As proof that "Escape" marks a true turning point in Riverdale season 3's quality, Archie's exhilarating flight from L&L somehow ties into Jughead Jones' (Cole Sprouse) ill-advised descent into Gryphons & Gargoyle's madness… leading the teen gang leader to finally come face-to-maw with the Gargoyle King.

Since the founding of the Guelph Rowing Club in 1998, the sport of rowing has grown in popularity at Guelph Lake. From 2000, the club has also served as home to the University of Guelph "Gryphons" Rowing Team. In 2008, a permanent boathouse was constructed on the shores of the lake. This boathouse provides facilities for a thriving community of competitive and recreational rowers.

Rudy Florio (born March 26, 1950) is a former Canadian football running back who played six seasons in the Canadian Football League with the Montreal Alouettes and BC Lions. He was drafted by the BC Lions in the fifth round of the 1973 CFL Draft. He played college football at Youngstown State University. Florio also won the 20th Vanier Cup as an assistant coach with the Guelph Gryphons in 1984.

He once scored 50 points in a college game. Deciding to pursue a coaching career, he earned a degree in sports management at the University of Guelph. Dimitroff was born in Ohio to Tom Dimitroff, Sr. and Helen (née Kenhart). He grew up in Canada, where his father was a football coach with the Ottawa Rough Riders, Hamilton Tiger-Cats, and the University of Guelph in Ontario. In 1983, Dimitroff served as an equipment manager for the Guelph football team. From 1985–1990, he played defensive back for the Gryphons football team and was team captain from 1988–1990.

She would spend ten years with the program including participation at the 2002 Women's Rugby World Cup.

Since 2012, Leeds Bobcats have been based in Farnley. The team can trace their roots back to 1950 when the team played in the Intercollegiate Intermediate Football Union. Through numerous league evolutions, the Gryphons were a founding member of the Ontario University Athletics in 1980 and continue to play there to this day. The team won their first Yates Cup championship in 1984 and also won their first and only Vanier Cup championship that year against the Mount Allison Mounties. While the team was competitive in the 1990s and won two more Yates Cup championships in 1992 and 1996, the 1984 Vanier Cup was the program's only appearance in the title game. In the early 2000s, the program remained largely in the middle of the standings as the team had been at or within one game of .500 for six of those years and did not have a winning record at any point in the decade. However, led by then-head coach Kyle Walters, the upstart 4-4 Gryphons made a Yates Cup appearance in the 2007 OUA championship game, but lost to the Western Mustangs.

Stuart Lang (born January 26, 1951), a former Canadian football wide receiver, was the head coach for the University of Guelph's football team, the Guelph Gryphons, until November 2015. Lang joined Guelph's coaching staff in 2009 as receivers coach before being promoted to head coach in March 2010. As a professional player, he played for eight seasons for the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League, winning five Grey Cup championships. Collegiately, he played CIAU football for the Queen's Golden Gaels.

Alumni Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium at the University of Guelph in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. It is home to the Guelph Gryphons varsity football team. It was built in 1970, and has a fixed seating capacity of approximately 8,500, including fixed seating and the grass hill on the east side of the stadium. On October 27, 2011, it was announced that the stadium would undergo an $18 million expansion and renovation that will bring fixed seating capacity up to 7,500.

J. Bradley Pirie (born October 21, 1955) is a Canadian former ice hockey player. He played with Team Canada at the 1980 Winter Olympics. On 23 February 2015 it was announced that Fernandez had signed his first professional contract with Tampa Bay Rowdies of the North American Soccer League. Fernandez scored a goal for the Rowdies during a 5-0 closed-door scrimmage victory over the Guelph Gryphons, a Canadian college team. His first official appearance with the Rowdies was as a substitute in the closing minutes of a 2-1 win against FC Edmonton on June 6, 2015. He was released in November 2015.

In May 2004, the Bingham Cup competition was hosted by London, England, club Kings Cross Steelers. From eight teams just two years prior, twenty teams from four countries were fielded for the 2004 cup, which was won for the second time by the San Francisco Fog RFC. During the 2004 cup, the Bingham Bowl Division was introduced, a middle tier award won by the Philadelphia Gryphons. the inaugural bowl was literally a bowl from the kitchen of the Esher RFC in London.

