On the eve of the competition, Arthur has an argument with James in a failed attempt to rebuild their relationship and pulls out of the choir. The choir participates in the competition without Arthur. He arrives later but before he can perform with the choir, they are eliminated from the competition by the judges. The choir are on their way to return home in defeat when Arthur stops the bus and storms the musical competition's stage shortly joined by the rest of the choir.

Aramoana, Tuesday 13 November 1990. David Gray, an unemployed man in his 30s who lives in his parent's small holiday home, cycles into town where he has an argument with staff at a bank over a minor issue. Unstable and angry, he returns home where he has a cache of fire-arms, including a semi- automatic rifle. Qwilleran rents a room from Mountclemens and starts to take care of Koko, who has rather delicate taste in eating. Mountclemens adores some local artists and despises others. One of the former is a young woman, Zoe Lambreth, whose husband owns the Lambreth Gallery, which showcases her works among others, including Scrano, and Zoe's protégé, Nino. Mountclemens has an argument with Noel Farhar, the director of an art museum; the museum lost a million-dollar deal after a bad review from Mountclemens, and as a result Farhar is retiring.

Peter sends a letter of challenge to King Miraz and the guard who gave it to him is Glozelle, one of the King's courtiers who along with Sopespian has been conspiring against the King. Miraz then has an argument with his two courtiers, initially intending to refuse the challenge, but Glozelle and Sopespian trick him into accepting the offer. Peter fights Miraz and in the struggle he stabs him. Miraz lies wounded on the floor and Glozelle finishes him off by stabbing him in the back with a knife.

Susanne is the owner of a model agency in Stockholm. Doris, her most popular model, has an argument with her fiancé, Palle, just before she goes with Susanne to Gothenburg to be photographed in a new collection. In Gothenburg Doris meets an aging Consul, who sees in her a striking resemblance to his wife, now in a mental hospital. The Consul gratifies Doris's desires for fine clothes and jewelry, and the two spend a strenuously exciting day together, until his daughter arrives and ruthlessly exposes her father's egotism.

Tyree has an argument with Eli over the real reason she took them to Waterproof and confesses to accidentally hurting Natty instead of Big. She tells him that she was once in love with Chris; Big didn't approve and called for Natty's help, to which she hit Natty with a rock. Tyree leaves in the car alone, and along the way remembers a time when she was younger. As the rest of the family is at church, listening to the service, Tyree walks in and stands along the pew.

Nico has an argument with Sienna and they fall out, which leads to Nico boarding the McQueens' party train which also contains the McQueens, which crashes causing Nico to become injured. She is admitted to hospital, where Dr. Charles S'avage (Andrew Greenough) tells Sienna and Dodger that Nico was born with one kidney, that is failing and will need a transplant, but that Sienna and Dodger do not match Nico's kidney. Sienna is upset by this and turns for help. Theresa McQueen (Jorgie Porter) then tells Dodger that she will be tested to help Nico.

Although shocked by Lily's betrayal, Denham decides to have Kilo and Merit keep Lily under surveillance because she is too valuable to eliminate. As they observe her in her apartment, Lily has an argument with a person named Kris before she is suddenly kidnapped by the syndicate Cayman-Global. Kilo fights off the Cayman- Global forces and follows Lily's abductors to their floating base in the Atlantic Ocean. Kilo kills a major Cayman-Global agent and rescues Lily, and they learn the syndicate is preparing a war against EuroCorp.

After a while she's reached by her husband. After a speech with Schirò, judge Gaetano Costa signs the arrest warrants for all the bosses of Palermo and he's subsequently killed by the Bontate family.

Robert Nord, an awkward man, spends most of his time playing with his synthesizers in his basement. After he has an argument with his wife Clara, whom he suspects is cheating on him, he returns to the basement again, to her annoyance. There, over the Internet, he discusses with several of his friends his belief that he has what he calls a "sound allergy" to the music that his wife enjoys. He proposes that a certain frequency could act as the opposite of this allergy and give him the peace that he desires.

However, he leaves his bag by accident in Suri's rickshaw. One day, Suri arranges for Shekar to rendezvous with a call girl in the unoccupied garage near his house to cheer him up after he has an argument with his family over his daughter's marriage and education. While getting some food, Suri bumps into Sethu who demands for his bag back. While traveling to get the bag, Suri is arrested by the police for driving under influence and is held at the local station for the whole night.

He is chosen to go find out what is causing the water not to flow along with Dovepaw, Tigerheart and Toadfoot of ShadowClan, Petalfur and Rippletail of RiverClan, and Sedgewhisker and Whitetail of WindClan.

