscule's first European package tour, Dialogue North-South, which also included the Durutti Column, the Names, Marine, Richard Jobson, Isabelle Antena and Tuxedomoon. Haig relocated to Brussels in March 1982 where he embarked on an intensive recording schedule at Little Big One studio.

The three b-sides were described as "legendary within The Lambily for good reason." "All I Live For", a Music Box reject was described as "90s R&B-lite.;" Carey's work on "One Night" was also an "urban groove that probably scared the execs at Columbia at the time" and was "one of Mariah’s first collaborations with Jermaine Dupri, a creative relationship that would bear a lot of fruit in coming years." Carey's cover of Irene Cara’s "Out Here on My Own" was described as being "heaven-sent and, thematically, it makes complete sense for [Carey].

Uriel was set to ward off the demonic host (or those beings deemed unworthy, or unprepared) that might profane the sacred precinct. Uriel, who "helped Solomon repel demons from the Temple," was that archangel who, as he did for Enoch but also for the prophet Ezra, acted as the "interpreter" of heaven-sent visions and books — an "illuminator of the mind." In the end times, it is said, Uriel will, in warning declaration, blow his archangelic trump to usher in the boiling, melting conflagration (Isa 64:2) set to accompany the coming of the 'Son of Man' to reign for a thousand years, then judge the world. The prophet Isaiah, speaking for the Lord of Hosts, declared: "Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work [of ingathering latter-day Israel; of defending God's elect against hostile or demonic powers]; and I have created the [archangelic] waster to destroy [in the cleansing inferno at earth's harvest]" (Isa 54:16).

Most prominently Capaldi's performance in "Heaven Sent" received universal widespread acclaim, with Patrick Mulkern of Radio Times noting that "Peter Capaldi's one-man show is an instant classic", and that "Capaldi delivers 100%, carrying every scene and showing every facet of his Doctor: anger, terror, playfulness, intensity, resignation and, finally, a fierce refusal to do anything other than do what he has always done: find a way to win". In a review for "Hell Bent", Catherine Gee stated "Peter Capaldi proved that he is one of the greatest Doctors". Den of Geek praised the dynamic between the Doctor and River Song in "The Husbands of River Song", with Simon Brew noting the pair as a "strong double act", with Morgan Jeffery of Digital Spy stating "this, combined with Capaldi and Kingston's sensitive work, means you feel a weight of history between these two people who've never shared a screen before". Andrew Billen of The Times praised the Twelfth Doctor for being at his "warmest" in "The Return of Doctor Mysterio", along with The Guardian applauding the dynamic between the Doctor and Nardole noting "Peter Capaldi and Matt Lucas are 'a pantomime treat'".
