On 3 July 2007, the militant supporters of Lal Masjid and Pakistani security forces clashed in Islamabad after the students from the mosque attacked a nearby government ministry building. The Planning Portal is a website that was established by UK Government in 2002 to allow planning applications in England and Wales to be processed electronically. It later added guidance and information content, interactive guides, an application service for Building Regulations approval and the ability to purchase site location plans. The Ministry of Development () was a government ministry in the Republic of Turkey that was formed on 29 June 2011 after the dissolution of the State Planning Organisation. The Ministry was led by Minister of Development Cevdet Yılmaz, of the Justice and Development Party (AKP), formally taking office on 6 July 2011 after the formation of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's third cabinet. He was succeeded by Müslüm Doğan in August 2015, who resigned in September 2015 and was succeeded by Cüneyd Düzyol. Yılmaz took over the Ministry for a second time from November 2015 to May 2016 before being succeeded by Lütfi Elvan.

The Myanmar Premier League (since 2005 simply Myanmar League) was the top division of Burmese football in Myanmar from 1996 to 2009. The league consisted of Yangon-based football clubs, made up mostly of clubs run by various government ministries plus a few private football clubs. Founded in 1996, the league was an attempt to reform the Burma First Division football, which consisted of all government ministry run football clubs, by allowing private football clubs. Nonetheless, the Yangon-based league never gained traction with Burmese fans, and has been replaced by the Myanmar National League, the country's first ever professional league since March 2009.

Akram Al-Hourani (, also transcribed El-Hourani, Howrani or Hurani) (1912 – 24 February 1996), was a Syrian politician who played a prominent role in the formation of a widespread populist, nationalist movement in Syria and in the rise of the Ba'ath Party. He was highly influential in Syrian politics from the beginning of the 1940s until his departure into exile in 1963. Al-Hourani held various positions including a government ministry and the joint vice- presidency of the United Arab Republic. He is the grandfather of Akram Al- Hourani (1983), a lecturer and researcher in wireless network engineering and signal processing at RMIT University in Australia.

On 7 June 2014, the Ministry of Information announced that Atom had agreed to defect from Al-Shabaab. According to the Federal government ministry, Atom accused Ahmed Godane, the leader of Al-Shabaab of having a foreign agenda. "I would like to declare that as of today I have decided to resolve my religious and political issues through peaceful means and understanding," Atom said, according to the government. The defection was welcomed by Puntland where Atom staged his insurgency. In reaction to Atom’s surrendering, the President of Puntland regional State Abdiweli Mohamed Ali Gaas said that Atom’s decision to defect was a great defeat for Al Shabab who now seems to be disassembling.

One of the main online organisers of a planned 11 March "Day of Rage", Faisal Ahmed Abdul-Ahad (or Abdul-Ahadwas), was alleged to have been killed by Saudi security forces on 2 March, by which time one of the Facebook groups discussing the plans had over 26,000 members. Small protests over labor rights took place in April 2011 in front of government ministry buildings in Riyadh, Ta'if and Tabuk.