Plans to reconstruct the 40-year-old stadium at the same location were approved in December 2014, with $20.27 million of funding needed. Principal Daniel Woolf stated that the stadium was "desperately in need of revitalization". $17 million was raised from donations, including $10 million from former Gaels football player and current Guelph Gryphons head coach Stu Lang. Construction began on December 5, 2015 and the stadium re- opened for the beginning of the 2016 football season on September 17, 2016.

After two seasons he moved to Brisbane and had his best season in 1990 when he finished third in their best and fairest. He finished his career at Fitzroy from 1993 until 1995, adding 57 games. In addition to playing for three VFL/AFL clubs he also represented Western Australia five times in interstate football. It was also announced that an eight-lane track would be installed as well as synthetic turf for the field. In addition to football the Gryphons soccer teams also play their home games at the stadium. In November 2012, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced they had reached a memorandum of understanding with the university to use Alumni Stadium as their temporary home in 2013 while Tim Hortons Field is constructed. The stadium underwent a temporary expansion to accommodate the CFL team, with seating for approximately 13,000 spectators.

Bernie Brennan (born October 1, 1927) is a Canadian Football League player. Coming straight out of St. Patrick's High School and at the age of 19, Brennan joined the Ottawa Rough Riders in 1946 and won the first Gruen Trophy for best rookie in the eastern Big Four. After one more season with the Riders he returned to school, studying veterinary medicine at Ontario Veterinarian College. He was a star with their football team, enshrined in the Guelph Gryphons Sports Hall of Fame in 1991.

Wicklum was raised in Perth, Ontario, in the Ottawa Valley, and attended St. John Catholic School and Perth and District Collegiate Institute. He played football with the Ottawa Sooners of the Canadian Junior Football League. After high school graduation, he entered the University of Guelph and received a B.S. in biology in 1990. He played football with the Guelph Gryphons winning the Vanier Cup in 1984 and named an OUAA All-Star in 1987, setting the Guelph record with 119 total tackles in the season.

Kimberly Brandão returned despite attending a training camp with Sky Blue FC, but Erika Sutton left for the Boston Breakers and Sarah Wagenfuhr joined St. Louis Athletica. While Skan is recovering in the Healer's tent, he meets Zhaneel, a timid and shy female gryphon who distinguished herself by slaying three makaar using unorthodox falcon-like diving tactics; Skan suggests that she spend her reward token on Amberdrake's services to overcome her apparent shyness -- actually the result of a bullied childhood; having been orphaned at a young age, other gryphons taunted her falcon-like appearance as being "misborn" and a "cull". Skan also becomes furious with a healer named Winterhart, whose job is to care for Urtho's non-human creatures (such as the gryphons) but who shows no emotional investment in any of them, viewing and treating them as simple beasts -- a feeling shared by the leaders of the Sixth Wing division, General Shaiknam and Commander Garber. Despite being the son of Urtho's most distinguished general, Shaiknam shows no actual competence in military strategy or issuing sound orders. After a therapy session with Amberdrake, Zhaneel is encouraged to put her unique skills to use and gradually assembles a training course in her off-duty time, which begins to grow in size and popularity.

Grandy's junior career was highlighted by winning the 2011 Pepsi Ontario Junior Curling Championships with teammates Sarah Wilkes, Laura Crocker and Lynn Kreviazuk, defeating Jasmin Thurston in the final. The team represented Ontario at the 2011 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, where the finished with a 5-7 record. Later that season, Grandy skipped the Guelph Gryphons University curling team at the 2011 CIS/CCA Curling Championships, finishing with a 2-5 record. Laura Crocker, her junior teammate won the event as the skip for the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks.

The Senior Men's football team made their OFSAA Golden Horseshoe Bowl finals debut in 2012. They lost to the Lakeshore Catholic Gators of Port Colborne by a score of 29–28, despite leading 21–8 at halftime. The Robinson Rams have a long history of football alumni going on to play in university or professionally, this list extended in 2016 as AJ Allen signed his Letter of Intent to play with the University of Guelph Gryphons football program. Allen was the 35th overall selection for the 2020 CFL Draft, by the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

The Head of The Trent is one of the largest events of its kind in the world, and the largest single-day regatta in North America. A new rowing/paddling tank, named in honour of former head coach Carol Love, was recently opened in the new Trent Community Sports and Recreation Center (formerly the Trent Athletics Complex). Trent's lacrosse team went through the 2008 campaign with a perfect regular season of 10-0 winning the Eastern Championship. However fell short in the Bagataway Championships to the eventual CUFLA champions the Guelph Gryphons.

