Only a handful of additional score tracks complemented these hits on vinyl: "The Discovery" and "Shoot-out" from Beverly Hills Cop and "Memories" from Top Gun, and only ever as B-sides on singles. However, The Running Man and Kuffs were graced with full score albums and the Thief of Hearts and Fletch scores also received reasonably good coverage on their respective soundtrack albums.

After Grant Wiley returned the kick 28 yards for the Mountaineers, they were once again held three-and-out and forced to punt. After the station started broadcasting for the first time in the region, within a short time many other local and national radio stations started to operate and become their competition. As the shows were taken over lead by a respected show host Elsa Muja the radio station took a great success competing against national radio stations such as Radio Kosova, Radio Dukagjini, and other stations in Kosovo. From 1984 until the station's move to FM in 1994, it was one of the few AM stations authorized to increase its power at night, due to NARBA amendments which authorized all stations on "graveyard" (class C) channels to quadruple their nighttime power. CJFP actually became the most powerful station in all of North America among those stations, as it was authorized to broadcast with 10,000 watts during the day and 20,000 watts (directional) at night;Decision CRTC 84-1031 however, this did not actually result in good coverage at night due to massive co-channel interference.

As colleges and schools remained closed student groups organised protest through social media, Tamilandu people who themselves are sympathetic towards Sri Lankan Tamils sent their children to take part in the protests. As protests peaked in Tamil Nadu national and international media provided good coverage. One remarkable effect of this protest is DMK chief Karuna fearing students outrage pulled out of congress alliance, On 19 March DMK chief announced withdrawal from UPA alliance citing Congress disregard to the suffering of Eelam Tamil. Some church facilities, such as sanctuaries or chapels are long rooms with low ceilings, which means that additional fill-in speakers are needed throughout the room to give good coverage. Isfjord Radio in 1933 During the early 1930s there were two main coast radio stations in Svalbard: Svalbard Radio in Longyearbyen and Barentsburg Radio. Ship traffic for export of coal increased during the period, but neither of the coast radio stations had good coverage and in 1932 there were two Soviet ships which went aground. Arktikugol took initiative to better the navigational aids in Isfjorden, including a better location for a coast radio station. Planning was carried out between the Lighthouse and Buoy Authority, the Telegraphy Administration, the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Norwegian Polar Institute, resulting in Kapp Linné being proposed as a suitable location for a radio station.

There is a mediumwave broadcasting site in the east at the Předina hill (313 m) of a rich history. Established in the thirties for Český rozhlas Brno (Czech state broadcasting comp.) and covering most of the Moravia, seized by Nazis in 1939 and rebuilt to 100 kW for their propaganda station Donausender (due to good coverage towards south and south-east) and extended to 2x 200 kW by the communist regime in the seventies. It was mainly used for the second programme on 954 kHz (and jamming of R.F.E. mediumwave Munich transmitter),the tower is still used for Český rozhlas Dvojka (954 kHz at 200KW) and a private radio station Rádio Dechovka (1233 kHz at 5KW).

CLIC accelerator with energy stages of 380 GeV, 1.5 TeV and 3 TeV CLIC is foreseen to be built and operated in three stages with different centre-of-mass energies: 380 GeV, 1.5 TeV, and 3 TeV. The integrated luminosities at each stage are expected to be 1 ab−1, 2.5 ab−1, and 5 ab−1 respectively, providing a broad physics programme over a 27-year period. These centre-of-mass energies have been motivated by current LHC data and studies of the physics potential carried out by the CLIC study. Already at 380 GeV, CLIC has good coverage of Standard Model physics; the energy stages beyond this allow for the discovery of new physics as well as increased precision measurements of Standard Model processes.

Directed energy weapons might be put on satellites in Earth orbit, but the altitude that the satellite lies would depend on what the laser is supposed to be targeting and where. The height of the satellite, the capacity of the laser, and the missile's outer shell will determine the optimum placement for targeting the furthest boosting missile, but is not far enough out that the beam misses its targets or has too much spread. When the Soviet Union was considered to be the main threat, polar orbits were chosen since they provided good coverage of the northern latitudes, even though there were no ballistic missiles deployed there. Equipment in the satellite may help to improve the performance of surveillance, acquisition, and tracking, as well as damage assessment and management functions.

