The HAZOP technique is qualitative, and aims to stimulate the imagination of participants to identify potential hazards and operability problems. Structure and direction are given to the review process by applying standardised guide-word prompts to the review of each node. The relevant international standard calls for team members to display 'intuition and good judgement' and for the meetings to be held in 'a climate of positive thinking and frank discussion'. The HAZOP technique was initially developed in the 1960s to analyze major chemical process systems but has since been extended to other areas, including mining operations and other types of process systems and other complex systems such as nuclear power plant operation and software development.

Additionally, the game may report a technological innovation which has a positive effect on subsequent rounds, such as reducing the amount of grain that may spoil or reducing the number of farmers needed for each acre of land. He was later replaced by Mr Ian Frost. Mr Ian Frost: Took over the top job in September 2015, and initially had some success with the school being removed from Special Measures and being rated as Requires Improvement with a Good judgement for Leadership & Management by Ofsted. Despite this, improvements were not sustained and exam outcomes were poor, Mr Frost subsequently resigned with immediate effect in April 2018 following the school being placed in Special Measures for the third time since opening in 2010. Gold discoveries are not reported in the journals of the early fur traders, and it became policy on the part of the fur companies to not advertise the presence of gold as the protection of the fur trade was the main corporate interest of their enterprise. Governor Etolin of Russian America expressly forbade news of gold discoveries as a serious crime against the state. Small quantities of gold were reported by traders in the 1830s and at some posts became current in local trading, though not common or in quantity. but Hudson's Bay Company policy, or the good judgement of the Chief Trader, kept news of such discoveries quiet until a large trove was brought into Fort Kamloops in 1856 by members of the nearby Tranquille tribe of the Secwepemc.

In July 1806 he was given command of the ship and order to convoy General Samuel Auchmuty's troops to Buenos Aires, where he would relieve Admiral Sir Home Riggs Popham, who, with troops under William Carr Beresford, had captured Buenos Aires in the first of a series of British invasions of the Río de la Plata. In the book Targowski defines wisdom as good judgement and choice and also states that wisdom can be taught. He goes on to say that wisdom is one portion of the cognitive units that create the Semantic Ladder: Data, Information, Concept, Knowledge, and Wisdom. Targowski also gives his reasons as to why civilization is, as a whole, further behind than it was in Greek times on a philosophical level. He opines that even with the advances in the realm of Information Technology (IT), society remains unable to convert the information at its fingertips into the ultimate form of knowledge and wisdom. This book besides scientific synthesis of wisdom covers also the “art of living” and the decline in human ability to achieve its greatest potential as a global community.

She was known however for having a very good judgement and a kind nature. She worked at her father's tailor shop throughout the French revolution and the business stayed stable as her friendly and outgoing nature made no enemies. Jean-Philibert Lefranc God spoke to Chavoin saying “God does not want you to join an existing congregation, but one which has yet to come into existence.” Circa 1817 Chavoin, Jean-Claude Colin and Marie Jotillon started the Marist movement in Cerdon.

Born to Robert II Clément and Mahaut de Tourneau sometime between 1120 and 1130, Robert inherited the seigneurie of Mez on his brother Aubry's death in 1148. He had accompanied Aubry to the Holy Land in 1147 as part of the Second Crusade, but returned to France after his brother's death at Constantinople in 1148. Robert then set about recovering property of the Lordship of Mez that Aubry had sold to the Ferrières Abbey in order to fund their journey, contesting the sale on the grounds that he, as the heir to the title, had never ratified it. Robert then entered the court of Louis VII of France along with his brother Giles, distinguishing himself in administration, gaining a reputation for good judgement and integrity, and becoming one of Louis's most prominent counselors towards the end of his reign.

In January 1917, Morrison was elected as a Vice President of General Electric Company (GE) and in February 1918Electric Club, Westinghouse Club, "The Electric journal, Volume 14" he became one of the original members of the Association of Edison Pioneers Several innovations during this time, such as the development of tungsten filaments, allowed brighter and longer-lasting bulbs, with production steadily increasing throughout the ensuing years. Morrison was instrumental in the expansion of GE's lamp business and took a leading role in establishing strong relationships with other lamp manufacturers, both domestically and abroad, which ultimately led to standardization within the industry. He was known for having good judgement and being able to see both sides of an issue and arrive to accurate conclusions. He was said to have never made an enemy throughout his career and became close personal friends with all of his business associates.

Depending on which sentence is selected, the CPU-controlled opponent will either "Heat Up" (become hard), "Cool Down" (become easy) or stay neutral before fighting (no difficulty change). Moody was charged to establish British order and transform the newly established Colony of British Columbia (1858–66) into the British Empire's "bulwark in the farthest west"Donald J. This led James M. Kauffman, University of Virginia, and Gary M. Sasso, University of Iowa, to respond in 2006 suggesting that problems arise with the extreme views of the "unbound faith in science" (i.e. scientism) or the "criticism of science" (that they label as the "nonsense of postmodernism"). They go on to say that science is "the imperfect but best tool available for trying to reduce uncertainty about what we do as special educators". Some suggest teachers should not pick up research findings and implement them directly into the classroom; instead they advocate for a modified approach some call evidence-informed teaching that combines research with other types of evidence plus personal experience and good judgement. Archie Stanton Whitfield wrote that her work was "like a nosegay of violets, honeysuckle, lavender, mignonette and sweet briar" in 1929. Cecil (1934) said that she lacked the "masculinity" necessary to properly deal with social problems (Chapman, 1999, pp. 39–40).