A sunken pond and ancient trees feature in the grounds Clipped yews line the driveway and are featured in the main gardens, which are surrounded by flint and brick walls; a small maze-like topiary display section is enclosed by a low wall and principally entered through wrought iron gates guarded by stone gryphons. Side entrances to the topiary section include an extravagant archway in the south-west wall. The garden is extensively planted with roses and traditional bedding flowers. Resting places, stepped terraces and ornate recesses are incorporated into the brick garden walls.

The k'Leshya tribe of the Kaled'a'in nation, along with the gryphons, some hertasi, tervardi, and kyree, have fled from the gates that they escaped before the Cataclysm from the end of the mage wars. The city is named based on its shape, a large gryphon preparing for flight over the ocean, and the white gryphon, Skandranon.

The game, which lasted 167 minutes and 14 seconds, including 107:14 of extra time, is the longest on record in CIS or NCAA hockey – women's or men's. Winning goaltender Mel Dodd- Moher made 66 saves, while Danielle Skoufranis made 44 saves in a losing cause. It is the longest game played sanctioned by Hockey Canada.

The architectural composition featuring figures of gryphons and large concrete lions at the top of the stairs were created by an Italian sculptor, Emilio Sala. On the construction of the building was expended 249,000 rubles with only 100,000 paid by the government of Russian Empire. Another 108,000 rubles were paid by the Tereshchenko family who also created the Museum of Western and Oriental Art in Kyiv. At first, at the first floor was located exhibition of the Russian archeologist Vikentiy Khvoyka who moved to Kyiv from the Kingdom of Bohemia.

The real Rhys makes her realize the truth, and she learns from the specter that a dragon would be her best bet for finding the cure. Rhys has to leave for the Sorcerers' Citadel, but not before Addie realizes that there's more behind their friendship. After accidentally overcoming a pack of gryphons with her tablecloth, Addie is found by the dragon Vollys and taken to her lair. Although dragons are solitary creatures, they are also lonely, so Addie is forced to entertain Vollys to avoid a fiery demise in Vollys' stomach.

In June 2019 the Buccaneers lifted their first piece of silverware when they won the first annual Bone Idle Tournament held at Bradford Ice Arena. The tournament consisted of 6 teams (Bradford Ice Wolves, Leeds Gryphons, Coventry Centurions, Trafford Thunder, Sheffield Mavericks and Blackburn Buccaneers). All 6 teams played each other in a round-robin format with the top 2 teams playing for the trophy and the 3rd/4th teams playing in a 3rd place playoff. The Buccaneers won all but one of their round-robin games leaving them at the top of the leaderboard.

Blaine Schmidt (born August 23, 1963 in Sudbury, Ontario) is a former professional Canadian football guard who played twelve seasons in the Canadian Football League. Schmidt played CIS football for the Guelph Gryphons. He played professional football first for the Edmonton Eskimos in 1986, then played the bulk of his career with the Toronto Argonauts from 1987 to 1994, including winning the 79th Grey Cup in 1991. He finished his career playing for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats from 1995 to 1997, when he was named to the 1996 East Division All-Star team.

Ceratopsian skulls are common in the Dzungarian Gate mountain pass in Asia, an area once famous for gold mines, as well as its endlessly cold winds. This has been attributed to legends of both gryphons and the land of Hyperborea Fossils appear to have directly contributed to the mythology of many civilizations, including the ancient Greeks.

Besides the four museums, The Palace of Culture presents some other attraction points. One of them is the Gothic Room, where can be admired the mosaic that presents a medieval bestiarum (gryphons, bicephalous eagles, lions). When the Sixth Wing commander is killed by an explosion in his command tent, Shaiknam resumes command of the Sixth Wing -- much to the gryphons' dismay -- and Skan volunteers to lead the Sixth Wing as they stage a formal protest of Shaiknam's latest orders. Skan then meets with Urtho privately to discuss Shaiknam.