Monitor withdraws, having delayed Virginia from sinking Minnesota. In view of the damage to Virginia, the exhaustion of his crew, and the falling tide, Jones also decides to retire back to port. Both sides claim victory, although the Monitor saved the rest of the blockade from destruction. Her designer, John Ericsson (Fritz Weaver), has an argument with Secretary of the Navy Gideon Welles (Conrad McLaren) over the use of insufficient powder in Monitors guns to sink Virginia: Welles's officers respond that it was a calculated decision to prevent the guns from exploding and protect the lives of the crew.

Lydia's true colours start to show when she tells Sarah she has received dead flowers on her and former girlfriend Charlotte's anniversary, she tells Sarah she thinks they are from Charlotte, she then shows the same bouquet to Charlotte and accuses Zoe. Lydia sees Sarah and Zoe going on an adventure holiday with Steph Cunningham (Carley Stenson), Fernando Fernandez (Jeronimo Best) and Gilly Roach (Anthony Quinlan) and is jealous when she takes Zoe. Lydia follows them and has an argument with Sarah.

In September 1999, Lilly Mattock became the 26th character to be axed from EastEnders by Matthew Robinson, less than a year after her arrival. The character was never given an official exit, and was just quietly dropped from the serial, making her last appearance on 2 September 1999. He is also revealed to be the warden of the prison in Wonderland. Ace is adept with a sword but will use a gun if he has to ; : :Julius is an original character, though it is suggested that he represents Time (who has an argument with the Mad Hatter), from the original Alice in Wonderland book. He is in charge of the only neutral district, the Clock Tower Plaza; it is also shown that he controls the world's time.

In Episode 4, Fame, Lola is photographed by a newspaper journalist when she kisses Matt Willis, and gives an exclusive interview to a magazine, telling lies about her relationship with Matt Willis to get an audition to dance in a Boyzone video. Delighted by her newfound fame, Lola begins skipping school to go to auditions and celebrity parties, which upsets her friends. When she has an argument with music mentor, Anna, Lola is sent to go see the school's principal, Mr Nugent. He tells her that it is against school rules to take on other auditions and that she has to choose between staying at Britannia High and becoming famous.

The same day that Patricia decides to come back to her public life in Puerto Dorado she meets Sebastian (Andrés Juan Hernandez) who is just arriving to town after several years studying in Bogotá. Their first day there is disturbed by workmen blasting to build a subway tunnel, passing drunkards harassing them through their windows, and Officer Lonigan, who warns them to stop causing disturbances. The following day, Eileen meets reporter Chic Clark at the Wallace Theatrical Production office, while Ruth seeks employment at Manhatter, where she has an argument with magazine owner Ralph Craven and leaves in a huff. Editor Robert Baker finds the manuscript she accidentally left behind in an envelope bearing her home address, and he decides to deliver it to her. Meanwhile, Ruth arrives home to discover Eileen has invited drugstore clerk Frank Lippincott to dinner.

Harold, a coal magnate in 1930s Yorkshire, discusses the closure of one of his pits with his foreman John Bailey, including the loss of 140 jobs that will result. Bailey tries to outline a plan to save the jobs but Harold rejects this out of hand. He then has an argument with Terence Avery over politics - Terence has just arrived with his parents Vanessa and Geoffrey, family friends of Harold and his wife Elizabeth. The Averys have not seen Harold and Elizabeth for ten years, last seeing them just before Harold and Elizabeth's son fell down a disused mine shaft at Bracken Moor and died a slow and agonising death.

Meanwhile, Hank is still searching tirelessly for the "rolling meth lab" RV. He learns that his friend and partner, Steve Gomez, is being sent to El Paso in his stead. Hank is left dismayed by this news, but nevertheless remains committed to his work. He returns home and has an argument with Marie after she shows concern for his well-being, feeling that he is being accused by those around him for simply doing his job. Walt goes to see Gus Fring at Los Pollos Hermanos, admonishing him for giving him Jesse's half of the money in an attempt to lure Walt into Gus' employ.

In Jing-Mei's story, Jing-Mei has an argument with Waverly at a Chinese New Year's dinner the year before the story begins. Realizing that Jing-Mei has been humiliated, Suyuan gives her a special jade pendant called "life's importance"; Jing-Mei regrets that she never learned the meaning of the pendant's name. She also confronts Suyuan with the belief that she had always been disappointed in Jing-Mei and admitted she could never live up to her high expectations. Jing-Mei believes that because she has never finished college, doesn't have a good career, and remains unmarried, she is seen as a failure in her mother's eyes.

Thiru (Nandha) is a young Airtel employee who has just moved into the family's new house in Tuticorin with his sister (Varshini), mother (Seetha), and grandmother (Sukumari). Their happiness is tinged with the grief of Thiru's father's (Agathiyan) recent death, before the construction could be completed. Fate decrees that the entire family be placed in jeopardy when Thiru has an argument with Pasupathy, the brother of the dreaded don of the waterfront mafia, Varma (Biju Menon), during the local elections. Varma swears to kill Thiru, agreeing to spare his life for just four days until the election ends, at the request of his politician crony (Ilavarasu), who is all set to become the MLA.