In June 1987, Elting signed on broadcast translator W269AR on 101.7 MHz in order to bolster coverage in downtown Charlottesville. The 102.3 MHz facility is what is known as a rimshot station – a station licensed to a suburb or outlying area that attempts to serve a larger market. Due to its relatively low transmitter height and the hilly terrain between Crozet and Charlottesville, 102.3 has spotty coverage in the city itself, even with its highly directional signal pointed east. Most Charlottesville stations broadcast from the highest peak overlooking the city, the 1,573-foot Carter Mountain, which provides good coverage of Albemarle County. Clark moved the translator from 101.7 MHz to 94.1 MHz in November 1993 due to interference from co-owned WVSY, which had recently moved to 101.9 MHz.

By 1987 the construction of two south-facing PAVE PAWS radar sites in Georgia and Texas took over this workload, and the AN/FPS-85 was returned to full-time spacewatch duties. Today other radars share the spacetracking duties, but the AN/FPS-85 is still the primary surveillance radar in the US Space Surveillance Network due to its high power and good coverage, reportedly handling 30% of the SSN workload. The Air Force claims it is the only phased array radar that can track spacecraft in deep space, can detect an object the size of a basketball out to geosynchronous orbit, 35,700 km in space, and is the most powerful radar in the world. However its aging legacy technology, which uses vacuum tubes, gives it high maintenance costs.

Stu-Comm, Inc. purchased WNRS-FM outright in 2010, increasing its height and power in order to reach Lynchburg. Although the main signal from Carter Mountain nominally has good coverage in the lower elevations to the east, including Richmond, interference from co-channel WGTS in Washington, D.C. cuts down on reception in those areas. Stu-Comm, Inc. took additional steps to improve its terrestrial signals in 2016, starting with the acquisition of WFTH (1590 AM) in Richmond, which enabled it to purchase and move in an additional FM translator under the Federal Communications Commission's (FCC) "AM revitalization" program. This new translator, W203CB on 88.5 FM from Midlothian, became WNRN's primary Richmond-area signal on February 2, 2018. W203CB replaced W276BZ (103.1 FM), which prompted listener complaints as it broadcast at only 10 watts and had difficulty covering the city.

Two other guyed towers of similar height are the 1,996 foot high Channel 40 Tower, KTXL, and the 2,000 foot high Hearst-Argyle Tower. Towers sited here at the natural corner of the California Central Valley have line of sight coverage of flat valley floor for over 60 miles(100 kilometers) to the north and to the south- southeast, and quite good coverage into the Sierra foothills and mountains across the valley to the northeast and east. However, these towers and their guy-wires are a significant hazard to aircraft, which can otherwise freely cross most of the Central Valley at 656 feet of altitude. Delta Meadows State Recreation Area Located along the Railroad Slough Levee, and accessed from the River Road between Walnut Grove and Locke, via a small gravel road just north- east of the Delta Cross Channel, a water diversion facility on the Sacramento River.

When the Leica was being developed, Oskar Barnack tried a 50 mm Tessar, but because it had been designed to cover only the 18×24 mm field of a cine frame, he found it inadequate for coverage of the Leica 24×36 mm format. The lens designed by Max Berek for the Leica rangefinder camera was a modified Cooke triplet with five elements in three groups, the third group being three cemented elements, with the aperture stop in the first air space. This lens, called the Elmax, gave good coverage of the 24×36 mm format and was used until improved optical glass allowed the third group to be simplified to a cemented pair when it was renamed Elmar. It was not until Zeiss Ikon was developing the Contax camera to compete with the Leica that the Tessar was redesigned to cover a 24×36 mm negative.