These ruins were constructed of limestone and masonry, and the interior is accessible from the western or southern façades. Kyle Walters (born July 23, 1973 in St. Thomas, Ontario) is a former professional Canadian football defensive back and is currently the general manager for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League. Walters built the Winnipeg team that won the 107th Grey Cup 33-12 over Hamilton. He played for seven seasons for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and won a Grey Cup championship as a player with the team in 1999. Following his retirement, he became the defensive coordinator for the University of Guelph Gryphons and served as their head coach from 2006 to 2009.

John Rush (born October 23, 1993) is a professional Canadian football fullback for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was signed as a free agent on November 30, 2015 by the Blue Bombers after going unselected in the 2015 CFL Draft. Rush played CIS football at linebacker for the Guelph Gryphons from 2011 to 2015 where he won the Presidents' Trophy in his final year as university football's best defensive player. He attended training camp with the Blue Bombers in 2016, but was part of the team's final cuts that year.

Lockett played university hockey in Canada with the Guelph Gryphons of the CIAU for one season before turning pro with the Baltimore Clippers of the American Hockey League (AHL) in 1972–73. After two seasons in the AHL, Lockett joined the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League (NHL) where he played backup to Gary Smith. In his first year with the Canucks, he recorded 2 consecutive shutouts as part of a franchise record setting 184:20 minute shutout streak in April 1975. Three of the Haighlei crewmen exit the ship and claim that the land that White Gryphon is part of their country. Judeth makes a stand claiming that the gryphons flew from one part of the land to another and never saw any markers that showed that the land belonged to any other place. At this time, the crewmen finally notice Skandranon and decide that they need to contact their home city. After the discussion with their leaders, the crewmen decide to stay in the city of White Gryphon and then take Skandranon, Zhaneel, and their children (Tadrith and Keeneth), along with Amberdrake, Winterhart, and their daughter (Windsong) back to their nation.

Six Nations Rebels hosted the 2012 Founders Cup Tournament at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena from August 14 to August 19 with 8 teams from across Canada in attendance. The representatives from across Canada were as follows: BC Jr B Lacrosse - Kamloops Venom, Alberta Jr B Lacrosse - Calgary Mountaineers, Saskatchewan Jr B Lacrosse - Saskatchewan SWAT, Manitoba Jr B Lacrosse - Manitoba Gryphons, Ontario Jr B Lacrosse - Akwesasne Indians, Quebec Jr B Lacrosse - Team Quebec, Nova Scotia Jr B Lacrosse - Team Nova Scotia, Iroquois Lacrosse Association - Onondaga Redhawks and the host team Six Nations Rebels. Teams were split into two Pools. Pool A had Akwesasne Indians, Onondaga Redhawks, Team Quebec and Saskatchewan SWAT.

After retiring from her international career, McAuley spent a decade as an assistant coach for the Guelph Gryphons before becoming the head coach in 2006. Under her supervision as head coach, the program won eight OUA championships and a national title in 2011. She runs an athlete-centered program which focuses on technique as much as the psyche of her players. Her ability to develop and spot talent earned her the title of Pathway Coach to National 15's and 7's programs for the past decade including representation as Maple Leafs 7s Assistant Coach at the invitational Las Vegas sevens tournament in 2017.

Each face of the octagonal towers had two-light windows in double rows. Both sides of the gate were faced with chequerboard patterns of flint and stone, and also decorative carved panels, including a royal coat of arms above the arch, gryphons holding shields, and other royal emblems, such as the portcullis, fleur-de-lys and Tudor rose. Roundels to either side of the large central windows held with busts, possibly by Giovanni da Maiano. British University Baseball has also been growing, with 20 universities with clubs at the end of the 2015/16 season: Cambridge, Coventry, Durham, Edinburgh, Essex, Hull, Imperial, Leeds Beckett, Leeds Gryphons Baseball Club, Loughborough, Manchester Metropolitan University (Cheshire), Nottingham University, Nottingham Trent University, Sheffield, Southampton, Stirling, Swansea, UCL and University of East Anglia. The University season runs from September to May, the typical off-season for the sport. Without a British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) league, teams compete in the National University Baseball Championships (NUBC) tournament, which happens twice a year in the spring and the autumn and is run by BaseballSoftballUK (BSUK). The Spring 2016 Champions are Loughborough, and have won the past 3 NUBC tournaments.