Bringsjord has stated that the "ultimate growth industry will be building smarter and smarter such machines on the one hand, and philosophizing about whether they are truly conscious and free on the other". Bringsjord has an argument for P = NP using digital physics. Other research includes developing a new computational-logic framework allowing the formalization of deliberative multi-agent "mindreading" as applied to the realm of nuclear strategy, with the goal of creating a model and simulation to enable reliable prediction.

Without dwellings or employment, Canaletti and Mussolini move, for the time being, to the house of Canaletti's girlfriend Francesca (Eleonora Belcamino), whom Canaletti was aided in seducing by Mussolini. There, Francesca's grandmother (Ariella Reggio), who survived the Raid of the Ghetto of Rome, has an argument with Mussolini; disgusted by Mussolini's ideas, Canaletti decides to distance himself from him. Outside alone at night, Mussolini gets violently beaten up by a group of masked men. At first, it appears to have been a group of animal rights activists acting in retaliation for the shooting of the dog, but the incident is then revealed to have been orchestrated by Bellini, to shift popularity from MyTV's rival TV station.

The film is told through the naive eyes of a diplomat's young son, Philippe, who idolises his father's butler, Baines. Baines has invented a heroic persona to keep the boy entertained, and often tells him stories of his exotic and daring adventures in Africa and elsewhere, stories such as putting down a native uprising single-handedly, killing a man in self-defence, shooting lions and so on. In reality, the butler has never been to Africa and is stuck in a loveless marriage, while dreaming of happiness with a younger woman (who he tells Philippe is his niece after the boy finds them together). After Baines has an argument with his betrayed wife, she accidentally falls from a landing to her death.

On Hydra island, Jack Shephard (Matthew Fox) says that Ben Linus's (Michael Emerson) tumor will become inoperable in a week, but adds he is not going to operate on Ben because he does not trust the Others' promise of freeing him, Kate and Sawyer (Josh Holloway). Trying to convinced him otherwise, Juliet Burke (Elizabeth Mitchell) brings Kate to talk to Jack, telling her that it is the only way to prevent Danny Pickett (Michael Bowen) from killing Sawyer. When Kate tells him this, Jack gets angry and refuses. After Kate returns to her cage, she has an argument with Sawyer, climbs out of her cage and breaks open Sawyer's, saying if he does not want Jack to save his life, he is going to save his own.

During their meeting, Leo advises Peter to agree to reveal a list of other named "communists" in order to clear his own name. Later that night, the Majestic's usher Emmett admits that he knew Peter wasn't Luke after hearing Peter play a roadhouse boogie at the town festival, since Luke was more inclined to classical music. The next day, Peter has an argument with Adele over this decision, and she gives him a letter she had gotten from the real Luke, as he boards the train. On the train, Peter reads the letter which contains Luke stating his awareness that he might die in the war for a real cause, as well as a pocket sized version of the U.S. Constitution and Luke's Medal of Honor.

At the ranch, while the doctor tends to Selton, Bill plays high-stakes poker with Jim Plummer (Joe Sawyer), who runs the ranch, and the other members of Selton's gang. Bill returns to the ranch in the next few days, both to see Virginia again and to gather information, but Plummer is suspicious of the supposed small-town lawyer, and has an argument with Selton about what to do about him, in which Selton orders him not to do anything to him. Nevertheless, one of the gang, Dutch (Ray Mayer), takes a shot at Bill while he and Virginia are riding horses, but it's Virginia who is wounded instead when her horse is shot from under her. The feverish Selton orders Plummer to deck Dutch, to show them all that he's the boss.

He, Lucius, his cousin, and Tiro gather a lot of incriminating evidence, particularly after a raid on the office of the tax collectors in Syracuse where they find out about the extent of Verres's extortion from a set of duplicate records (the originals have been removed) kept by Vibius, the financial director during Verres's term of office. On a visit to the stone quarries, they encounter crews of merchant ships imprisoned there that should have been captured pirates whom Verres had ransomed. Cicero has an argument with Metellus, the Governor, over his appropriation of the records but is allowed, under law, to make a fair copy of them and is supported by leading members of the city's most eminent men. On his return to Rome, Cicero discovers Hortensius hoping to tie up the extortion court's time until the consular elections.

Mary Jane decides to get a job to be able to afford her dress for the Homecoming dance, and because she feels dependent on Harry as he is paying for everything on their dates. After going through several different jobs and getting into trouble at school for being tired from working, she wants to stop working to avoid any more problems, but then the owner of the store where she wanted to buy her Homecoming dress offers her a job as a salesperson. Mary Jane has an argument with Liz because she thinks it is wrong that Liz always calls Flash stupid. She also wants to break up with Harry, because he is only a friend to her, but just as she is about to dump him, she realizes what a nice guy he is and how much she likes him.