In a statement, several Sudanese activists, including those of the Sudanese Professionals Association and the Sudanese Communist Party, denounced the Transitional Military Council as a government of "the same faces and entities that our great people have revolted against". The activists demanded that power be handed over to a civilian government. On 12 April, Col. General Omar Zein al-Abideen, a member of the Transitional Military Council, announced that the transfer of Sudanese government to civilian rule would take place in "as early as a month if a government is formed" and offered to start talks with protestors to start this transition. The Wehrmachtsamt was turned into the Oberkommando der Wehrmacht (OKW; High Command of the Armed Forces), which formally existed until the end of World War II. The High Command was not a government ministry, but a military command, however. After World War II, West Germany started with preparations for rearmament (Wiederbewaffnung) in 1950, as ordered by Chancellor Konrad Adenauer. Ahead of the 2019 general election, then- presidential candidate Alberto Fernández announced his intention of creating of a new government ministry dedicated to overseeing public policies pertaining to women's issues, especially the issue of gender-based violence against women. Gómez Alcorta was touted by Fernández and vice-presidential candidate Cristina Fernández de Kirchner to head the new ministry ahead of the Frente de Todos ticket's victory in the 2019 election. Under Gómez Alcorta's vision, the new ministry was subdivided into two secretariats, one dedicated to designing and implementing policies to mitigate gender-based violence against women, and another tasked with implementing policies related to equality and gender and sexual diversity. President Alberto Lleras Camargo changed the course of the SIC when he issued the Decree 1717 of 18 July 1960, substituting the SIC with the Departamento Administrativo de Seguridad (DAS), or Administrative Department of Security. The functions of the DAS were laid out by means of Decree 512 of 1989, passed during the administration of President Virgilio Barco Vargas. The DAS formally became the Security Organization of the State as an official, technical, professional and apolitical institution during the administration of President César Gaviria Trujillo, by means of Decree 2110 of 1992. The Ministry of Culture and Enlightenment () was a government ministry during the German occupation of Norway, established on 25 September 1940, and closed down at the end of World War II. United World College of the Adriatic (UWC Adriatic or UWCAd ) is a part of the United World Colleges, a global educational movement that brings together students from all over the world with the aim to foster peace and international understanding. The school is attended by around 200 mixed-gender students aged between 16 and 19, mostly on full scholarship, from around 90 countries of the world, who study the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, a two-year internationally recognized pre-university program. According to Alice Amsden's Getting the Price Wrong, the intervention of state in the market system such as grant of subsidy to improve competitiveness of firm, control of exchange rate, wage level and manipulation of inflation to lowered production cost for industries caused economic growth, that is mostly found in late industrializers countries but foreign to early developed countries. As in the case of Japan, there is little government ownership of industry, but the private sector is rigidly guided and restricted by bureaucratic government elites. These bureaucratic government elites are not elected officials and are thus less subject to influence by either the corporate-class or working-class through the political process. The argument from this perspective is that a government ministry can have the freedom to plan the economy and look to long- term national interests without having their economic policies disrupted by either corporate-class or working-class short-term or narrow interests.

He has a book of four parts entitled “Index of Official papers related to Food and Slaughter according to Islamic Rites, for the period of 1979-2018. He has organized since 2011 through Kuwait government (Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research) and GSO (Gulf Standard Organization) of the GCC Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf few international Gulf conferences on the Halal Industry and its Services in Kuwait.

The formation for the outdoor parade is a battalion-sized (100–900 soldiers) formation of military units of an armed forces formation from CIS countries (from either the navy, army and air force, as well as public security formations in these countries). 4 to 14 companies is the usual size of the parade and a military band providing the ceremonial music is present. The parade commander is either a field grade or general/flag grade officer of the armed forces or public security formations while the reviewing officer can be a general or flag grade officer with higher billets and/or command responsibilities or a minister/deputy minister or chairman/vice chairman of the concerned government ministry/agency. Following the entrance of the national colour guard carrying the national flag (usually in Russia accompanied by the playing by the band of the March of the Preobrazhensky Regiment), the parade commander then marches off to inform the reviewing officer of the readiness of the parade to receive the concerned unit colours.

In 1992, the Guizhou Provincial and Liupanshui Municipal Government jointly proposed the Shuibai Railway Project to the National Planning Committee, the institutional predecessor of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC). The project was intended create a means to transport coal from mines in western Pan County, boost local economic development and connect the Guiyang-Kunming and Panxi railways. In 1993, the NDRC recommended the project to the State Council. After the State Council gave approval, the project was assessed by the China International Engineering Consulting Corporation. In 1996, the Guizhou Provincial Government, Ministry of railways and Ministry of Coal formed a joint-venture company, the GSRC. The Ministry of Coal eventually withdrew from the venture, leaving the Guizhou government and railway Ministry with 51% / 49% sharehold in the venture. In 1997, the GSRC sought a development assistance loan from the ADB, which undertook a fact- finding mission. A loan of $140 million was approved in August 1998 and bidding began on the procurement of civil engineering services.