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats played 2013 home games at Alumni Stadium in Guelph, with the exception of Touchdown Atlantic (see below). The team's previous venue, Ivor Wynne Stadium, was demolished during the offseason, and its replacement, Tim Hortons Field, would not be ready until at least 2014. For the first time in decades, the Tiger-Cats did not host the Labour Day Classic and instead traveled to Vancouver to face the BC Lions that weekend. Because Ontario University Athletics (of which Alumni Stadium's primary tenants, the Guelph Gryphons, are a member) also has a tradition of playing football games on Labour Day, finding a suitable venue within Southern Ontario would have been impossible.

Percival Molson Memorial Stadium (also known in French as Stade Percival- Molson; commonly referred to as Molson Stadium in English or Stade Molson in French) is an outdoor football stadium located downtown on the slopes of Mount Royal in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Named in honour of Percival Molson, it is owned by McGill University and was the home of the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League from 1954 to 1967 and again from 1998 to present. The stadium is also home to the McGill Team and McGill Martlets of the RSEQ, the Montreal Royal of the American Ultimate Disc League, and the Canadian Corporate Soccer League, the largest amateur corporate league in Canada. The Selwyn House Gryphons high-school football team also play their home games at the stadium.

At that time there was a tradition of using "spoila", remnants of classical buildings, and it is likely that the structure used cut stone from the classical city which existed in the area of what is now called Piano San Leonardo. Carew Wyndham was a patron of painters such as Turner and Constable, and of the sculptor John Flaxman who contributed an heroic group of Michael overthrowing Satan for the North Gallery. Turner spent much time at Petworth House and had a studio on an upper floor. He painted landscapes of Petworth, Arundel, and one of the earl's canal projects, the Chichester Ship Canal. Like his father, the earl also collected French furniture, as when on a visit to Paris in July 1802 during the Peace of Amiens, he bought a pair of five-light candelabra supported by bronze female caryatids,with upraised arms and with their legs flanked by seated gryphons holding up the ends of their tunics so as to reveal their feet supplied by Martin-Eloy Lignereux.

The evil Prince Ancar of Hardorn, while experimenting with magic, accidentally draws the equally evil man-cat Mornelithe Falconsbane from his prison in the Void. Meanwhile, Heralds Elspeth and Skif witness the reunion of Clan k'Leysha, a tribe of Hawkbrothers which was divided because of a magical mishap. The two Heralds, together with Elspeth's lover Darkwind k'Sheyna, Skif's lover Nyara (Falconsbane's estranged daughter), the magical sword Need, the gryphons Treyvan and Hydona, the k'Treva mage Firesong, and the kyree Rris, are leaving for Valdemar, where the non-Heralds will be ambassadors for their various clans. Firesong's Gate (a magical portal enabling the person to cross large distances in a single step) is co-opted by the ghost of Herald Vanyel, a Herald-Mage who died saving the kingdom.

After playing at UPEI in the 1976–77 season and Lakehead University in the 1977–78 season, Arseneault coached college basketball in Canada in Ontario Universities Athletics Association, later known as Ontario University Athletics (OAU), for the Guelph Gryphons and McMaster Marauders. He moved to the United States and coached women's basketball in New Hampshire for two years at the now-defunct Hawthorne College, where he was also their athletic director, before coaching the men's team in rural Iowa for the Grinnell Pioneers beginning in 1989. He inherited a Grinnell program, which competed in Division III, that had not had a winning season in 25 years. After a couple years of trying out traditional eight- player rotations, he felt Grinnell needed to change its basketball philosophy to rejuvenate the team and have more fun.

The 13 Lives of Captain Bluebear follow the adventures of the character Bluebear in the first half of his 27 lives (the joke being that a bluebear lives three times as long as a cat). The novel intersperses Bluebear's narrative with excerpts from The Encyclopedia of Marvels, Life Forms and Other Phenomena of Zamonia and its Environs by Professor Abdullah Nightingale, who bacterially transmits it into Bluebear's brain. The plot is set in the fictional continent of Zamonia (location of several other novels by Walter Moers) on Earth before the "great descent" in which Zamonia and many other continents sink beneath the waves. Many of the creatures encountered by Bluebear in the novel are taken from myths, folktales, prehistory, and Moers' imagination, among them Gryphons, Maenads, Trolls, Yetis, and Pterodactyls.

