The song relies on acoustic guitar and is a narration from the perspective of a person who crashes her former love's wedding in an attempt to win him back.

According to writer Brannon Braga on the 2006 DVD release, word that production of the series was being terminated was received midway through shooting of the episode "Alienville". The ending of the episode was changed to show Molly having a dream conversation with an alien-human baby (who had been born in the episode, but appeared in the dream as a nine-year-old boy). The boy tells Molly that her Threshold plan will eventually succeed in stopping the alien invasion (the age of the boy implies it will happen within nine years), but that she would herself "not be there" (i.e. die) before this happens.

Alongside this technique, a dream sequence which is introduced by a character falling asleep and then entering the dream sequence also became popular via such films as Edwin S. Porter's Dream of a Rarebit Fiend (1906). What is important to note is these films created a model for dream sequences in which a character's inner thoughts are not represented subjectively (from the character's point of view), but from an objective camera angle that gives the audience the impression less of a character having a dream than of being transported alongside the character into a dreamed world in which the character's actions are captured by the camera in the same way they are the films' real fictional worlds.

She tries to blow it, and blows out a piece of paper stuck inside it. The paper is a sketch of her, sitting in her attic bed, reaching out for her globe lamp, and also a diary page written by a boy called Sebastian Wren. The diary page is apparently what she saw Sebastian writing in her dream before he went down the cottage, and in it he talks about just having a dream himself about a girl who follows a flute down to the cottage (Jess). He talks about her nose ring being a sign of the 'Borus, which Jess does not understand, and also that Epsilon has told him to write the diary.

Notre Dame de Paris had been banned in 1834. The work, a closet drama, depicts an unnamed pope falling asleep, and having a dream in which he participates in a pageant of scenes which represent generic situations in human history. Through a sequence of discussions and soliloquies, the Pope reevaluates his beliefs, and concludes by giving a speech in which he condemns war and capital punishment, endorses the Republican ideals of Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité, and, in instructing the people to love one another, asserts that he abandons Rome for Jerusalem and Caesar for Christ. The poem ends with an ironic envoi in which the Pope awakens and shakes off his momentary insight.

In the 1990s, Koushun Takami came up with the original story concept for Battle Royale after having a dream. Takami stated in 2009: He came up with the title Battle Royale after discussing his story concept with his friends, who said it sounded like a reimagined pro- wrestling battle royal match. Takami then took an interest in the social aspect of a battle royal match, such as how former enemies work together in order to defeat a stronger foe and particularly how former allies betray each other for their own glory. For the worldbuilding, he was inspired by his upbringing in 1960s Japan, when large groups of revolutionaries fought back against police brutality.

Barbara Steele as Elizabeth Medina, in one of the film's tinted, nightmarish flashback sequences To create the flashbacks revealing Nicholas' traumatic experiences, Corman and Crosby attempted to shoot them in a manner that would convey to the audience the character's horror in dredging up nightmares trapped in his subconscious. Corman insisted on these images having a dream- like quality, "twisted and distorted because they were being experienced by someone on the rim of madness". Corman decided to film the flashbacks in monochrome, since he had read that some psychiatrists believe most people dream in "black-and white" imagery. Crosby used wide-angle lenses, violent camera movement, and tilted camera angles to represent the character's feeling of hysteria.

Where most kids his age will spend their summer getting ready for college, Chauncey's got other plans: kick it with his boy Diego, win a youth boxing tournament and buy an Impala. Of course we all know what happens to even the best laid plans; Chauncey and Diego hang and get hung up in small-time hustles that go sour and the boxing tournament KOs any chance of Chauncey sporting golden gloves. Just as his dream car is about to ride off into the sunset, Chauncey gets it, there's a big difference between having a dream and working hard to make a dream come true.

Birendra Kumar Bhuyan was born on 25-July-1933 to Balaram Bhuyan and Sulochana Devi in Nilapada, a small village on the bank of the Birupa, a tributary of the river of Mahanadi in that time Jajpur a sub-division in the district of Cuttack. Her other friends include Joe Administrator/Joe Admin (a robot that governs the area), Freddy (a cleaning robot), and Meliza Piper (a robot that works in the plumbing) After having a “dream” of a bouncing ball, which is dismissed as a memory replaying from Malice's memory banks, Malice goes looking for clients.

There are also examples of temple makuragaeshi that are said to be wonder workers that the temple itself is dedicated to as the principal object of worship. At Daichū-ji in Nishiyama field, Ōhira, Tochigi, Tochigi Prefecture, there is a room called the "Makuragaeshi Space" (makuragaeshi no ma). It is said that once, there was a traveler who took lodging in this room, and they slept with their feet facing the principal object of worship, but upon morning, their head was facing the principal objct of worship, and this is counted as one of the seven mysteries of Daichū-ji. At a temple called Hakusan-ji at Koganeda, Mino Province (now Seki, Gifu Prefecture), there is a Kannon Bosatsu called "Makuragaeshi no Kannon" that is worshipped, and it is said that by being inside the temple, one would for some reason end up feeling sleepy, that one would doze off even if one is right in front of the Buddhist altar, but it is said that having a dream about having one's pillow flipped is proof that one's wish will be granted.