The National College for Teaching and Leadership (NCTL) (inheritor of the site and functions of the National College for School Leadership (NCSL)) was an executive agency of the Department for Education (a United Kingdom Government Ministry whose responsibilities extended to England only, not Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland). NCTL had two key aims, to improve academic standards by ensuring there was a well qualified and motivated teaching profession in sufficient numbers to meet the needs of the school system; and to help schools to help each other to improve. NCTL also supported the quality and status of the teaching profession by ensuring that in cases of serious professional misconduct, teachers were prohibited from teaching, and it had oversight of teachers' induction and awarded Qualified Teacher and Early Years Teacher Status. In April 2018 the National College for Teaching and Leadership was discontinued, its functions being absorbed by a new Teaching Regulation Agency for the regulation of the teaching profession, and by the Department for Education for other matters.

State Agency for Fisheries of Ukraine Emblem The State Agency for Fisheries was established to implement the state policy in fish industry of Ukraine. In 1994 to 1997 served as a government ministry in Cabinet of Ukraine. It supervises protection, use and reproduction of aquatic biological resources, regulation of fisheries, maritime safety of fishing fleet vessels and to exercise its powers in the cases established by Ukrainian legislation on the territory of Ukraine in the exclusive (maritime) economic zone and on the continental shelf of Ukraine, as well as in the exclusive economic zones (in the fishing zones) of other states and in open ocean areas that are under the jurisdiction of international organizations on fisheries management, as well as in those that are outside of any jurisdiction according to the international agreements of Ukraine. One of the main tasks of the Agency is submission of proposals concerning the state policy in the fisheries field and fishing industry, protection, use and reproduction of aquatic bio-resources, regulation of fisheries and maritime safety of fishing fleet vessels to the Minister of agrarian policy and food of Ukraine.

The Ministry of the Interior is the lead government ministry on counterterrorism policy, public order and security, immigration and border controls, and civil protection. Within the Interior Ministry, the Public Security Department directs and manages the national police force and is responsible for implementing the public order and security policy; the Civil Liberty and Immigration Department sets immigration and asylum policy; and the Fire Brigade, Public Aid, and Civil Defense Department has the lead on setting emergency preparedness and response policy, including for terrorist incidents. Several other government ministries may also play a role in different aspects of combating terrorism and homeland security affairs; these include the Defense Ministry, the Health Ministry, and the Infrastructure and Transport Ministry. Chaired by the Interior Minister, The Public Order and Security Committee examines every issue relative to the protection of public order and security and to the organization of the police forces. Other key members are the Chief of Police/Director General of Public Security (who heads the Interior Ministry's Public Security Department), and a Council of Ministers’ undersecretary with special responsibility for the intelligence services (this undersecretary is designated by the Prime Minister).

Rural Learning Centre (RAC) began as an outreach to help poor farmers to increase their yield, as a program of 20–30 days at an internship farm, and for craftsmen to improve their production technology. After Fr. Alain Delaitre took charge in 1957 the effort evolved to include livestock farming, "FIFA". With an increasing number of clientele seeking training, and the demand for more breadth in the educational effort, the center now offers 10 different courses. In 1985 a masonry school was added (Building Technical School, ETB), and the name of the institute was changed to PSC Bevalala. In 1995 ETB was officially recognized by the government ministry.Ministerial decree No. 95/004 / MEN Jesuit higher education in agronomy, begun in 1993 as a 2-year, National Higher Diploma farm (BAC +2), received approval from the government ministry in 1998.Decree No. 2001/98 of 17 March 1998 From 2003, when the Jesuit Assistancy of Africa and Madagascar determined to found a technical university incorporating PSC and the EPSA, the effort was extended with the encouragement of the government to areas not yet covered, like milk, meat, SRI, and organic farming. in 2006 with the government's adoption of the LMD system in higher education, the EPSA BAC+2 formula became BAC+3.