Simon landed some good sponsorship, attracted some of the former Gryphons players (as well as some new blood), and with a bit of help from Eddie and the Collingwood Football Club, the Putney Magpies were born. Simon remained as President for the first two years. The Putney Magpies Football Club made the 2004 Conference Grand Final in its first year as a club, a top four finish in 2005, developed five International players who represented their country in the 2005 British Bulldogs tour to Melbourne for the AFL International Cup, and boasted the 2005 Conference Best and Fairest winner and both the 2004 and 2005 Grand Final half time 'Dash for Cash' winners. In seasons 2008 and 2010, the Putney Magpies competed in the London AFL Premiership Grand Final.

The facility also hosted the 2014 OUA Figure Skating Championships, won by the Guelph Gryphons. On December 13–14, 2014, the arena was the host of two exhibition games between the Canada men's national junior ice hockey team and a team University All Stars of combined Ryerson Rams, University of Toronto Varsity Blues and York Lions players in preparation for Canada's participation in the 2015 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships. The indoor rowing event held at Mattamy Athletic Centre for the 2017 Invictus Games. The arena, under the name Ryerson Athletic Centre, was one of the venues for the 2015 Pan American and Parapan American Games, hosting the basketball tournament of the 2015 Pan American Games, wheelchair basketball of the 2015 Parapan American Games and various events (Indoor rowing, powerlifting, sitting volleyball, wheelchair basketball and wheelchair rugby) for the 2017 Invictus Games.

The addition of full-time coaches Jean-Vincent Posy-Audette (Defensive Coordinator), Nathan Taylor (Special Teams Coordinator), and Carl Tolmie (Offensive Line coach) began the Gee-Gees' journey back to the post-season. The adjustments to the coaching staff paid off, as the team finished 6-2 and returned to playoff action in 2016. The team opened the season with a 65–1 victory over the Waterloo Warriors, a victory that would set the tone for the rest of the season. Highlights of the season included a 30–8 win over the McMaster Marauders, their 31–28 overtime victory over the Guelph Gryphons, and their 42–41 overtime victory over the Queens Gaels which was won by a 2-point conversion attempt that was tipped by a Golden Gaels defender in the end zone but was ultimately reeled in by Mitchell Baines.

He is later placed on leave while another, more competent, commander is assigned to the Sixth Wing instead. Meanwhile, upon mentioning how only Urtho knows the secret to gryphon fertility, Amberdrake suggests that Skandranon steal the knowledge for possible use in bargaining with Urtho; they consult Urtho's library with Tamsin and Cinnabar, acquiring the secret notes, and discovering that the "secret" is easy to accomplish, with the majority of effort spent simply maintaining its secretive nature. Skan also discovers a strange, childlike gryphon named Kechara locked in an isolated room of the library, but realizes that Urtho has kept this "misborn" Kechara safe from the harassment that haunted Zhaneel's childhood. Through her treatments with Amberdrake, Winterhart begins to treat the gryphons more as persons than animals, starts to become friends with Amberdrake, and in turn begins to question her superficial relationship with a mercenary mage named Conn Levas.

The athletic teams are formally known as the Knights of the Rockville Campus, the Falcons of the Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus, and the Gryphons of the Germantown Campus. The basketball/volleyball arena, Knights Arena in Rockville, was home to the Maryland Nighthawks of the Premier Basketball League for the 2007 season, before the team moved to Georgetown Preparatory School Field House. Next was the Rebels nemesis the previous 2 years, the Elora Mohawks. This year was different as the Rebels needed 4 games to eliminate the Mohawks to advance to the OLA Jr B Finals against the Halton Hills Bulldogs for the J. A. MacDonald Trophy. The Rebels took the finals opener 14-11, however the Bulldogs would win the next two contest 9-6 and 8-5. The Rebels rebounded to win game four 13-9 to force the fifth and final game at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena. With more than 1,600 lacrosse fans watching the final game, the Rebels would claim a 10-7 victory to advance to the Founders Cup tournament in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The Rebels breezed through the round robin earning a perfect 5-0 record with victories over the Calgary Mountaineers (14-11), Montreal Phoenix (20-2), Manitoba Gryphons (17-3), Saskatchewan Selects (27-4) and Saskatchewan SWAT (16-8) giving them a bye into the finals.