CFGE-FM is a French-language Canadian radio station located in Sherbrooke, Quebec. The station airs an adult contemporary format, and is part of the Rythme FM network which operates across much of Quebec. The station's transmitter is located at Mount Bellevue. Owned and operated by Cogeco, it broadcasts on 93.7 MHz using a directional antenna with an average effective radiated power of 7,412 watts and a peak effective radiated power of 25,500 watts (class B). Since its transmitter site is located at Mount Bellevue, the station has (unlike competitors CITE-FM-1 and CIMO-FM) good coverage in the city of Sherbrooke, but because of severe deficiencies in covering neighbouring Magog, the station operates a relay there, CFGE-FM-1, which broadcasts on 98.1 MHz using a directional antenna with an average effective radiated power of 360 watts and a peak effective radiated power of 900 watts (class B). The station received CRTC approval in 2003.

Today, most telephones support multiple bands as used in different countries to facilitate roaming. These are typically referred to as multi-band phones. Dual-band phones can cover GSM networks in pairs such as 900 and 1800 MHz frequencies (Europe, Asia, Australia and Brazil) or 850 and 1900 (North America and Brazil). European tri-band phones typically cover the 900, 1800 and 1900 bands giving good coverage in Europe and allowing limited use in North America, while North American tri-band phones utilize 850, 1800 and 1900 for widespread North American service but limited worldwide use. A new addition has been the quad-band phone, also known as a World Phone, supporting at least all four major GSM bands, allowing for global use (excluding non-GSM countries such as Japan, South Korea and as well countries where 2G system was shut down to release frequencies and spectrum for LTE networks like Australia (since 2017), Singapore and Taiwan (since 2018).

Jackson intercepting a pass Jackson entered training camp in 2011 competing with Johnathan Joseph, Jason Allen, and Brice McCain to keep the starting cornerback position. New defensive coordinator Wade Phillips named Jackson the left cornerback to start the regular season opposite Joseph. On the first play, Memphis was called for a pass interference penalty, which gave FAU a first down in Memphis territory. Despite having been stopped with no score on its last drive of the first quarter, Florida Atlantic returned to the offensive efficiency that characterized its possessions at the beginning of the game. It took the Owls just four plays after the penalty to score their first touchdown of the second quarter, a 16-yard Chris Bonner reception. The drive took just 1:42 and gave FAU a 24-10 lead with 10:25 remaining in the first half. Good coverage by the Owls' special teams on the kickoff pinned Memphis inside its own 15-yard line, and Memphis picked up a first down only with difficulty. Two long passes of 17 and 41 yards, however, reversed Memphis's field position, putting the Tigers deep in FAU territory and in position to score. Backed up inside their own 10-yard line, the FAU defense again stiffened to keep Memphis from crossing the goal line. After three straight plays were stopped for no gain or negative yardage, Memphis was forced to settle for a 35-yard field goal attempt that was successful. With 5:55 before halftime, Memphis cut the Owls' lead to 24-13.

This transmitter - again, by Wireless Workshop - was initially sited by Bertram Russell tower. This, on a hill by water, was one of the best possible AM transmission sites in Essex. The 1602 kHz LPAM mast had to be moved in 2003 to accommodate new student residences, and was sited behind the Sports Hall. Although in the tradition of URE, 999 kHz on induction loops was maintained as backup. URE closed 999 kHz in 2001 due to the extra costs of two AM licences. By 1997 month-long FM broadcasts became the norm, and these were permitted to be heard by an audience beyond the campus. 20 watts with a mast on the roof of the SU building gave good coverage over North Essex. It gave virtual 24-hour output: these acted as a good advert for the student union, and also broadcast the Sabbatical election hustings, encouraging thousands to vote. URE broadcast in FM from 30 Sep – 27 Oct 1997 (during which it also maintained a split service daytime 1404AM output, and had separate jingles for 999 kHz AM. Medium Wave was known as the "Gold" service, FM was "hot hits".) There were subsequent FM broadcasts from 6 October to 2 November 1998, from 5 October to 1 November 1999, and from 31 January to 27 February 2005.
